3441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2021, 10:39:41 PM
When it comes to cryptos or bitcoin in this case, hodling often offers you a greater chance of making some actual profits off your hodling. Should you be satisfied with the profits you've gotten on your hodl amount, you can sell but, never get jealous or remorseful when the market booms. If you must sell, youu can sell a fraction of it and it should be because, you have a problem that, other sources of your income should you have any is, most likely not to provide the needed fund to tackle that issue. Only then, can I advise you to sell as, bitcoin is far from reaching its full potent.

The Manchester United - Liverpool game was a very interesting and shocking one to me. Honestly, I expected Manchester United to win by one goal but they couldn't even show an existence against Liverpool. They were just trying to stay standing in the field but it was in vain. This was one of the worst performances of Manchester United in their history.
How could you imagine such a thing, @Manchester United winning by a goal. Its never possible, not at this point where Pep is on the nerves of Klopp over the second spot on the table and Chelsea isn't given any chances at all. I knew from the end of the Saturday games that, Manchester United were not going to win this round but could possibly beg or struggle for a draw. Sadly, Klopp was in no mood for a draw and whipped Manchester United to a 0-5 goals Liverpool win. My greatest annoyance is that Ronaldo is in this team, I really wish he never got to choose Manchester United for a second time.

On the  note of being one of there worst performance in history, I can agree with you on that. There seemed helpless today!
3443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 06:58:28 PM
This round is really exciting isnt it, we dont get to see this quite often. Chelsea scored 7 goals but of course they were expected to trash Norwich that currently sits at the bottom of the table so the main highlight for today is Watford
Yeah, it's really an exciting round in the EPL. So far, there have been 31 goals in total across all games played and only Chelsea 7-0 Norwich fixture that didn't get to register a goal. The rest games all played a both team score result and the game still got to cut out 3 draws from the 7 games played so far. So many goals in this round and we are still expecting some more tomorrow though, I don't see a lot of goals coming off the Manchester United vs Liverpool fixture but, I still believe, it would be a Liverpool win right there. It seems most gamblers in all markets are going to have something to go home with with this round (Goal, Draw and Win) markets were very much reflected!
3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 23, 2021, 06:48:01 PM
I haven't been much of a Bundesliga fan lately and that's because of the constant dominance of the Bayern Munich team in the league. It's becoming tiring for sure, you almost don't get disappointed at any instance. You breeze in and see them winning or topping the league at almost every point. I don't blame them for being this good but, some major changes is need in this league for some competitiveness. Leipzig was at it last season but, didn't get to succeed much as Bayern continued to be Bayern.

Today was yet another day for them to have beaten Hoffenheim to a 0-4 goals to Bayern Munich. Well, its often a good choice for bettors!
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 06:24:50 PM
Exactly, Liverpool is above the clouds and that gives Manchester United the ability to survive in its monotonous position. Once again, this is the most awaited match, because Liverpool already know that Menester United's condition is not optimal.
Besides that, bets are waiting for both clubs, so it's quite exciting to participate in placing bets. Personally I can not determine, both are my favorite club list. Lol
Without being sentimental on the possible results between a Mannchester United vs Liverpool fixture, I'll put my money on Liverpool.  It might prove to be a difficult game for sure but, I don't see Manchester United winning Liverpool, not by one chance. Klopp would be putting in all his best to archive this win or at least, not to loose as it would be a shift down from there league standing and Manchester City isn't the kind of team that jokes around holding the top spot. As it is now, they are top of Liverpool with there Brighton Hove Albion 1-3 Manchester City win. I'm a bit disappointed though, I naturally expected more goals given that, the 3 goals were a first half result.

Edited: FT. Brighton Hove Albion 1-4 Manchester City
3446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 05:16:40 PM
So much for early kick-offs in the EPL of late. Just a week ago, it was Liverpool with a 6-0 triumph and today, its Chelsea 7-0 win against Norwich. You can say, they set the pace for the day or week and thus far, Watford seem to have taken it. I almost thought of that game @Everton Vs Watford fixture to be a draw after seeing how the game was going but, Watford turned it around. It was a wonderful come back if you ask me. After conceiving an early goal, lost the first half and struggled in most part of the game, they still came up to score 3 goals in 10minutss to secure a win and bag all 3 points with J. King, scoring the second hat-trick for the league in today's match day live. Its a good one.

Manchester City is on the goal against Brighton Hove Albion and so far, they've managed to net 3 goals. Let's see if they create a scoreline like Chelsea.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 02:56:14 PM
In fact, this is a completely logical score when the team in first place plays against the team in last place. Another thing is that such a number of goals is quite rare for football matches.
Hilarious! What a way to put it, lol... this got to me in a funny way, seriously! Should we look at it critically, it seems true and logically as stated. I mean, what would anyone have expected when the best team thus far in the EPL plays against the weakest. Its not just a 3 point win result but also, a ridiculous beat down and Chelsea did just that even without a full first team squad. Thomas Tuchel have undoubtedly grown into the league and have made Chelsea such a threat that, no team could possibly ignore. 3 goals in the first half and another 4 goals in the second. Rear occurances in the EPL which is presumably one of the most difficult leagues there is.
3448  Other / Meta / Re: Is bumping a thread every 24h allowed? on: October 23, 2021, 09:11:57 AM
Not all rules a verbally stated on the forum. There are ethics for which we can apply using common sense. The form might not have stated that bumming a post after a definite time frame is wrong neither has it stated that, bumping threads must or should follow a time frame limit but, common sense should apply at this point.

A post might be so direct or almost understood and vice versa conclusively that, a single comment might not surface on it. That doesn't mean, the post wasn't seen or read. It is an indication that people's perception on it was conclusive and didn't require any of such comments.

Bumping of a post shouldn't be based on be based on the fact that, it wasn't seen or wasn't read just enough or it haven't been met with those for whom it was intended. For all we care, those for which it was intended might have seen it and still furge ahead without a reaction hence, you don't force it on them.

Reasons for which one might bump a post could range from:
* A reminder on a plea though, it could still come in a pm to the intended if any and necessary.
* A continued merit awarding thread
* An updated info on the thread
* A service thread of some sort
* ...and the least keeps going on and on.

No comments on post doesn't mean it wasn't seen or read enough. A quick check on the views list would clear your doubts on it and you find a qay to be at peace with yourself or even still, delete the post. Do Not Bump A Post Unnecessarily!
3449  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Ballon d'or 2021 - 30 Left - 29 November 2021⚽ on: October 23, 2021, 08:42:11 AM
It's really an unpredictable ballon d'or but if am to drop it's to top ten in no particular order
+Jorginho
+ Lionel Messi
+Cristiano ronaldo
+ Kylian mbappe
+ Erling halland
+ Kevin debruyne
+ Neymar
+N'golo kante
+ Ruben dias
+ Robert lewandowski
It's arose a lot of controversies lately, the Ballon D'or since Covid-19 where a lot of persons expected it to be the turn of Robert Lewandowski following his contributions with both Bayern Munich and his Poland but then, it had to come down to what it was. This time, I see a lot of competition for this as, its no longer the Messi Cum Ronaldo as it used to be. Both of the stars haven't been so awesome if you would ask me but, they've still made a worth while contribution.

Mean while, I think the top 10 list is literally it as, a lot of other names that made it to the top 30 seems like a mare decoration and probably, an appreciation of performance on the individual players. Nice one for every noted player to have made the list.
3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 23, 2021, 08:28:38 AM
Don't get too excited this is Arsenal we are talking about here, sooner or later they will return to default settings and the. #ArtetaOut campaign will begins.
Well, I was amazed yesterday, even though I knew I shouldn't be. I never expected Arsenal to exert a lot of dominance and control of the game like they did yesterday. In fact, I thought Arsenal was no longer capable of good football and even Aston Villa could undo them but, that wasn't the case with yesterday's fixtures. The team played like a team and got there 3 points but, I won't be so quick to  assume they are back on track.

It wasn't quite long ago august, they beat West Bromwich Albion to a 0-6 goal win in the EFL Cup, only to come and disgrace themselves, kill all hopes by loosing there next game in the EPL. So, the win is just another mirage as, a stronger team is all it needs to knock them off.

_Blackstar, DarkStar. Not insinuating anything though but, upon seeing the thread associated with rank up, my mind keep drifting back to DarkStar because, the user is sure to have archived the highestrank and yet would be awkward to see yet another rank up celebrations form that user.

Anyway, I'm sure to have seen _Blackstar around and it's of note that the user is doing quite well and you can tell from the accumulated merits. I thought it was down to 10merits or a bit higher but, 50merits is a lot high for a newly celebrated member. That'sto tell us that, the barrier to higher ranks for this user is just activities.

Congratulationsmust of all and see you up the ranks soon as time/activities permit. Cheers.

Welll, its not a bad theory neither would it not be effective but, it all depends on you finding the right project or coin first and that's the most difficult of all the requirements. It requires of you to be knowledgeably aware of news, market cap and volatility on the coin, following the team behind it closely on a social media and official sites, be sure of there idea and what they are bringing into the market coupled with the exchanges these  coins are to be  listed on and the list keep going on and on. Again,  2 months is most unlikely to be the required time to determine for a project's success. At times, it could take more than  that so, patience a d keen observation is another thing an investor should be armed with.

What i personally see with the Nigerian system is that Nigerians are so dependant upon their corrupt and incompetent government for virtually everything, this has left the populace that is filled with different classes of fanatics with a very poor orientation that is causing the continent a serious setback in all ramifications.
Perhaps it night seem so and that's becuase of how the government have made it so difficult for an average or second class citizen to survive in Nigeria.  The basic amenities that could encourage a good means to a livelihood are not even in place. You can imagine though, not peculiar with Nigeria but a few other nations as well, placing a ban on cryptos due to some sentiments they hot from wherever.  Thwarting it's citizens means to a fair or stable life because, they don't want them out of control, they enjoy the pyramidal scheme so much that, seeking liberation becomes a criminal offence. Its fvcked.

On the thread, I applaud Nigerians once more for the unity and strength shown in carty out that protect. It was an uncommon coordination that demonstrated the power in togetherness, lack of sentiments for religion and race, power of the social media and the power of the people. In peace, we would archive. One love.

I feel this post shouldn't be, seriously! How can someone make such a generalisation of the Republic people of America. Its just wrong and awkward. I'm sure, should OP's nationality be known, there would be some evil that could be traced to his or her nation and should someone generalise on it with regards to OP's person, it's most likely to be wrong and won't be acceptable on that ground by OP .

Besides, there is a pseudo idea to this heaven and hell thing and no one can really know for sure. We just happen to base our believes on records past down from time but no one can really ascertain in actual of its existence and where. So, let's be easy on it.
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 20, 2021, 09:44:48 PM
So many close matches to talk about but the highlight is definitely CR7's goal to complete the comeback. They also lead their own group after that thriller. Great job to the younger lads Rashford and Maguire too.
It's really a come back to talk about and indeed stole the highlight from other games looking at the fact that, they were 2 goals down from the first half and managed not just an equaliser but netting all 3 goals to secure a 3 point in the second half without any reply from the Italian side in a UCL game. It's not what you see everyday in football and the UCL at that to crown it all. Best still was CR7 coming to show his worth as a top player and giving Manchester United that important goal when it mattered the most. It was impressive his been thus far.

Finally, Barcelona gets to win a game. Its so ridiculous of them but then, they broke the yolk!

Yeah!

Juventus got a hard game but managed to score 1 goal and now they are basically qualified for the final stage!
Good recovery for Manchester and the Goat scored again!

Easy life for Chelsea and Bayern this turn.
So many last minute goals in this round. I could only imagine Juventus and Manchester United fixtures with ZenithSt. Petersburge and Atalanta. I thought they were already headed for a draw until the goals started turning up in the few minutes to the final whistle.
It's CR7 with a goalllllllllll, Manchester United now has the lead!

Never Banter Ronaldo until the referree blows the final whistle, he is on the GOAT level and seldom disappoints whenever the occasion requires him to step up. Great come back, I still feel Ole is not the man to lead Manchester United to Champions League victory with Ronaldo. They still need a better coach. This is the champions League, a come back is not always possible, sometimes it is best you start winning the game from the first whistle.
Ole is far from the man to coach Manchester United nor a team with CR7 on it. He makes the squad looks bad, seriously!
One team that surprised me just little though, its always been there way is Bayern Munich. After having 2 goals cancelled in the first half,  they sustained a single goal in most part of the second half and got 3 goals in less than 5 minutes, so much of a Bayern Munich!
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 20, 2021, 08:57:51 PM
I was with a friend today who was in a hurry to place his bet on some numbers that were sent to him for some football matches that he believes are fixed. I'm a bit confused how fixed matches work.
You were with your friend who claims that he got some random numbers that were sent to him and he was placing bets, you could have seen first hand whether he won or not and you could have asked him how he got them. It was far better than asking us here who does not have any idea how to find fixed matches  Tongue.
I think this is far from it. Your most unlikely to get an answer on how these games got fixed and the numbers went round. A magician never shows the what's beneath his sleeves, that would be letting the cat out if the bag. They tend to keep this a secrete for some 9bvious confidential reasons though, I doubt games are really fixed, its always a result of some deep prediction but then, the results can always go sideways as it is with predictions and betting. There would be lucks at times but, fixing bets is really rear especially in top leagues but possible in the minor leagues where you see a lot of dominance from from particular time.
3459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 20, 2021, 08:43:02 PM
It's an intense game indeed. For the first time, I think I see Ole trying to do the right sub and is actually getting results only that, the substitution should have come much earlier. Or perhaps, he would have played his best strategy from the start and then stretch it to see how far it could go. The Italian side Atalanta have always been a tough side to gamble with. Well, the game is far from over but the good news at the moment is, Manchester United is the pressing side and arr actually trying to create something with the few minutes left.

Edited: It's CR7 with a goalllllllllll, Manchester United now has the lead!

I attempted this some years back but, really didn't pick up with the vibe to keep it up but, its quite an interesting and enticing way to take up sports and gambling. Using actual football records and transfer statistics to assemble a team, place them on the pitch and predict results or anticipate there performance, get scores and then a rating of rating of sort. I see no reason why it's not suited for a discussion discussion the gambling board. As tips could be collected for those who fantasies on the game amongst others. It's a nice one @Trofo, good thinking.
