True, If the person you tried to trade file a dispute against you then for all you know you can't bring your BTC back to you. I think that if PayPal finds out you trade funds btc to paypal most likely the person with paypal dispute win.

That's why hindi iniencourage ang BTC to Paypal exchange transaction dito sa forum.

Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.msg197267#msg197267

But it doesn't mean na di na talaga pwede mag exchange using paypal, it's all about risk. If you can observe most trusted person dito sa forum is nakikipag exchange parin through paypal with BTC kase nga dun sila nakkipag transact those people na trusted.
If there's a chance na ireverse yung transaction through paypal then red trust is on the way para diyan, iwan ko lang if merong high trusted profile na mag gaganyan except na lang sa mga newbies or ranks below sr members.

Unfortunately, there's no function like that only for ignoring someone's post or someone's PM.

Would you tell/share us more about what really happen?

What exchange you are using? What security measure you are using? such 2fa enabled, sms auth and etc. Do you get any login information on this hacker when he/she logged to your account?

So far and unfortunately, no one can help you here with this issue.

Basta pag coins.ph to coins.ph pala talaga, no more TX ID. Feeling ko same wallet lang din siya or something. Hindi ko alam kung ganun ba ang mga wallet/exchanges.
Kase pag transaction between coinsph to coinsph nangyayari yan off-chain, di mismo sa blockchain network (so walang txid from blockchain record), same din sa coinbase accounts.

Which they used hosted wallets sa ganitong exchanges kaya walang fees pag mag send from coinsph to coinph and similar exchange. Numbers lang sa record nila or sa account ang nagbabago between sa sender and receiver.

Upon seeing your trust page, I wonder if there's a single exchange that will accept your token to be listed on their platform.

3429  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another hack : Dragonex on: March 26, 2019, 12:44:38 PM
The admin added that stolen crypto assets transferred by the hackers to the Huobi and gate.io exchanges have already been blocked.
Somehow, exchanges are the only helpful one with all of the hacks these days regarding of blocking and retrieving funds that were sent to those exchanges since those coins are just useless if it cannot be exchange to fiat.
Only thing is for btc or any coins that has mixers/tumblers to anonymize the coins and transactions.
3430  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] Use this for identifying Scam/Phishing/ websites & exchanges in crypto on: March 25, 2019, 01:05:09 PM
Just to update about the phishing website of the forum, seems the registrar works great and they just hear me out with my report after contacting cloudflare and redirecting me to contact the registrar which is the AbeloHost.

I just received an email from them that they terminate all the IP address connected with the phishing site and now it's down as host error in cloudflare's error 522.
3431  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [HELP] My funds in the blockchain wallet were stolen on: March 25, 2019, 10:18:21 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't blockchain wallet sending an email notification for log in attempt when using different browser/IP? (I received one before) If that's the case and you have not seen any log in attempt email, then:
Yes, that's right but considering the OP's wallet was hacked, it's either the hacker get the login details which is probably wasn't happen in case of OP because he will received the email authentication but it's the seed/recovery seed of the wallet that was compromised, which will not give any notification to Op when there's a transaction happened.
3432  Other / Meta / Re: Reflinks in self moderated, well described topic. on: March 24, 2019, 06:24:45 PM
Main thread won't consist any reflinks. Only description, reflink warning and link to user's posts.
If there's no referral link posted on the thread, then I don't see any violation of forum rules by doing it, but for your request I don't think global mods or your local modS will tolerate such thingS unless ref link posted via PM?

I guess there's some thread with some google sheet of it posted with airdrops yet I don't know if it still updated.
3433  Bitcoin / Wallet software / GreenAddress wallet rebrand to Blockstream Green on: March 24, 2019, 06:11:30 PM
I used green address long time ago but never used it until such time but it still installed on my phone.
I was searching for some mobile wallet in play store and some wallet was recommended first, and it's totally new to me until I open it and I was a bit shocked that there's no install button just uninstall and open, so that means its already installed on my phone.
I check the apps on my phone if the wallet is existing but never saw the same logo as what I see on PS, so I'm thinking that my device is infected, but there's nothing bad happened since then. So, I check the app again in PS, I saw the green word on its name, so I'm thinking its familiar wallet, so by reading its details and see the updated the branding which is they really rebranded the wallet.  Cheesy

I tried to update the wallet and it really looks cool IMO. They have added some features too.

So, to those greenaddress users, how do you react and what are your thoughts about its new branding.

3434  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Android wallets on: March 24, 2019, 05:29:27 PM
how about Electrum? it does have an android version, i have not used it since i have never needed it but it is the same thing developed by same developers as the desktop client so you have the compatibility (like with seeds,...) there too.
you can download it from the website direction while having the option to verify the signature or get it from google play https://electrum.org/#download
I feel like that the android version of electrum is a bit buggy and a bit dull interface.

If you visit Mycelium board, there are some problems reported periodically, but most users still have a positive opinion when it comes to this wallet. They have bug with 0 balance which some users report, and I do not know if this is completely solved.
IMO that issue was solved on its latest version they released this week, though not sure if it still happen to other users.

Why don't you try greenaddress or the rebrand of the wallet blockstream green wallet? It's a good choice too.
3435  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [HELP] My funds in the blockchain wallet were stolen on: March 24, 2019, 04:51:56 PM
That means bitcoin transferred from his wallet but is goes to wrong wallet.
Or the other possible thing happened is, OP pasted the wrong addy which was available in his clipboard and he hasn't checked the addy before transaction execution.
What happened to OP is not a copy-paste malware or just pasted a wrong address. He sent the funds 0.05 BTC to his correct blockchain address 14bPSBSTiwusLJusEJXqmRHkr5VYab7eMA from x wallet. And after 22 minutes the funds on his blockchain wallet sent the earlier received funds to some address that is not associated with OP. So basically, someone got access the account of OP which is the sender and the owner of the address 1GX8hn9VeN4rX2tTJ2Y3i2HoMrDyTFyV9j .

There's nothing OP can do about the recovering of the lost funds, and you have to abandon that account and use another wallet except blockchain. And seems you're a mobile user, you can use electrum as suggested above for desktop or mobile, mycelium is a good choice too, greenaddress or their new rebranded wallet which is called blockstream wallet will do as well.

Just to make sure you have the backup of your recovery seed. But before installing some wallet on your phone make sure you have reset your phone so you will be 100% safe from malware.
3436  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: BTC in electrum on: March 24, 2019, 12:16:20 PM
How does your wallet address looks, I mean is it started with 1 (legacy), 3 (p2sh/nested), or bc1 (native)? Coz it will differ with the derivation path if you have the address that start with 3 and bc1.

Options you should considered to choose when you import your 24 seed on electrum if your wallet address have this initials.
  • 1 = legacy(p2pkh)
  • 3 = p2sh-segwit (pwpkh-p2sh)
  • bc1 = native segwit (p2wpkh)
3437  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Para sa mga merchant na willing tumanggap ng crypto as payments on: March 24, 2019, 11:57:57 AM
Mas ok pa siguro pag mode of payment using cryptocurrency, like sa Lazada or Shopee, may option doon na pwede gumamit ng cryptocurrency pangbayad ng mga binili.
You mean lazada and shoppe is uma'accept na ng bitcoin/crypto payment? Never see any news article in google about this one?

Also, this site is just new, though this is a good move to spread awareness of crypto to those seller/buyer onliner dito sa bansa, pero mas mabuti if kayang ma promote ng owner ang site to huge media outlets or any other platform para mas madami yung users dito and also the legibility ng site regarding sa mga seller or even sa side ng buyer.
3438  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Payment for KYC registration on: March 23, 2019, 01:41:51 AM
When did you received that email? AFAIR they did that months ago.
Yes they did. Idk if they stopped that giveaway for a moment, but what's sure is that the giveaway is (still) open now. I mentioned above that I do have an account in blockchain.com and surprisingly, I got the invitation earlier today. I can confirm that it's the same $25 XLM giveaway
Yeah, I just received that mail yesterday's afternoon on one my emails.

Everything you said is correct. I also was thinking that they offer too small payment to hook anyone on their KYC system. I think such information doesn't even need to be measured.
Whether it's too small or not, still, I will never do that. They don't have any services that requires KYC rather than this giveaway, so why should I? Simple.

I wonder if how many personal information they did collected from those people who doesn't care their privacy.
3439  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is there any statistic of how much traffic approx signature getting? on: March 22, 2019, 02:06:08 PM
IMO managers don't know those statistics not unless if they're using link management platforms such as bitly, goo.gl, and etc. on the signature links. But you could try to ask them.
AFAIR bitsler used goo.gl for stat visits on their signature though it was removed after they changed the signature design.

Or using ?utm_source=bitcointalk will do the work on the link, with the help of google analytics.
3440  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] CODEX EXCHANGE _____________________________________ on: March 22, 2019, 01:06:33 PM
Payment for the 5th week has been sent. TXID https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/d7abada6e7333960e8e089126011f7828efc2298b597fd78f7f90ab40a1e077e

Again, please don't ask repeatedly if when I should send the payment, it's been said already that payment will be sent around the same time (forum time), it might be 2-3 hours late but I can do nothing because I didn't/ will never bring my ledger at work, so the payment will be sent when I'm home.
Thanks for understanding.
