3441  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would it be wise to use domestic and foreign exchanges separately? on: March 31, 2021, 08:28:26 PM
I am trading cryptocurrency in Korea, and I am using two different exchange platforms: a exchange called Dove Wallet and Binance, due to liquidity and also a price difference called Kimchi Premium. Is it common to use two or more exchanges?
Yes you can there is no restrictions on how many exchange you want to use. And you know you also can amek profits from the price difference in the exchanges you are trading for particular coins which is commonly known as arbitrage trading.
3442  Economy / Reputation / Re: List the lies since forum mods are not doing anything. on: March 31, 2021, 05:26:07 PM
Self moderating threads are moderated by the creator itself so moderator is not going to involve anything related to it. In the recent times we can see lot of accounts shilling for adkinsbet which is already discussed on Meta section but there will be no further actions on them unless the violate forum rules.
3443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do we help signature campaigns generate fund to pay its participants on: March 31, 2021, 03:05:33 PM
Yes we are helping them since this is the biggest cryptocurrency forum so there is no other cheapest available option for promoting a service than signature campaign but longer or short campaign depends on how effective their signature campaign results which can be easily tracked by the admin of the aite we are promoting using the number of people clicking our signature and registering into their site and taking a service there.
Not just the effectivity but also their funds that is reserved for the signature campaign, what I mean by that is that they should have a fund for starters because they are just starting and the only time that you will get results in your campaigns is around a month or two.
Even months may not be enough that is why companies with longest signature campaigns are more successful than others, but yeah when someone wants to startup they also should allocate enough funds for the promotion which is one if the important factor needed in the modern day market.
3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges sell altcoins which doesn't exsist on: March 31, 2021, 08:02:57 AM
Do you agree with this idea? Example: X coin has 100M max supply and there are 50M supply circulating on it's network. They sell 50M+ coins year by year to people who wants to buy it. Imagine a bank gives credit (more money than the bank has) to costumers.

Exchanges don't sell the coins, only the holders doing it who bought it at presale or mined it. So the exchange is just a platform where buyers and sellers meet and make their trader orders when it matches the trade will be executed. But centralized projects can mint new coins and tokens from no where then inject it into the market that is why we need to invest on decentralized projects.
3445  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should akash07 deserves to be tagged or not? on: March 31, 2021, 05:59:08 AM
For now most of his post deserved to be deleted for spamming and it already happened. I don't know how it is possible to recover the passphrase of bitcoin wallet so lets wait and see how he is doing it. As mentioned above leave a warning message with a neutral tag should be enough.
3446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When is Authenticator code needed? on: March 30, 2021, 06:31:12 PM
As I know, Coinbase uses the Authy app for 2FA until 31 march. They will no longer be supported after this date. If you do not migrate to Google 2FA or Duo, they will automatically remove the 2FA protection from your account.
Which time zone use on your phone, is there any difference in other devices which had regular access to Coinbase? it was a problem for me at one point until I put it on automatic time zone determination.

All my devices show the same time zone and I haven't moved out of this time zone.  Gemini uses Authy, but I thought Coinbase/Coinbase Pro used Google Authenticator.  I pretty sure that is asked for an Authenticator code not an Authy code.
Authy is an app like google authenticator and lot other similar authenticating apps which gives TOTP based codes. So if your authenticating apps is having sync issue then you need to resync it on the settings and he is saying if you are an Authy user you need to move to other authenticating apps or else your account will lose 2FA protection.

But why Coinbase decided to close 2FA from authy and it is actually possible to find which authenticating apps we are using?

3448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal created crypto checkout service!! on: March 30, 2021, 01:55:59 PM
Paypal adoption is not actually a great thing happened to the crypto community because they try to create the centralized payment system even with the bitcoin and the only positive thing is more people will hear the name bitcoin due to paypal adoption. But people who really wanted to spend their cryptos for purchases will be happy about the news but who is going to spend it when everyone interested on holding?
3449  Other / Meta / Re: How these guys have an active thread? on: March 30, 2021, 10:55:03 AM
snip~~

I can understand this because all our efforts are just going into trash but they ANN never getting in there which is kind of dissappointed but moderators can consider giving temporary ban them when their posts getting deleted and multiple violations should give them perma ban which can put atleast a temporary stoppage to these bumping groups.
3450  Other / Meta / Re: How these guys have an active thread? on: March 30, 2021, 08:53:29 AM
I am not sure if there is a rule about creating fake conversations by the same group for the sole purpose of bumping threads. But if not, that should be added. If an entire thread page is covered with posts of the same group of users and that same group dominates the entire thread with unnecessary comments, admins should react to it.
It is supposed to be considered as spam and all the conversations created by the shills should be deleted and I am also agrees that there should be a rule against such kind of behavior because bumping threads using incentives is against the rule so the thread will be immediately trashed but if they are using the account bumpers and paying out which is clearly visible but still there is no action.
3451  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to sell BTC for higher markup price? on: March 28, 2021, 06:45:52 PM
Are there lot of ppl doing this as in selling btc for a higher markup price right now?
In local exchanges the prices are always higher than price of coinmarketcap due to less liquidity but on peer to peer still the prices are higher than the coinmarketcap price because the traders need to pay 1% commission to the trading platform so they always keep atleast 2% as margin to make little money as possible.
3452  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My bitcoin is frozen at Paxful and they won't let me withdraw it on: March 28, 2021, 03:30:02 PM
can anyone helping me please Sad I cannot lose my money like this Sad(
@OP, Did you try to contact @cabalism13? Because just now I remember he is willing to resolve any issues with Paxful because he is one of the team member of Paxful.

So please take a look at this thread [FREE] Paxful Help Services

It's unbelievable that you put a link to a thread whose content you didn't check at all - the OP contacted cabalism13 on February 27, but only now has received an answer (at least as far as public announcements are concerned).
I was on my phone by that time but later I read that thread where cabalism13 didn't made any responses regarding anything but I guess now he got notified by a bot when I mentioned his name.

Lastly, If you go against the TOS of the Company then consider the account lost as it will be banned forever and an appeal won't be possible.

Given the number of negative reviews that can be read on various websites, about 60% of Paxful users are apparently scammers whose account has been frozen. It is only strange to me that the OP claims that his account has been blocked.

But OP claims that now the dispute with the trading partner was resolved, even Paxful response that they are trying to reach the other trader to confirm it but as far as I know if there is no further response after a long time from the other side then the dispute should be resolved with what re the proofs are available at the moment with them which means OP is in advantage now but why there is no further response?

3454  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 07:10:44 PM
Work from home can be economical but letting the employees to work with friendly workspace can increase the productivity of them for sure, lets take a look at what Google is doing.

Increasing the working hours a day to work fewer days a week is not beneficial to the company because more hours a human work means they will be less productive.
in any case, a certain Attitude for work, as well as a certain Atmosphere, is present only in the workplace. Of course, there are quite a few professions where a person takes his job home, but he still spends the bulk of his work at the workplace. I believe that such work is more effective. As an example, we can cite the current schooling of schoolchildren at home due to the pandemic, and many experts express their opinion that student performance has decreased because in the classroom they are more focused and more accepting of new knowledge than in online lessons. The situation is the same with adults when it comes to their work and their respective schedules.
Comparing work and online class is not perfect because not every children has the same kind of interest in the studying so they tends to focus on other things where there is a chance but work is not the same, its the responsibility given to the individual so they will surely complete it more sooner than the workplace to get more leisure time. Cheesy

3456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another NFT sold for huge $$$ ' A column of New York Times on: March 27, 2021, 01:32:36 PM
You have to ask yourself the same thing about spending so much on online money to you know, I mean what you people are doing right now, being skeptic and ridiculing NFT because they pay a lot of money for an art or anything that is tokenized is the same as the people back then who laughed and ridiculed bitcoin during its 0.1 USD days, why ask as to why they spend so much on NFT? I mean you are not the people that are buying the piece so how does it affect your life if they buy it if you find it stupid, you people that are skeptic are going to be left behind.
Valid statement though!

While bitcoin got the demand due to actual use case but NFTs are more look like a collectible item so people want to buy it just for simply holding without actually using it that is what the difference between bitcoin adoption and NFT.
Exactly, NFTs are collectible which means that depending on who created it and how people perceive its value like paintings which is not that different with bitcoin as it is still considered more as an asset rather than a currency. That is another topic in it as well, the utility of NFT and I think that the one that will grow are those that have utilities like digital arts and anything related to it. Like what Metakovan did with the 70 million USD art that he bought from Beeple, he plans to display it in his Metaverse which is a virtual space and in a way make it a gallery for Beeple's artwork for the people to marvel at.
So the product doesn't have any actual value, its just comes from the creator and in my opinion which is on too much hyped now which can burst out completely. Where as bitcoin was same in the price value no matter who is holding it.

NFT art hype is taking us to old age again with the help of latest technology
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another NFT sold for huge $$$ ' A column of New York Times on: March 27, 2021, 06:51:39 AM
Does it really worth it to spend so much on an online art? Don't get me wrong, I do love some unique art and mostly love the idea of having them on blockchain but the way the price of the NFT's are being inflated is a bit surprising to me, I guess choice of what is valuable is quite different.

3459  Other / Meta / Re: How these guys have an active thread? on: March 26, 2021, 06:02:14 PM
Scams are not moderated here, which is hard to accept but that is the truth.

It is difficult for people to accept that the forum has taken such an attitude towards scammers, because in real life such people are prosecuted by the police and the judiciary, and they are punished in accordance with the law. Here, the greatest possible punishment for a proven scam is to give someone the opportunity to leave negative feedback or create a flag - which does not prevent scammers from continuing what they have done before.

In a nutshell scams survive in the online world because no one wants to be an online police and try to punish them - I wrote once long ago that I could compare it to the real world in the following example : A man scam, say, 10 000 people and steals a total of $1 million - instead of being punished and imprisoned, he gets a T-shirt that says scammer as a warning to others - we all know that T-shirts are the same as tags or flags, throw away a T-shirt or create a new account, you are free to scam again.
Yeah but this is an online forum which allows people to do anything they wanted and scam on the online platform cannot be solved even by banning them because they are free to create a new account and do the same like what happens when they got tags but when a brand is keep repeating then they should not be given an excuse. And also the netizens (term used to call people who are surfing which I am recently hearing everywhere) should be aware of possible scams and they should never lose their common sense for any reason to save them from getting scammed.
3460  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator deleted my topic, I disagree with this on: March 26, 2021, 03:29:16 PM
I think because game is game and nothing is impossible in game but the chances can be very slim, but it can happen, this makes the question unnecessary. I will advice you to increase your post quality.

Everyone has their own understanding of the quality of posts. I agreed that messages with 2-3 words should be deleted. It seems to me that sometimes the moderators take too much upon themselves.

They deleted it because someone reported it as low value posts and it looks in that way normally when you post a one-liners just for the sake of increasing the post counts. But I don't know much about the number you asked about so I may gather some knowledge about that if visited the thread.
