you can build a rig that do both thing, but you need to work a bt on the airflow, because in a gaming rig gpu are too close together, if you put them on pcie
otherwise you can siply make a open frame rig with riser and ll of that but that is also your gaming rig, so you will buy a good cpu instead of the crappy g1840, good ram etc...

AMD is shit for equihash, trully, it doesn't have shared memory and that is why NVIDIA owns: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn-enterprise.discourse.org%2Fzcash%2Fuploads%2Fdefault%2Foriginal%2F2X%2F7%2F772a33c7d30d4489ec9d35589ce079f88a6d8c51.png&t=663&c=EQG0oZTntE7AqQ) what miner is that, the one that work on linux only? ah i get it, this is the new version fo the nicehash miner, 66 sol on a 1070 AMD is shit for equihash, trully, it doesn't have shared memory and that is why NVIDIA owns: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn-enterprise.discourse.org%2Fzcash%2Fuploads%2Fdefault%2Foriginal%2F2X%2F7%2F772a33c7d30d4489ec9d35589ce079f88a6d8c51.png&t=663&c=EQG0oZTntE7AqQ) Except I have ~70H/s on my RX480 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.piccy.info%2Fi9%2F1727893fc4339941ab16debdbe82f658%2F1478800134%2F35449%2F1088389%2FRX480.png&t=663&c=UjcBDWeU7rB0bg) real nvidia potential is at least 134 sol on a 1070, just look at the djm miner, which is private

well finally a good news, diff should not increase too much since this is only affecting nvidia user, hence will make zcash more profitable for us, or at least on par with etheruem

i usually go with a open frame(by the look of that site it seems that you want a standard gaming rig to mine..), h81 pro btc, g1840, 8GB ddr3 sniper, 120GB ssd, rm1000i and 6 x risers
then you simply choose nvidia or amd
Easy enough, and a good list. When that stuff arrives though, I need (I assume Linux) operating system on it, is there a good guide on how to get that set up and running? EDIT: Also, with the EVGA 1300W, it has 6 8 pin slots. How do you power 6 cards if they need 2 connections each? Or do most cards just have 1 8 pin connector? yeah that issue is a pain in the ass, in fact recently i only choose gpu that have only 1 8 pin or 6 pin, to avoid buying bmore cable, since no psu out there come with 6 x 6+8pin or six 2x8pin Yea that seems easier, any advice on how to get an operating system set up? was easy with the possibility to upgrade from previous windows to win 10, but now no more because the free win 10 upgrade ended, so i have my torrent copy of win 7 or win 10 for that, just use a bootable usb, you can make it bootable with rufus if you mean ubuntu i'm not too familiar with it, i prefer to use linx on a VM

So far you found sweet fuck all. Come back when you do.
Ok, lets put the real facts here https://classic.zcha.in/blocksChech the first blocks and check this one ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s He was the first miner with 84 blocks before someone else could found a block ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) That sounds a lot of premine ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 84 x 12.5 ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) is already a little more then just 0.35 BTC SCAM ALERT - PREMINE COIN!!! https://classic.zcha.in/accounts/t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3sTotal Sent 3137.5013215 ZCL Total Received 3137.5013215 ZCL PS: I'm a little too long in the business to fool me ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I confirm owner of t1ZiuPPaCuTGAQaqg1mXc9f7fTuschtFb3s premine ~ 200 block in ~ 1.5 hours with super low diff and he quit after mine 251 block who cares?i mined around 500 coins in the time and ? in what time frame and with what setup you mined 500 coins? in any case this is no where near the 20% developers funding that zcash is giving away for an easy dumping

the problem with their continuous increase in hashing, is that they are just stealing from each other, they are not really earning more, just increasing their electricity cost...so stupid
it would be wise for them to just maintain their hashrate and be happy with the same revenue

yeah with zero volume, i followed it all day and the price was always sitting at 0.08 and before it was 0.068, peak with almost no volume do not count at all

30 sol 0.012btc where? 30 sol is currently giving only 0.003 on zclassic and a bit less on zcash
You can get $8 a card by using the opensource miner and mine zcash classic with nvidia hardware. Zcash is currently being harvested, and the profit is injected into zcash classic.
$8 a card what card and with what miner? the open source is doing 0.003 per card at best, which is hardly $8, more like $2.5
where is the block explorer, still on progress, or just the op forgot about it?
ETC is different because the existing Etherum owners got free ETC when it forked. ZCL is a copycoin that restarted on block 0 and give 100% of the payouts to the miners, so you get a fair distrubution and avoid dumping from the investors/developers.
The nethash is currently
780 235 Sol/s (26 100 gtx 1070's with the genoil miner)
the diff was very high before, it's good that the price is catching but i don't like to dump on c-cex. too damn slow and not enough volume profit is a bit better than zcash now, maybe it's worth a try
yeah zclassic another clone, with higher diff, and less profit
-NO FOUNDERS TAX -NO SLOW START-TRUSTED PARAMETERS ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) 70BTC volume in 24h on C-Cex. Will probobly be listed at poloniex and bittrex soon... Zcash calculators doesn't work on Zcash classic because there is no slow start. i just tested at coinmine no calculator, and i was receiving equal or less profit than zcash and they also said the same thing about etheruem classic, no premine no crap and stuff like that, but look, it's always behind the real etheruem
yeah zclassic another clone, with higher diff, and less profit, maybe it was good for the first day, now it's worse than vanilla zcash
better to mine zcash, it will end the same as eth classic vs ethereum
what miner you are talking about, and what coin? if this is about zcash, just add -t x, where x is the number of core
for anything else, cpu is not really useful, unless you join some botnet coin with aws instances, like zcoin, otherwise only a waste of electricity
only on the last .70 drivers, i don't any of that crap on the .63 drivers, minus the last one which i disabled
just avoid them for now, they hardly give any boost anyway
6 iterations per second CAN lead to 140 sol/s. Just run multiple nonces per iteration. It all depends on how you define an "iteration".
pallas how do you run multiple nonces per iteration plz? thx You need to rewrite the miner :-) are you working on something about zcash?

From a miner's perspective, the future success of a coin doesn't matter. If you wanna hold, you'd better buy. Mining is about hashrate and efficiency. Mine and sell: you make more money and you can buy whatever coins you want with that (even non-pow ones).
it depend, if you have a big farm that can produce tons of coins each day and your mining activity is profitable, it's never better to buy directly buy directly, for holding, it's only good if you want a great amount of coins because you think that alt is going to skyrocket

can you add the same login for all your pool like suprnova? it's annoying to register again every time there is a new coin
