3441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: Scalable, flexible altcoin on: May 03, 2017, 09:51:12 AM
It is strenge to see that just two users answered a thread created by theymos. I think that this section should be renamed :"Altcoin's Advertising" instead of " Altcoins Discussion".

lol i though at first that this thread was made by someone else, then i take a look at the nickname and i was surprised to see theymos posting here, i remember he hate altcoin or maybe not
i like his idea of this new altcoin, maybe he see potential for a new coin that can de-throne bitcoin or he hate the whole discussion about segwit and the block limit
i think a new altcoin should have all the fancy recent features like masternodes and anonimity plus fully decentralization with exchange build in the client and block explorer too
3442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to start a new Indian Altcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 09:49:24 AM
Hello everyone!

I'm new to the altcoin realm so please excuse me for being an idiot  Smiley

I just wanted your opinion on whether it would be a good idea to start an ALTCOIN based on India. Our government is relaxing its policies on digital currencies so I was wondering whether I could start such a coin.

Thanks in advance!

country altcoin are not good anymore, now the new trend is segwit coin, coins that have segwit activated, or masternodes, it doesn't matter if from indian or whatever, the couuntry coins were good with auroracoin in 2014, but it's an old stuff already
3443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here is a simple test to see if your altcoin has real value... on: May 02, 2017, 03:58:30 PM
i agree exchange are way too powerful today, they can control almost all the alt, and they also create and pump their own alt, and also manipulate all the other without you even knowing, i'm all for decentralized altcoin exchange, should be integrated directly in the client, and this would also encourage people to run a node and support the network
3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Theoritical max value of an altcoin on: May 02, 2017, 03:55:39 PM
I'm relative new to the altcoin market. I was wondering if there is a way to calculate the theoretical max value of a coin based on the market cap and the total supply.

This question was triggered when I read somewhere that Ripple has to potential to reach to 10USD/Ripple. I was wondering how they go to that number. Must be some logic behind, if not ...it's just a way to pump the coin, no?

you are confusing, it's the other way around you can calculate the marketcap based on the supply, you can't calculate the value of a coin based on the marketcap, this doesn't make any sense because the marketcap is the value lol, but you estimate how much a coin can go high, based on many varaibility, like active dev, investors, volume, features etc...
3445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much maximum BTC can be sent in a single transaction? on: May 02, 2017, 03:50:47 PM
21,000,000.. max

Correct answer! But what about fees?

fees isn't correlated to how many bitcoin you send but the size of a transaction, you can send 21 millions bitcoin with the same fee as 1000
3446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's an airdrop? on: May 02, 2017, 03:48:42 PM
this section is the wrong one to post this message, but i can respond to you, an airdrop is a way to distribute coins to that were premined, it's the same thing as a giveaway or ico without the needs to buy
3447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: May 02, 2017, 10:11:05 AM
so how are the things going here? what is the final algorithm for HLM and when the swap will take place, i'm stackign up a nice pile of spreadcoin, for the future, because i believe the current value it's very undervalued, this deserve for me to be in $10-50 range when everything will be done correctly, but i'm now very interested if this HLM will be mined with gpu, would be sad if will be asic only
3448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH overtake BTC in market cap? on: May 02, 2017, 10:06:52 AM
I think it will.

it's up to 25% of BTC marketcap and doesn't look like it's going to slow down. There are literally HUNDREDS of apps now being written for it. It wouldn't surprise me if it happens towards the end of the year.

I suppose the general question is "Are smart platforms more valuable than raw currencies?"

but bitcoin is not going down either, but it's raising, bitcoin have the support of all country and some are regulating it like a currency how can ETH compete with this? ethereum also have a bigger supply which make the market cap more inflationary, if you want to compare ETH to bitcoin you need to compare the same total amount of coins, and ETH have 4x the one of bitcoin
3449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to do the calculation of "Mrai to USD or Bitcoin"? on: May 02, 2017, 10:02:44 AM
I joined a captcha-solving team yesterday and have earned 19.36 Mrai so far. How much USD or Bitcoin does that equal to? I searched on Google and didn't find an online calculator. I would appreciate if someone could teach me how to calculate that. Thanks.

a very low amount, buyers ar enow buying for 200 satoshi only and you like 20, this is 4k satoshi, this value is nothing, the price was higher before but chinese captcha farmer destroyed the value by spamming the faucets with 10k or more solved catpcha per day, impossible to compete, the coins have potential though, because it's not based on fee, and confirmations are instant i liek this
3450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart city build in China in Hangzhou on: May 02, 2017, 09:58:48 AM
what is a smart city? 500k etheruem are only 20 million usd, can you build a city or whatever is this smart city? if by smart city you mean a market on the web i guess it's possible but if you mean a mini town i think no, not enough money
3451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Real User Case Alts do you HODL for Long? on: May 02, 2017, 09:56:07 AM
now that every alt is pumped i'm holding many altcoin, i think miners ar enot dumping anymore like before, they are all holding makign the value raising so much, it's better to hold as many as possible for now, great probability for a big return, out of 10 alt that you hold at least one will do 10x, and this mean that even if you lose on all the other, which i find it impossible you still have your money back
now i'm holding

hodl
spreadcoin
veltor
bitcore
picoin
atomcoin
3452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Launched: PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN=AIRDROP] on: May 01, 2017, 04:47:46 PM
looks like we are pulling off novaexchange.

can we add picoin at coinmarketcap?

i think only after you hit exchange and have enough volume, for now this coin have no volume and value you can't add it to coinmarketcap
3453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VLT | Veltor, lean blockchain, lightening network, below 1mil cap, 25mil target on: May 01, 2017, 04:39:00 PM
this is one another coin under my radar, look promising and 0.01 is doable but 0.05 it's only for coins that attract big investors, i'm not sure veltor is in this position, LN + segwit will help a lot to find these investors but you require more features like masternodes or anonymous to have big money in play
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: May 01, 2017, 04:36:08 PM
if this is was indeed my last day fo my life, why wasting it in gamble site? this is stupid, even if i would win it would not change the fact that i'm going to die, i prefer to use those 24 hours to do something more fun, the funniest thing that i can ever do in one day, which is not winning money randomly but some crazy shit like fucking as many girls as possible or jumping from an airplane with a parachute, stuff like that
3455  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Bitcoin dice strategy - winning 50$ in 2 Minutes! ON Pocketdice. on: May 01, 2017, 04:31:32 PM
That is just a lucky yolo, you wasted my time watching this silly video, there is no good winning strategy in gambling, it all comes to luck eventually

it's true, the problem is some people are so damn lucky that they keep winning for a long time and thinking that they developed a strategy lmao, they absolutely ignore that they performance it's not feasible at all, and in the end if they continue they will lose everything in one sit, a good startegy only work if many can successfully use it for a long time, but if a strategy work the casino will probably close the site
3456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When altcoin rally will finish? on: May 01, 2017, 04:28:44 PM
unbelievable that everything is rising these days. You can throw a dart blindfolded and can't miss

i really want to know who are all these new investors that are wasting their money at crypto and pumping everything, we never get the chance to know who they are, they keep losing money but they also keep pumping, maybe they some times win on some small coins and think they have the right to throw again money at another cryptocoin, the true winner are only miners that dump on these people
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: C-CEX delisting the following coins! on: May 01, 2017, 04:26:08 PM
Better than keeping them on life support like Yobit does. If they don't have necessary volume, they are not interesting for users, and making confusions, they must be delisted. Only we can discuss about limits and what is minimal volume.

yobit use them for scamming, they do that stupid 0.1 volume pump and dump with bot and think that investors are so retarded to jump in and buy lol, i don't think they realized that it will never work, i still see it now with small shit coin, which will never be delisted
3458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin life and investment safety on: May 01, 2017, 09:53:01 AM
Many coins die after a short run for different reasons. How long should it take for a coin to prove that it is going to stay, that it is strong and worthy of investment?

tough question, because there are coins that lasted long enough like feathercoin but then they were dumped and now they don't hold much value, and some other that can still kick ass and are new one because they are based on something else that was successful, but as a general rule, 3 years should be good to say that a coins is not going to get destroyed, it depend also on the marketcap invested, eth for example it's too strong to die already
3459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When altcoin rally will finish? on: May 01, 2017, 09:50:55 AM
When do you think this altcoin rally will come to an end?

why? are you worried about investing thinking about big dumping? better to take the opportunity and do as many profit as you can why it last, this could or not could be a bubble no one know, but this thign have no precedent, i don't remember any increase like this in the past, lead me think that this is not a bubble, because if you see the whole marketcap of the altcoin, there are billions invested, and billions of money can't simply vanish because investors got bored, i'm more prepared for a greater pump then this, i'm buying many cheap coins with lower price than 1000 satoshi, there is great profit ahead of us
3460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the most undervalued right now? (list) on: May 01, 2017, 09:48:09 AM
any altcoin that have an active dev, asic resistant and it's not on the top 10 coinmarketcap or even top 20, and has some nice roadmap is undervalued, oh and add no shitty ico and stupid distribution with unfair advantage from developers, i see only spreadcoin in this condition
