3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: April 05, 2022, 08:35:07 AM
The result from the game yesterday made the fight for the top 4 place very exciting:

Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Who will grab that automatic Champions League spot?

Yes, you've got it right now!! Lampard is creating some weird records as usual, he left some at Chelsea in his second year, he made Kepa and Rudiger look like the worst players in the world, we were conceding goals for fun, it got to the point where the fans despised Rudiger and Kepa. Lampard doesn't know how to set up a defensive line, which is exactly what he's having at Everton, where they're conceding for fun as well.
Lampard did the right thing by joining Derby County has his first managerial test, unfortunately they just missed out getting to the Premier League. I think he should have stayed with them but instead Chelsea came calling and he left to manage them. Derby went downhill after that and soon afterwards he was sacked by Chelsea.

Maybe he should have gone down the John Terry route and become assistant manager somewhere else to learn his trade first.

I couldn't agree more, but I still believe that Lampard is not the right man for the Everton job because the club has a lot of inconsistent players. I remember Ancellotti's first 15 games in charge of Everton last season, they were on top of the league and Lewin was scoring like crazy, and everyone thought they would do what Leicester City did in 2015 season because Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool did not start the season well, I told my friends that Everton will always be Everton Lampard will struggle to make an impact at Everton.
I agree with you, he does not fight the club ethos and he himself has proven to be an unsuccessful manager but it was a lot for both Benitez and now Lampard to live up to after Ancelotti departed to return to Madrid.

Daniel Levy would rather have Harry Kane leave the club for free at the end of his contract than lose him now. Harry Kane is the face of Tottenham and the only player bringing publicity to the club; it would be a shame to lose such an important player. He did the same thing with Ericksen, so I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps Harry Kane until the end of his contract.
I think he simply cannot afford to let Kane walk away on a free transfer. That is the same situation Manchester United face with Paul Pogba being out of contract at the end of the season. The difference is financially Manchester United are able to continue financially without much effect whereas Tottenham need funds to spend on incoming players. I am not so sure about Levy preferring Kane to stay until his contract winds down.

They have Kane until 2024 therefore I see them selling at the end of the season in 2023 because if he does well in the December 2022 world cup Spurs will receive astronomical offers to sell him.

3462  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 04, 2022, 08:01:39 PM
There are cases of exchanges and gaming/gambling websites which clearly stated no KYC was required in order to lure customers in but then used various clauses in their Terms and Conditions to seize funds and close accounts. Many of those had sent KYC only to be told the legitimacy of the documents could not be validated therefore the victim first lost the funds and then lost their ID too.

Sending KYC to any website is something that must be avoided in all circumstances.

After they receive the KYC does anybody think they will just file them away and forget about them? No. They will sell them on to make more money.
I don't understand why anyone would feel like providing their KYC to 1xbit where it's not even safe to invest money. Scamming money and selling KYC is basically a double blow for the victims. This is the worst case scenario basically.
3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: April 04, 2022, 07:54:23 PM
Here I am back in this thread, the first thing to note is the spammers are still ruining it. Anyway, when it comes to XRP the price has been very stable ever since the fightback started when the Securities and Exchange Commission in the USA. It dropped initially before recovering and hovering to the $0.80 for a long time.

It still is a good investment which will only rise providing they come to an arrangement with the SEC or they win the case. XRP is still the 6th-8th biggest crypto by market cap and if it can settle the case against it here is nothing holding XRP back from breaching the $1+ then the all time high of around $3.80.
3464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 04, 2022, 04:59:13 PM
If India, Bangladesh or Pakistan had qualified they would have had huge amounts of supporters watching the games on television in those countries but only a certain number of teams can qualify from each region but still Iran will be joined in Group B by England and the USA as well as one of Wales, Scotland or Ukraine.

The fact there are deep political differences between Iran on one side and England and the USA on the other - this will make the England vs Iran game and Iran vs USA game a must watch  Grin

I want to make a wish here may the south Asian teams make to the tournament as well. Mostly the European teams makes their way to the tournament - I hope to see some new teams making their way to the top five.
South Asian teams constitute Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. This time no team among this enter the 32 teams. Already 29 teams have been qualified and the remaining 3 will be selected by june. Atleast few Asian teams Iran, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea and the host team Qatar.

The 1xbit forum representative logged in earlier today but ignored all allegations against them. I checked their replies, they last posted on 18th March 2022 to a user that was asking about his funds being stolen.

Apart from that they post regularly with their "promotions" inviting gullible people to sign up to their website but they are not addressing scam allegations therefore do not expect a reply from them any time soon.

3466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: April 04, 2022, 11:03:18 AM
Lampard becomes the first Everton manager to lose four away games, and based on the results so far, he may not stay until the end of the season, as they have a tough schedule ahead of them. I remember Everton being one of the most dangerous teams some years ago when they had Tim Cahill, Osman, and Fellani, but the current set of players have nothing to offer, and the club as a whole needs to be overhauled.
I had no idea about Lampard being the first Everton manager to lose 4 away games. Do you mean 4 consecutive Premier League away games? And those players you mentioned they are well in the past now, Everton just to not have names lining up in the tunnel that intimidate the opposition. After they lost Calvert-Lewin to injury early in the season Everton never really recovered.

Here is where I disagree with you because if Everton stay up (which they should) then Lampard should be given time to try to motivate and gel the team according to his own vision. If he fails miserably they should sack him by 10-12 games which would allow an new or interim manager to try to save the situation.

Conte may not be at the club season, a fat offer might come from a bigger club in Europe for him but he wants to end high with the club, he has done a fantastic job since he came in with as the manager

If Tottenham let Harry Kane go at the end of the season, it would be a disaster for the club.
Conte might surprise everyone by staying at Spurs if he guides them to the Champions League next season via a 4th place finish this season. He will be a manager in demand from big European clubs but he might end up staying in North London after all.

As for Kane, he really needs to move on now. He tried his best for Tottenham and stayed loyal to them therefore no Spurs fan would begrudge him a move to a bigger club, he is now 28 years old after all. If he was allowed to join Manchester City it would have netted Tottenham around £150 million but their Chairman Levy did not sell.

He is contracted to play for Tottenham until 2024 so they need to sell him at the end of this season to make a massive multi-million income otherwise his value drops when gets closer to 30+ years old. He could also win down his contract and just walk away on a free transfer in 2024 when he will be 30 years old and make a huge multi-million signing on fee with huge weekly salary for himself while Spurs receive nothing.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Season on: April 04, 2022, 10:32:55 AM
If Liverpool play at full capacity they can push Benfica aside with relative ease but I think Benfica have done their homework. They will play with confidence knowing they have home support for the first leg and they will make try their best to maximise that advantage. Over two legs Liverpool should qualify for the semi-final.

As for Atletico they are not playing to the level we have been used to over many seasons but they can cause an upset. Manchester City are favourites no doubt about it but over two legs I am keeping options open on this one.

The fixtures take place tomorrow... we can catch up after the games when we discover who was closer to the correct scorelines  Grin

@JollyGood I don’t think Liverpool match will end in a draw, because Liverpool likes to score lots of goals hence my prediction is a 3 - 1 victory for Liverpool. Also Atletico kinda got lucky against Manchester United, but against City they’ll need to pray that City player’s are having an off day because I expect City player’s to breach their defences and win by 2 - 0.
3468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT - Cannot login and couldn't withdrawal the money on: April 04, 2022, 10:15:46 AM
I have just collated the images from the pasteboard.co links that were posted by the OP here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5392257.msg59723503#msg59723503

The images were not opening because the URLs were incorrect for links therefore I used right-click to copy the actual image location and pasted them here.

What I find surprising is that (as long as the OP has been completely factual about the incident), the 1xbit scammers seem to have repaid/released most of the money the OP claimed. The OP claimed $6000 as a loss but later mentioned $5500 was showing in the balance and they were allowed to withdraw $4365.87 which means the 1xbit scammers still owe the OP $1134.13 (based on $5500) or $1634.13 (based on $6000).

3469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Rock Trading Scam www.therocktrading.com Exchange Review fraud truffa on: April 04, 2022, 10:01:44 AM
I would say your actions caused the irrevocable reputational damage that Rock Trading has faced over those long years. You could solved the issue easily but decided to get revenge on the OP who is the rightful owner of those funds because they created this thread.

I am kindly requesting you to apply common sense as well as a sense of decency here please. There is nothing stopping you converting the 35,000 EURO back to Bitcoin and sending back to the same wallet address you received it from.

As a compromise just for the sake of ending the drama, is that something you would consider doing?

After all this length of time what have the Rock Trading achieved? Was it worth it?

Yes it was. We protected funds belonging to our customer.

The OP had multiple choices to solve the situation in the past 4 years but, he never chosed to pursue a single action because he cannot prove to be the account owner.

As simple as that.
3470  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 04, 2022, 09:57:34 AM
I am in no doubt that once these shady online websites manage to get hold of KYC they will sell them on to criminals. They will use various claims in their Terms of Service to freeze accounts and withhold funds in order to force customers to send their KYC and in many will still refuse to release seized funds claiming the IP address and ID are from different countries  Roll Eyes

After they receive the KYC does anybody think they will just file them away and forget about them? No. They will sell them on to make more money.

They are most probably already selling KYC here and there for extra money and the gamblers will never know sadly. This is 1xbit we are talking about after all who are more than capable of doing such illegal acts.
3471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 04, 2022, 09:51:20 AM
Here is the Cloudbet profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=154563

They last logged in: 16th March 2022
They last posted: 19th January 2022

When you look at their last post it mentions them withholding funds and closing an account because of alleged breach of Terms of Service. This is painfully all too common an excuse used by many online businesses to justify stealing from clients.

Exactly what is the difference right now between Cloudbet (with their unresolved allegations) and say other websites such as 1xbit and the other websites controlled by the same scammers (1xbet, Kawbet etc)?

I am not sure who is using the Cloudbet account at the moment but I also remember Ronnie was approachable and was engaging with forum members regularly but maybe he is no longer employed by them. Their reputation is at stake therefore they should take this seriously.

@JollyGood I believe that was Ronnie and yes he definitely used to spend a lot of time here, but lately he hasn’t been seen in this ANN. Also I’m not sure what’s happened to them is it because of the pandemic that they’re short on staff, or they no longer consider this ANN important enough either way I’m yet hoping that they’ll come back and fix all the pending issues and clear their name.
3472  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 03, 2022, 11:56:56 PM
At least one thing Cloudbet had in the past which pointed to it being a serious contributor in this forum was that their representatives here always engaged with forum members when scam allegations were made. The Cloudbet account even returned funds to victims after their tactics were questioned by forum members and on occasion they refused to budge because they claim they had solid evidence of fraud.

The fact the Cloudbet account is no longer heavily active in the forum means they have taken a step back, which is quite sad. This means their website really will not be trusted by forum members if they do not engage with the people claiming they are victims of a scam carried out by Cloudbet. I would cite using Terms and Conditions as an excuse to justify stealing funds and closing accounts as unacceptable.

Cloudbet was never a 100% trusted casino. They had some unhandled accusations and/or sometimes it took some time to resolve the problems.
However, people still play there as many people never have any issues with cloudbet.
So we cannot say that with conviction that cloudbet is a scam but the one casino 1xbit, for which you are wearing the signature, is totally a scam.
3473  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency is too small for Russia - Binance CEO on: April 03, 2022, 11:39:20 PM
I stopped paying attention to what CZ was saying long ago. I have no idea what he thinks his role will be in shaping the future of crypto but when I read about some of the statements he makes it does not seem right they come from someone operating Binance. Remember when he said he discussed reversing the blockchain because of the Binance hack?

Never trust anything that CZ is saying, he is like chameleon and changes his story every day, so I won't be surprised if he comes in few weeks with announcement of blocking all accounts from Russia.
From news I was reading they are going to start working with Chinese banking system with their own credit cards, and they are totally separate from swift and mastercard/visa.
Nobody is talking about banning China because they can't, and CZ is from that same country.
3474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Season on: April 03, 2022, 11:27:05 PM
For the games tomorrow I think the scores will be:

Benfica 1-1 Liverpool
Manchester City 2-1 Atletico Madrid

Liverpool will find it tough going to Portugal to face Benfica. I think this game will end in a draw.

You would expect Manchester City to beat Atletico but what are the chances Atletico would knock Manchester United out first and then knock Manchester City out in the next round?
3475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 03, 2022, 11:18:22 PM

Did you manage to get a reply from Cloudbet?

I think the complaints against Cloudbet have increased over time but not all allegations are genuine. Having said that it is important to know what is going on with your situation. What is the latest they have said to you? When was the final correspondence with them?

The Cloudbet representative has not logged in to the forum here since 16th March 2022 and that is not a good thing when they have allegations against them.

I've been trying to get support on the subject for almost a month. My comments on Trustpilot have been deleted.

I was justified by the license provider curacao gaming license but no response.

I cannot go to a police or lawyer as gambling is prohibited in my country. I will set up a website soon and file my complaint as a permanent independent for life.

I'll collect all correspondence and evidence and post it back here soon.

Cloudbet scam. Be careful.
3476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 03, 2022, 11:05:55 PM
Of the African teams that qualified I think Senegal in Group A, Tunisia in Group D, Morocco in Group F, Cameroon in Group G and Ghana in Group H ALL FIVE have a good chance to go through as runners-up in their groups. Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon and Ghana seem to have the easier chance than Tunisia but it will be great for African football to see the teams play in the world cup in Qatar.

Representative’s of African countries to Qatar:

Cameroon🇨🇲
Ghana🇬🇭
Morocco🇲🇦
Senegal🇸🇳
Tunisia🇹🇳

This five teams had to pass through very competitive matches before reaching the final stage. It’s sad we won’t  be seeing teams like Ivory Coast, Egypt, Nigeria and Algeria in the World Cup in Qatar. A battle well fought for by the qualified African teams.

The good news is that Africa has an additional 4 spots during the next world cup.
3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: April 03, 2022, 10:43:12 PM
Everton's biggest mistake was hiring Frank Lampard, the set of players in Everton is too difficult to motivate, they needed someone with a lot of experience to manage the team, Lampard is not tactically gifted, he's always easy to predict, he barely changes his line up, he doesn't develop players, he only uses them until they get tired, too bad for Everton, they've been in this situation since Ancelloti left the club.
Even after Carlo Ancelotti left Everton they had quick success with Rafa Benitez at the beginning of the season but they lost all momentum after just a handful of games. I have no idea why they selected Lampard as their manager but I do think he should be given time. As long as Everton stay up then he should be their manager at the start of next season.

Newcastle United stopped playing as soon as they scored the first goal, as was the case in the Chelsea-Brentford game yesterday; it was a terrific second half from Tottenham, and based on how the game was going, I anticipated them to win, but I never expected such a high scoreline.
With Newcastle playing so well recently and climbing safely away from the relegation zone, I thought they would get away with a draw but Spurs just demolished them. Newcastle were stunned but so were the Tottenham fans because they are capable of playing excellent football just like when they defeated Manchester City away earlier in the season.
3478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 03, 2022, 10:28:50 PM
I am not so confident that the USA will go through to the next round alongside England from Group B. Any one of three UEFA team that are fighting for the final spot (Wales, Scotland and Ukraine) could qualify alongside England... and on a one-to-one match all three are capable of beating the USA.

It is obvious England are favourites to win the group but at the very least they should finish as runners-up if things go wrong. I am aware the USA needs to do well in the tournament to give the MLS another big boost to elevate soccer as the top sport in the USA so to that point I really want the USA to do well but I think England will qualify past the group stages with one of Wales, Scotland or Ukraine.

I think USA had a very impressive performance on qualifiers stage side by side with Canada, and were lucky by entering this group, which gives them total conditions to pass next phase with England, the favorite one from the group.

Opposite to olympic games, world cup is always a big challenge for US since the first stage, but I hope they are able to make it till quarter finals this time (or maybe Canada which can also represent north america on the competition)...
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 03, 2022, 09:17:18 PM
I read what you wrote about Wales but if they win the play-off it will be a fascinating group. Imagine Group B will be: England, Iran, USA and one of Wales/Scotland/Ukraine

Imagine, not only will England vs USA take place but England vs Iran and also Iran vs USA will be in the same group. Sports meets politics with all the history between them  Grin

I actually like the group US got into.  Be nice if Wales doesn't make it they are a pretty strong club.  No matter the bracket US will always struggle to escape from the group stages.  They are getting better but no where close to competing at the highest level.  I'm sure englad was happy to see the US squad in their bracket
3480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 03, 2022, 06:47:24 PM
Here are the group tables for the World Cup:

Host nation Qatar have a small chance of progressing past the group stage because Senegal and Netherlands are favourites. It is important for the host nation to go far in to the tournament to keep home fans enthusiastic but either way there will be a huge interest in the tournament.
