That hashtag EducateDontIntimidate made it perfect.
It is one hell of publicity for bitcoin.
Hoping we will be seeing more of this.

Gave me the inspiration to keep on telling my friends about it.
I once gave it up since I always thought they are not listening but it should not matter.
Keep on pushing to educate them.
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 23, 2020, 10:22:56 AM
Even if Zion completes that 8 game tournament it will be Ja Morant.
If Zion wins, NBA just proved there is deep politics in the damn management.
There is nothing to consider anymore or if they do, they will lose a lot of fans.
Fairness is still better than just making money.
Ja worked hard for it putting the Grizzlies in the 8th rank.

Yeah, there's nothing much to talk about between the two. Their race for ROTY were already finished even Zion had already played his remaining regular season game. Effort, and impact to the team wise? Ja is on the edge here. We won't even be able to see a good, competitive Grizzlies if you would take out Ja on the roster, just my two cents   Tongue.

Even if he creates a lot of impact for the last 8 games and luckily wins the 8th seed, that should not change the fact for efforts done by Ja for the whole season.

Speaking of Zion.
https://www.nba.com/pelicans/news/zion-williamson-update-072220
He is still being tested even if he is away for emergency matters.
This is good.
NBA is making effort to continue supporting players even if you go outside the bubble.
Somehow they don't care even with how much it will cost them. Good news indeed.
3443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Living with parents again could fuel the next Bitcoin bull run. on: July 23, 2020, 07:04:29 AM
You have a point for saving money.
But, this will only be applicable to people who can live with their parents and be welcomed.
Also, we have different lifestyles so it might not work for everyone. You don't know what you or your parents could say when shit happens.
You won't like being on that position especially when you are old enough to think for yourself.

I just don't understand the connection with bitcoin. Saving money to buy for bitcoin? Is that it?

3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetKing sponsors kenya football , is it a publicity stunt ? on: July 23, 2020, 05:22:06 AM
I think I'll consider this a good news if I don't know the reputation of BetKing in the forum, but no.. a scam site always have a dark reason behind the action. For those who don't know about the site, they can check the account in the forum - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=565024.

Exactly! For those that don't know their history, their move is great! However, a lot of us here in the forum know the truth about their profile. So I am assuming it is only a publicity stunt, maybe to rectify their bad reputation. But they need to address first their old issues before spending a lot of money to some sports team.

I am part of those who don't know their history.
At first glance of the OP's news it really look great and I almost tried to say it is.
But, from all the replies of the members then I think it is not a great news but instead it was bad news.

If they can grow their advertisement up to this extent then more will be victims of the scams they did.
We don't want that to happen. We don't want new victims for their new scam attempts.
How could we help others to not step on the same floor which other had experienced already?
Maybe report them with proofs?
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 23, 2020, 04:08:14 AM
It looks like the Minnesota Timberwolves has been made available for sale by their owner Glen Taylor. There have been rumors that there is a chance that the team might relocate to Seattle if some suitors will be interested buying it but the current owner of the Timberwolves had made it clear that his only condition was to make the Timberwolves stay at Minnesota so the only clear options named right now is either the Wilf brothers or their former player, Kevin Garnett. The former one might be the likely candidate for the takeover as they are also the owners of the Minnesota Vikings which might make Taylor be confident that the team will really stay in the state.
Kind of in a jumble now.
Before, it was Seattle SuperSonics and then moved to Oklahoma.
Now, they might get Timberwolves.
So, it will become Seattle Timberwolves? It doesn't sound right.  Grin
Better use the old name.

Here's an interesting vlog of how they're life in the Orlando Bubble. Link down below.

Good thing I found it while searching in Youtube and surprised JaVale McGee has a Youtube channel and documented some of the thing there, love to see some action now. Cheesy
Found this a week ago and I had completed watching the series.
It was fun watching players reactions to different new things they bump into.  Grin
Watch Matisse Thybulle vlog too, it's better than JaVale.  Cheesy

What proof? Just use your brain. What do you think Blockstream is then? How do you think it has such a major influence on Bitcoin?

I am using my brain which is why I warned you.
I dont think there is a good reason to talk with you.
Something is eating you.
I dont know if it is hate or whatever it is but it aint good.

3447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin was hijacked and centralized on: July 22, 2020, 01:18:44 PM
This is what happened in 2013-1014. Bitcoin has a design flaw (increasing blocksize) that makes it distribute mining rewards unfairly, so the miners started merging into mining unions to agree about sharing the rewards equally.
Proof please?
I can tell you the same thing but facts are difficult to get.
That is the difference.

Please do have something if you are trying to convince us.
I don't see that for now. Maybe someday?
I do agree about miners having a consensus but also have the same thread but been bashed by royalties of the forum.
So, I am just giving you a heads up.
3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 22, 2020, 04:05:26 AM
So amazing how Harden and Westbrook can immediately go back after being positive last week.
They are athletes, no doubt they can surpass that virus at high speed.

Hope for their best against Orlando in the coming days. This is really hyping me up. On the other hand, Zion is given his space for an "urgent family medical emergency". The article also said that he might still be able to play on the last 6 games of the team. Since we are talking about Ja and Zion for the ROTY, does this really means Ja?
Even if Zion completes that 8 game tournament it will be Ja Morant.

There could be another the same sale or there will be none in the future. But this is one of the best that ever happened in the cards collection of NBA players. This is opening a new opportunity and idea where to invest. I guess for people who will see the opportunity in it should also be aware of the risk that you will bear upon entering it. And as much as possible, do it for the sake of your passion and love and think of the profit as the bonus.

That's a good reason. Better stay with that. As your passion and not just for profit in the future. It's a plus if that happens.
Well, if you are going to invest in it, the better choice is for a rookie. Like that same card of Lebron, that was his rookie days.

Which will you pick.
Ja Morant card or Zion card.
I'll go for Ja and RJ Barrett card.  Grin I feel something will improve with RJ, it may not be now or next year, someday.
3450  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 21, 2020, 01:27:21 PM
Actually, from my personal perspective, if it's ROI/year is >10-15%, then it worths to put into it.

That's exactly right. The only thing is that your investment is so close to the gambling platform. So, you need a good measure of self-control not to succumb to temptation and not to gamble all your investment.

Well, you know, that is what I did, so I'm speaking from personal experience. Wink

Same.
Trust is not an issue. Yolodice had been running for a long time so its safe to say you can keep your investment for a long time.
But, can you keep your cool?  Grin

When you are looking at the bookmarked Yolodice website, it's like there is someone whispering at you to click it and gamble.  Grin
It's a daily decision to make.

NBA: Zero positives out of 346 players tested for coronavirus in Orlando bubble

The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association said Monday that coronavirus tests of 346 players at the league's bubble campus in Orlando, Florida, since July 13 have yielded zero positive results.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29504583/nba-zero-positives-346-players-tested-covid-19-orlando-bubble

Very good news indeed.
Could it be Westbrook whose last diagnosed as positive?

They should keep this kind of pace.
Now, no one should be allowed without being proven negative with the virus.
It should not happen anymore. Stop those individual deliveries too.
Give their requested foods as long as it is within the bubble premises.
3452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 21, 2020, 05:47:45 AM
My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?

Agree with all of the above.
So how can you find out all about this information?

Ask them directly and better be good at reviewing their answers.
They can all say the sweet words to you but that should not all be the reason to agree with them.
Better, do not agree yet, and try to dig more into whatever their real purpose is.
Is it for innovation or just a mere profit?
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 21, 2020, 03:58:59 AM
Lol. I'm sure he feels it too but he just doesn't show it. It's another part of him that's makes him even more dangerous. He's so focused and doesn't usually get his emotion get the better of him during games. Men, I'm getting flashbacks of last season's game against the sixers when the ball bounced its way to the net.
Goosebumps.
Others may say it is not the perfect shot. Questioning what if it didn't went in.
IMO, just getting a good position to shoot the ball is already a great thing. What more if you can shoot it?

~ in a way this is similar to what we are already doing with bitcoin so it should not be weird for anyone on the forum to try to make money this way.
I never thought it that way.
Thanks for the reminder.

Im not sure If this is true, I'm pretty sure someone is managing his Facebook account. 3 days left? I think he's referring to the pre-season resume.
It's the scrimmage.

They will be playing against Dallas Mavericks, Thursday night.

Stay with the big names.
The ones on the top.

It doesn't mean there is no room for an upgrade. There will always be something new.
I understand that we are being pessimistic with other coins. Who's not?
We have seen projects with good promises but yet they end up scams.
So, if you want to keep it safe. Stay with the old ones.
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 20, 2020, 12:59:08 PM
This is a hint guys. I'm just watching random vids over internet and watched someone who talks about NBA cards to be a great investment. I think this is also a good investment overtime. Yes, LBJ is still alive yet his sign and cards went up that much. Is this NBA card industry is also a bubble or it's actually a decent industry where we see stability? I'm thinking of getting one or starting my own deck. The mystery is that what will be the price of that $1.8M card after 5 years or more.

I read it too.
But it happened only after the bidding happened.
There is still no assurance being a card collector.
Well, if you can buy it at a cheap price then maybe it will be good.

But I don't think that will happen anymore because of this event.

Kawhi? Yeah, a lot of analyst are still looking for that reason for him to be called as one of the GOAT's.
He needs 1 more win to prove it and this must be the time.

Gonna be tough for him, now that there are bunch of promising players. But I'm sure he can, he got his own skills he just need to be paired with a decent roster.

I can say it adds more pressure.
Well, that is if Kawhi do know the word "pressure".
Looking at his facial expression, I doubt that.  Grin
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 20, 2020, 10:14:47 AM
Woah that card worth really great. Who had brought it BTW? It seems money is not an issue for them and probably brought this card. Anyway, Lebron also is a generous guy so there could be no problem on him earning lot of money because for sure some of it will go to charity. This has been observe already and he help a lot of people that even includes in education which is very vital to every individual.

I don't think Lebron is the card owner.
It may be a different one. Someone which is keen to buying collectibles.

From the same website.
It was never said who the owner is before being sold.

Lebron is already popular, he will be GOAT someday just like MJ and Kobe, not sure who among the active NBA players now will  also be GOAT someday and  will enjoy that kind of market value, I think Leonard has to shut Lebron's team this season for him to gain some spot in the future.
Truth, he is popular, no doubt about that.
Kawhi? Yeah, a lot of analyst are still looking for that reason for him to be called as one of the GOAT's.
He needs 1 more win to prove it and this must be the time.
3457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: July 20, 2020, 07:17:38 AM
I think you are in haste.
Yeah, they might not need it now and there is truth that it became just an investment.

But the answer also resides in your back story before your questions.
Adoption.
Not much merchants yet because of the volatility.
They are still afraid to lose more while using bitcoin.
But there are some merchants who are already taking the next step.

It might be difficult to explain it for now. But, when it's widely used then I don't think you will need to explain to them.
Social media is also becoming a large part to give people the right answers.

3459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto poker popular? on: July 19, 2020, 03:10:25 PM
1. Is online poker (in fiat casinos) one of the most popular games?
There could be a bias while answering this question.
Just like me, I could say yes. It is more popular to me.
And as I see how many players are in the room waiting for their turn, then it is really popular.

2. Why isn't poker particularly popular when it comes to crypto casinos?
It's way different playing physical poker.
You always have a hint looking at players giving you ideas to how you could win by reading their eyes.
While in crypto poker, that won't happen.

Wrong.

Bounty managers are just supposed to look out if the hunters are doing their jobs.
But when it comes to the payment that will happen then he cannot handle that anymore.
It will still depend on the owner of the campaign.

They are also just also employees of the company. They don't handle the financial method of them.
