how long does it normally take to download blockchain after installation? its taking me ages ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) 5 years old + Fast block time = long chain

We must adhere to consensus and decentralization and not succumb to small group of greedy BU miners ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) ^^^ This guy gets it.

|
|
oh look at the blockstream centralists wanting non-core implementations to fork off.. they cant cope that the community want consensus and not dictators.
blockstream centralists are now so desperate that they are no longer(playing a victim card) shouting out fear of forks.. but instead (dropped their victim card) to now be begging other implementations to fork.. but atleast they are now admitting their centralist desires
desperate desperate desperate
lets just concentrate on using the consensus code. and let the corporations fall into issues of not repaying their $90m by not being able to commercialise bitcoin to repay investors.
You dipshits will never get community consensus, only hashrate majority.

lol where's the BU hardfork then?
Hurry up and fork, this is like one of those japanese cartoons where the characters take the whole half-hour to talk about the massive fight they're about to have.
You've all been talking for 2 years, when will you actually do something?
I'm not a big blocker but I can read. BU now has more miner support than Segwit. Don't know what they're waiting for but it's coming.

v1.5.10 Flux difficulty algorithm hard fork has been successfully activated and is running nicely. Ubiq Community Manager, Alex Sterk, will be on the blockchain dynamics podcast tomorrow and will discuss Ubiq and the Ubiq launch. Make sure you tune in. https://twitter.com/ChainDynamics/status/827692777236463617More announcements to come. Nice!!! Thanks for the updates. Awareness is what UBQ needs - especially before the big relaunch. Things should get exciting soon.

The tide has turned against Core. BU seem unstoppable here.

Romania was on the brink of a full-blown revolution this coming week so I'm not surprised they pulled back. That said, I don't believe this is the end I it. I'm curious to see what happens next.

L.M.A.O., Vlad. I have read this whole thread — from the very beginning — for about 2 hours now, and to be honest, I respect you for all that in–depth thinking. I love riddles myself, and if I had been here back in 2013, I would have looked into that riddle (unfortunately, I didn't even have an internet connection back then ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) ). I know bitcointalk members can be frustrating sometimes. (They probably never search for anything; they love easy, spammy threads. But not all, of course.) Most of your based–on–facts predictions are reasonably rational, and make sense. But I can't imagine what's in your head ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) , all that thinking ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) , DAMN!! Thanks man, I appreciate it. It's not always thinking, sometimes I just go to bed, wake up, and oh, there it is. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) It's actually fun - nobody can do something for too long, for free, unless they enjoy it. Trolls and all, I've never blocked anyone. If you dish it out like I do, then you gotta also take it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Interesting message on your avatar: "Life doesn't always give you what you want." So true.

As always, you are so correct, Vlad. I now have Cezar cleaning up the place for Satoshi's imminent arrival: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.budgetsaresexy.com%2Fimages%2Fhouse-cleaner-boy.jpg&t=663&c=mWLvyG4S9g37vA) Apples or more pics of Cezar? Your call. That's a fake Romanian. These are real Romanian peasants. The one who's goat happy and can't stop laughing is probably the crazy one in the family. haha. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBNLE6QE.jpg&t=663&c=MgsOgqIRmqwMXA)

Don't you mean 12Teen? lol, that's so disgusting. Can't you see things are getting serious around here? I mean, Satoshi is about to come visit and you aren't even house broken yet. We gotta clean this place up before our guest of honor arrives.

First BTC.TOP now Gavin. So much for Bitcoin being the people's coin, so much for letting markets decide which chain they want. They clearly think they can be the long chain which would mean they can get the big Chinese miners to turn on Core. I wonder how they're gonna pull that off. I mean, *cough* they would need Satoshi on their side and of course that can't happen. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Vlad's pillow?![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fd7lqdSc.jpg&t=663&c=UkDILVKPXi-OrA) "Mere pentru perne. Primi mere pentru perne." Hahaha. Did you use Google translate? Did a good job.

^UBQ is being bought up by Wall Street Winklevoss types... not your style bruh :-D
This 10 for 1 split with a tight supply is a no brainer if you've got the btc to invest. Really good risk/reward for UBQ with this new relaunch. So it is my kind of thing. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Don't you think, if it worhts so much, it could be good at some point? Btw, nice new acc gembitz...
I think Gembitz is busy with another coin. Trumpet or something. lol I agree with these guys that ETH has had a lot of scammy drama and pump and dumps. With a good dev and SOLID development there is a lot of upside potential for $UBQ. $BITTREX is a good place to really get the ball rolling.

Soon every TurdCoin 💩 will upgrade to segwit so it won't mean much.

Very smart and an extreme introvert, most happy sitting in a corner alone oppose to interacting publically, especially with more than one person at a time. He does better interacting via the Web.
I seriously don't have an issue with him in spite of continually sticking it up his ass for that BFL stunt he pulled on April Fools Day back in the day.
Most highly analytical guys are like that. I'm an introvert/extrovert hybrid thingie, a different kind of odd. He seems to come up with some of the most creative stuff at Core. And he's outspoken, professional and incredibly articulate. That's valuable. How do I fool, err, convince these devs that Bitcoin is the devil and IXcoin is the hero saving crypto from its villains?

I'd definitely buy some but I'm on the run 🏃. FYI, iXcoin has never been pumped either. Just the 2013 spike like ALL coins had and a few stress tests I ran. It's gonna be 6 years old in April - oldest scam/pump-free coin in the world. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Groestlcoin (GRS) was the first with SegWit activated.
Someone already did it? And the price didn't skyrocket? Dude, that sucks!!!

FYI, I've personally met Luke.
Really? I've never met a single person, something always came up. What was your opinion of him?
