Bitcoin isn't over. It won't be unless people will stop using it. You can choose the fees, last summer the recommended one for me was 0.0019...... And I sent around 5 transactions for that fee, but then I found out you can use a smaller one if you wish.

I think the effect will be a price increase. The last block halving happened last year and the effects will be seen this autumn: price increase is the most important, I'm looking for it to come for so long and can't wait to see if I am right!

In practice there is no difference between bitcoin and real money. If you can shop with credit card you can also shop with bitcoin in the same way. But the main difference arises in technological sub-structures. In terms of innovations they bring, bitcoin has much more superior features than real money.
In particular, blockchain technology will be a structure that we will hear a lot more in the future.
or can be bitcoin has a shape that is more flexible than the real money, which most people use paper money, with bitcoin you can pay instantly and send it anywhere with a very low cost You can not pay instantly with Bitcoin. This is the only problem with payments made with bitcoin. A minimum approval period of 10 minutes is required. Payments you make reach the opposite side after a minimum of 10 minutes. Apart from that, everything in the bitcoin system is almost perfect. This 10 min approval is part of that perfection over time. That totally depends on the fees you choose. I still consider Bitcoin transactions as being instant, because you still receive the money. I was able to send my money to another wallet before the amount was even confirmed in my own one. It becomes usable as soon as you receive it, but for safety reasons it gets confirmed too.

it's exchangeable for USD, it has value and people who are willing to Pay to get it, which is the exact definition of a currency in my book. Money isn't necessarily banknotes or gold, Credit Cards, Gift Cards and PayPal already made that clear, BTC is something that has a certain value therefore money.
It's more of a commodity version of a currency. The impressive thing is the fact that it costs a thousand times more than the USD does, and the price goes even higher. It starts to get more popular in business, so we can really consider it's a currency.

Nothing gives you so much profit unless you are working hard for it and you got a genius idea (see the millionaires and billionaires). There are many websites offering to give you over 200% profit in a very short time - why would you do that? What could he do with the money to make so much profit for you out of it? Ponzi schemes or scams. When something seems too good to be true, it is.

I just spread my bitcoins over multiple wallets (lesser than 4 since I'm poor : but i do make sure that theyre all secured). Though I do also hold some bitcoins over a trading site. I might go paper if I can actually make bank but I doubt that's happening anytime soon lol Be careful with holding your money on trading websites. I'm doing that too but I only have a sum of $0.3 on the trading site. I recommend you to withdraw a part of it if there is a considerable sum deposited.

You don't need to share any personal data, if you want to be anonymous which is the best feature Bitcoin offers. If you want to purchase Bitcoins, you can either go to a local ATM near you that sells Bitcoin or you can do it through credit cards or face to face cash transaction which I don't recommend. What you need to know his that the ATMs offer a pretty high price though, usually $30 over the normal price.

Bitcoin can't and won't be changed. As soon as it was released, it's going to remain this way, unless the Bitcoin team decides to create a new version. There will always be new and better ideas than Bitcoin is, but Bitcoin will always remain the best, the most popular, and will have the best price.

Am I the only one who is really suspicious of this coin? I actually wanted to buy some ELS after the first announcement (why not?), but somehow the whole "fanbase" here feels fake.
Most of them registered between 2nd and 4th February. First, they wrote 2-3 posts in other threads, then they started posting here 20-30 posts per person. Some of them even started by posting in "buy bitcoinaccounts" to get credible accounts.
Just be cautious guys.
Most likely they are all shill HiringYou accounts guy is a known scammer The dev is not active since Feb 16. It seems so now. No worries. The coin will go down to under 100 satoshis soon. I had 100 Elysium coins, a small investment and I sold them as soon as I found out he's scamming. The coin won't last long.

Bitcoin isn't controlled by anyone, so if they wanted to change the name then they will have to release a new currency, for example Bitcoin 2.0. However, in order to become popular and trusted by other members (because there are many, many fakes and scams around) they will need to reveal themselves and prove they were the real devs of Bitcoin.

How much total coins, what's the price to invest in this ICO?
Tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the price is known yet. The price is usually extremely high in the first few days and then goes down to a stable one (talking about altcoins), but I don't think anyone can really say how much will the price be.. I think it'll be high though, I'm interested in this announcement.

Houses. I haven't seen in my country but I've seen on other websites being listed. There are many houses out there that people want to sell, even for Bitcoins! And there are also people selling cars. That's probably the most expensive thing you can buy, if not gold and silver.

BTC was made to provide ANONYMOUS transactions, so why reveal the founder's name?? It's against it's own (BTC) beliefs. After all Satoshi might be a fake name, an alias, an internet character.
Yeah, and except all that you said.. Revealing such data is critical for your safety. There are many people targeting that guy for different things, and the reveal of him might actually turn into a bad thing: the mainstream media will probably publish headlines like "Meet the founder of the criminals' currency" which will get people mad about it and never put their interest and trust in BTC. Not a good idea to do it.

The highest hype with Bitcoin is the price changing very quickly, so much. There is the possibility of the price going up or down by hundreds of bucks, we never saw this anywhere else (say if we compare it to gold). There are some pros and cons though when it comes to these big price changes.. You can get half of the price as fast as you can get a double of it..

Hmm.. They already inspected it and I don't think this will happen again. Even if it does, there's nothing they can do about it unless they'll censor the Internet (and probably there will be people still finding out ways to get to Bitcoin)..

No. I know that when I send a transaction, it's not going through a Chinese embassy to reach its location. Is a large amount of Bitcoin mined and used in China? Yes, but that's completely irrelevant because China isn't one giant plotting entity which is out to get you, it's a lot of people or businesses who individually influence Bitcoin.
The reason that China isn't controlling Bitcoin is because people in other countries can use it. Simple as that.
China isn't directly controlling it, but the mining is mostly China's.. Many people from there know about Bitcoin and mine it, there are the biggest farms.

Hello! Ok so what I'd like to suggest is adding paper wallets to your coin. Many people like me want to invest in new coins, and paper wallets are always the safest. A hard drive can always fail, a wallet can always be compromised.

This is one of the few services that we have for Bitcoin in my country. But unfortunately the prices are too high for me to afford them. The cheapest ticket is around €300-€400 no matter if it's Bitcoin or fiat. It's still appreciated by me though, because there should be people buying them with Bitcoin too, or others becoming interested in trying Bitcoin.

This is Scam, yesterday they posted the sentence again: "Polo when are you adding us?" muahahahaha and because of getting no response here from anyone of the scammers, i think this is proof enough. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!!! Lowering price by posts like this is not necessary. Price is already low. Are you too worried about the price? My advice is to sell all that you've got. The OP doesn't even seem to care about our opinions. If I owned a cryptocurrency and I had SO many posts saying that I'm trying to scam, I'd come ASAP with proof that I am absolutely NOT. Coming with stuff like "We're in talks with the Indian government" - without proof, who really cares about that sentence? The price will go down to under 10 satoshis probably, in only a matter of a few days. OP is online but doesn't answer ANY of the accusations here. Why? Because it's a scam, and he knows it, and has no proof to deny it. EDIT: I wouldn't want to hurt this project in any way, only if I knew this is a real coin and not a scam. But seeing hundreds of posts of scam accusations between which you can find some dozens of Brand New accounts that are the only supporters of this coin.. It's probably him with all the brand new accounts trying to make others jump in to this project. The Poloniex thing that happened a few days ago, the fact that the "dev" of this coin NEVER answers accusations.. seriously, he thinks we're this stupid.
