Hope you're hungry! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I've been baking like a mad man lately and I was curious if anyone would be interested in different products. I'm open to making new things to sell. Just let me know here or in a PM! Venison jerky? Were there many deer in Greece? :p

It's performing calculations in the same way a benchmarking utility would, except the energy is used purposefully instead of wasted. Tom's Hardware started including mining hashpower in their benchmarking a few months ago, IIRC.

Worked out a payment plan with OP and he has made a significant first payment. Second due next week, then a final payment may be due if price of Bitcoin dips low enough. Fwiw. Cheers, Ben

Hm. I'm not sure if state reps are under the same no-foreign-contributions limit as federal candidates. I don't see anything on the NH campaign finance law website about it.
- And, yeah, even though Bitcoins aren't legal tender, it's counted for FMV, so anything going over $1k FMV requires info In typIcal condItIons. He's already violated this, it seems, so I'd imagine he should return those until they provide adequate info. It'd probably be way less messy if he used Bit-Pay, unless he actually planned on trying to hide everything by "quietly" converting the BTC to USD. IANAL, though. Interested in seeing what happens.

Why would someone bother trying to steal from someone who goes to a faucet-type website? That makes about as much sense as a pick-pocket going to a soup kitchen.

I've still to hear back from Jonathan Ryan Owens(JRO), have sent him an email for the second time, tomorrow I'll call him.
Someone should. Has he been active on the IRC? It seems all his projects are unresponsive, including the sites zipconf.com and kronos.io. He was online here just 12 days ago, there is too little time for the websites to go down even if he doesn't have Internet access. Were they already shut down? His latest post was on July 15. He's not replying to anyone except those who are phyically beside him. No phone replies, either, but someone around him said he's actively working to resolve the situation amicably for all.

I asked for a quote from http://cspixelfoundry.com/ after enjoying some of their work -- Idunno if my budget's reasonable or not. From speaking with others, it sounds like I'm "in the ballpark," though I'm definitely in the low end of that ballpark.

SGI posted a quarterly %RoE of -61.72%. In less than a century, they will have consumed all of the financial world with losses! It'll be even BIGGER than the persistently-looming derivatives nightmare!
Over the past decade, the prime rate has decreased at a relative rate of around 10% per year, so pretty soon, we're going to start seeing negative interest rates for the common man, followed by a devastating deflationary spiral to collapse. Basically - by 2050, the interest rate on your mortgage will be -30.5% APY.

Within three months, I bet the screamers of "PONZI!" will claim their education of the masses, that 7%/wk is unsustainable, is what led Pirate to lower rates.
Clearly, people are on to Pirate's scam, and so he's going to lower rates to build confidence... but then it's going to go BOOM, and all the idiots who invested in his scheme will have nothing, and I'll laugh. I'm thinking this scheme only has -1 or 1 week left, anyway. All the scammers in collusion probably left, so there're just the idiot know-nothings at the bottom left, waiting to have their savings ripped away from them.

That's not JRO's writing style, and I' be incredibly shocked if JRO and that person were the same, as someone who's spent hours on the phone with JRO. Fwiw.
Just out of curiosity, how does someone get to the point where they just drop a business and don't bother contacting anyone about it? I'm not even talking about updates, and so on, I'm talking about just dropping the ball entirely and walking away like it's nothing? I don't get it, as I have heard, this JRO guy is busy, yeah, but this isn't a game. I mean I could just walk away from a business like YARR that has 3,000 coins of other people's money in it, and what, no one would get pissed off? If he's busy why doesn't he hire a manager? In fact if he's busy why did he even start this? I don't really have a dog in this fight but it perplexes me to no end that the "he's busy" excuse hasn't been put to the test a little more. I don't think that's a valid excuse actually. I don't plan on defending how this has been handled, and thinking about it makes me smoke... a lot. There was a buyout in the works, 20Mission was sounding pretty good... people had visited who weren't explicitly involved, who I talked to. But, there's been about a 2-week total lack of communication. There have been quite a few honest mistakes which are excusable, I think, but I don't think I could defend the lack of communication. If I don't see any communication occurring by the end of the month, I'll be very depressed as I think I may stand to lose the most if everything collapses, but would be willing to give everyone the full details on everything which has happened.

All attempts will be made to resolve this issue as soon as possible but is dependent on the issuer bitdaytrade
I'm confused, what was the issue with this asset? REBATE is 50% JRO, 50% Alberto. BDT is 100% Alberto (or xx% Alberto, xx% Meni - I have no idea). REBATE and Zip.A have effectively been non-functioning with no communication from the Issuer, which I assume is the reason for the freeze. BDT, I suspect, has been frozen due to guilt by association.

STOP RESUMING TRADING TILL U FIGURE THIS OUT FFS
I'd like to buy some coins from someone off-exchange, but use Gox WtAvg to calculate price, so if Mark could confirm the issue's solved, it would be appreciated...

It seems the same error as before caused the $12.80 jump. Disappearing sell orders.
