3441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Inoue vs. Moloney - October 31 on: October 29, 2020, 10:34:24 AM
Waiting for Inoue -Casimero...

Just read an article where Inoue said that he want to fight Casimero after he defeated Moloney, seems to me that the antics of Casimero is working and he is now under the skin of Inoue. But of course this Casimero vs Inoue fight would still need the nod of Bob Arum which i hope he will.

Great news! Casimero should be happy now and will be preparing for that fight but I hope Inoue will also prepare for his coming fight so he can defeat his opponent in a convincing way like Casimero did to his.

That's what we wanted to see in fight thing, Inoue destroying Moloney and then sends a message to Casimero's team that he is not afraid to fight because that's what Casimero's camp is telling the boxing world. And it seems that Casimero really got under the skin of Inoue that's why he is eager to fight the Filipino.

Just a few days from now and we will find it out and wait straight from Inoue that he is targeting Casimero for next year and we hope that boxing managers are going to set it up.

If that will push thru, curious what will be the odds for Inoue - Casimero. Can Inoue really follow the path of Pacquiao?

https://sports.yahoo.com/power-puncher-naoya-inoue-following-manny-pacquiaos-path-to-boxing-glory-190952608.html

But before anything else, let's watch what's gonna happen inside the ring between Inoue and Moloney few days from now.

Don't worry about the odds if you are a Casimero fan becasue he is the underdog of this fight.
About Casimero following Pacquiao's footstep, I think he will be following but he can't surpass the success of Pacquiao which is the only 8 division world champion.
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 28, 2020, 10:44:29 PM
I'm sure Lebron doesn't mind that, as long as he and Davis will be healthy in the next 4 years and bring more championship to the Lakers, he will be down with that.
Lebron will be almost 40 years old after the next four seasons. Undecided  IIRC, his contract with the Lakers will expire after the next two years, and he has the option to become a free agent in the 21/22 season. Who knows, maybe he will retire after that.
I hope that he won't.

He's still a lot to offer for any team where he's going next. But I hope that if his contract expires with LA, he's going to renew it and will end up retiring with them.

I think he'll do that for Mamba.
We cant tell but it would be great if he would stick out with LA until he retires but who knows on what inside to his mind and he might be considering on switching to other
teams again and plan to get some ring. 4 years might be short but age of 40 doesnt mean that you would necessarily to retire.  Smiley
Yeah,

We will never know what's on the mind of Bron but we all know how he's respecting the Mamba. Maybe some tribute before his retirement would actually happen.

And that's mindblowing if he decides to stay until the end with LA.

At his age now, I think he will just retire with the Lakers as long as he will have some star to stay with him like Davis.

With the last championship, he made a history already.

3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 28, 2020, 11:32:06 AM
My dear no matter how careful you are, the tendency of NOT falling for scam project is limited. you can not totally avoid everything. if you follow the guideline you provided, the tendency of not getting affected is high and you might succeed. i think everyone involved in crypto has been SCAMMED in one way or the other.
In reality the risk is really high, hence the more we should be careful when it comes to investing. Investing in altcoins nowadays IMO is not really advisable, unless its an old coins, already have a development and listed in decent exchanges with volumes of $10,000 and up in 24 hours.

That figure is just my own gauge or qualification in choosing an investment.
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 28, 2020, 11:20:49 AM
It is so important to read the terms of service and I do it every single time. It can mean the difference between getting paid your winnings or missing it due to some silly technicality. So many gambling sites out there have enticing looking offers like "$100 in free bingo tickets" but you are expected to gamble any winnings 5x before they will let you cash out any money. By that point you are left with a couple dollars if you're lucky, but chances are the money and your time have been wasted. You have to remember that gambling companies are not charities, but profit making and want to hold on to any deposited money.

In addition to reading the rules of the service, I also carefully study reviews of the service from real users (friends or forums on the Internet), since theory and practice are very often different. Most services like to interpret the rules in an arbitrary way in their favor and it is better to know about this before any problem occurs.

That's correct, the reason why I mostly use a gambling sites that has an ANN thread here in bitcointalk as that would give real review from people here, if you see a reputable members giving their positive feedback, you'll be confident in using the site.
3446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: October 28, 2020, 11:05:45 AM
Also, who would like to watch a trilogy? Maybe only angry Wilder fans hehehe.

I'm sure there's a lot of us who wants to watch the trilogy, I am on either Wilder or Fury, depending on the betting odds, but this trilogy fight, Fury will most likely win but who knows, Wilder has a power punch which has been his weapon of being successful, so we can't still underestimate him.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 27, 2020, 12:13:46 PM
With that, I think Davis would still want to leave if he wants to earn the best salary because he will be on the top in terms of earnings per year which he will have a 40.4 million per year while the top 1 now is Curry with 40.231 million per year according to http://www.espn.com/nba/salaries.
Damn! that was a huge amount.
Receiving that kind of offer even with a pandemic? Whoa! I would not even think about it.  Cheesy
If the NBA would not reduce the salary of the other NBA players, they have a reason to give out that big amount, besides Lakers is in the top 3 in the NBA in terms or net worth ranking. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/02/forbes-releases-2020-nba-franchise-valuations.html

Quote
1-New York Knicks: $4.6 billion
2-Los Angeles Lakers: $4.4 billion
3-Golden State Warriors: $4.3 billion

That figure tells they can afford.

New York Knicks is the richest but they could not make their team at least a playoff contender, what happen to this team? I think they all have the money now to sign a legit star in the NBA, if they can sign Davis and lure him with a bigger amount the Lakers could give, I think it would be interesting.

But Lakers can already give him the best salary among the NBA players in the league, so let's see what would happen and though Davis has confirm he will stay with the Lakers but there's no done deal yet so it means he is still open.
3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Inoue vs. Moloney - October 31 on: October 27, 2020, 12:04:21 PM
This is a very interesting fight and we are almost there.

I had placed my bet on Inoue because it seems the odds were on this fighter and I have a good smell and doubt that this man will win the fight. But there's no guarantee yet since Moloney I guess was also well prepared for this fight. Both fighters are aggressive but we just only one winner. Let just wait and see this fight.
Good luck on your bet. You're too early for the match but it's better than before the last few minutes of the match.

I'm for Inoue on this match but it's worth to take the risk and odds for Moloney. But it's your choice and bet and we have no idea how this match will be ending so good luck to everyone who will be betting for this match. A few days to go and this will be on.

Betcoin.ag and Fortunejack offers the best odds for this fight, https://www.bestodds.ai/odds/sport-boxing/matchups/naoya-inoue-vs-jason-moloney
The maximum you can get is 1.1 for Inoue while 7.19 for Moloney, 1.10 is worth he risk, just make sure to put a decent bet.

With that kind of odds, I doubt sportsbook would receive plenty of bettors, I'm just wondering why until now the handicap odds are still not available, I'm not sure if they want to gain more bets or not because if they want to gain more bets, they should have made it available already.

It's only 4 days until the fight night and still no other odds.
3449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 27, 2020, 11:48:26 AM
It's a huge amount of money that an NBA player would want, Davis gets the championship at get's the biggest salary in the NBA, there's no reason to leave if Indeed the Lakers will offer him that amount, he even has a bigger salary than the king.
3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 26, 2020, 12:25:58 PM
I think Lakers would just stay with the current roster, of course, some will leave but as long as they have James and Davis, they will make the others better.
They would because they have already won a championship in a dominant passion, the chemistry was already their, it would be stupid to build a super team if the chemistry will not be carry out, those role players that has contributed during the NBA Finals has to remain, if not all of them due to money issue, then at least most of them.
3451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 26, 2020, 12:00:06 PM
Can you share the theory you've read regarding about NBA being rigged?
If you believe it's rigged, is it a disadvantage or advantage to us bettors?
It's obvious that rigged leagues are an advantage to bettors especially when they have info who's gonna win, it's an easy bet.

But for me, I still do believe that the NBA is not rigged unlike PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) in our country.
There are so many hyped teams this season especially the clippers who were predicted that will play against the lakers, doesn't make it.

Honestly I believe it's a disadvantage to bettors, at least the majority of bettors as not everyone can get an information about the fix game, if NBA will try to fix their game, it's not to give the majority of bettors a chance to win, but the minority only so bookies will make money in overall.
3452  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: October 23, 2020, 01:59:09 PM
Now billions of dollars are being laundered in bitcoins. It seems to me that this is one of the most important problems for the development of cryptocurrencies. Decentralization has pluses and big minuses in the form of machinations and other criminals.
Why like that? Even money fiat is more anynomous than bitcoin. When you use money paper for illegal purpose, are they traceable? I don't think so. You'll never track when someone use money paper, believe me.
AMLC will only be interested to check that if the money is already in the bank, paper money can be transferred from people to people but if we are talking of big money here which is usually the case for money laundering, it always involves bank and other financial institution and once it's already in the bank, there's already a trail.

As for bitcoin being used by illegal activity, I think it is depend on the user itself. There are many people as well who use bitcoin for a good purpose and it can help them. So, I don't think this is the important problem, if we compare bitcoin is like money fiat when people use them.

There's a public ledger which called blockchain, everything can be seen in there, that's the reason it's easier to track transactions.
3453  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 21-Oct-20] on: October 23, 2020, 01:24:32 PM
This community is blessed to have many campaigns.

By the way, I just want to share it guys about Livecoin signature campaign.

Looks live the Livecoin campaign has been either paused or halted, because all the people I tagged are wearing different signatures.

per update it's still CFNP, I also believe the campaign was halted.
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: October 23, 2020, 12:53:19 PM
As expected, the heavy favorite will definitely be Crawford.

Crawford will always be favorite if he is not fight an undefeated fighter.

My money goes to him as well.
Are you willing to take the moneyline which is only 1.06 in return of your bet?

I think putting on bets like handicap betting is all worth than winning 6% only, unless you are betting $100k as 6% of that amount is still sweet.
3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 23, 2020, 12:22:01 PM
Bull flag is still on for bnb. I was thinking to sell my bnbs to be honest. But i saw the new project today. I ll try my chance in the lottery once again. Maybe i can win this time  Roll Eyes
try until you're lucky, but I suggest not to throw away the Binance coins you have. Increase the amount of Bnb you have because this coin is very good and if you are good at seeing gaps in trading, you will quickly make a profit.
I would do the same, BNB is a great long term investment, next to ETH, this my my favorite so as a trader I also take advantage on its volatility while at the same time I have some portion to hold for long term. When the market is bullish, it's impossible that BNB will not pump.

Looks live the Livecoin campaign has been either paused or halted, because all the people I tagged are wearing different signatures.

I removed all my tags, and I encourage anyone else who left any to do the same.

Maybe we should also notify the signature campaign overview thread that nobody is wearing the Livecoin signature anymore.  Livecoin did not make any update on their thread, the last edit was made on October 1 making it CFNP.

They have no option but to remove the signature, otherwise that tag will remain and they can't find a signature campaign anymore to join once the Livecoin campaign is over.  I guess we will not see them try again, unless they'll settle their scam accusation.

Also it will not be good for the campaign participants to wear the live coin signature and promoting the scam. We have seen in the past that participants who promote scam coin / projects are also tagged.

Some participants doesn't read about the reputation of the project they are promoting or some does not even have an idea on how trust system works, if they see there is money involved, they'll promote right away, they are just lucky that some DT give them a chance to leave the campaign and they will not get tagged.

Anyway, I think this thread will be in active again.
3457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 57.7%, alts lagging behind on: October 23, 2020, 10:52:50 AM
Anyone thinks it hits higher?  I saw it went higher but now alts are coming back.
well this post created long time before now so things has already changed, alts now are striking High specially Defi based coins in which dominating the market (Except from RANKed 1-6)
so in means we are looking fair in terms of Altcoins and Bitcoin movement.
there will be a good Bullrun this coming months because we already meet $13,000 value today.
Looking forward at that bull run you are talking, it could be real or just a bull trap, regardless, it's not new to the market, bitcoin remains unpredictable and I even like it as I can milk some money with its volatility.

OP seemed to be doing a great job updating us with the figures necessary, but I have one suggestion, maybe the thread title will be edited according to the timely BTC dominant rate.  Like 50+% or 60+% (rounded off) if OP can't update it regularly.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 23, 2020, 10:39:04 AM
This is such a great feature (help) for all of the gamblers because withdrawal fee is sometimes a headache for all of us, especially in Ethereum that happened few months ago even though it's not related on gambling.

But this is not surprising at all because all of the gambling sites that has been mentioned by OP were all famous, big, and reputable for providing such good services in the world of gambling when it comes to cryptocurrency and giving aid such like free withdrawal fees is just a small simple gratitude from them to their clients for always appreciating their services.

There's always a lot of ways to prevent ourselves from paying huge withdrawal, choosing a coin with less withdrawal fee would always help. For instance, I've been using XRP and Doge, I don't feel the withdrawal fee and it's faster as it's network is not congested.
3459  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 23, 2020, 10:21:49 AM
Vaccine preparation is supposed to follow certain rules and regulations. When a vaccine is developed, it'll be tested for the results as well for its side harms. This is why vaccine development is time consuming. I don't know how long this gonna take place, but in my country we're into the third phase of clinical trials.
And therefore that will take time to develop as the WHO will certainly check on that first and knowing how corrupt the world is, big Pharma might just hiding the vaccine and sell it when the time that they think the total infections are already worst. For now, people are not anymore talking of the vaccine as they have been waiting for so long and it seems our economy as slowly picked up as we got used to the current situation which we call "the new normal".
