Great! I have received the wagering contest prize (mBTC)!
I tried the boost as well, too bad my significant win was a few seconds late after the timer's up.

Anyways, the contest was winnable even for small-time gamers like me. I thought I have to be a millionaire if I want to be up there in the top-10, but it's not the case Smiley

So far, I'm satisfied with this casino (a happy customer), but a few critics: the site seems a bit slow compared to the casino next door, and not all games were playable with the euro amount of the coins. But as long as you guys have Play'nGo, I'll still come back to play Grin

^This is strange...
Even in extreme or very high volatility slots, you will get something after 20 spins. IIRC never (perhaps extremely rare, so I ignored it) in my entire "career" experience such an issue. May I know what provider? Have you checked their RTP level and volatility?
3423  Economy / Economics / Re: Boris is right a second lockdown could cripple UK economy. on: September 21, 2020, 10:37:45 AM
This is how China fights Covid19:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfsdJGj3-jM
Well, from a business perspective:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1eaqYM7-jY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs2po6xwy-c

I believe there are other ways to deal with the spread of COVID19, without having to lock down.
Lockdown is impossible anyway without starving all people to death, and if you want to be treated "humanely."
But the question is such artificial measures needed? Was it effective? Or just let mother nature do whatever it wants to do as since it's an unstoppable natural force at this stage.

IIRC the last interview with a South Korean expert, said that the virus could remain dormant for one month or more in the human body.
3424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: September 21, 2020, 07:14:46 AM
My conclusion on this slot is that when played on minimum bet a whole lot of times the bonus round will come and give you good amount of money and once you upgrade your bet it will be soon gameover.I think this is the case with all Play n Go slots.
Your conclusion should be:
- stop after winning a good multiplier; or
- playing another game after winning a good multiplier.

You had bet on consecutive big multipliers mate, so the chance is pretty slim.

Mystery Reels Megaways
No luck for me, maybe I'll try again later Grin

Yeah, it seems today we have good luck on NoLimit's game. I got 661.7x on Tombstone!

Look, three of top-4 (on this casino) was recorded this afternoon.

Oktoberfest is an old game, one of the oldest from NoLimit afaik. Try Buffalo Hunter, the newest extreme volatility slot which is surely suit your profile lul.
3427  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ben Shapiro Leaves California (taking his business). White flight starting? on: September 18, 2020, 03:28:31 PM
It's nice to be in a place you want, especially if you have businesses that don't have the necessity to stay in one place (usually because of the local market/consumer). Ben Shapiro is one of the lucky dude!

Capitalists will simply get out of the country and invest somewhere else if they see the costs/risks are too high to do business, in other words, capital flight.

That said, capital flight is pretty common, but not all businesses can do that since they have barriers to move. BUT, if the state continues to be mismanaged, they will eventually leave. To be the next Detroit is possible (only in the long run) since we talk about much severe capital flight.
3428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Transparent in it if team behind the coin is anonymous on: September 18, 2020, 03:00:43 PM
Anonymous only applicable to PoW coins that have a fair launch, not ERC tokens where the creator issues x million tokens from thin air. My belief is that anonymous creator/team for non-PoW-fair-launch coins is generally a scam. However, the token price can still pump even if it's a blatant scam. That's the beauty of current crypto market! lul

I have some favorite iSoftbet slots to play, would you like to try it like what you did previously when I show you big payout on Red Tiger slot? Smiley
And what is it? Who knows maybe I can taste more of the 1,000x win Grin
At a glance, the theoretical RTPs aren't that great though, but iSoftBet has a good rating too, even though still far away compared to PNG.

Oh well, I have to play Book of Sheeba or Immortals instead of Book of Dead Cry

Celebration of Wealth
Best of Wealth
Temple of Wealth
Great games! I just tried it and managed to get three small jackpots!
The feel is similar to Pragmatic Play *Chinese* series, but the ability to wager 0.1 EUR is just fantastic for cheap players. Moreover, the volatility isn't brutal Grin
Anyways, admin, I couldn't activate boost (no button present on my screen). Is there any requirement to get the privilege?
3431  Other / Archival / Re: Microstrategy Stock Jumps 9% Following Bitcoin Investment on: September 18, 2020, 01:57:22 PM
SimpleWall.st has placed MicroStrategy red flags and called its shares overvalued. Also, there was a low return on equity.
Agree with the red flag because cash flows from investing activities generally insignificant compared to cash flows from operating activities, especially if they are a software company. Hence, using Bitcoin as a hedge should not affect their bottom line that much (well, except Bitcoin price increase 10x or whatever) -> no price jump.

What they should do is to sell more products, well, since they are already interested in Bitcoin, why not create useful software for trading/Bitcoin community!
3432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys tackle information overload? on: September 18, 2020, 01:40:11 PM
1) General research to find out about any new coins to invest in
Agree this is the most confusing task since new coins/tokens are created on a daily basis. Perhaps you can sort the ANN thread by first post, and utilize coinmarketcap. I'm afraid there is no shortcut to this task since if it's already on the news, then perhaps you have missed the train.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 01:12:13 PM
One more thing that addicts can do is decrease the bet amount. Let's say from $100 to $10 so that it doesn't matter if they play every week. I don't have serious problems with gambling exactly because I wager pennies. Once you get too serious with gambling, all sorts of issues arise exactly like what OP said. Yeah, sometimes people think they can become rich from gambling. Yes, if you own a casino!

So you guys don't have to worry about recession as it's only for a brief period.
3435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Machine Learning and the Death of Accountability on: September 17, 2020, 04:10:05 PM
If ML decides that person A shouldn't be entitled to a credit card or a mortgage, person B shouldn't be considered for a job role, person C should be investigated by the police... then we only see these outputs, we have no way of unravelling how the machine reached these decisions, and so no way of determining whether the decisions were justified. That's what I meant by the death of accountability.
If this is only your concern, then simply put code to log every decision path, and you will be able to read the "accountability."

I feed your raw data into an ML black box. The computer decides to block your access to all gambling sites. Because this is ML, there is no human-devised algorithm that we can consult to determine why you were blocked.
Up to this moment, there is no "computer decides" in the real world. The computer isn't responsible for anything, but the company (or the creator) is. Even if the company uses AI to decide, they will still be held accountable and have to answer all the questions. Suppose the algorithm devised by the company harms a manly wealthy man. He can always sue the company.
3436  Economy / Economics / Re: Boris is right a second lockdown could cripple UK economy. on: September 17, 2020, 03:42:09 PM
I bet after the second lockdown (if implemented), there will be the third, fourth, and so on. Lockdown doesn't work except the military strictly disallows people to get out or get shot on sight. And after all the hassle and obvious massive economic problems, it takes only one zombie to infect the people.

I think Boris's decision wasn't mainly motivated by the economy, but just common sense and for liberty reason.
3437  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Machine Learning and the Death of Accountability on: September 17, 2020, 02:24:55 PM
This presents other issues. For example, the connection dropping, or someone sitting just out of shot feeding the pupil the correct answers.
Sorry, I forgot to follow this discussion because of too much gambling problem Grin
The issues you mention above are about the execution or implementation problems, so there are ways to reduce the risk so that it becomes insignificant. These problems will always there in any programs, no matter how careful your strategic planning was.

I see the problem is more about the formulation phase (or called fundamental flaws), why they decided to use such mechanism, i.e., AI for predicting the exam results, and take the prediction like the real results. Yes, I'm skeptical because I learned assembly and 8051, so my view about computer is still just a "calculator."

Let's compare this to a simulation to predict football (soccer) matches. AI can utilize big data (as big as it wants), using historical match results, weather, health report, training report, etc., and my belief is that the prediction won't be accurate. The real deal is the actual football match, or in this case, the real exam.
