So many merits! We need to create a rank above legendary. Something like "video god", now how can we abbreviate that. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm tempted to have a go myself, well if I can move myself to set up my Ubuntu Studio. The real problem will be in deciding which thread to use for the drama.

I've got a rape recorder that can be used to portray one of the characters. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Had to quote this for justification Oh dear - I can't even claim that was a Freudian slip, and I dare not edit it now, My keyboard doesn't know its Ts from its Rs. The letters have worn off many of the keys, so I'm typing blind. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I'll give 25 sMerits to the first member who creates a decent 10 minute YouTube video of one of the drama threads here. I guess it will need to be 3 or 4 pages long to create enough content.

I've just tried to login using the private Tor window in the Brave browser. I had to complete about 10 Captcha queries in a cloud service, and then I got the login page with another Captcha on it. I went back to a standard Brave window at that point. I don't really see what advantage logging in via Tor would give me. The Brave browser gives me privacy at a basic level, and that is more than enough for my activities here.

To be honest, I'm not going to get involved, I'm more interested in deciding if I should buy some Zilliqa for the Crypto Coin Tree investment club, and I think it is unlikely that any of them have Zilliqua coins that they are willing to sell to me. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Both Lauda and TMAN have been good to me over the years, so if I were to award either of them any trust, it would be positive. I haven't traded with either of them though, so I don't feel that I can do this. I will confess that I haven't read all the Lauda controversy, so my opinion wouldn't be based on any factual information. I believe that TMAN has been involved in a lot of trades and exchanges without any problems, but I haven't been a party to any of them.

I will spend some time reading about the new structure, but first I need to understand the main purpose of the system. I've always assumed it was about trading and exchanges, and that it was a guide to decide who should go first in an exchange, or who can be trusted to run an investment project or escrow service. It seemed to be a bit like a credit rating. I had a bad credit rating because I didn't need any credit for about 20 years, and that included the use of a credit card. I decided to do something about it, and I got myself a credit card, and they keep increasing the limit. This has improved my credit rating quite a bit. I thought of the trust system here as similar - if you didn't trade, then you would probably have a rating of zero.
The system seems to be used for a bit more now, and I can understand some aspects. For example - merit abuse, account trading, and content theft for posting are all indications of low moral fibre in my opinion. Obviously in these cases one should approach trading with the member with a certain amount of caution, and negative trust serves as a warning. I'm a bit concerned about the use of trust to attempt to suppress opinions, or to punish those with contrary opinions, but that is an issue that is discussed in another thread.
I'm not a great supporter of attacks, unless it is for self-defence. I think encouragement and reward is more productive. Merits are an obvious reward in the current structure, but can we use the trust system as an encouragement for consistent good posting to support the forum? My initial though is that posting has nothing to do with trust. So if I participate in the new trust ranking, how can I use that to encourage quality members. I think this may be especially relevant for newer members, and a positive trust comment can always be removed if they stray from the straight and narrow,

Can somebody start a book so that we can bet on the hot topic of 2019
- Merits - this seems to be in a decline at the moment - The Trust system - could be the new star topic - Lauda - Is this a bare topic, or just a load of bull? - Bitcoin - there doesn't seem to be much talk about this here, but will it revive as a topic?

The merit I awarded is not for you post, but I've given you half a merit fr each f two other posts you made. Congrats, I think you may be the first member to be awarded half merits. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Please continue to contribute here.

It all sounds too complex to me. I'll continue to avoid using it, and I'll make my own judgements from my perception of activities in the forum.

A few days ago I put £102 into a Coinbase account for the club, and I opened a couple of positions. One was at £2,998, and that has triggered at what appears to have been the day's low, So the current position of the club is -
Assured Tokens issued: 10200 Bitcoin held: 0.015 Sterling held: £1.99 Open buy order: Bitcoin 0.02 @ £2.751
I believe that we are still in a bear market, but with periods of volatility. I may open a sell position to take a short term profit during this period.
I know this is pretty small beer, but I'm enjoying the learning process at the moment.
I've also picked up 14.25 in BAT, but part of that is for Fit to Talk, so I may keep that to cover costs. I've started the shop, and added a couple of domain names to it. If they sell through the club, then 10% of the sale price will go towards paying a dividend to club members for their investments.
I've opened a Dash wallet, but I'm still reviewing investment in this.

I kept changing the fee, so I didn't send it. If I get the chance tomorrow, I'll have a go at changing things, but I might have to fry another pizza instead. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I tried sending a few Satoshi to my CoinBase account with a 1 Satoshi/Kb fee, It keeps updating the fee to what I assume is a minimum rate. This applies to 0 Satoshi as well.

Don't buy any proprietary drugs. They all have toxic additives, and side effects. Use natural products. For example, if you drink a lot of coffee, and suffer from excessive acid as a result. then adding a pinch of bicarbonate of soda will help to neutralise it. A small pinch will be tasteless, and I have had no side effects from doing this.

Many of us in the Bitcoin Talk community are "web savvy", and we can use this knowledge to help people, and to help to shape political opinion. This was the reason I started the Fit to Talk English project, but we can do more to help people in the communities outside the core of the Internet. One little thing that I am doing for one of the staff members at McDonalds is to post pictures of the balloons she makes. McDonalds sent her on a training course, and I think she is interested in creative balloon making for kids' parties. I've just started to add he balloon pictures, and here are some examples. http://jazzpics.com/index.php?/category/38Do any of use use your web abilities to help people?

I was born in England, and spent most of my early life in and around London, but I wouldn't want to live there now. In recent years I've lived in Oxford, The Cotswolds and Hampshire. So much has changed, especially since Margaret Thatcher and the later globalists started the transfer of wealth and assets out of the country. I'm now a prepper, and looking forward to the rosy future when we have dumped the European Union.

My reference to "market maker" relates to CoinBase Pro. A maker doesn't pay commission, but a taker does. The commission can kill the profit on a narrow spread.
With regards to your second point. A sale at a price point before the top is not a "loss", but simply an unrealised profit. One of the greatest stock market traders ( I forget which one ) was asked to what he attributed his success. His reply was " Selling too soon ".
