3401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: January 15, 2021, 05:27:54 PM
In this match, it was Neymar and other players who played a big role. Messi went into the shadows and could not change the situation. At the moment, Neymar is not in Barcelona. And Messi is no longer as strong as a couple of years ago. So if this situation happens again, then Barcelona will not be able to work a miracle.

A bit of nonsensical analysis my friend,,, Neymar was at his peak the same time Messi was together in Barcelona. I can even argue that he lost some of his influence after he left for PSG, because mainly he could not win anything there other than French title (which is not even a given currently).
3402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Virtacoin( VTA ) on: January 15, 2021, 04:00:32 PM
No trading activity recorded by exchanges integrated on CoinGecko in the past 2 months
Is there plan to show VTA on coinmarketcap or coingeko?

Even if there was activity showing up on Coingecko/CMC,,, does not really mean anything. All trading for coins like these are generally just speculation anyway (if not outrightly done manipulatively by the few actual token owners related to the project). Feel safe and bet on assured coins, the rest put in money you can afford to lose.

5000 satoshi for free,,, which faucet can claim to give that away with no conditions at all? Nice wins. Still hoping for a big lottery hit myself. Bitcoin price keeps going up though so even small amounts today can be worth a lot more years later (that is,,, if you manage to keep it without gambling;) ).

3404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin stay as "Blockchain silver" an important coin? on: January 15, 2021, 11:37:15 AM
Litecoin is often associated as "digital silver" or "Blockchain silver" while Bitcoin is "digital gold" or "Blockchain gold". Will Litecoin remain legitimate to be "Blockchain silver" or would you say "Blockchain silver" is not really a norm of scarcity like real silver?
Can Litecoin still make appropriate gains?

Silver will always be a smaller cousin to gold. More affordable, more in supply, and still valuable every bit as gold in terms of utility and value. So yes,,, Litecoin will make the appropriate gains as it has already been doing in recent times. Just need to be patient for a recovery to old ATH.
3405  Economy / Gambling / Re: RANE.GG | Crypto Gambling | New Game Modes | EOS Provably Fair | FREE $0.1 on: January 15, 2021, 10:01:08 AM
Is it really only possible to login with Google or Steam?

The biggest advantage of crypto is that you can stay anonymous. With only those login options it isn't.

I do not mind making a Google account just to login for this though, but maybe yeah, there should be a way just to login with EOS wallet or ETH wallet at the very least,,, that way no need to have anything other than private key or seed access.

Look at Fairlay for a good example of how to set markets:)
3406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 What is the best DeFi project to invest in 2021? 🔥 on: January 15, 2021, 06:58:10 AM
For 2021, I'm only interested investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum, because both of them have performed very well. Meanwhile, there are a lot of
DeFi tokens that have failed, so I won't waste my money investing in DeFi projects. But there is an exception for Chainlink which has the best
performance in my opinion compared to other DeFi projects. Maybe Chainlink is the only DeFi project that will be included in my portfolio in 2021.

The only defi tokens I would ever hold on to are the ones that will be given to me free,,, but since I simply do not use any Defi platform, I guess all those airdrops will never drop in my lap;)

I was thinking of joining some platforms later in case they airdrop but with gas so high I do not think I would even want to bother.
3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will reach all time high on 2021 on: January 14, 2021, 05:43:20 PM
Sometimes what I wonder is whether bitcoin really have correlation with alt season like is bitcoin dumping gonna make alt get pumped? I don't think there's clear correlation at all between btc and alt so saying that when btc drops alt goes up is just a speculation.
Not to mention there's history of alt being dumped because massive dump happens to BTC. Now try to see the market, BTC bull run accompanied by alt bull run which means the market pattern between btc and alt is not going opposite to each other  Roll Eyes.

I think slowly over the years Bitcoin correlation has gotten weaker and weaker with other markets. It does its own thing. But crypto is still defined overall by Bitcoin,,, good Bitcoin adoption is good for crypto, and people still use BTC to buy alts, which is always going to help push alts up. I mean, look at the rally now and see the effect already.
3408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 14, 2021, 04:15:40 PM
I hope that is not the case. Don't get me wrong he is not a terrible player, but when you come from likes of Diego Costa and Suarez, Dembele is not remotely the same level of talent if you ask me. Dude is fine but he is not enough if you want to be at the top of the list.

I think for me, Dembele is sort of like the talent you keep feeling is there,,, but you never really get to see it all or see it consistently, and injuries is part of that issue (then again, Costa and Suarez and players like Kane or Bale always get injuries too but nobody questions their consistency when they are fit).
3409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 14, 2021, 11:28:03 AM
This is a classic. When you are not able to score more than one goal although you had a lot of opportunities the other team even if it is weaker can equalize you. This happened to Tottenham and Manchester City was lucky to win considering Brighton put a lot of pressure on them.I lost my bet yesterday as I played a double with City and Tottenham to win.

Yes,,, hard to swallow the result and even harder to swallow the reality is that my team Spurs can never challenge for the title if all we do is rely on Kane and Son game after game. And to see them have their hearts break when we concede just kills me,,, I have always said it of course, now to look and see if Gareth Bale helps relieve the pressure.
3410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another scam bounty campain Yearn.Global on: January 14, 2021, 09:37:33 AM
I participated in this bounty but it didn't work because I did research and found that the managers in this bounty have a strict anti scam approach. However this Bounty Manager is now offline so you can't recover your earned token even if you want to so don't waste time. So this is a scam bounty so be forget it and go another bounty.

These days,,, which manager does not have a strict anti scam approach? This is not 2017 anymore my friend,,, all bounty managers now are doing this by default if they even want to run a good program. No more lazy managers now.

And still, as you can see, ended up scamming. Forget temporary bounties and find something good for yourself ok?
3411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 14, 2021, 09:06:20 AM
I find it strange that a guy who can find a bug and earn 6 BTC as a bounty reward,,, does not do 2FA. Or even weirder that the guy actually has a malware or listening tool on his computer. I mean bug finders are great coders and programmers. They do not usually get phished so easily, right?
3412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: January 14, 2021, 07:32:53 AM
i think defi is much more credible concept than IEO/ICO previously, - here even when we see a huge hype, we understand that there's a strong financial model/technical base/strategic roadmap under this particular token.  i believe defi isn't a real hype more like stable concept which will have a huge impact on a crypto market

Not necessarily,,, I mean if you look at Defi it is really just a spin on the crowdloaning model. P2P loans and people charging incredible interest,,, for tokens that actually have zero value other than on speculation markets.

For me, that is never sustainable and defi models already show that this is true:)
3413  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 14, 2021, 07:01:40 AM
City - Brighton and Tottenham - Fulham.

Any predictions guys ? Because I have no feeling in the last couple of days and I continue to loose and I'm asking here what are you predictions for this 2 games ? Can we see a double victory from both City and Tottenham ? Or we could see a both team to score at Spurs and a 3+ at City ?

It all looked so good for me and my BetBuilder,,, Kane scored, Brighton got the yellow card I picked, and we were leading at Half Time. We even got enough corners (6 and I went for over 5.5) And then Spurs happened to themselves all over again:(

Fulham did get one more corner than I picked so I would have lost anyway,,, but if we won I would be at least consoled.

3414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 25% of crypto users not securing assets as well as they think on: January 14, 2021, 05:55:01 AM
Let's say most of the crypto users are young and even teens, they usually don't take care about the security of the wallets. I saw many users saying, "none would attempt to steal my coins" by saying that, they think none will ever target them but they are wrong. Activating and using the 2FA will take sometime that's why many people won't use this method, however activating the 2fa won't guarantee your security but this can be a great step besides that, holding bitcoin or any crypto on exchange doesn't make any sense because you don't access to your private keys and there is always the risk of losing your coins.

Where on earth would you find such users who have told you such things? Made up science;)

And let us not say most crypto users are young or teens. We have the data of users,,, this is not the case. Did you not read the survey or any of all the other surveys? Or even this forum? We are not teens, my friend. Just adults who do not practice good crypto storage methods.

Team booking pts - Fulham Over 9.5 (90 mins)
Team corners - Fulham Under 5.5 (90 mins)
Team corners - Tottenham Over 4.5 (90 mins)
Total goals - Over 1.5 (90 mins)
Result - Tottenham win (90 mins)

3416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin has the most investment value in the cryptocurrency field? on: January 13, 2021, 11:42:06 AM
Ethereum.
Oh, and I am looking at LTC too. Old school type of coins.
I have a bad experience joining new alts to invest with that is why I just went back to the old habit.
I think I was also dragged by the hype in 2017 with alts soaring in value and I got used to it until just recently I was brought back to reality.
Now, I gained a lot of my profit from my Ethereum investment which was just bought at $260. I could really sell now if I want to.

I can second Litecoin with a huge vote. It is old school, has among the oldest Bitcoin users/holders also holding and slowly buying up. And without saying much,,, it has been fundamentally building up just like Bitcoin (tech + users + volume).

A lot of sellers tempted now for ETH over $100:) You are surely not the only one!
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 13, 2021, 11:07:29 AM
Some people have speculated that Pogba will be leaving this January but I don't see that happening now. I bet Man United is just waiting for an offer from bigger clubs like Real Madrid. They have the cash to splurge but buying Pogba will probably depend on how they do this season in La Liga and Champions League.

I have a feeling whether Pogba leaves or not will be more to do with things outside of his control. First of all,,, van de beek is his direct replacement (Bruno already we know for sure is preferred) and if they can make it permanent then he is out. Second of all,,, if they can find another substitute to the same quality of Bruno, then he is 100% out. That is, if some club wants him now.
3418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will EOS be worth in the future? on: January 13, 2021, 09:53:15 AM
I've "married" my EOS summer 2018 and since then I'm willing to "divorce" them for a long time. I think I'm going to hold them for the rest of my life. Same as EOS, I've been Waves holders for a long period, but this summer Waves released an update and its price reached ATH, then Bitcoin price growth pushed all other altcoins up and its price tripled since same summer 2018. Sadly EOS does not copy Waves achievements and remained on the same level for 2 years. Imho, speaking about investments - EOS has no future, but as a projects - it might have.

I understand where you are coming from,,, I myself married into my few holdings of altcoins in 2017 and have been holding on since then but of course I let go of the majority of others since then. I do not mind the few I have left, I know they have taken many years to really take hold but they all are fundamentally stronger every year. It is the waiting game for sure.
3419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2021, 09:18:52 AM
I agree Atletico have always had good strikers, and now signing Dembele is a very good decision. Moreover, Atletico do need a replacement for Suarez
if Suarez is injured and cannot play after losing Diego Costa. Now Atletico are top of the table in La Liga, in order to make Atletico play consistently
and continue to score goals in every match, good strikers are needed. And I believe Moussa Dembele can do that

I thought Suarez was the Diego Costa replacement? That guy is generally fit all the time,,, I think he was just unlucky to get some injuries in his final Barcelona season, but I think he plays through pain a lot. Has he not been wearing that hand wrap for like forever?

Hard to find a striker suited for Atletico style, a Cavani type would work well.
3420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 13, 2021, 07:35:12 AM
This seems wrong, because some tokens on the ETH network have increased. this happened in addition to the increase in price from Ethereum as well as from bitcoin. the impact is when the price of bitcoin is stable the price of altcoin will be bullish and yesterday you could witness a huge increase in altcoins

Increased in price, market value, which we all know is not really indicative of any real long term intrinsic value. Imagine that even Bitcoin with all its proven utility still raises questions of intrinsic value (which I do not agree with),,, what more other networks where they have yet to achieve real world scale and usefulness?
