3401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: March 29, 2020, 03:32:42 AM

Considering that this crisis would be over in April, venues would still be a problem? Boxing event in Las Vegas every weekend of June, that would be fun  Grin.

The thing is US can't even handle the spread of the virus, do they give some kind of ETA on when they'll be able to contain the virus?
Until now there's no vaccine yet, it's the only thing that would stop the spread of the virus, so I doubt this will be over by April, unless they'll give some explanation to us on the details on how they'll stop the spread and keep the people safe so their life will be back to normal.
3402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency price is coming back. on: March 29, 2020, 02:25:42 AM
From $9k drops straight to $4k (quite worrying) and a little bounce back at $6k...feel I was entertained how people been in panic selling because of the crash.
You should not be worried with that, we've seen this many times and we should trust that bitcoin will always bounce back.
I tell you man, only the weak hands and the newbies would worry, we the experience traders will not, instead we live seeing the dump.

Moving forward to have this halving means a lot in the market trend and all hoping that it works fine even though we are in the crisis.
Hopefully but I believe the market would be bullish soon as the support is quite strong, they won't let bitcoin dump again.
3403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was $3,871 on this day - 1 year ago on: March 28, 2020, 12:27:33 PM
I think Bitcoin is a very good opportunity for you to consider investing but you need to be careful because the price of this coin is still trending down and could collapse at any time. In the last few weeks, the price of bitcoin went down to $3800 and it was a price I never expected. Until now it still haunts me because I lost more than half of my assets during that time.

Yes, the price falls and I think people should already consider that before they put their money into Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Another thing is that the price of Bitcoin did not fall at $3800 since it just fell at $4100. That price is the price last year showing us that the recent movement is not bad at all, and we should consider this since the fact that a lot of people are still continuing to invest and put their trust into this cryptocurrency is amazing. The proof is already there, now we are $6.6K.

Yeah that was $4100, the $3800 price happened in 2018 and I'm glad we didn't fall that low despite our situation is worst compared in 2018, and also good to see that bitcoin is still recovering and it has put us away at a bad price of $4100. A drop happened to day but we have a good support and bitcoin still says at $6000, $6200 now as I'm writing.
3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 28, 2020, 12:06:55 PM
I don't think that we need to worry about NBA players though, yes they can be affected as well, but there body is always healthy and could get the best medicine to help them out.

I agree with that, though America is a rich country, there are also poor people out there that needs the help of the government.
If this fight is only handled by the US, even if they are a big country, I have doubt that they can stop the spread in just a short period of time.

US might not think of asking help from its rival country, but if this situation worsen, they don't have a choice.
3405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's just the beginning on: March 28, 2020, 11:14:55 AM
Throughout the history of Bitcoin, during difficult times, many people have said that it is the end of Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has always resisted and returned even stronger than it was last time. It is definitely not the end of the crypto market, as blockchain technology is becoming more popular and cryptocurrency is becoming more and more profitable.
That's right, we can check the history of bitcoin and we will be amaze, however, through times we still can't deny that there are still people who do panic in situations where the market is bad or when there is a economic collapse, even by just speculation only on what has not happen yet, people could still panic, so how much more now that we are witnessing how the virus have destroyed our economy.

I guess the global economy is easier to predict now but the crypto market will remain unpredictable, bitcoin could rise opposite from what we are expecting.
3406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 27, 2020, 11:54:18 PM
Probably china has already develop an anti-bodies that kill the infected cells of the virus and will cure it through medication.
We can just speculate right now, but if they really have the cure already, its there responsibility to share it to other countries, but there was no news about that until now, hopefully they are not playing a "power game" where they want to be in the Top and want other countries to bow down first, including the US.

Also, China is recovering fast, I hope they help other countries as well like Italy and the USA that's suffering from the virus, all of us don't deserve this. After that, we can already continue all of the sports competitions and tournaments for sports gambling, and the market will be alive again.
The market can wait, but people dying everyday, this is already worst, unacceptable if we have the cure but was not shared to the affected countries.
3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 27, 2020, 11:34:06 PM
If coronavirus never happened I personally still believe the crypto market will get a decrease before and after halving but one thing I believe is the decline will not be as severe as experienced so far because with this coronavirus the decline is greater and of course it makes the situation more bad. But after all, I personally am still confident if the bullrun will definitely happen but at least it will not happen this year and we will likely wait at least until the pandemic ends.
It seems like bitcoin is just waiting for one big push to pump right now, its been very stable at $6600 for days already, and we can't say that there are no people trading right now because the 24 hours volume is over $30 billion.

Because you think there's no bull run this year when Coronavirus did not destroy the economy yet, then maybe this is the time that the bull run will come, I mean people should safeguard their money especially US now which are heavily affected, where would they put that? stocks?, no... it's gonna be in crypto.
3408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 27, 2020, 11:19:00 PM
Indeed this is a good news, both of them are able and healthy body that's why there were able to recover just like the rest.
They have a good immune system, actually even Mitchell  said he can still play a series of games even when already infected with the virus, but there's a possibility that he will be infected again if he will not be careful, so there is no choice right now but just to stay at home.

However, there are new cases in the US, as they now top that category, not good for the US because most likely the NBA games are going to be suspended even further.
The number now has increased to 101,000 as I am writing, this is going worst, if this hits millions, I don't know what would happen to the US.
3409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 26, 2020, 10:45:04 AM
I hope the vaccine will be shared faster.

So is it also possible that the vaccine was already created by a specific country but was not just shared to other countries.

I've seen movies, those countries who discover the vaccine seem to prioritize their people, and since China now are looking good with few or no cases being listed, I guess we can assume that they had already found the vaccine.

Any thoughts?
3410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 26, 2020, 10:24:14 AM
Anyway it seems that volumes of gambling dapps are about the same...

can you share some graphs ?sorry but i don't know how to check about how each sites incoming profit or losses?
Some sites divulge their profit, some not, for sites that accept investment, they are sure sharing their profit to be transparent to their investors but most of the gambling sites does not accept investment, so we won't know. Let's just use a simple analysis here, the fact that they remain in operation, that means they are profitable in their business.

3411  Economy / Speculation / Re: we all were waiting for bitcoin halving, we got bitcoin price halving on: March 24, 2020, 11:58:33 AM
This thread was created when there was no panic yet on the current corona virus pandemic, and for awhile, people forget the benefit of the coming halving as they are more focus on the current situation, some panic while some took advantage when people panic, that's normal, but what's good now is that the market is starting to rebound and we are seeing an uptrend that could possibly continue.
3412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency price is coming back. on: March 24, 2020, 11:39:09 AM
Bitcoin recover their position and have chance to come back again but of course we also can't ignore halving because this will become the next problem.
How would halving become a problem?
I think majority of us are thinking halving is good as it will result to the increase of bitcoin's price.

First wave ( corona ) is not done yet so let's think the worst thing bitcoin will lost value after halving. As trader I must say wait until market condition become stable again, for some people wait and see is wasting time but for me safe way is better than revenge ( panic buy ).

There is no 2nd wave, what we are experiencing now is the result of the covid-19, as long as it's still actively infecting people, it's a threat to our life and no government that is in its sound mind would allow people to do their usual activity prior to the covid-19, we need a cure for this one because we can say that the market is good again, panic buying is a normal reaction due to the fear, but we should be educated, we need that to fight the virus.
3413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 24, 2020, 10:01:51 AM
Who likes to see TR47 vs Pringle to compete as the best player in the conference?
Me me! That would be so intense for sure Smiley. I can not see that if these two teams make it to the Finals once again, we can see a battle of cross overs, and stop & pump threes for sure. But if I will choose between the two on who is better (no bias), I will go to Pringle because he seems more athletic for me. Your thoughts Grin?

Pringle is better when it comes to the playoffs as for sure Terrence will be pressured and he can't handle the ball like he usually do.
If the defense is focus on him, he can't generate his usual points so he will not be effective as a player, and he will lose the battle against Pringle.
Romeo is more accurate with his shooting compared to Pringle, but with defense, Romeo's accurate will go down, I've seen that in the past when these two players are still playing at the same team, IIRC, it was the Alaska who stopped Romeo and they beat the North Port.
3414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has anyone made money by investing in crowdfunded startups? on: March 24, 2020, 09:34:31 AM
I'm done investing in crowdfunding, I mean I am still on pause right now as most of my experience in 2018 is bad, only in 2017 where I made profit in most of my investments, and I realize not everyday is a profitable day, investing needs timing and when the market is bearish, it's definitely not a good timing, unless you are investing for long term as I believe there are still good projects out there which has great potential in the future.
3415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering on: March 24, 2020, 06:27:12 AM
If the COVID-19 panic continue while no vaccination is detected there's totally the chance of bitcoin market to downtrend to the $3000 even during halving because more business will be close including some other activities and some  crypto investors/traders will have no choice than to sell some of their holding.
There is still another month to find a vaccine to treat Covid-19 because halving will occur in May I think there is still time for scientists to find it.
I do not expect bitcoin will fall again to the bottom let alone reach $ 3000. Let's see what will happen even though there is a lockdown happening in various countries, but they are still confident about bitcoin that will be able to fly high to go up.
Will see, but its necessary that we will remain optimistic, and for me, we don't really need to see a bullish run before the halving, we can achieve that after if it would really happen, this vaccine for now is what we really need, and the market will resume as usual.
3416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 24, 2020, 05:30:21 AM
seems that ETH stabilized on these levels, after large breakdown ten days ago, do you expect momentum to change due to BTC halving, which is a positive event, even with corona virus still present, and it will be probably still actual on May, 13

Forget halving for awhile, the biggest challenge now is what we are facing, after this COVID-19 which I hope will gone soon, we can expect that bitcoin will rise. Bitcoin is affected with the economic collapse but it seems showing its toughness, it's recovering well for now, stays at good support, so let's see where it could go from here, by the way, Bitcoin has a pretty solid 24 hours movement.
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 24, 2020, 05:03:02 AM
It will come and go. But Jamal did cum.  Grin
This is just like another Paris Hilton sex tape and it will be forgotten.
The only problem now is people are at their homes including kids who are using internet like 24/7.
We don't want them seeing that.

I have two nieces who really love the Denver Nuggets team specially Jamal.
Just imagine that. They are both girls who loved Jamal when they saw me watching NBA in local channel and they are now following him in facebook.
I don't want them seeing that anywhere.

The best way not to them see the sex tape is to avoid using internet or advice them not to follow any news of Jamal either. In which I don't think is quite possible this days. I always forbid my kids not to use gadgets as I know how nothing will help them much because they'll just be going around in social media. Hate to say the reality but it seems majority of the kids now a days uses internet in no good.

You can't stop them from using, internet has become a necessity nowadays, it will make people smarter as they can get instant information they like, as a father, you just have to ensure that you guide your kids, educate them on how to properly use the internet, and not preventing them from using it, just saying.

BTW, I can't find the scandal online, maybe it was already deleted and that's good.
3418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 23, 2020, 10:11:45 AM
I think this is true that the porn sites will so much effect on the crypto market and that effect is negative not positive becasue in so many countries peoples will not like the porn sites and they ban this so if the crypto market will start to work with that than the peoples will may be not use this in future.
you're right, if it wasn't the porn industry, I think it would be better. it's just that hearing an industry accept crypto, that's good enough. however, this is a pretty interesting step. however, the artist in question will start regarding crypto.
Porn industry still makes money, therefore there is a demand here and when there is an increase of demand, it is good for out market.
In every industry not everyone are accepting it or happy with it, just like gambling industry, there are group of people especially religion that are against it but in reality it gives boost to the crypto market because it gives people an ease to gamble online.

they can stop being porn artists when they know the potential of this technology right?
That's another story, but maybe there are some who sees the potential but crypto here is a payment method, at the end of the day, they'll still convert it to fiat.
3419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are having rough days, are you still a HODL? on: March 23, 2020, 09:42:39 AM
We usually do "HODL" when there is big dump, that's where we are tested on how strong our faith on bitcoin and in crypto in general.

This is the best time that everyone should be holding, selling when the price is going down does not give us benefit, the opposite is the right thing to do here if we still have that funds to accumulate at dip. Bitcoin will always bounce back, we will be able to get pass this trial, so "HODL" and we shall get rewarded at the right time.
yes, selling is not a good solution at the moment. if you want to sell it, do it at a high price before it dumps. Well, prices are dumping, and now is the time to hold our assets, because selling them now is the same as looking for losses.
I would understand if the newbie would sell but for those who are help in 2017 and experience in the long bear market in 2018, it's not acceptable to see when they panic because that means they didn't learn from their experience. I don't know if some are thankful for what they are witnessing now, because in my case I am still thankful because I see an opportunity here, not to dump but to buy, we are at dip now, please people look at that way.
3420  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: March 23, 2020, 05:46:28 AM
A country with a big population would benefit crypto as crypto is not yet fully adopted all over the world, they will be few of the countries that legalize crypto and therefore they'll reap the benefit of it. I believe the reason why they lift the ban of crypto in their country because they find it useful than a threat, of course crypto is not perfect but with proper regulation, it would be more useful for legal activities than on illegal activities.
