3461  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020 Money is king Again Good news on: August 31, 2020, 11:35:27 PM
Only Thing what will matter is Money!!
You really know nothing much about basic needs, do you?
Until the last drop of water or the last bit of food is not available shall you realize that you can not eat or survive on your dollar bills.

Why do you think the world is currently on it knees right now? Is it because of the need for Money or Health well-being?
3462  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are bitmex just trying to scam with their kyc policy? on: August 31, 2020, 10:53:12 PM
They have given people time. I don't think they have any ill intentions such as scamming. I am actually surprised that they didn't have any strict KYC procedures this long, yet they were one of the biggest crypto derivatives exchange.

Trying to prove that someone is not from a restricted country minus KYC is close to impossible for them.

By the way for your information, you can not do futures trading on Binance without first completing KYC verification. Bybit will soon follow suit especially now that they have started accepting fiat deposits on their platform.
3463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Career Through Bitcointalk, Why Not? Newbie May Need To Know! on: August 31, 2020, 09:28:10 PM
it is true here you will find a lot of opportunities but not everyone here will be able to get a job. Almost all jobs here have been either taken by senior members or those who have a good trust score.

It is not easy for a newbie, Jr Member, and even a Member to get a simple job. The demand is high here but the trust level is very low.
The senior members you see today where once Newbies. Everybody starts from somewhere. What matter most is patience, be a good member of the community and always strive to learn more

OP, we also have users who offer escrow services and currency exchange services
3464  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I Supply you daily BITCOIN, Ethereum, USTD for USD/RMB on: August 31, 2020, 08:52:24 PM
Daytrader27 is a scammer. Don't deal with this scammer. I already alerted bitcointalk people here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269418.0

So beware of that scammer. Otherwise u will loose your money.
Thanks for the Alert.
I notice there's no flag that was opened against the profile so i decided to create one. It could save newbies and guest visitors from getting scammed
Please support: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2279

OP is USTD some new token I am not aware about or it was just some typo. Perhaps you meant USDT?

3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We as a community must boycott Coinmarketcap.com on: August 31, 2020, 08:31:12 PM
Been using coingecko for a while now. I stopped using coinmarketcap somewhere in 2018 and even removed all the bookmarks on all my browsers. What pissed me off was how they would list and highly rank scam exchanges based on the daily trading volume.
3466  Other / Meta / Re: Do I have a chance to recover my account? on: August 30, 2020, 03:51:49 PM
I don't think you have a chance. Once you have been permanently banned the very first time it means you have to simply move on. Any attempt to create a second account without getting your first account unbanned simply means you are evading ban which is another offense

How many accounts do you have? Malmoun is one of them, isn't it?
.
He has been having so many alts and most got banned. Check out this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117400
Perhaps it needs revisiting just in case some alts have been missed out
3467  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Localbitcoins] Additional verification no longer required for 6 countries. on: August 30, 2020, 02:11:29 PM
I have been using LBC than completely decentralized p2p platform because as an advertiser on LBC I feel comfortable while trading with verified accounts but for someone who don't want to reveal their personal details just for few conversion should use the alternative like localcryptos but some countries don't have any volume so they should go for paxful or LBC if they very unlucky.
I am pretty sure countries that were affected have had traders migrate to alternative platforms so the volumes could be pretty decent in the alternative platforms like Localcryptos as compared to Localbitcoins as of today.

I still don't understand why they had to introduce very strict verification procedures only to relax them for some countries. Maybe they have realized that the popularity is going down the drain as the exodus of traders continues.
3468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trustworthy Free-Crypto Sites on: August 30, 2020, 01:16:29 PM
If we take into account that someone can earn only $1 today, it would be only $30 per month - which is of course very little, but in some countries a lot of money. If the price of BTC goes up only x10, it would mean that the value has increased to a nice $300.
It's still not worth the trouble considering the resources one will have to put in there such as time, electricity and internet costs. I am pretty sure 1$ won't be enough to cover even the daily costs so the faucet hunter won't even be able to save his BTC worth $30 every month and have to wait for BTC price to go x10

5 years ago I waste 2-3 hours a day on faucets and thus earned my first BTC, and in 2 years that same BTC was worth x100 more - it's good that I kept it.
Wow, you were one of the lucky few. Faucets back then were so generous because not so many people would believe BTC would even get anywhere close to  $20K or even a half of it.
3469  Economy / Lending / Re: I need loan 0.18 btc on: August 28, 2020, 09:04:26 PM
...I am a legit borrower and then i will give it to you my government id's for
verification...
I think I have this kind of promise before. Not so many days back  Grin

Imagine someone just wakes up one day, creates and account on Bitcointalk, and then they think they will just get to the lending board, request for a loan which will be granted to them with no collateral or questions asked. I may also be stupid, but some people are beyond stupid.
3470  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What's the best wallet for Mac? on: August 28, 2020, 08:45:43 PM
More multicurrency wallets here that you can use on MacOS

1. Guarda Wallet - https://guarda.com - Partially Open source (part of the code is available for the public to view)
2. Atomic Wallet - https://atomicwallet.io - Not Open source
3. Jaxx Liberty - https://jaxx.io - Partially Open source (part of the code is available for the public to view)

Disclaimer: Although I have used the wallets in the past, by suggesting them here,  it does not mean I am endorsing any of them
3471  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: August 27, 2020, 09:30:35 AM
@TryNinja, it looks like bonus part is down; i mean https://posts.ninjastic.space  Tongue Both the post archive and the addresses search function don't seem to work. I remember using it sometime back and it was working flawlessly.
I tried to do some word search and even left the page open for over an hour but nothing comes up. Tested on both Chrome and Firefox.

3472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can I send BTC to Segwit Address using the BEP2 network in Binance on: August 27, 2020, 08:56:25 AM
No, you can not or else you might lose your coins. BTC based on BEP2 is a token created on Binance Chain (it's pegged to BTC price but it's not the real Bitcoin) and therefore it won't be compatible with Addresses of Bitcoin Blockchain Segwit addresses inclusive.

However, you can still withdraw BEP2 BTC into a wallet that supports BNB tokens like Trustwallet (using the BNB address)

3474  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think about this trading bot? on: August 27, 2020, 08:05:23 AM
Firstly I want to say that I am not really familiar or having any experience with a trading bot
Recently I had seen a trading bot service[1] that offering ROI on average up to 25% in my opinion it was too good to be true since according to the practical comparison of bots[2] made by PremiumCodeX it only has an average 10% ROI.
The best time to gauge if a bot is good spot trading wise is when the market is sideways/accumulation phase or when we are having a bear run and futures trading wise when the market is side sideways/accumulation phase. It's pretty easy to make profits when a trend is on like the recent upward price movements for most coins. Some even move up to 150% within 24 hours.

In the current market condition 20% is easy to achieve even in a day when trading manually so long as you know when the upward trend of a specific coin has begun.
3475  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - unable to send bought bitcoins via credit card on: August 25, 2020, 09:13:34 PM
This is something the blockchain.com support should be able to assist you with. It looks like an internal error from their system. Try submitting a request to their support using this link: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Select request type as Product Problems: Sending, Receiving, Settings, and Other Wallet, Lockbox, or Block Explorer Related Questions

3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction unconfirmed since 8 hours on: August 25, 2020, 03:19:11 PM
1. The fee is so low according to the current stat of mempool - https://mempool.space. It's at only 3 sats/byte.  You might have to wait for over 24 hours or beyond for the transaction to get confirmed

2.  Your transaction is not Replace-by-fee (RBF) enabled so it won't be possible to bump the fee for it to get confirmed quicker.
3477  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Temtrade.net is legit? on: August 25, 2020, 03:07:38 PM
Hello everyone,
I deposited 0.01 BTC on this site and now they are saying me that if I want to withdraw it, the minimum amount is 0.05 (500 eur aprox.) I don't know if they are scammers or what but now I waste my time and money. Thanks you for your help to get more info about this website. You think they are scammers or not.

Thanks you again.
It all smells like scam. I know exchanges have withdrawal limits mostly because of the withdrawal fees but I have never encountered one that required me to have a minimum of 0.05 BTC not even 0.005 BTC
Do not send any more money to them. How did you come across the exchange thou? It looks new.

Their withdrawals term says nothing about having a minimum amount: https://temtrade.net/terms
The terms they have on this page; https://temtrade.net/fees says that it's easy and almost you're at convenience by using them. But what did they just told you is a condition that's brought inconvenience. They should also show the market that they have just like any other exchanges.
It's because their terms and conditions are a direct copy-paste from Bittrex Inc.'s Terms of service  - https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000560871-Bittrex-Inc-Terms-of-Service-Version-3  Cheesy
Typical scammer character.
3478  Other / Meta / Re: PM Search on: August 25, 2020, 02:36:23 PM
I'm not sure I know what you mean. Is it about that search?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=search

I have tested it and it has already worked. But maybe I got it wrong Smiley
He said he tried using it with the search box blank but it wasn't working. He wants messages to be sorted in a way that he can see all messages from a specific member.

OP try using the sorting Feature. When you click on "from" it will arrange the sender names in alphabetical order (ascending or descending) and then you can get the required sender's name in a given order after selecting the page where a the first letter of the name lies.
3479  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lucius is signature spammer by dkbit98 ? on: August 25, 2020, 01:50:23 PM
Nah, you are not a signature spammer. You are actually some one knowledge and helpful as I have read most of your responses to different topics around the forum.
Why would someone take it so personal just because you disagreed with them on a few topics. The signature quota jibe was below the belt and wasn't really necessary
3480  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC lost on: August 25, 2020, 11:48:21 AM
It probably means you transaction has not yet been confirmed due to low transaction fees.

1. What's the name of the "normal" wallet your were sending BTC to?
2. Is your transaction Replace by Fee (RBF) enabled? If yes, it's possible to bump up the fee but it might not be possible doing it in Blockchain wallet
3. Can share your TxID if you don't mind, so that we can tell what is possibly wrong? If you can't, try checking if the transaction is confirmed or not using a bitcoin blockchain explorer like blockchair.com
