3421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 06, 2021, 11:16:37 PM
Arsenal's main goalkeeper Bernd Leno is expected to leave in January. He is still 29 years old now and he can be counted as young for a goalkeeper. Actually, he is not a bad goalkeeper but it is true that he made simple mistakes from time to time. But I don't know if it is the right choice for Arsenal as they won't have any substitute goalkeeper when Leno leaves. They will have only Ramsdale. And if he gets injured or a punishment, they will have really problematic days. In case Leno leaves, they must sign a goalkeeper to fill his place immediately.
I really do not know why Leno is making the most of his present situation, yes every player wants to play every single game, but it does not mean if that's not forthcoming, you just throw in the towel and leave the club, Leno has been Arsenals number one goalkeeper for sometime now, and even at the beginning of this season, he was their first choice, so he has only been benched for just a couple of matches, so I don't really see the reason for the fuss and trying to leave the club.

I really don't know which club he intends to go to, but honestly I think he should stay at the Emirates and fight to regain his number one position. Having said that, if Leno leaves, Ramsdale wouldn't be their only goalie, they'll definitely go into the market and purchase a back up goalkeeper, or promote one of their academy keepers.
3422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Two Top New Projects That I Think Will Have Potential on: October 06, 2021, 10:26:06 PM
Speed is the name of the game if these two projects are true to what they are promising then we have two giant killers coming up Be sure to join their respective telegram channel so you don't miss updates, how to claim and buy their token.
But we know very well that many of these projects do not live up to their promises in the long run, and it is much more risky to invest in them cause one isn't sure if they'll turn out good or if they are basically just another pump and dump coin on the market, unlike Ethereum that is more or less established. There have been many projects in the past that people taught would do better than Ethereum, but it turned out not to be so, I'm not saying this coins will fail, I'm just pointing out the risks people could face when they choose such projects, but like you said in the OP, they obviously should do their own research and make their choice.

Op's account was reported for plagiarism here, so he was most likely banned for that, and from the evidence, it looks like a real clear cut case of plagiarism on purpose, not a mistake, not forgetting to put a link, not a member a with a fair or good track record of good contributions to the forum, or anything that could prolly give OP a chance whatsoever.
I have no other job apart from following the bounty on this forum, I'm just looking for a bite of rice to eat and survive.
That's definitely not a good thing to do and that's prolly why you plagiarized, it's much better if you get a job in RL than basically solely relying on unreliable bounties for survival, that's not to say the forum cares if you want to survive through it, but then do so by not breaking any of it's rules, which you did.
but I'm not very familiar with the proper forum rules.
Don't you think that can suffice if you're a newbie, but from your profile, you've owned this account since 2017 (4 years now), definitely you ought to be conversant with the rule of plagiarism if not anything else.
3424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would it be poor taste to translate existing posts into other languages? on: October 05, 2021, 08:33:02 PM
I am thinking of putting some of my posts into the language boards like German and Arabic.
AFAIK, most of the posts that gets translated from English to other local languages are more often than not, informative posts and guides that are actually very useful for users on the forum, check this thread for example: help me translate my best posts in your local board. The whole reason of wanting to translate a post is cause it's pretty good and you'll want other users who are active in the local boards or who cannot boast of a strong command of the English language to actually benefit from such posts, hence it's translated into their local language.

Having said that, op going through your post history, without the slightest intention to spite you, I actually can't see any post that really should be translated into more languages, and thus if you go ahead trying to translate most of the current posts you have, it could be seen as spamming, it's much better you concentrate on learning and garnering more crypto/forum knowledge, so sometime later, your posts could actually be what people would want to translate to their local languages.
3425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 05, 2021, 05:04:27 PM
They have to get rid of dependence because next season Kane will leave the club in my opinion. They will only have Son and their attacking system will be worse with only Son. In Premier League, this season we see another Korean player is shining, Hwang Hee Chan.

Is it crazy to buy him and combine him with Son, as a replacement for Harry Kane?

4 appearances and 3 goals for Wolves
I don't think Spurs will be looking the way of Hwang if they are to sell Kane, I mean, I know Hwang has been playing well in the last couple of matches, he scored good goals against Watford and Newcastle respectively, but he is yet to prove himself, the season is still very long and he could flop sooner or later, or he could not, and even if he stays great till the end of the season, it's just one season, and he could prolly be a "one season wonder".

What I basically mean is that the risk is going to be much for Spurs to buy such player, and considering the fact they are definitely going to sell Kane for a huge sum of money (that's if they sell him), thus you'll expect them to spend at least a chunk of that in replacing him, through buying a very good and renowned striker that has been scoring goals for many seasons now. That being said, I wish Hwang all the best.
3426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Two strong policies to save your being scam on: October 04, 2021, 09:37:21 PM
I know that there are many scammers out there trying to bait newbies as they have the advantage compared to the newbies that had no experience in marketing and trading.
I know newbies may not be so knowledgeable about the network, but I'm afraid, many of the scams that happen is not as a result of that, but basically stems from people's avarice and their thoughts of getting rich quick through crypto. I mean, I'm pretty sure many people would not fall for the crypto scams they do if it was their traditional Fiat currencies that was used by the scammers, that basically just exposes what quite a lot of people view the network as, a place were they can make quick money and leave, return after a while and do the same, and keep repeating that, but (un)fortunately, it does not work that way. Since many have taken that part and decided not to garner any understanding of the network, it's security protocols, risks concerns, modus operandi of scammers, etc, then more often than not, they'll continually lose their funds to scammers.
3427  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 03, 2021, 12:01:06 PM
The thing is, now that mass adoption of Bitcoin hasn't come yet, one cannot totally evade hodling fiat, it's not just possible, no matter how much you 'hate' fiat, you must hold some of it for basic stuffs/needs, thus that means you'll still have to convert some percentage of your Bitcoin to fiat every now and then. I have actually never blamed anyone for selling some of their BTC, if you sell your Bitcoin cause you want to buy one thing or the other you love or wish to own, then that's fine, and you do not have to regret if the price appreciates higher than what it was when you sold, Bitcoin would always continually appreciate irrespective of when you intend to sell, so you'll always see a higher price. I can only fault one for selling their Bitcoin cause of they lack believe in the network, likening it to a pump and dump coin, cause if you have done your research very well, you'll definitely not lose believe in the network, so the mistake is definitely on you.

Having said that, for people who earn in Bitcoin for rendering one skill or service, then it's understandable if they have to convert their BTC to fiat regularly when they have needs in RL to settle, but if you earn all in fiat, it's not really wise to immediately convert everything into Bitcoin, only to have to change back to fiat every now and then, it is much better to delimit a percentage to Bitcoin investment and keep the rest in fiat for on the spot and RL spending.
3428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Frequently Ask Questions(FAQ) & Answers about cryptocurrency scam. on: October 03, 2021, 10:08:23 AM
Anyway, does anyone suggest this might be good if this topic must be on a pinned/sticky thread?  So that newbies will aware upon visiting here.
I second this idea, and I also had the same thought upon reading the OP, actually the OP contains majority of the questions newbies like to ask, and it's basically the aspects they are not so sure of what to do or the action to take, thus if this is a pinned thread, they will prolly not need to ask these questions over and again, as it'll basically just be at their disposal upon visiting this board. I don't know if they admins will consider this necessary, maybe cause most of this newcomers may prolly not even read it if it's sticked and even if they do, they'll still ask the questions nonetheless, making the pinned thread somewhat useless.
3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto misinformation is turning into an issue for people new to the game. on: October 03, 2021, 08:58:06 AM
IA friend of mine who is semi-new to this called me a couple weeks ago frantic, telling me that he had seen a prediction about some random token and told me that he might invest in it if the returns were real. He asked me if he should go for it, and I told him that he looked alot like a scam project.
This is your friend just basically trying to "get rich quick", and it's not really something unusual with crypto newcomers, every now and then there is one newbie or the other, who knows absolutely nothing about cryptocurrency, but views it as a lottery to big wealth, but the thing is, more often than not, such people end up not making any ROI whatsoever, but just loss of funds, either through wrong investment or scams.

The issue somewhat still stems from misinformation, many of this people were not taught properly on what actually crypto is, how to use it, it's risk concerns, coins that are actually worth buying, etc, they were instead given the impression that it is so easy to make ROI with even little or no effort, looking at crypto users who actually follow the right part and are tutored by the right people, they hardly make these 'popular' mistakes, and in the long run, they make great profits to show for their patience and desire to learn.
3430  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance exchange KYC update on: October 03, 2021, 08:40:53 AM
is this the end for those who still trade and withdraw without KYC verification?
Yes, I believe many Binance users would rather comply to their KYC verification procedure, than to stop using the exchange outrightly, I know this decision is going to be somewhat difficult for users who want to uphold their privacy and make sure it is not exposed with a possibility of it ending up in the black market, but to be fair with Binance, they have to follow regulatory bodies instructions and we all know the government wants to try as much as possible to keep track of crypto users, and they can do that through centralized exchanges, at least to an extent. It is what it is, and if you're a Binance user, whether you want to comply with the compulsory KYC requirements or not, remember never to store your funds in an exchange wallet, that's were majority of the risk is.
3431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 02, 2021, 09:42:51 PM
...Sadly, the match ended with a draw result. I believe many people will blame Ole again because he didn't put CR7 and Pogba as the starter. Well, Ole should evaluate his strategy seriously. I don't know why Manchester United has experienced some bad results lately. But I think someone who must be responsible for these bad results, is Ole.
The season is really long and there are so many matches to be played and for a team like Manchester United with a really good squad depth, there is bound to be rotation, no player can play every game, or else they run the risk of getting fatigued pretty early in the season, I see nothing wrong in Ronaldo sitting on the bench, he may want to play every game, but let's be honest, with his age, it's not just possible. There was actually nothing wrong with Ole's lineup today, maybe his strategy/tactics was not right, or maybe his boys just didn't do enough, but as for the lineup, they possess enormous quality individually to put Everton away, but they didn't.
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 02, 2021, 09:54:14 AM
Just saw this while browsing the net, can I get your opinions on this.
Of course the red card will be rescinded, just as there have been a few incidents were referees give red cards to players for a dangerous tackle, only for VAR to review the challenge and deem it not too dangerous and therefore not deserving of a red card, thus the referee changes his decision to yellow, I've seen that a couple of times since VAR was introduced.

So that's the same situation here, the goal has already been chalked off, meaning how the player celebrated no longer counts, and as such the second yellow (red card) will be reversed as well.
3433  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese loans leaves many countries in "hidden debts" on: October 02, 2021, 07:13:56 AM
It's not hidden debts, both countries that participates in the loan are aware of them and the disadvantaged one knows that they're going in a bad debt but they still go in because they're blinded by progress.
I don't think you read the link to the source in the op, these debts aren't called hidden cause the both parties are unaware, but because of the method and terms of handing out the loans which makes it difficult to report or to record, thus many of this sort of Chinese loans goes unreported to the rest of the world and also to agencies in charge of reporting and keeping track of such loans like the 'World banks debtor reporting system".

Researchers found that these nations’ debt obligations to China are significantly larger than international research institutions, credit ratings agencies or intergovernmental organizations estimate
3434  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese loans leaves many countries in "hidden debts" on: October 01, 2021, 08:38:27 PM
Yes, China is very bad, but what about the borrowers?
Obviously the borrowers cannot be excused of any blame, the thing is, majority of this 'debtor countries' are all run by corrupt governments, and I believe China are fully aware of this fact, this loans more often than not wouldn't be utilized completely for the good of the country, meaning some individuals would be personally pocketing chunks of this money, at the end of the day, the loans wouldn't have provided any visible development and it becomes somewhat impossible for them to pay back. It is at this stage the Chinese government thus exploits the country the way they decide due to their inability to pay back the loan.
3435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 01, 2021, 08:20:31 PM
But their games against Atalanta might not end like this. Atalanta are one of the good teams in this season. And they are the leader in the group also. Manchester United must work hard to start playing like they were playing before the recent poor form.
Manchester United struggled in their first two group stage games, losing one and managing to win the other, and their next game isn't going to be any different as I can also predict them struggling against Atalanta which is a very attacking team, Manchester United will prolly not win that game and that will mean they will be in a lot of problems, a position that they ordinary should not be in. When the draws were made, it was looking like it is going to be a smooth run for United in the group stage, but they now look like they may end up in a tight position to qualify from the supposed easy group.
3436  Other / Meta / Re: What is the main reason you don't come to this website more often? on: October 01, 2021, 07:07:14 PM
Because I cant find the threads I'm looking for. I learnt the basic of cryptocurrencies but cant go deeper as I cant find any guideline from here. There are resources here but I cant find them for my next step.
AFAIK, this is somewhat the best place you can get knowledge about any aspect of cryptocurrency, it's either you're not searching properly for the relevant threads that you need or you're just not active enough on the forum. Use the search option to easily locate the threads you're looking for, and I'm pretty sure you'll find them, and even if you don't, then create your own threads and ask questions about what you need.
3437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 01, 2021, 07:01:41 PM
Chelsea needs to win
They really need to win, they have lost their last two games without scoring a single goal and recording just one shot on target across the two matches, that's indeed a bad form for them and I'm pretty sure the team must be low in confidence at the moment, Tuchel must raise the spirits of his players before this game. And the thing is, I'm sure Chelsea would have hoped for a much easier opponent so they could easily bounce right back to form, Southampton are a really decent side, and they have been really good this season, it's a must win for Chelsea, but there is a huge possibility that they may not win it, and that will put the team and their manager under even more pressure and scrutiny.
3438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 30, 2021, 11:27:36 PM
Manchester United fans are quite optimistic against Everton now that their squad is confident of a win with Villarreal and can beat Everton in what will be the Premier League game this week.
It is actually not the game of the week, Manchester City face Liverpool at Anfield this weekend as well, and that surely is the game of the week. But talking about United, I'm pretty sure they will be brimming with confidence after their win against Villarreal this mid-week, and it's not just cause they won, but the matter in which they did, a last gasp winner, it shows the team are starting to believe in themselves and that's the sort of attitude they have been lacking for a while now. Everton will pose a different and a difficult test for United and if they are not careful, they'll struggle to come out with any point from that game.

City v Liverpool is the game to watch this week, and City usually struggle anytime they come to the red half of Merseyside, but their last outing at anfield was a successful one for peps boys, can they continue in that form and beat Liverpool twice in a row at anfield, a feat I don't think they have ever managed to do.
3439  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese loans leaves many countries in "hidden debts" on: September 30, 2021, 09:13:52 PM
I don't know how relevant this information was. I do know that both the federal and state government has the right borrow money but when it has to do with another country I don't think the state can do it without the federal not knowing about it.
That is exactly what the post says and if you read the link in the OP, you'd understand even better, these loans aren't collected without the federal government being aware, just that it isn't directed to central government institutions, thus most of it goes underreported in the eyes of most of the world.
Quote
These debts often do not show up on countries’ government balance sheets, but many are guaranteed by their governments, blurring the lines between private and public debt and creating fiscal challenges for countries.

the Chinese government never forces any of the developing countries to ask for assistance and I believe they understand very well what the deal is involved.
Why did still go for it? It means the government of the developing countries that require this loan also profit from the loan they got from the Chinese.
The Chinese belt and road initiative is designed to help/provide assistance for other countries, and the Chinese government knows fully well that most of this countries are actually in need of these loans, thus I find it extremely petty that the Chinese government have ulterior motives to put their borrowers into a debt trap and either tap from their resources or just basically out of lack of choice get their support in economic and political matters, it doesn't matter if they actually benefitted from the loan, but it's the concealed intention behind giving out the loan in the first place that's the bigger problem.
3440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 30, 2021, 06:17:24 PM
Koeman said Barcelona's future is good. But under his leadership, Barcelona is deteriorating further. They have lost against Bayern Munich, as expected. With such an inexperienced team, it is not possible to win against a strong and experienced team. But yesterday they lost 3-0 to Benfica, proving how weak they are this season. Now their only future is the Europa League.
It's actually going to be a disaster if Barcelona fail to qualify for the knock-out stage and drop to the Europa league, It's going to be a sight we actually haven't seen before, but to be honest, there is actually a possibility that Barcelona would drop out to the Champions league, they are out of sorts and are anything but impressive, there is a clear lack of quality in their side and if they do not do anything in the next transfer window, then they'll be down for a very long time.

Koeman isn't even the problem for me, I think any manager in charge of Barcelona at the moment wouldn't do very well, the person will definitely struggle, the problem stems from the board, the hierarchy at the club looks to be in all sorts of problems that needs solution.
