3441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's highest price before the Year End's on: December 19, 2020, 07:37:17 PM
Hi since we already broke past $20K and we have been around $23K for awhile I want to ask my co-forum members what do you think the highest price would be?

And since I don't want to create more threads I also want to ask your idea on what price would be the peak price before it gets a price correction?
A question that has the answer that no one can never know.

But if it's just asking about our opinions and ideas how much it would take for bitcoin to correct. Then, the price would likely be around $22k-$24k. It just topped $24k. We might see the start of correction but if there's still no sign of it, we just have to wait until it comes.

While we're on it, enjoy the ride while it lasts. And for the highest price, we could see it at $25k just like how it has surprised us on $24k a while ago. But it might come like a flash.

The forum should be enough if you want to get rid of scammers messaging you. There's a filter through the forum which anyone can report a scam that's bothering them or unstoppable messaging them.

There are a lot of good people volunteering and reporting when they've found a scam. This is like the safe haven for most of the newbies in the crypto space at least for those who are serious to learn more about cryptocurrencies. Not only those people that are into ICOs, defis or any project that just comes once in a blue moon. You are also free to ask questions that you want to know because everyone can contribute to what you want to know or if there's a topic that confuses you.
3443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What a great performance GRT - The Graph. on: December 18, 2020, 10:09:41 PM
IIRC, I have seen a headline about this coin and that could be the reason of why it's moving positive lately. Can't say if it will be in a continuous moving up but this is the reason why it's surging.

3444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All time High $23k : What is secret of this High . on: December 18, 2020, 08:45:09 PM
I am Not Understanding This high

17th December In Morning $22k When I Check in Noon Time $23K It Super High.

Super high as it is but that wouldn't be the limit of bitcoin. We've seen it broke within a day just to reach from $19k to $23k. What's more if it will break $50k-$100k and onwards soon? You don't have to understand why it's high as what you see but the only thing you need to understand is that there's much demand and it just keeps on increasing.

There's no secret why bitcoin is pumping. It's been a lot for this year and just you see from the bottom that it was, it has climbed to the ATH through these months and it only needed less than a day to break its past ATH. Ask a different question, something like if you have stocked some bitcoins or mbtcs on your wallets.
3445  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 18, 2020, 08:04:47 PM
By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin. Was it the perfect time? What is the prediction of price for now with reason?!
Determine yourself why you've bought at the top. Are you treating it as a long term hold or you just want to cash out because the market has been moving faster than ever and just reached another all-time high? I'll tell you what are the most predictions for 2021, not now.

$100k is the price that I mostly see for the possible to happen on 2021. That may look seems to be a high price but we'll not know which is exactly going to be reached by bitcoin again. It has reached $23k and you bought at a not good time if we're talking about current price. But you only need to think when and what price you'll be selling it. You can buy again with the strategy of cost averaging to at least remove your doubts and keeps stacking sats on your portfolio.
3446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many projects still making tokens with such large supply? on: December 17, 2020, 11:48:29 PM
This has often been my question so far
We all know that if a project has a small supply, the price will be very expensive in the exchange, but why are so many new projects still making trillions of supply? do those who have a large supply don't want expensive token prices in the market?
Are they too greedy so that make a large supply?
The low supply capped tokens started with the Yearn.Finance and other Defi projects followed them to have a low supply but not all of them as successful as YFI.

But during the ICO period, too many altcoins have large supply because it seems to be effective to them. Just like as XRP and Ethereum but it doesn't really make sense if the project has a high or low supply. What matters with them is the demand and its usage.

Whether they have billions or 10,000 supply in circulation or on its economy but if it doesn't have real use, it's a useless token. Demand and use is what really matters.
3447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may face a price correction before reaching to $25K on: December 17, 2020, 10:47:43 PM
It's normal that bitcoin get to correct first before reaching the peak that it has made. Just like what it did when it has first reached $19k again for the time after 3 years, we've got to break $20k after it has corrected at the price of $16k.

It is a very necessary analysis to look at that matter if you're aiming for a more realistic price height for bitcoin. $25k is just another peak but it could also do the same rapid increase that it did when we're surprised at $20k, it did $21k and so on. The support that op is telling is secure price which we'd love to see and won't see a bottom of it anymore.
3448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regret in cryptocurrency investment? on: December 17, 2020, 10:06:27 PM
My biggest regret is always selling at the earliest point. The price was deemed to be low during those days that I've sold. But it's not my entire crypto holdings so that's why I'm still in good position even a bull run comes. But that's just me, I feel regret when I remember those days, a few years ago and even some days of this year. It's also a regret not to buy at those earliest days.

That's it.

Others can also connect with that regret and mistake but we have things to consider why we sell and with this pandemic, I'm still grateful that holding some crypto, bitcoin and other altcoins helped me a lot to buy things that I've need although it wasn't a perfect time to sell when I've sold.
3449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why current Bitcoin price pump doesn't get enough media attention? on: December 17, 2020, 09:26:37 PM
I follow CNBC Crypto and they're covering the pump of bitcoin. The other mainstream news are on it as well. I've tried to google "bitcoin $20000" and the results were this at the top.

3450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 17, 2020, 08:45:17 PM
"You need a strategy"
Everyone told me from day 1 "You need a strategy" - but I simply didn't know how to make one. After losing 90% of my account balance, I took a break from trading for 6 months. Then I came back with a new mindset and reviewed some of my past trades.
Just as  I think before but you know what, most traders are dealing with hardship in making their trades profitable. In the real situation, traders get a lot of failures before getting the right mixture of strategy in order for them to attain profitability.

I'm done with trading and it's not that profitable to me, well at least its the day trading that I'm mentioning. And the strategy that I've learned from the others is no other than holding. Accumulating and holding works great for me and I don't want to get rekt again by doing day trading.

Yeah, trading is difficult and it hurts me to see how many people are losing lots of money. Thats why I think everyone needs a strategy - to know what is the worst case scenario and what is the best case scenario.

For me this was a game-changer. Because I realized that, with the right strategy, I didn't even have to risk that much money but still have the same potential.

One of my most important rules that I use to stay in the green is to NEVER lose more than 2% on a trade, never never never. I always set the stop loss at 1-2%. In that way, I will never panic and if I realize that I have too many losses in a row, I pause my trading and evaluate why I keep losing.
Setting stop loss is a good strategy. When I was newbie, I don't know about this feature the exchanges have and that's why I'm losing more than what I have.

It is a good deal that you only set it from 1%-2%. I've seen others are putting it above from 5%-10% which surely will hurt you whenever you just keep seeing the market don't go along with what you're trying to trade. It is an interesting strategy when you've said that you don't have to risk that much money as 1%-2% isn't a lot compare to what me and other newbies did before at least when I'm still day trading.

You don't skills in airdrop.

I'm not a fan of it because I see them as not worth it to takw time and effort. But I know that there are some that is worth it to take after its price explodes.

A few of those airdrops are hydro and Uniswap. They come in a rare time out of those thousands airdrop that you see.
3453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly 12% transaction fee on the ERC-20 platform! on: December 16, 2020, 01:12:30 AM
It is because of the same thought that their money would multiply in an instant through that pre sale. These investors would burn not just their money for investing to auch project but also in fees.

Well, it is their own choice and action and probably they have seen a factor that's worthy for them to invest while us, we can't.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 Cryptos Biggest Winners and Losers on: December 15, 2020, 07:20:12 AM
Do you think there will be a bomb coming in before the year will end?
A bomb that will likely flush the market again just like what it did on 2018 and early this year? It's a question that everybody likes to us but there's no definite answer into it. The article doesn't show a lot of winners and losers. It only shows the 4 known cryptos.

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Litecoin
  • XRP

Most cryptos have gone through the winning list, not to mention those nearly dead altcoins because they're no longer valid and obviously, they belongs to the losers.

The most recognizable biggest win is for bitcoin. $4900 on March 2020 and now, $19000+ going to $20000.
3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usdt usdc and btc price on: December 15, 2020, 06:38:27 AM
Sorry but btc price really depends on Only how many stable coins been minted and used to buy bitcoins with big buy orders.

So we can say Bitcoin price comes from the mercy of the USDT 😀
That's an absurd description for the price mover of bitcoin. We can conclude that those minted stable coins do really have a contribution to its price but it doesn't fully depend on those and trend have changed a lot this time. We're not anymore living in 2017 where Tether minted a lot.

How about those institutions that are buying millions worth of bitcoin? they did used stable coins for buying it?  and everyone that's buying bitcoin with the use of cash and other pairs of bitcoin for trading it, not the stable coins.
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blocked funds in a poker room on: December 15, 2020, 05:45:46 AM
Does bodog have sort of subreddit community or bigger than that? I agree to the suggestion above by getting the sentiment of the bigger community that they have to get their attention and also to push them to act necessarily according to what's right. Could also be the biggest community for poker players worldwide but I don't know which is which.

Sorry for your loss Isaac.

I always wonder why a poker site would hold a player's fund. Isn't it in the interest of a poker club to process everything quickly? A poker site can never lose as they let the players play against each other.
I've read the story of OP through back reading of past pages, you get to see what exactly this poker site and him did.

Dear everyone, we kindly invite you to check out our latest post about the Tranched Value Securities. Be careful - it's a long-read and very detailed Wink

Everything you wanted to know about BTC TVS but were afraid to ask!

It was indeed a long read but very much full on content and information including the history.

I have no idea about the TVS and that's what I've learned from that post. And I'll get to know more about it as it kicks my curiosity to know more about it.

Thank you for for your kind comment. Indeed TVS was under the radars for the past year, as we were applying for patent, and intentionally didn't announce anywhere (apart from some academic research papers when it was safe to do so).

Feel free to ask any questions either here, or in the tread about TVS - where you feel more comfortable with, because i believe other people might have similar questions Smiley And it can be very useful to everyone to learn how they can get rid of the risk that BTC drops in market price sometimes, yet have ability to preserve the upside potential.

Yes, I will.

I'm like a kid now that's researching for more of it but I'll simply follow this thread and the other one you've made.

I'll definitely ask you guys if I've got some question or there is a thought that I can't understand regarding the TVS.

7.  You can also learn more about Bitcoin with the help of internet.
This is a no brainer mate.

Most information are found on the web, on the internet. And those information are just a click away. As an internet money as described by people who don't own bitcoin yet, it is actually the basic thing you need to know more about bitcoin.

However there are books that are published to teach bitcoin for beginners but not everyone who is interested to know more about it are bookworms. And it is much easier to access resources in the web.
3459  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be very careful with every steps you take on: December 14, 2020, 07:30:35 AM
Newbies should not use google search for visiting exchanges, casinos, online wallets or any crypto website wherw they have funds deposited. Phishing site that is allowed by google ads will display.

Google is at fault on this matter. They shouldn't allow such phishing links to avail their ads space. Even ponzi's, they are also not filtering it before an approval to show in google top results.
