3441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is good for environment on: June 02, 2020, 08:03:41 AM
The renewable part is a good one. Hope it's fully renewable.
I think one of the few problems with the mining aspect is energy, resources consumption and centralization problem. Hopefully it becomes very energy efficient in the future, decentralized, does not take too much space and resources
3442  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you consider or see yourself as a Prepper (before, now or not yet)? on: June 02, 2020, 07:36:01 AM
The world is getting crazier by the day these days. Aside from the Pandemic, there are silent protests, while some turned into complete anarchy which resulted in looting, injuries, and needless deaths that are spreading like wildfire in the US. Internationally, there are other countries like China and India who are tempting to fuel military conflicts due to their border disputes with each other as well. Who knows what tomorrow will bring us once again.

All these tensions are definitely recipes for additional trouble which makes Prepping very important nowadays.

The problem is sin but many people aren't aware. Sin/evil grows like pregnancy once you abandon GOD and start walking in darkness. Most people are in deep sleep but aren't aware. They are decieved by sight until evil comes close.

Once you realize that sin grows like pregnancy with bad end result, you will be more prepared
3443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will an asset-backed currency or altcoin solved the world economic problems? on: May 31, 2020, 04:02:46 PM
snip~

I think whenever I look at this I am looking at a currency that could escape the excessive printing out of thin air. A currency backed by an asset that has a limited supply could possibly put an end to the frivolous money printing.
If we take a look at the evolution of fiat money they also started with backed up by gold reserves of each country but now it is backed up by nothing so we no need backed up currency we just need the currency which has its own value due to its demand and supply.

Cryptocurrency is more than money, in my opinion. It more like an autonomous nation with its own currency/tokens. So you can program it (perhaps with new internal coin/token) to do what you want, like "asset back up"... This won't necessarily change what the main native coin is meant to do
3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will an asset-backed currency or altcoin solved the world economic problems? on: May 31, 2020, 03:31:15 PM
Asset-backed crypto (especially physical assets) would be a really good thing.
It should however be possible to have the holders of such cryptos to have full control of the assets once they hold the cryptocurrency. If for example I am holding a cryptocurrency that is backed by good foods, herbs, mobile homes, survival stuff, etc I should automatically have full control of the assets and be able to pick them up whenever I want once I have access to the crypto private keys
3445  Other / Off-topic / Why would people go ahead to behave badly after being warned of the consequences on: May 31, 2020, 11:00:09 AM
Pride,
They  are under satanic control,
They are rebellious against One True GOD,
They are blinded,
etc

If you give sincere warning that something bad will happen tommorow, they may go about attacking you instead of preventing it until it happens.  Better to build a different "World" and leave them alone.

Warnings will keep coming for those willing to listen.
Always be on the good side. Never mix good with evil!
3446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good news from Ohio - Sports betting will be legal now. on: May 31, 2020, 10:29:00 AM
The house of Ohio has passed a bill in which it has declared sports betting as legal in Ohio, and in my personal opinion this shall benefit all the gamblers who reside in Ohio, because now they can gamble legally without fearing any arrests or any kind of fine.

It’s also pertinent to note that there’re few organisations that are against this bill, hence we will have to wait and see if they’ll challenge it in the court or no.

Furthermore I don’t understand why are people against this bill, because gamblers will always continue to gamble, but by making sports betting legal the state will earn additional revenue, which can further be used for the state’s development in the long run.

Quote

The Ohio House on Thursday voted 83-10 in favor of a bill that would place sports betting under the oversight of the Ohio Lottery Commission and allow Ohioans 21 or older to gamble on collegiate and pro sports either online or in casinos, racinos or veterans and fraternal halls.

Quote

It is opposed by Citizens for Community Values, Bowling Centers Association of Ohio, the Cincinnati Reds, and the PGA. Ohio public and private universities have also expressed reservations about legalizing betting on collegiate sports.

Quote

The Legislative Service Commission estimates the tax would generate $17.7 million in 2022 and $23 million in future years.

I don’t understand why are people against this bill,

Many people "subconsciously" link betting to gambling due to language, culture, movies, programming, etc. Unfortunately they are doing it hypocritically without probably realizing that gambling is widespread in societies, not necessarily in the betting world. You can bet in sport without gambling... doing it more that is morally required becomes gambling.

It's morally right for government to ban "sport gambling" but not morally right to ban "safe/good sports-betting". Gambling is gambling...should not be encouraged
3447  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️ 7XL - the largest poker network in the world is finally here! - 30% rake back on: May 31, 2020, 09:44:46 AM
Looks really interesting.
How about Android application? Planning to include that in the future?
In regards to the staking platform, what cryptos can be staked and used on the platform? Native coin/token?

Will probably check it out in the future. Already set a reminder, and bookmarked
3448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for the ETH 2.0 PoS? on: May 31, 2020, 08:47:35 AM
Hopefully they don't remain on centralized exchanges and the problem becomes a norm (centralized dominating the decentralized).
Well, I don't believe in the typical Proof of stake atall. I think few people or entities could easily own the coins and make it look like they are owned by diverse people... There should be no easy way (or possibility) to control the diverse people.
Validators should be determined by merit and good reputation. Skills, good/foolproof reputation probably tied to their unique decentralized/anonymous identification would work great.
3449  Economy / Economics / Re: What online service / product would you buy in this recession ? on: May 31, 2020, 08:20:52 AM
The only crypto i would invest in is :
2.The coin must behave like a fiat , like when you give fiat to someone that transaction is not recorded and should stay anonymous...
...
4.ZERO transfer fees ,when you give fiat to someone ,nobody asks you any fee in real life
I'm interested in this points as they draw attention to fiat;
1) Fiat transactions are recorded and are not anonymous. You should indicate the distinction that this occurs when exchanging physical cash. The society however is becoming more digitalized, so majority of transactions are done using digital devices and are recorded.

2)Again, this only applies when exchanging physical cash. There are many cryptocurrencies which offers lower transaction fees. Bitcoin does not lead in this area, but if you want reduced fee in BTC, you can use a segwit address.

Depends on where you live. Lots of places are heavily dependent on the physical ones.
I guess the commenter is actually referring to the physical aspect of fiat which is actually anonymity/privacy friendly. There are alot people using physical fiats without the banks (which is where trackings usually take place). I believe this can also be done even with the digital currencies. Lots of people probably don't know this yet.

3450  Economy / Economics / Re: More Evidence of Coronavirus as Financial Reset on: May 31, 2020, 07:44:12 AM
I believe they simply took the virus as an opportunity to do whatever they want to do.
It is real and bad. The world is truely helpless. And it's about rebellion against GOD and things HE cherished. GOD (who is actually the true KING of this world) has full control over people/angels/satan, and HE can easily allow them to do HIS will or make mistakes.
If they keep "rebelling" against the CREATOR, it gets worse or something else bad will happen. HE knows all our thoughts, secret actions, etc

3451  Other / Off-topic / The "sixth" is satan, believe it or not. on: May 29, 2020, 04:44:22 PM
A younger person (still growing) who proceeds from him will also rule. He is the false messiah and he will cause people to worship the image of the sixth. And he will also cause people to take the "mark". His mother is false mary.
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 02:36:58 PM
If it's a responsible casino with good and safe betting games, why not. Will never donate to casino that promotes bad and unsafe bettings. The games/bettings will need to be beneficial to the players (alternatively, it should be consistently producing many winners) , it must not be violent/bad, it should be safe, etc
3453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Liquidity Provider Desktop Application for BTC-ETH and BTC-ERC20 on: May 29, 2020, 02:07:41 PM
Something like this would be nice with decentralized exchange... Or is it also for decentralized exchanges?
Guess the incentive program is with tokens, right? 12.6% makes a bit of sense if it's  token. It doesn't sound too sustainable though.

In regards to running node all the time, you could make it optional for liquidity providers to lock their funds and let their money work for them while offline. I think stuff this will work best on permissionless/trustless decentralized exchanges with escrow system/smart contract.
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League set to restart on June 17, 2020. on: May 29, 2020, 01:44:22 PM
It's better than to have nothing even though fans can't watch live in the stadium. Sports bettors have been waiting for this, and although it's kinda different like the usual set up, we need to understand that they also have to be careful. I think most of us are also aware of the possible rules like this like not allowing live audiences, so we have to understand if we really want the event to resume.

I have also seen some news that other sports are also planning to resume even though the pandemic is still ongoing. I am not against it, in fact, it's great news especially for those who really love sports, they can finally watch and bet on the sports they like. They just need to make sure that every athletes and staff are safe before continuing the event.

The date is probably not certain until they meet the safety requirements for the participants/supporters.
In situation like this, participants and players will be constantly monitored & tested for the virus to avoid the spread. The players  will likely be coming close and talking to each regularly. So everyone would need to be careful

3455  Other / Off-topic / Re: Here is why things seem calm around the world on: May 29, 2020, 12:15:35 PM
Because the CREATOR is currently holding "them" back to let HIS prophets finish "their works" and believers to be better prepared for what will be unleashed on the world.
They tried to take over via choas (dividing people by programming them via evil/divisive movies, audios, radio, games, websites etc) using the stay at home order and other means but they failed.

So don't go to sleep yet. Be prepared!

It's written as "king" not "beast". It's the sixth king and is currently on the throne physically somewhere.    (It can be found here: Revelation 17:10—11)

Or read about it here:

Listen to Book of Revelation in audio format. Will probably help you understand. It's all there.

So, what exactly is the BAO? Is it the name of the casino and some sort of virtual personal assistant on the site?
Well, wish you already have some good/positive reputation ( or have the copper badge) here to compensate for  your new forum profile. That could even convince more people to try your site.
3457  Economy / Economics / Re: If Recession Kicks In, How Will Bitcoin Perform? on: May 29, 2020, 10:31:05 AM

Bitcoin will either survive or not. This entirely depends on us and on how we use it. If tomorrow the internet somehow falls in a country or enough people will remain unemployed for such a long time .

If the current internet fails(localized failure esp) , we could use Bitcoin in ways listed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2183740.new#new

I find local Blockchain/Bitcoin interesting (not in that links^ page). It should be possible to build something that can be used locally and later sync with World's Blockchain whenever there is internet. Whether it takes 2year to find internet for synching shouldn't be a problem as long as the data is well decentralized, fool-proof, secure etc

Another interesting idea is to create a physical Blockchain/decentralized-system that is totally independent of the internet.

3459  Other / Off-topic / Voting should be based on good/right foundation (fundamentals) a community, society etc is built on on: May 28, 2020, 01:45:42 PM
When voting, voters should vote and give reasons why they think something/someone deserve to get the vote they cast, and their reasons should be right and compatible (or in harmony) with the foundation/principles/fundamentals.
All participating voters can then approve or reject each others votes  (by upvoting or downvoting them, with proofs) based on their compatibility with the principles. There should be some skillful people checking and verifying the votes and addressing complaints to make sure all votes are correct.
If consensus is not reached, then the project or person has to be disqualified and time given to it/him/her to make amends and possibly qualify for another round of voting.

✴Try not to derail from the good foundation/fundamentals/principles else there will be consequences. (However, if a group/community is built on wrong/bad foundation, it should be proven that it's a wrong foundation, then the community can make amends via consensus). Fortunately Blockchain/Bitcoin was founded on surprisingly very good foundation. So, whatever we choose to build should be built on that foundation or principles, and voters should vote and reach a consensus on the principles or foundation

3460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Wrapped Bitcoin driving DeFi growth right now? on: May 28, 2020, 10:04:55 AM
Interesting. I guess I have seen some of them somewhere before.
But are they as secure, decentralized, permissionless, trustless, transparent, private/anonymous(or even better), censorship resistant, immutable as Bitcoin? I think these fundamental ideals are main part of what make Bitcoin attractive, valuable, unique etc.
