3441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 26, 2021, 08:00:42 PM
and the websites will be affected if legal action is taken against them because they did not prevent the user from playing even though it is prohibited in their country.

A user can always find a way to access even a restricted site. A website even with powerful tracking tools can't give 100% assurance that it won't be used by those users who are from prohibited countries. There will be no legal action that will be imposed on these websites since in the first place, they don't control it.

For prohibited countries and region concerns, a website should put a noticed directly on the registration page so that new users are aware. While at the same time, if they detect that the IP was coming from a prohibited country, make it inaccessible. In some cases, a website can still be accessed and users can even sign up and register even they are from no supported countries.
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 26, 2021, 07:05:47 PM

It's a no-brainer for me to think that Manny Pacquaio just wants to entertain people and not after the money.

He won't just fight anybody today without a guarantee of a big return. He's wise and taking his current status as an advantage to always get the better deal since he's conditioned and sure to himself that he can still fight and won against any boxer.

Saying he wants to entertain people is already a common thing. I doubt he's not after the money just because he is already rich. Pacquiao is not that dumb. Smiley
3443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 26, 2021, 06:51:25 PM
Anyone here thinks that Slovenia has a chance to win the gold medal?

I will say YES because I'm just biased lol.

I already mentioned that I was a long-time Dallas Mavericks and since it was "Luka", I'm following Slovenia's rally here in the Olympics. The same as what I did back when Dirk Nowitzki is still playing for Germany.

Looking forward to seeing them winning their first gold medal in basketball in the Olympics even chances might be slim to others.
3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: July 26, 2021, 05:56:56 PM

Casimero to Rigondeux: Let’s engage‍ and fight

Another shot again from Casimero throwing a statement to Rigo.

This time, Casimero wants Rigo to fight him blow-by-blow. Meaning more pure punches to entertain the crowd. However, that should be Casimero's task, how to break Rigo's defense. There is no way Rigo will change his style. So if Casimero wants that solid exchange of punch, he should find a way to make Rigo not rely on his defense and will also put some show too.

"Rigondeux, fight me. Don’t run. I want a fight, you know. Because Rigondeux runs. People who are watching are sleeping." Cheesy

For the first time in history, our country PH now finally gets its 1st Gold Medal in the Olympics.

Hidilyn Diaz - 55kg weightlifting - Women's Division

That sport is underrated here in our country as the Sports Commission here is focused on sports that we don't have any chance to become dominant globally. Sad reality here. Anyways, congrats PH peeps.

It's not possible that Abueva would play with Vic Manuel because the Phoenix would be full of bigs and will not have good guards, let's just say what the management did is to make this team better and we can confirm that once the conference is over.

Actually, it has something to do with the financial status of the Phoenix franchise that's why Calvin Abueva got traded. He already inked a max contract if you remember but out of nowhere, he was traded to Magnolia. Should be a good tandem with Vic Manuel now that Matthew Wright is sidelined. And a contender if they will play 3 all healthy.

But moving on, Phoenix is still in good hands as long as they are all adjusting especially against the SMC Giants.

I will bet for Magnolia here because IMO the Gin Kings has still chemistry issues with CStand on board.

Yes, agree that CStand is still adjusting with the current phase.

In his first game with the Kings, he is not used to not getting the ball mostly compare to his former team where he is the main point of their offense. He said that in an interview. In their last game, look like Coach Tim grant his desire and Cstand played on his usual playing time and was able to get a good production. He might keep up with that phase for his first Manila Clasico game.

It's not easy at all predicting this matches, and I remember in last round I only got one right, Argentina lost to Australia and Egypt played just 0:0 with Spain.
Japan won few days ago but I just can't believe they can do it again in match with Mexico.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

Thanks for the share.

That will be really tough obviously but a free bet is still a free bet.

There's also a 4-3-Free bet between Japan and Mexico in a later's tip-off at Group A. Mexico is coming from a dominant win against France 4:1. I doubt the host Japan can handle them.
3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 24, 2021, 08:08:38 PM
The American national team was very bad at the last World Cup and now they are looking for redemption.
The NBA season just ended, a few days ago, and because of that, the American team struggled in the preliminaries, but with each new game, they will be more ready and better.

Team USA has won the Gold medal in the last Olympics.  Maybe what you mean is the result of the Team USA rally in the last FIBA World Cup?

And preliminary round will just start with around 4 hours to go as I'm typing this. Maybe what you are talking about is the exhibition matches weeks ago where Team USA lose to Nigeria and Australia on which should not be a big deal.

Anyways, the tip-off will start between Iran and the Czech Republic in Group A.
3449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: July 24, 2021, 07:23:14 PM

It can consider as human nature in gambling. We are not aware that we are now reaching our limit but still continue to gamble.

Let's put it this way; why should we stop if we are on a winning streak? The luck is there so take chances as it won't come regularly. The same goes for losing, why should we stop if our losses are not covered yet.

In the end, people have no choice but to gamble more unless the sense of responsibility to stop will emerge more.

Halftime at the moment between Phoenix and Alaska with Phoenix leading by 11 points. Seems another upset is looming in the horizon huh.

And Phoenix got the win! You have won your ML bet. No Wright, No problem as Vic Manuel leads the team.

Not just him but his teammates also step up on that game. Vic Manuel is playing like he's not a veteran. Phoenix needs that kind of player as having a dominant forward is one of the best assets of any team in the league.

Wright's ankle sprain is projected to feel better in a week or two.

What kind you say about Giannis post game interview, he somewhat throw some on KD and Lebron winning rings with other super stars (super teams).

I can't find the part of the interview about that. Is this the post-game interview of him in front of the media?

Or is this the video about a debate between analysts Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman, and Kendrick Perkins whether they would want to have Kevin Durant’s two rings with the Golden State Warriors by joining a super team or have Giannis Antetokounmpo’s one ring? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFhcZ1Miluo
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 24, 2021, 06:54:30 AM
It already happened in other sports AFAIR, like in the NBA, in the opening line, one team is the favorites but where there's bad news that could potentially affect the performance of the favorites, the odds flip and the underdog become the favorites, so bookies have no problem with that.

But in that particular case, it's a team. Here, it's a 1v1. If there's an injury happened, the fight might be canceled or delayed until both teams are 100% full health. Unlike in team matches that the game will still continue.

Anyways, based on the discussion, you guys are still expecting a turnout of underdog becoming a favorite on this match? Almost less than a month left, I don't think there will be a big change on odds.

Any odds over @2.5 is a great bet for Pacquiao. Stake.com currently provides a @2.7 odds for Pacquiao. The best odds I've seen so far with only a slight difference to other sportsbooks.
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 24, 2021, 06:30:58 AM
but many of the NBAs best players opted out of being on the team ( Lebron, Curry, Harden, Thompson etc etc).

But even with that, their lineup is still a powerhouse composed of best-of-the-best NBA Superstars much especially that Middleton and Booker are now present. Their bench cast is even deep.

But as a Dallas Mavericks fan for a long, I'm following Luka Doncic's Slovenia.

I'm sure they can handle all teams in their bracket, Group C. Hoping to see them past the preliminary round.

Kiefer Ravena gets PBA nod to play in Japan B.League
Ravena has been allowed to play with Lakestars for a year and then return to the PBA and suit up for NLEX anew.

What an offer. Allowed to play overseas, being paid there, then still have a team in the PBA once he returns. However, that will limit Ravena to continue playing overseas after a year. If the goal is to really leave PBA then switch careers abroad, it's best for me to just finish everything in PBA so he can continue with the Lakestar for more years. But prior to that, the contract should be multi-season so the next following years are secured.

Anyways, the deal was now finalized and that is, Ravena was only allowed to play for 1 season with the Lakestars. This just proved that everything can be settled properly if there are official negotiations.

I'm just wondering when this will be starting? After the current PBA All-Filipino Cup?
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 24, 2021, 03:17:55 AM
Then again if I were to be betting in friendly matches I will put my money on the underdog if they are at play because of the reasons I have stated above. They can play as relaxed as they want while I will get my free win at the end of it.

No such thing as a free win even stats will tell you that underdogs are far better on winning rates compare to favorites in a friendly match. As you said, both teams are relaxed, which means the possibility of those players on the underdog team might also not spend time playing much.

That's the reason I don't bet on friendly matches as there's no bearing and honestly more risky to bet compared to a regular and actual match. I can compare it to my approach towards NBA Pre-Season games wherein some teams are playing and test their rosters prior to the actual start of the season. I'm only betting here with some considerations.
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: July 24, 2021, 03:04:03 AM

Casimero throws a punch statement again against Rigo, well his usual style. Smiley

“When I beat Rigondeaux on August 14, he’s going to retire. He’s finished,” – Casimero
“I can guarantee that everyone is going to see the best of me on August 14. I perform best under the bright lights,” – Rigondeaux

Rigo is the slight favorite to win the match but some analysts are looking forward for Casimero's win via TKO on which I doubt will happen. For sure Rigo's defense will be surely more prioritized as he's not like before wherein he can throw strong body shots to his opponent while doing some good defense.
3457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 24, 2021, 02:50:27 AM
If they don't regulate this certain concerns about the addicts from gambling, in my own opinion they're held liable for that responsibility. Losses from anonymous people who kept pouring their money for them without even getting rewards or any dividends. They must act for this certain situation, because the damage they caused is more harmful to anyone who's having families to feed.

Who told these people to gamble anyways? Are they forced by the gambling operators? On what part should they be liable? They have the respective terms for all their players regarding responsible gambling on which I doubt it will be taken note of.

If there's a thing called perks, benefits, dividends for any certain losses, it might end up in a much worst scenario since that will encourage people to gamble more. Even how good the initiative of CSR's, they can't control what's on the gambler's mind. They will gamble no matter what as the interest and temptation are always there.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: July 24, 2021, 02:25:41 AM
So its already  legal and its allowed which is really a very rare thing for government to do so.

It's only rare in countries that don't legalize the proper use of cannabis. However, in the USA, the legalization of it already takes place for a long time now. According to this article, the whole process of legalization starts from 1996 until now on which five of these laws especially stand out because of their significant impact.

It's legal by papers there so Vegas was able to deploy the lounge on their casinos without any problem.
3459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 24, 2021, 12:49:46 AM
But in future i think that developers will implement new kinds of gambling, maybe axie races or something like that.

Again, it's not about adding in-game gambling within Axie. It's far from happening. They will not implement new kinds of gambling.

They will set up a tournament or event as Esports wherein teams or players will join. There's a prize pool and the gambling there is; viewers, audience, even those without knowledge of Axie will be able to place a bet like a usual betting in sports or any events if some betting sites will list them.

This pandemic brought a lot of gamblers online so I won't be surprised if Axie will develop some sort of betting on their site itself. And this can easily expand to other classic casino games.

I doubt. Let alone other betting sites do that.

Much better to just focus on what's their game model is all about.
