3421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [CLOSED] Incent: Signature Campaign | Translation Bounty | SM Bounty on TVE on: December 24, 2016, 08:04:17 PM
I have a question.
I observed that for those of us who have not received our tokens, the actual problem is that the wallet did not sync.
The block remains at 0.
So my questions is that can the wallet sync only on google chrome or can it sync on any browser used because I use Firefox not Chrome.
Have sent the token from my tve like described and seen no display on the wave client app. I thought it was the network provider. Your post shows is not a peculiar problem to me and I don't think the app works with firefox.

3424  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think will be a best time to buy bitcoin? on: December 24, 2016, 03:09:00 PM
The demand for bitcoin is still high, so also the publicity is getting to the end of the world. I cant state the price it could get low because 2017 promise a busy blockchain. With most prediction it get higher toward the end of the year, so the early months into the end of the year could be a better time
3425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Have Stolen Millions Of Dollars In Bitcoin -- Using Only Phone Numbers on: December 23, 2016, 03:05:41 PM
Is so unfortunate that hackers are not getting less smart and they also increasing in number daily. That is why we need to equip ourselves as much as possible, educating ourselves on cybersecurity. Internet is not safe, choice of wallet should also be considered. In most cases with identity theft by hacking it is not done by professionals but local meth users, so Inside knowledge/information can mostly make it easy.

There is an advantage for these sort of hackers, when compared to the old school thieves and burglars. Hackers can target an online wallet located in another country, and due to the bureaucracy involved it becomes almost impossible to catch them. Now most of the hackers are coming from countries such as China and Russia. If someone's bank account located in the US is hacked and the funds stolen, then it becomes extremely difficult for the US law enforcement authorities to catch the perpetrator, as they don't have any authority in Russia and China.
We all know where almost all attacks come from. When it is against countries, it is peculiar to some countries. Just lately some countries  had to amend their laws to punish hackers making there territories a hideout. Now when bitcoin is point of discussion on hacking, I need to attend to such big issue, because it is getting to the neighborhood.
3426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2016, 02:05:25 PM
It is a good data if it is known but no one can. Even if there is no anonymity since it has gone global it wont be easy to estimate. There are some assumption of about 10 million bitcoiners as at last year, this year must have added a large sum in which am one. There are several bitcoin owners with different wallets, off-liners/ cold stored and lost bitcoin. knowledge of minimum number of owners might reduce the challenge with an estimated percentage growth over years

DAR tokens 4000 satoshi not actively buying  Undecided

Maybe my personal reason could be the reason why some are not buying again. They should have held 2500satoshi price longer and reduce the benchmark of trade volume

3434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will crash every 3-4 years? on: December 21, 2016, 07:59:30 PM
one of those threads Roll Eyes. No reason to justify your statement. You started the thread and jumped in a crashing train.

I am the least ranked to make any comment on this thread but I like to say I am part of the byteball campaign and was also not paid last week, and I dont deserve to be paid. I struggled to make enough posts because achow gave me some advice when I seek him, to make better post so as to improve. Then I was making more post but need to improve, my post wasnt this whack either. Gave me advice on the choice of thread to post, sensible ones and not long commented threads.Avoid wordy statements that can look spammy. I should make more posts also bitcoin discussion threads.Sincerely yahoo62278 is not that insensitive as people say, Just abiding by the rules. This week I got my pay without excuses/complain. Rank does not qualify one to break the rule.
3436  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What would you want from a NEW coin? on: December 21, 2016, 04:26:46 PM
A better version of tither that can keep the value of bitcoin if it gets to fall.
A coin that will be a legal tender at most (80% of) countries and online markets.
Faster transaction coin and liquidity.
Better government structure and more anonymity

3438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: December 21, 2016, 08:29:06 AM
Most of the invention in technology are made to improve life but most times come with another problem. The bitcoin NFC(Near field communication) implant is not new( more than 2years) but just an upgrade to the previous implants. The implant function also with credit cards information, key card data, bitcoin keys etc. It was demonstrated early in the year by a prof in Ukraine, it was describe to be absurd, like 'do we really need it?'. Body filled gadget are not as convenient to some people's mind. The chip might be cheap but expensive to implant. In the foreseeable future there might be health implications. Technology is improving at the good and bad side of life. If the bad side of technology gets better than the good, there will be a loss, which make it vulnerable to be hacked.
3439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still suited to low amount transactions? on: December 20, 2016, 08:30:31 PM
I know the slow process of transaction of large amount of bitcoin is of concern to those in charge. I read lately of work been done to improve this. The speed of transfer is one of the advantages of bitcoin and it must be sustain as a edge.
3440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SINGULARDTV (ETHEREUM) - Launch Completed! on: December 20, 2016, 12:24:16 PM
After the ICO, few news had gone out on the development of SNGLS. No medium blog update either. I like to know the reason for the fluctuation in price, fall in the value. What stage is the project? When the project will be launched to service? Update the blogs on SNGLS please.

Hello there,
Such an update of the developmental road-map is about to be released sometime this week.
Most of the updates so far have been on the SingularDTV Slack.
Once there's an announcment it will be posted here as well.
Just mind that bitcointalk is far from being perfect medium for updates, because once posted here, in a week it will be lost in the time-line.
The team's slack is way more appropriate (https://slack.singulardtv.com)
The update will bring forward a new, regular form/way of the devs to communicate the ongoing development with the community.

You have made my day
