3441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun & Altoin bear market on: December 16, 2020, 10:40:53 PM
Is it possible to have Bitcoin bullrun wherein altcoin continues to trend in red
This question is a bit tricky. Are we talking about the BTC price vs fall in price of alts in sats or BTC price vs fall in price of alts in USD
If we are talking in USD value, it's possible but rarely happens.

This is Bitcoin is the most commonly used base for most trading pairs against alts. So any increase in the BTC price in USD value means an increase in the price of each sat.
So when bitcoin price moves, altcoin prices move in the same direction
3442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early signs of crime with bitcoin. on: December 16, 2020, 09:14:12 PM
Is this even news?
Even way before Bitcoin became widely known people with good and bad intentions used it a like. From trading normal good and items in exchange for bitcoin to using to buying banned drugs, weapons, money laundering etc. Bitcoin has seen it all from its infancy
Questions are;
1. Did money laundering start when Bitcoin was introduced
2. Did trading of banned substances and weapons start when Bitcoin was introduced?

If the answer is no, then why does it make news when such things happen in the bitcoin ecosystem?
3443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 15, 2020, 10:51:42 PM
But we can see that only the 3rd scenario is happening right now i.e alts are following btc.
What's about the 1st and 2nd.
(Actually I am a newbie in trading)
The most common scenario is the Altcoin  prices following Bitcoin's price movement's because the Bitcoin is the most common coin used as a trading pair against different coins such as ETH/BTC, EOS/BTC, ADA/BTC so any price change in bitcoin against the USD will definitely affect the price of the alt coins in the same direction.

The first 2 rarely happen and when they do, it's mostly a case of Bitcoin vs Individual altcoins
3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRANGE RISE PATTERN on: December 15, 2020, 10:11:02 PM
What could XRP be doing wrong to make its price suffer the falls while it should be rising?
If you have been following recent events very well, XRP had a snapshot for an airdrop I think about 4 days ago and towards the snapshot, there was an exponential rise in its price compared to Bitcoin and other alt coins. After the snapshot, obvious a correction in price was expected that why you see XRP's price is in the opposite direction as compared to other coins
3445  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTB) your BTC/ETH/LTC/any crypto for (WTS) my PayPal USD/EUR/GBP/any currency on: December 14, 2020, 10:26:53 PM
It seems that you are just a bored bum, who has nothing to do
Fortunately, I don't use my free time to scam innocent people. I use it to expose scumbags like you

By the way, I can tell you that false accusations are a criminal offense in many countries, and if I were you, I would be more careful in a statements.
Except that this is not a false accusation, you are a dirty little scammer who doesn't deserve to be in this community.

3446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 14, 2020, 12:09:14 AM
I think no one will scam $4 worth with at least full member rank without negative feedback on profile.
You will be surprised how desperate some people can be here. Earlier on this year, I remember someone with a high rankling account, Probably Senior or Hero member profile with no negative feedback scamming a loan of about $3-4  Grin
3447  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam exchange: ovextrade.com on: December 13, 2020, 11:55:39 PM
<...>
I don't think you will be able to track them down minus spending lots of money. Best thing to do right now is to just create scam accusations as their domains don't stay online for so long

Since the subject is still ovextrade.com, this site now appears to be offline. So they can't scam people with that anymore. Or someone else has to buy the domain again  Smiley
They usually create hundreds of more similar domains like the one @CharlesWard  just reported here. So the scamming doesn't end at overtrade.com going offline.
3448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Argentum ARG. on: December 13, 2020, 11:36:28 PM
I just checked out their website (www.argentum.io) and it's dead. Why would you want to buy tokens of this project at such high prices?
Also the coin seems to be trading on https://freiexchange.com/market/ARG/BTC and people are selling cheaply, why not just collect those coins from the exchange?
3449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Which Is The Best P2P Exchange Now-A-Days And Why? on: December 13, 2020, 11:21:53 PM
Localcryptos.com is also good if you don't like KYC. They also support 4 cryptocurrencies, that's Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash and Ethereum.
There are more p2p exchanges, Check the following lists

3450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 13, 2020, 10:47:41 PM
There are so many factors at play here;
1. What was the price I bought the bitcoins at before the rise?
If I bought Bitcoins at less than $3K and it hit $100,000, of course I would try to cash out some. I mean what's the point of just stocking Bitcoins minus spending any?

2. How many bitcoins do I actually own?
The urge to cash out when I have 100 BTC ($10M) would be far different from the one if i had only 0.1 BTC ($10,000)  Grin

But to be honest, I wouldn't withdraw all the bitcoins and I don't think I would stop the game I would keep some for the future (family and grandkids)

3451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 13, 2020, 10:23:15 PM
<...>
AFAIK, most of the instant exchanges if not all have a minimum limit and the limit is usually higher than that of ordinary exchanges because they have to cater for transaction fees, slippage rates and service fees, at least according to a couple of instant exchanges I have used in the past, that's coinplaza and exolix

E.g.
Minimum for Coinplaza is 0.1091 BCH

Minimum for godex is 0.34645232 BCH

Exolix doesn't even offer BCH
3452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Withdrawal / delivery time on: December 13, 2020, 10:05:45 PM
please do you know about b2bx exchange, that was the place tried to make deposit and i was luckily enough not to sent my token before making withdrawal, i would have got stocked without my funds getting out from the exchange after all i was told my country residence are not permitted to operate on their trading platform i don't really know how to trade my token till now.
my country is NGN
I think it's possible for you to carry out quick trades and transactions only if you are willing to verify your
- Binance Account for P2P trading
- Chipper cash account (It's one of the quickest way of transferring cash in most African Countries, Nigeria inclusive)

Check out https://c2c.binance.com/en and look for the best deals from you traders in your local country with your preferred payment method and then start trading.

Chipper cash is said to be instant, You can research and read more about it
3453  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTB) your BTC/ETH/LTC/any crypto for (WTS) my PayPal USD/EUR/GBP/any currency on: December 13, 2020, 01:51:37 PM
Please refrain from trading with this account. Have zero reputation or trading history on bitcointalk and expected me to send him first. He contacted me and tells me I seem like a scam so we need to use an escrow. I advised him to use an escrow from bitcointalk to which he replied, he doesn't trust escrows from bitcointalk and linked me to some scammy escrow site. Stay away from this idiot and his sense of reasoning seemed like a 2-year-olds.
Still surprised that this scammer hasn't yet been flagged.
Is it possible for you to  provide that link of the scammy escrow site he sent you so that we expose it?
I could create a full scam accusation report with all the evidence and then use its link as a reference to create a type 1 flag before guests or newbies get scammed.
3454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 12, 2020, 11:55:31 PM
Since you are still a learner, start off with crypto/stable coin trading pairs like BTC/USDT or ETH/USDT. This will make it easier for you to determine your entry and exit points, Profit or loss etc
Also stick with top marketcap coins and avoid brand-new coins/tokens that don't have great trading volumes.
3455  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Alert) Bitcoin.com Promote Scam Website Link ON Their Blog on: December 12, 2020, 11:25:52 PM
Although Roger has an account on this forum, he is not very active after he was painted in red. So don't live in the delusion that something will change because you opened this thread - he just wants a profit, no matter what he has to do to get it.
But one of the many reasons members make scam accusations, warnings or alerts by opening the threads here is more than just expecting an immediate change on the websites or casinos. Some threads here act as future references and cautions whoever tries to do a web search about the website. So look at it as a long term warning or review and not just a thread created for a short term dispute settlement.
3456  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: December 12, 2020, 11:13:37 PM
realy? Shocked
you not see some starange feedbacks in my trust list from dt users that you support?
and they not abuse))
or what?
What is false about the feedback they left you?
Arrogance aside, the real truth is you are very manipulative Peloso and you should never be trusted by any trader. You tried to manipulate DT at one point and you are also a staunch liar
3457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2020, 10:48:46 PM
I didn't expected such big dominance from Real Madrid today. They've been unstable this season so far, but now they have good period - wins in La Liga against direct competitors Sevilla and Atletico and crucial win in Champions league. Meanwhilwe Atletico suffered first defeat this season and probably it was their worst game so far. But they are still leading league.
They have been unstable with mediocre and bottom clubs but when it comes to bigger opponents and when the match is a must win. They have so far performed well. I had a feeling they would beat Atlético Madrid regardless of how they played the match.

Another not so easy upcoming match is going to be against Athletic Bilbao. I still think they will deliver
3458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Linkdown in Binance: can touch 1$ ? on: December 12, 2020, 09:49:42 PM
It can touch $1 and even go beyond depending on the market conditions. The highest it has ever been since getting listed on Binance was $16.8800.
Noboady can tell you exactly when it can reach $1 or any other price range because that's what the crypto market is... very unpredictable.
3459  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Neteller and Skrill dont support BTC anymore? on: December 12, 2020, 09:22:02 PM
I checked the list of sanctioned countries, luckily, my country isn't one of them. Knowing that this list keeps changing makes me wonder what will happen if you make a deposit then your country becomes restricted: Do these sanctions have a retroactive effect which may lead to banning your account?
According to their terms and conditions. They claim that they will notify you about the changes and probably give you time to withdraw your funds. In case you don't respond, they will do the exchanging for you and credit your account with an approximately equivalent e-money value
