Hitler had been a Christian (Catholic) in his early years. Although he fell into crazy religious ideals in later life, he never denounced the Church, and he was never excommunicated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler

We don't know that he was an atheist. He probably wasn't. So, the Holocaust wouldn't necessarily fit the classification of genocide done by atheists.

Smiley

But since the Catholic Church is not Christian, and he wanted death for people, he was not Christian. Anyone who wants death for people, is wishing to cut their life shorter than the Lord intends and may stop someone from being saved, this is not a love for that person. Because if we love our brothers and sisters, we wish for all to be saved as the Lord does.

1 John 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

No Christian should attempt to cut another's life shorter because that life may have been saved later on, also that life may have gone on to save even more people. Some of the best testimonies of Christianity are from atheists who have been saved. They deserve to live long enough to be saved and perhaps save others through their testimony.

Neither of the two passages necessarily make a person an atheist, or even an unsaved unbeliever.

We simply don't know whether or not Hitler became an atheist.

In the Crusades of the middle ages, Crusaders were theists that did a lot of killing in the name of the Lord. Much of the time they were wrong in doing it. But they never became atheists because they did it. They were simply ignorant Christians.

34162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What you want in indian politics? Give your ideas... on: November 10, 2015, 07:36:42 PM
I'm not at all versed in Indian law or the Indian Constitution. However, the Indian Constitution is based on English common law. Because of this, any man or woman in India can enter the courts as a man or woman (probably some form of Queen's Bench) and stand as such, based on harm or damage done to others.

The point is, common law is the everyday law of the people in any specific area. It is entirely separate from the legal system. Common law rules over the legal system. Why? Because common law is the law of man to man, and people are all created equal in their "me" identity.

Legal is the law of paperwork against man. Paperwork never gets up and does anything. It is always men and women that do something. Thus, common law trumps legal law.

However, if people don't know this, and if lawyers are shrewd enough to sell the people on being under the legal system, then it is the people themselves, by their own individual belief (they believed the lawyers), wherein they place themselves subservient to paperwork called the legal system.

If you are truly interested in common law, go to http://www.myprivateaudio.com/Karl-Lentz.html and watch the video at the top right of the page, where Karl Lentz explains how he invoked Queens Bench (common law) in England, on behalf of some Punjabi Indians living in England, and got them off scott free.

The earth is a sphere. The Old Testament says, talking about God, in Job 26:7:
Quote
He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

Places in the Bible that talk about the "pillars" of the earth, could easily be talking about the "pillars" that hold the crust of the earth in position on the mantle.

Wow... That is scary. If WW3 will come I don't know what to do.
Well if it happend I won't go to school and work xD Only if it happends in my country.

Well... actually it is quite simple. In a world war, there will always be three groups of nations. The first one will be composed of the attackers and their allies. The second group will be composed of the opponents of the former. Then there will be a third group, consisting of countries which are going to remain neutral. If your country is not in the third group, then migrate to one of these countries.

Depending on the capabilities of the first two groups, the third group just might be swallowed up by the first two.

There is a fourth group. Switzerland didn't simply happen to want to remain neutral, and so the others left it alone. Switzerland is the leading nation of the fourth group... and maybe the only nation in it. What is this fourth group? It is communications.

Switzerland is the Post Office Nation of the world. That's why loads of treaties are signed there. Switzerland has been designated Communications and Postal by the other countries of the world, and it is the place where these other nations can meet in peace to discuss terms and treaties, this way and that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Postal_Union

In this time of advanced communications, Switzerland may lose its Postal position if WW3 is particularly wild.

Smiley

EDIT: Interestingly enough, this Postal designation for Switzerland goes back to before the United States became a nation in the late 1700s.

Google "Was Hitler an atheist?" to see that there is a lot of evidence that he was not an atheist.

34166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHO officially declares Sierra Leone Ebola-free on: November 10, 2015, 12:20:58 PM
You're missing the point. Nobody has reported the infection but that doesn't mean it isn't still a threat. This is Sierra Leone, not the United States. The same health standards don't apply

I know that. But I was referring to the WHO methodology in my previous post. The WHO will declare a country as "Ebola-free" if there are no confirmed cases for 42 days (6 weeks) on continuation. I know that this methodology is not very safe, as there were multiple incidents in Sierra Leone and Liberia where the family members hid their Ebola infected relatives from the health authorities.

So I guess that means we should take the WHO ruling as a grain of salt. Its Ebola free until the next person contracts it Smiley

Grain of salt?!

WHO and the military created and distributed Ebola among the countries of Africa, and maybe more.

Yabut, who is the WHO?

The WHO Chronicle noted by 1968—ten years into the WHO's viral research program—"WHO virus reference centers" had served as authorized technical advisors and suppliers of "prototype virus strains, diagnostic and reference reagents (e.g., antibodies), antigens, and cell cultures" for more than "120 laboratories in 35 different countries." Within a year of this announcement, this number increased to "592 virus laboratories.. [and] only 137 were outside Europe and North America."

Over these 12 months, the NCI and CDC helped the WHO distribute 2,514 strains of viruses, 1,888 ampoules of antisera mainly for reference purposes, 1,274 ampoules of antigens, and about 100 samples of cell cultures. More than 70,000 individual reports of virus isolations or related serological tests had been transmitted through the WHO-NCI network.

True. Religion doesn't keep people from doing bad things. It simply shows them the difference between good and bad so that they can make up their own mind better. Religion helps define the borders between good and evil.

The thing BitNow and I were talking about is what we want for atheists. BitNow has expressed in the past that they want death for atheists. I have expressed that I want life for the atheists. And, who should fear an atheist threat more because of what they want for atheists.

Smiley

Well, personally, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so I would prefer not to involve myself in other people's affairs too much. Let atheists be, for they have made their own decision.

Even if there is a chance to convince atheists to change their opinion, I wouldn't bother trying anything. I mean, this is basically the same as an atheist trying to convert religious people to atheism.

In the end, it doesn't really matter.

Huh! A difference of belief.

If an atheist changes his ways, and becomes a theist, there is a much greater chance that he will find the true God, and be saved.

Certainly, on the other side, if a Christian truly loses his belief in God, he will never be able to be brought back to salvation again. But, God works especially hard to keep his people.

If an atheist converts a theist who is NOT a believer in the true God, both unbelievers are still unbelievers.

330,000 Cops Threaten 'Surprise' for Quentin Tarantino, Promise to 'Hurt Him'

Quote
On Wednesday, the Free Thought Project reported on the remarkably brave stance Academy Award-winning film director Quentin Tarantino, has made in owning his comments condemning police brutality.

After police across the country had announced their plans to boycott his films, Tarantino refused to be bullied and remained steadfast in his decision to call the police who murdered people “murderers. ”

Tarantino was not calling all cops murderers, nor was he purporting that he “hates cops.” However, these facts are not important to those throwing bricks from the other side of the blue wall.

Instead of Cowering to Pressure, Quentin Tarantino Fights Back Against Police Boycott

Refusing to back down against false accusations, Academy Award-winning film director Quentin Tarantino continues to stand by his statements condemning police brutality. After Tarantino spoke out against several police killings at a recent protest, police unions responsible for defending corrupt cops have called for a boycott against his latest movie.

The day after FBI Director James Comey falsely accused police brutality videos of increasing violent crime, Tarantino spoke at a rally called Rise Up October in New York City along with roughly 40 families affected by police violence.

“Tamir Rice.” Tarantino repeated, “Tamir Rice. A 12-year-old black male child. Cleveland, Ohio. On November 22, 2014, Tamir was playing with a toy gun in the park. After a 911 call with the person calling saying the gun was probably a fake and the person holding it was probably a juvenile, the police rushed over onto the scene and shot Tamir within two seconds. Then they knocked down and handcuffed his sister and locked her in the police car. And they would not allow his mother to hold her lifeless child who lied dead in the street.”

34180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin democratic or are we just transferring wealth? on: November 10, 2015, 01:22:44 AM
The system is basically just reproducing the inefficiencies and inequalities that exist in the wide world and reprinting them in a micro scale. I don't see a difference between the Bitcoin market and any other commodity market, prices are determined by irrational market forces rather than some reasoned, understandable force.

Bankers on Wall Street shift Bitcoin in huge amounts and probably buy a lot of coins when they are cheap to profit on. Arbitrage traders would be all over Bitcoin, it's amazing. But Bankers on Wall St. want cocaine, and cocaine can be purchased with Bitcoin.

Are Cartels and Mafia groups using BTC?

What's your point?

You'd like for Bitcoin to make everyone equal? To "spread the wealth"? Not happening.

Bitcoin is pure unadulterated crack capitalism cocaine. Of course bankers, traders and every one that is power hungry will love it.

I think you just summarized his point. Bitcoin is no more noble, altruistic, or romantic than the current commodity market. Well, maybe a bit more romantic...

Bitcoin is special for its access and infrastructure...it's not saving the world.

Yes, I'd say that's what the point was. If Bitcoin was revolutionary, poor people would have lots of it and rich people would trade their worldly goods for those coins.

Early adopters who paid a penny for a handful of bitcoins didn't lose much but gained a lot as the current price shows.

Since Bitcoin is NOT being used as a major medium of exchange, its time hasn't come yet.

We don't know for sure where Bitcoin will go. Perhaps someone will find a bizarre way of breaking it tomorrow. Perhaps it will become the world trade currency someday.

The democratic thing about Bitcoin is, almost anybody who has a little cash can own a little of it. Bitcoin is simply a gamble as far as an investment goes. It isn't anything else as far as being a practical trade medium for poor people.

If a poor person is into investing, Bitcoin is as good as any other investment or better. Why? Because a poor person can get some from a faucet for free, or for a small amount of computer labor. He can save up $20, and buy a fraction of a bitcoin. Often, this is difficult for him to do with other kinds of investments.

If bitcoin really starts to take off, those who are hodling now, no matter how small the amount, stand to gain many times over in value. If Bitcoin is going to become a major currency in the world, now is the time to invest, since the past is gone. If Bitcoin goes down, we lose, just like any other investment.

Bitcoin gives poor people an easy chance... especially welfare people who are living high-on-the-hog off what Obama gives them. Bitcoin is way more democratic for these people than they are for the rest of the country.
