3421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 13, 2022, 09:58:32 AM
In this thread I share my opinion. I know 2 types of gambling. Sports and casino. I have both types experience. At first I started to play casino like roulette, dice, ludu. Roulette was my favourite casino table. One day I won 7k usd on roulette table. But I couldn't retain it. I lost all the usd in 10 minutes and day by day my lossing amount increased. Sometimes casino table was so tough. Whatever I bet all lost. No sequence maintained. If I won a day, I would loss 5 days at a stretch. It seemed all was fixed. I shifted to sports betting. I started to follow biggest football league like English premier League, la Liga, french Liga etc. Researched the teams statistics and placed bet. Gradually I covering my losses. What's your experience?

Roulette, dice, slots and similar games are purely based on luck, so we can't say that we are guaranteed to lose playing those games. We are more likely to lose than win, that's true, but since there are around 1.6 billion people in the world engaged in gambling activity, thousands of them can be winning for years in a row, and this is what's happening actually, and that's why gambling is so popular - people hear stories from the winners and they want to be like them.

With that said, of course, if you are smart and hard working, you better try to apply your skills to sports betting, and there's a non zero chance that you'll earn money through your skills with that activity.

[...]
Don't worry about it, just contact @sorsis when it comes to withdrawing funds and your issue will be resolved immediately (or you have a question).

The thing is that this is not a public matter, and as you remember, neither from the players of the previous poker series from anyone else, Betnomi did not demand KYC and did not impose restrictions on the withdrawal of funds (due to jurisdiction). You should understand that Betnomi are simply obliged to establish legal standards in order to comply with this or that regulation, but this does not prevent them from being extremely loyal.  Wink

Thank you for this amazing explanation! I feel much better now. Smiley Like many of you guys here, I've been waiting for this Series for many long months, and when I thought I wouldn't be able to participate it was literally killing me.

Of course I could pick something like Betwrong1 and proceed, but if it's just a bug, I'd rather keep my name.

But it turned out there's more. I decided to read Terms and Conditions carefully and here's what I found there:
-snip

It happened to me as well, it seems either they forgot to wipe out the previous data from the old site so it got exported to the new site hence we cant use our usual nickname because it was already 'registered' via the old site or they cant 'delete' the old database for the poker network because its probably a 3rd party poker network

Aside from the restricted countries issue, I think Betnomi is pretty lenient to these things as long as you dont really break any rules or trying to cheat in their site

Thanks! I see now. Smiley Just was worried someone could impersonate me and be asking for loans on the site, or something.

So, I registered under Betwrong1 in the poker section, and going to play a freeroll in 5 minutes. Wish me luck. Smiley
3424  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: January 12, 2022, 12:46:12 PM
Big win for sportsbet.io sponsored Southampton tonight. The Saints smashed Brentford 4-1 at St Mary’s.
Steve & the boys will be happy with that one. With the 3 points it takes them from 15th to 11th which is 13 points away from the relegation zone. Looking like a comfortable place to be as we enter 2022.

What a game! I can't speak for Brentford fans, but since I was rooting for Southampton, to me it was a perfect entertainment. The 1st goal in just 5 mins since start. Then Brentford scored in the 24th minute and that brought some suspense to the show. 1-1. Then the Saints scored another goal in the 37th minute. 2-1. Will it be equalized by Brentford this time again? Nah. As you know, it wasn't. Smiley 4-1! Also I won my 1 mBTC free bet I got from this competition, cos I bet on Southampton.  Smiley

One little question, guys. I opened my Rewards on Sportsbet and saw this

Honestly, I have no idea why it is there Smiley, probably from this competition

but, anyways, it looks like I can't use it, right? And my question is, if I by chance win $100,000 in USDT will the same happen? Can I improve my situation somehow?
3425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teaching your kids to gamble. on: January 12, 2022, 11:45:00 AM
~ If your kids or any underaged around you becomes too curious about gambling, educate them and let them know the perils of underaged gambling and why it is for adults, answer their questions and clear their doubts, so they don't go find out about gambling themselves.
~

It sounds like a perfect solution, but, in reality kids don't understand phrases like "for adults only". Or, rather they "understand" those words in their own way, meaning, it makes them want to try it even more. The expression "Forbidden fruit is the sweetest" applies to kids too, whether we like it or not.

Imo, kids should be told the truth: you are more likely to lose than win. If explained the right way, it will make them play other than gambling games, where if they lose, they atleast don't lose their money.
3426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: January 12, 2022, 10:00:16 AM
In the end, both games got to draws, with a PUSH in Spain but unfortunately, Lyon and PSG could only bring us 15 points. That makes it 2 busts in 2 days with just 1 point too much or too short!

Today we have a different special in African Cup of Nations!

Soccer Blackjack #385: Morocco v Ghana
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/morocco-ghana-61db16f772c431dfd8aa4efb

And FA Cup also now
Soccer Blackjack #386: Manchester United v Aston Villa
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/manchester-united-fc-aston-villa-fc-61dc3026fdaccc82c465e5df

Soccer Blackjack #387:Nigeria v Egypt
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/nigeria-egypt-61dc39dafdaccc860b99980f

Soccer Blackjack #388:Southampton v Brentford
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/southampton-fc-brentford-fc-61dd52b4d3662247f0b2acd9

Soccer Blackjack #389: Barcelona v Real Madrid
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/fc-barcelona-real-madrid-61ddc0e5fdaccc5e9090308f

I managed to bet on 3 of them: Morocco v Ghana; Nigeria v Egypt and Southampton v Brentford, and lost all of those bets, 3 out of 3. Something like this rarely happens in our "Soccer Blackjack" game. Normally you have your money back with at least 1 out of 3 games. But all my stakes were minimal this time, so, no big deal.

Also, Southampton v Brentford actually made me happy because I placed my 1 mBTC free bet, won from this competition, on Southampton, and won good money with that

Let's hope Barcelona v Real Madrid brings us BlackJack. I bet 2 times more than usually. Fingers crossed. Smiley

Today I have successfully registered on betnomi.com, but when I went to Poker section and tried to register there I got this message

Of course I could pick something like Betwrong1 and proceed, but if it's just a bug, I'd rather keep my name.

But it turned out there's more. I decided to read Terms and Conditions carefully and here's what I found there:

It just so happens that I actually live in one of those places. Theoretically I could use VPN(although I don't use it), but then I read in the Withdrawals section:

So, I guess I wouldn't be able to withraw my funds anyway.

This is very frustrating because I want to play in the Series so badly, and now my only hope is that there is a mistake in the Terms and Conditions, and if they were updated I would be able to play.

NOTE: I played in the previous Bitcointalk Poker Series on Betnomi and I won one of them, and then I won a bit more playing poker, and I did successfully withdraw $700 from the site 3 months ago.
3429  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: January 11, 2022, 02:10:44 PM

Yeah. Gambling platforms are constantly growing and we will see new ones every day. Therefore, we should always be aware of what we can expect before placing any online bets and try to do our homework before we begin our gambling journey.
There are numerous websites online where we can read casino reviews, but this forum is the best place on the Internet for this type of discussion because it is open to the public, and as such, everyone will be aware of any issues or questions that may be present before beginning to play on any of these platforms. There are thousands of users on this forum, and even the largest crypto casinos do not want to risk their reputation by associating with a name that has a bad reputation.

There is no way of knowing how's the info on those review sites moderated. That's why this forum is the best, we know that any casino have the ability to moderate their own thread, and that's it. They can be deleting bad reviews in one thread only, while there are thousands places where those reviews can be posted, and they can do nothing about it. It's a pity that the vast majority of online gamblers still don't know about this place and, what is more important, how it works. If we found out how to bring it to their(crypto gamblers) attention, this place would flourish even more.

Hello
according to your customer support we can't delete or change our phone number in our account during 10years !!!  Shocked
Is it true? What people can do if they change their phone number in real life and don't have access to the former one anymore?
That's not user/customer friendly at all...

Interesting. I didn't know about it. Now I see, indeed, you can't edit lines with your username, email and phone number. I think this should be changed, unless there is a really good reason for keeping it like it is, we don't know about.

Guys, anyone had a chance of spinning this FortuneJack's Wheel of Fortune?

All the options look pretty good. Smiley

Do you often try new games for example that you have never played? I saw some of your wins in games I've never seen while I only play games that I usually play or new games from providers that I know , sometimes it's a bit boring because I just see the same symbol almost every day. Any recommendations for games that you can play apart from pragmatic, Hacksaw, Relax gaming , Nolimit City and PlayNgo ? Looks like I need a new one in the new year too.

Yeah, although I have a couple of favorites, like Money Train 2 by Relax Gaming, Book of Dead by Play'N Go and Book of Shadows by No Limit City, I do try new slots from time to time. If you normally play high volatility slots, like I do, you can see how relaxing it is to play low volatility ones for some time: it feels like you win all the time! Smiley Then you are bored to death by those "wins" that are either only a little bit higher than your bet or even lower than your bet, which happens most of the time, and you return to the good ol' high volatility beasts.

As of what slots I would recommend to try out, those are: Legion X by NoLimit City(Max payout 31,000x);  Black Mamaba and Wild Blood 2  by Play'n Go(5,000x for both of them)... and, since you are asking about less known providers, then it's Stamp Wild by Green Jade, Cat Clans and Beautiful Bones by Microgaming, Fruit Zen by Betsoft(can't promise profits, but relaxation is guaranteed Smiley )

However, if the promoters see a lot of money in it, it's possible that they will try to find some way to put them together.

They surely will, if a lot of money can be earned from that. I think we'll see a fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in 2022. It's gonna be a great show, and I even know what one of the posters of the fight may look like. Smiley

I think in the end both fighters will agree to whatever rules because they will be offered big monetary rewards, both of them, regardless of who wins.
3433  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 11, 2022, 09:21:52 AM
You know, I think of it sometimes, and currently, for example, I'm getting reward points instead of lottery tickets for my FREE BTC rolls with this option here checked
But actually like it that I'm still getting some lottery tickets with WoF spins(I have 451 tickets at the moment) because with zero tickests I'd have zero chance of winning something good in case of big luck. And I want to have that chance.
That's the exact same logic which I used a few weeks back and disabled the lottery tickets option.
We get it from the WoF spins anyway so why to waste the RP that we get from the free roll  Grin

Yep. I think about lottery in this way: it is better to have some tickets than to have none, but trying to increase your win chance from, say, 0.01% to 0.05%, or something, through buying more tickets - count me out. Smiley

I am setting a target of 50 spins from WoF and I will spin them all together when I accumulate 50 spins.
All the BTC that I receive from the WoF spin will be used for the monthly price betting on BTC price.
Let's see how that goes.

This is an interesting experiment. Please share the results afterwards. Only one suggestion, if you don't mind. When you have your 50 WoF spins collected, don't spin them all at once, I mean don't click "play all" here

I tried it and it is so boring: you lose all the fun of spinning that Wheel of Fortune and expecting something big each time. Smiley
3434  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-01-06] Newsweek: Bitcoin hash rate affected by Kazakhstan internet outage on: January 10, 2022, 02:00:36 PM
I have my own theory on why the hashrate wasn't actually affected by Kazakhstan internet shutdown. In such a country who do you think can afford mining on a large scale? Right, those who are in power, also their close friends and relatives. The Internet wasn't shut down for them. They simply kept mining while all the other people were deprived of the connection to the world. What applies to ordinary people does not apply to the elite. It's a common practice in such countries, and the only right response to that is a revolution.
3435  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 10, 2022, 12:07:05 PM
~ I am sure many more types of marketing strategies that will be more immoral from what we have already seen.

Immoral or not, it depends on how we see it. There are laws prohibiting unfair or deceptive practices in advertisement, but they are different in different countries. And is showing your real wins on slots unfair or deceptive? I don't think so. As with any other advertisement, it is we who can make it harmful for us, not the ad itself. Ads are annoying sometimes, and in other times they make us buy unnecessary things, but the world would be less funny without them. And these big wins on slots, in particular, some of them are really fun to watch. Smiley
3436  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: January 10, 2022, 11:23:10 AM
~
I dont really recognize nor even believe with those experts even into those billionaires which do really love traditional investments and do keep on having those negative inputs or insights towards bitcoin.

There are fewer and fewer of them over time. I don't know who except Warren Buffett is talking negatively about Bitcoin today? Those who used to be  enemies of BTC are investing in it today. Even younger folks from the Buffet gang I'm sure holding some Bitcoin just in case. Smiley

Some might have made out some u turn but most of them does have the same mindset.About those people who do make out those positive sentiments then let them bet. We do have our own views and sentiments about this market whether you are a billionaire or millionaire then no one could able to predict the precise call on where those prices would be flying on.

Yeah, only never bet more than you can afford to lose, or you can find yourself on the place of some Robert Kiyosaki's followers. Whatever investment strategy you choose, you should never risk money that you may need in the nearest future.
3437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: January 10, 2022, 10:52:07 AM
Just curious, what was response by Stake Bitcointalk representatives aka Steve, Stunna?  Didn't find the proper response by OP, hope all mentioned issues are fixed. Btw, he can post in Stake forum too..
Yep, he could post up on these places.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2072589.0
https://stakecommunity.com/

We didnt really able to see those admins/owners responses when it comes to this yet it cant really be denied
that they do really have some mistakes on here.
Unfortunately Stake still has not adressed my issue, they ignore me on mail, ignore me on this forum, and they are also ignoring the third party complaint. Don't know what to do.  Huh

I can't tell you what to do, but being in your place I would read all the replies in this thread and discuss them with someone who helps you to end your addiction. We are not certified specialists here, so all our adviсes and suggestions should be checked by a specialist.

Imo, giving money back to a self-excluded gambling addict would be a wrong move. What you need much more than money on a gambling site account is recovery from your illness. I sincerely wish you to get well soon.
3438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: January 10, 2022, 10:09:26 AM
~Fear is a difficult feeling to control, usually when it comes to money it is something that is difficult for many, especially when they realize that their money falls in value compared to other currencies, of course when BTC falls in price The other altcoins suffer a lot, and this is something that everyone knows, but when you have all the money invested in BTC you just have to be patient, because if it was bought before the last ATH it is obvious that at any moment it will go into a bullish trend and you will have better returns, investing in BTC is a WIN = WIN factor.

Through the history of Bitcoin every ATH was always surpassed by another one, sooner or later.  Even after a pretty long lasting bear market we always saw recovery, growth, and then one ATH after another in the end. Of course, this trend can't last forever, and one fine day we'll see an ATH that will never be surpassed, but at the moment we are far from saturation. Imo, it can happen after $200k for 1 BTC, but not earlier.
3439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: January 08, 2022, 01:39:07 PM
Can't believe I missed another one haha! Came in only to take Spurs/Chelsea, but the Besiktas - Antalyaspor game ended at 21 points. Now playing extra time as the regular time match was 1-1. Well done to whoever took it, first one of 2022 in a Turkish cup game!
~

Another one, damn I missed it haha. We keep hitting them don’t we, good ol’ Turkish games. You can always rely on them for lots of corners.
~

I'm so happy I didn't missed this one! Smiley Maybe my bet size was a mistake(too small), but, as we can see from
jeremypwr's post
this game is profitable, so it's always better to place something than nothing at all.

~
Only my team lost to Chelsea last night so that takes some of my happiness away.
~

I'm not big fan of Chelsea, but something told me that they were going to win, so I placed my free bet, 1 mBTC, on their win, and I won! Here's my settled bets for both of them, Blackjack  and this one:

I consider it a good start of the year for me. Smiley

I wish all of you guys here to never miss a BlackJack again. Winning it feels so good, regardless of the size of the bet.

~Main place on where most crypto traffic which it would really be always relevant  and would be ideal on making out exposure and the biggest crypto community online yet this had been the origin which it would be understandable on whats its reputation at the moment. The community does really help on each other and when there are some shady services or platforms out there then it would be mainly discuss and if theres some complaints and some accusations then this community are mainly the ones who do make out decisions whether its trusted or not.

This is true. I pity crytpo gamblers who still are not aware of this place, they are missing so much. The Gambling section of this forum has evolved to such a degree that today it's the best place on the Web to find the info on which crypto gambling platforms to play, what games to play and how to deal with various issues. And, like in the OP's case, they'd rather pay you fast than get bad reputation here. Sometimes I wish this forum was promoted on the national TV or something. It would make life of millions of crypto gamblers easier.
