Pretty nice video of CEO of Apple Tim Cook saying he owns cryptocurrency.
So ApplePay accepting and allowing more crypto on their platform is looking promising.

But Elon does tend to seem like scum from time to time.
Just look at this article that Tim Cook of Apple stated that Musk tried to sell Tesla to Apple at one point in time.
https://9to5mac.com/2021/11/09/tim-cook-doesnt-recall-elon-musk-reaching-out
For a CEO saying he is all for his company and worked on the assembly line while sleeping at the office just to make deadlines this does make him look untrustworthy.

There was a poll he did on his twitter asking if he should sell 10% of his Tesla stock.
Price of TSLA immediately dropped.

Alot of parlays battered (including my picks on all the favorites to win) and many fantasy teams destroyed.
So I don't know how you can say it wasn't a disastrous weekend in the NFL.
Just look at the teams that won on this betslip:

Bengals, Cowboys, Saints and Bills were the strongest teams to take their rivals on for Sunday. But didn't deliver.

Anyways, Steelers managed to keep their winning streak at home alive with just a field goal separating the two.
Didn't know Tomlin as a coach for Pittsburgh has not beat the Bears ever before tonight.
They said 0-3 against Chicago, so good he broke that jinx by beating them tonight and congratulations to @ralle14 on knowing that Fields at the helm wouldn't go away from this match without putting alot of effort into his run up til the very end where it came down to a 60 yard field goal to win.
But that was asking to much from Chicago's kicker I guess.

@rodskee It's not really a tweet by him but you know what I am getting at with showing this.
That is what is intending to do if they do pass a bill to tax the heck out of the richest in the US.
He rather sell his stocks in Tesla and transfer it into bitcoin so to not need to pay the $50 billion (reported estimates if this law came into fruition) out of his own pocket for holding that asset in back taxes.

Bitcoin is pumping up and it is looking like it going for that run up to $100k by the end of the year.

Wait until it reaches $69k (not too long now!) then we will see alot of the strangest meme on this thread coming out of the woodwork. Grin
3448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: November 09, 2021, 02:18:59 AM
Did this tweet alone spur the 4% pump up in the bitcoin price when it was released?

He is definitely looking to do something in retaliation to the government stating they wish to tax the rich.
So he is looking for a outlet so to avoid doing so in curtailing the sell-off of his own companies stocks and putting it into bitcoin.

^^
This screencap should say it all for the weekend:

Absolutely disastrous if you bet on any of the matches over the weekend.
Just with that Jacksonville score line of 9-6 with them winning vs the Bills was enough to call it quits.
Your prediction on the Chicago game looks like a winner.
3450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt at Bitcoin ETF..You knew it was coming once BTC raised above ATH on: November 08, 2021, 08:55:46 PM
Santander bank in Spain is planning to launch it's own bitcoin ETF shortly after the US did.
https://cryptocurrencynewsroom.com/spain-is-preparing-for-the-launch-of-bitcoin-etf-by-banco-santander/

So it seemed to have a domino effect towards other countries to accept bitcoin as a currency.
But then the central bank steps in and wants some regulation imposed before this happens.

3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: November 08, 2021, 04:16:34 PM
It was a really good UFC with the favorites in the main card winning their matches, even though Thug Rose was considered the underdog while being the champion offered by most bookies was sort of weird to see. I had here while she was 2.08x odds but seen it rise as high @2.11x. It fluctuated through the day but never dipped below 2.00x so that was a pure value bet all day long. And glad you jumped on it @buwaytress! Wink
Periera was the only one I believe that got a K.O and had their match end early out of all the main cards.
It was an amazing knockout win in the 2nd round and was disappointed it was only 1.66x odds to predict which round the K.O would occur.
So with his UFC debut and the only guy to knock out his kickboxing adversary Adesanya there he came to the UFC to come after his belt.
And from what everybody saw I think he will have a chance very soon.

Usman was of course Usman winning the fight but surprised he didn't knock him out (it was so close in the second round) for all the harassing about his father from Covington just before the fight during the conference.
Chandler losing the Gaethje was also a no-brainer but of course a no value bet in that if you didn't have some major amount on them to win.
Overall it was a decent UFC with no complaints.

The real funny moment was one fighter giving his opponent a round house kick knocking him out and then flipping and landing on his bottom.
Just like Kung-fu panda would do.
Now that was a highlight moment. The one who he was fighting even got a good laugh out of it, giving him a high five on getting the win in such a strange way like that because these were heavyset guys.
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 08, 2021, 04:02:16 PM
CSGO has been MIA for over a year anyhow, it is not a proper tournament if its not head to head in the same arena.   The game is different online without the low tolerances pro players perform with.
Navi just demolished the only team I thought could stop them.   G2 are good but the teams they just beat to get here weren't contenders to win overall, they just outperformed and then G2 put them back on the shelf.    Unless G2 have kept back strats for a few maps to beat Navi and Navi gets knocked off their horse and is in some disarray then G2 should not be winning.    I'll bet Navi so long as the odds dont get too far off, either team can still win in theory.
Its just that Gambit should have taken it to 3 maps but had no chance because Navi can confidently win on so many different maps, where is their weakness to exploit; G2 must find it.
A 2 map final will be disappointing, I'm willing to bet on 3 maps I think Gambit did falter in their performance some.
That was an amazing Majors Final for the PGL and it did look as if it was going to 3 maps with Navi being down 14-9 I think it was at one point.
But then Navi turned it up a notch and got it to overtime to take it in just 2. But as you said usually this shows utter domination of a team but they were looking to drop the map. So with that comeback it was far from being a boring one.
Just amazing play by all on Navi to solidify the win and show they are the best in the counterstrike genre as of now.
The arena setting was brilliant looking and having it full with fans was a welcome site and added so much to the atmosphere opposed to watching players in their bedrooms on a webcam during their past tournaments a full year year ago til now.
The fireworks after every round won was a great touch!

Too right @boltz and @NeuroticFish. Spot on analyst of how the race unfolded for those drivers.
I just knew Perez wouldn't let the home fans down and he did take the lead from Max on lap 34 so it was well worth it hearing on Verstappen of conceding the lead to his partner. As he proclaimed.
Excellent race and had my prediction guessed correctly on the Sportsbet.io Ann thread of how it would finish.
Max, Hamilton, Perez in that order.
A Red Bull sandwich if you want to give it a name.

Some qualifying race today.
The main takeaway for me was when Max called the two guys(I think one of them was his partner Perez) who were tangled up with each other in a corner and he was just passing them calling one of them an idiot. Because it made him lag behind by a tenth of a second or something like this. So he starts in P3 for tomorrows main race.
One of them was his partner Perez.
Also a crash took out Stroll so he is done.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 07, 2021, 12:36:37 AM
To be honest, I've dropped out of eSports for about a year now, and I don't even know who is good now to choose my favorite, who can tell you who is worth looking at in CS and LoL?
Well for CS:GO I would have to say Navi is pretty high up there along with Astralis.
Watching them doing a 2-0 and not just winning both maps in today's PGL semifinals but with huge difference in winning rounds going 16-3 for the last map.
For league, I am not so familiar with. So maybe somebody else who frequents the thread can give you a better answer than I could.

Adesanya's old nemesis back in his kickboxing days is making a premier appearance in the UFC 268 tomorrow.
So what does he think of a possibility of meeting the only guy who has knocked him out twice in a professional fighting venue coming for his championship in the future.
He'll need to win this match in the octagon at Madison square garden first.

Wow thanks for the information as I have never been into trading cards, sports or otherwise.
I do remember the garbage pail kids ones when growing up inwhich these remind me of.

So these are essentially the old-school way of NFTs with their special different rarity and small window of ordering them you are referring too?
