You forgot about the escrow part Grin

None.
ASIC = Application Specific Integrated Circuit unless it can be reprogrammed via firmware it is not going to be able to handle those plus it does not have the ram for it.

What are the chances that the fury / blizzard will be able to mine other coin algo's like x11, x13, x15 etc. with special software in the future?

Thank you thought as much, just wondered Smiley

Good idea to start a new 'moderated' thread. The official one was crazy beyond belief.

Perhaps the Dev will get involved again with this one to put minds at rest.

The dev is pretty active on the IRC chat #URO. But do understand that this is a massive undertaking that requires a lot of online and offline co-ordination. I have been following URO from the first week and the dev has clarified a large number of genuine doubts, many of which I myself have had when I heard about uro for the first time. The more informed members would be happy to clarify what we know so the questions that have already been clarified don't require dev's time.

Heres his video from google hangout yesterday,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsHF0C_gPck

poor guy. He is really trying. We need to support him.

For a lot of the useful discussion points from the unmoderated thread, many of them have been collected here. Feel free to go through them.

urofoundation.wordpress.com

Thank you I will have a proper look through when I've got some more time. Its already taken up too much of my 'day off' today...

I understand the Dev and his team are very busy doing things behind the scenes, he looked so stressed out in the video which I skimmed through earlier.

If people are trying to say that the guy in the red shirt has been photo shopped into that picture they are crazy. Nothing has been done to that photograph at all.

The shadow behind his head on the advertising board is the best example, its even got the reverse angle hair parting in it.

Ask anyone that knows anything about photo editing and they will tell you that it's virtually impossible to recreate a shadow without it looking fake..... and that one looks 100% real to me.

I can CONFIRM this is the SAME guy who was on google chat last night, and the SAME guy who was in tiny chat, trying to defend why this was no scam... problem is.. the idiot kids in here instead of listening to him jsu tplayed random videos over and over... how smart.

fools.  time will put you into your place.  I just wish time was now.

Unfortunately I missed the chats last night but have been catching up with this thread today. Seems to me like lots of people are making assumptions without any real solid evidence to do so.

To be honest it doesn't really matter to me either way, I have held half and sold half of the URO I mined so am quite happy either way, what shall be shall be.

I have one, get maybe $6 a day

$440 / $6 = 73.3 days

I got screwed paying $995 about 2 weeks ago

even at 440 you'll get screwed...ltc diff rate is going to keep climbing for a long time now with all these asics hitting the network...all these ltc miners are pretty much useless now...they'll never mine fast enough to get ROI probably never Sad unless you did like me n bought for a super low price Wink cause they thought it was broken Grin

Nice one!!! Getting a good deal from a hardware supplier that might actually ROI Shocked. That must be a first Grin.

Don't waste your time posting on this thread people.

OP joined May 12th made 1 post and hasn't signed in again.

No doubt account will be for sale in the future as an 'aged' account, same as hundreds thousands of others like it.
3451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: July 09, 2014, 01:17:07 AM
But at that diff... you little miner will be lucky to find shares... that's why you see things the way they are. I am mining on pools that allow me to set my own diff.

Your Mileage May Very...

Yes I agree,

To be honest my main mining rigs are x11, x13, x15 and sha-256 this is just a test really before buying more hardware.

Anyone else getting all solo mining shares rejected with Zeusminer Blizard?

Have been testing out solo mining on a low difficulty coin for a few hours and have got 5 rejected shares.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

My .bat file is: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:xxxx -u xxxx -p xxxx --chips-count 6 --ltc-clk 300 -S //./COM10 --nocheck-golden

Any help appreciated.

EDIT: Make that 6 rejected shares....

I maybe new to this... but your diff is 14k.... OUCH!!!

Thanks for your reply. Funny you say that, just had an accepted share:

At least I know its working right Smiley

BTW 14k is nothing, really low diff compared to other coins. In fact I looked for the lowest difficulty scrypt coin before downloading the wallet and trying solo mining.

Just wanted to do with a low diff coin before trying on higher diff. to check was working ok.

Can someone please tell me what a very clean DC power source is?

I believe like a gold or platinum PSU would be clean powersource. Using those power supply's that come with the fury I would guess is not clean.

The best I did for clean power is, I changed the outlet to a nice brand new outlet "brown color heavy duty" "American" > Using ISOBAR6 > Tripp Lite OMNIVS1000 > EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 > mining farm = 6 gridseeds and one fury.

Thank you that's great I thought it might be a gold / platinum or even bronze psu. I agree the power supply included is not the best...

Thanks for the additional information as well, much appreciated Smiley
3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: July 08, 2014, 10:14:35 PM

Not good. Hash rate reduced a little and HW errors went up to 40%+.

I have not looked into the voltage mod yet, but that may be the next challenge.

Scott

I am guessing my unit is bad then? or just people with volt mods see the best results?

I wouldn't say your unit is bad. It just happens to favor that frequency using the pool you are on. Yes, the pools themselves affect the hash throughput just as much as the difficulty. All my units are stock (no voltage mods) and I am having great results with hashfaster.com, where I am mining as much Dogecoin as possible before the next rewards halving takes place in about 6 days. I also use a very clean DC power source so the hardware does not have to deal with significant voltage ripples.

Can someone please tell me what a very clean DC power source is?

How can they possibly continue and even consider a re-launch when so many people have lost their coins already?

I certainly wouldn't use them again that's for sure, I only ever get burned once.
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto Rush - Crypto to Crypto exchange on: July 08, 2014, 06:59:46 AM
I have been watching this thread with interest as I also had coins there, not as many as some but it was my preferred exchange at the time so had most there.

I have just tried to log in with old username and password on the new site and get this message 'Your email or password entered was incorrect, or you have not yet validated your email address'.

I was able to login with my old details until recently and see my old balances, just to rub salt in the wounds.

Perhaps that's it now Sad.
