3461  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest me a good betting site? on: April 30, 2017, 04:25:43 PM
I bet on almost all sites that have signature campaign here, I play casino games also, so which ever site you choose you can't make a mistake, all of them are good. Depending from your betting strategy, or you can choose just by liking interface, or you can choose casino with some good promotion. Coinbet24 is new place for betting. betcoin.ag, nitrogen you can find in my signature, sportsbet.io are just few sites where you can have good fun and maybe you can earn some money, good luck!

I want to hear people here that are playing gamble at nitrogensports, also did they won and have a successful withdrawal from the site. Actually i just bet and always lose so i want to hear those people who won and got a successful withdrawal.

yes i played there and i had a good experience deposit and withdrawals are fast and the fee is ok, but they have a fixed kind of betting and very few players among which you can choose, it's a bit limited for esports but it's the best we have
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MegaTilt Poker Club on: April 30, 2017, 04:22:38 PM
Only 2 players are need for each tournament to start.

if there is not a minimum to pay i can play, but if this site require to pay to try i won't bother, ok i tried to log in and create an account but the thing is empty, are you supposed to run a tournament with so few players? it doesn't make sense to me the winner would be obvious
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ANY BTC HOLDER WORST NIGHTMARE, and it happened to me... on: April 30, 2017, 04:20:32 PM

Did you lose the private key to 1DGLZ2cDMrUPor4CmWxjsVzzYSyimUUYbC?

If so you should probably take it out of your signature.

i see zero bitcoin there, can't be that, how many coin you lost with this password that you forgot? because i find also some times that i'm too paranoid, but not for small amount, but for big amount i usually keep them in cold storage to avoid any real trouble
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bubble pop?? on: April 30, 2017, 10:27:45 AM
Anyone that has been around here for a while probably realizes that the crypto markets are in a bubble. There have been crazy gains over the past year and/or months, and the upward trend is simply unsustainable forever. It may be time to start considering diversifying into more stable assets, such as FIAT/commodity derivatives such as bitUSD, Tether, bitGold, bitSilver, Nubits, etc... (any other suggestions?)

Now, to the point of this thread... my question is not if, but when do you think the bubble will pop? Are we talking weeks, months, or another year+? I know my answer, but I am curious what everyone else thinks.

what if this is not a bubble and the real bubble is coming? you would be surprised how much this crypto thing can go high when this happen, i still consider a joke all the marketcap of all the altcoin combined was about time that more investors recognized it and start to enter in the market, real game changer is still missed though better to hold for now as many as you can, high chance in the future that these coins will reach the moon
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Woodcoin [LOG] Pure Skein POW, Logarithmic Release, No Premine nor ICO on: April 30, 2017, 10:25:30 AM
maybe it could help to have the possibility to solo mine here, there is a version that still work of woodcoin which is based on another client that is not bitcore like the old version that allow solo mining?
3466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address - are there enough for us all? on: April 30, 2017, 10:23:59 AM

Maybe in 100 years after we are long gone this could become an issue. For now there are plenty of addresses to go around.

Ha... this is not a problem for even another 1000 year... the number is so so so huge...

That claim has been refuted many times

And exactly according to the laws of physics (or of this Universe if you want me to put it this way). In short, the lowest theoretically possible amount of energy equals the energy of a single photon whose wavelength is approximately the size of the observable universe. You see that would be small enough to theoretically build a device that would count to 2^256 in less than half a jiffy, so "nothing more efficient possible" is a false assumption. And that has nothing to do with thermodynamics as such (as this picture suggests)

What the heck are you babbling about?

Laundauer's limit defines the amount of energy needed here.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landauer%27s_principle

Did you read my posts above and before?

I think you may really want to read them again to understand that you have chosen the wrong person to jump at. If you still fail to understand what my "babbling" is about (which I'm not surprised, anyway), I can tell you that the question is certainly not about building a real computer (as the legend makes it unambiguously clear). Nevertheless, I can point you to the relevant part which you seem to have missed entirely:

Since the text in the picture above talks about the lowest possible energy for storing a single bit (it is not my idea after all, so ask the dude who drew that image), a photon with a wavelength equal to the size of the Universe will have such energy

So wtf are you attacking me here? And what exactly do you disagree with?

but what you refer is another thing in that image they are talking about brute forcing, not the lowest possible energy, and brute forcing isn't possible no matter how much energy you get, this was the point of that image, nitpicking and playing with semantic just to say that something is wrong is stupid
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins are ready to lift off in 2018! on: April 30, 2017, 10:19:16 AM
Bitcoin still sets the path for all other coins, with its own success. This is good for Crypto in global, and we can see much progress lately, many new features and solutions. Even big companies have thair own plans..Everybady talks about digital money. How will markecup be shared this is different story, maybe even more interesting.

i also think so, the traction of all the altcoin is lead from bitcoin, it's the increase of bitcoin that brought the recent boom in the value of all the altcoin and more is coming, we might see like the thread starter is thinking, some good old coins take off like feathercoin, they are pumping it once again, you have also machiencoin recent 3x pump
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get together for altcoin projects? on: April 30, 2017, 10:18:18 AM
linkedin is a good start point to meet people for this kind of project, if you look carefully they even link their face and everything to their linkedin profile, but i think some of them maybe are fake, i'm not trusting someone unless he put his ID, but no one will do that
3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your biggest casino win? on: April 29, 2017, 03:20:38 PM
A week ago on bitcoin.ag  I won 1.37 btc with one bonus on slots, but my biggest win is 1.8 btc last year in some other casino. Let's wait for some trols to come and tell us how its impossible to win something like this on betcoin.ag.
This wins doesn't come easily to be clear, I risked many times without any success. With slots you need to careful, risk how much you can and when you lose that stop, come back again with a bit more when you have, in one moment you will win something good.

that's luck man, you won but how many lose their money? i bet at least 100, yes there are lucky winner of course, like there are lucky winners in real life when they buy the ticket for the jackpot, but does it matter? not much, because the fact that you won doesn't mean thta if i try now i can win 1.8 btc like you, probably i would lose that same amount
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coins with a distribution linked to bitcoin other than byteball or just airdops? on: April 29, 2017, 03:16:58 PM
I have seen the byteball project and lumens let you connect a bitcoin address and distribute coins that way. Are there any other coins with a distribution phase similar to that? Are there also any good airdrops coming up? It is hard to monitor all these coins, so any help would be apprecaited!

there is a fresh new one that i'm following and they claimed a 1:1 with bitcoin, and it's called BitCore, it's also very profitable to mine at the monent, there was a planned airdrop with signature but they changed their mind at the last minute or i don't know what they want to do with it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.260
3471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: have you ever held a stupidly high percentage of a coin's total supply? on: April 29, 2017, 03:15:04 PM
and this isn't for the developers to answer. we already can guess that.

i've been reading up on NXT recently and it seems that there were a few people who got over 5% of the total supply from its ico.

have you ever been a proper alt whale? there must be some people out there who've gathered up crazy high proportions of coins when they were worth nothing.

it's too dangerous to hold such amount, the best i had was 0.1 with soem enw coins, but then was quickly 0.01 and lower, if suddenly the volume crash you are there baghoding useless shit coins, i prefer to have low amount among many coins than focusing on a single one, but if you are lucky with that single one you can be millionaire with such crazy holding

where all this come from do you have a source to back this up? if this was possible it was already real by now, but i don't see anything that can count to 2^256 in a short time like you said, that image simply say thay you need more energy than the universe can hold for now to run a device that can break the 2^256 key, and not even quantum computer can break that
3473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tainted Bitcoins? on: April 29, 2017, 03:07:07 PM
By converting currency for a fee you are operating as a money transmitter and my be breaking the law.

You could also be accused of money laundering if your trading with criminals.

If a seller tells you point blank the funds are used or have been used for/in illegal transactions/activities then you are an accomplice to any and all of those crimes after the fact.

Know your local laws.

In addition if you have stolen coins from an online exchange and then turn around and try to sell those same coins on the same exchange they were stolen from they might have legal ground to just take back their coins and give you the finger.

how can someone prevent this? tainted bitcoin could be the one that someone is using to buy altcoin on some exchange and then bought by someone else which is innocent and didn't know that they were tainted also tainted bitcoin can be mixed with other not tainted bitcoin and sold with them on some exchange without no one knowing or worse sold to someone who have nothing to do with those criminal and spread them to friends and such
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Woodcoin [LOG] Pure Skein POW, Logarithmic Release, No Premine nor ICO on: April 29, 2017, 02:35:43 PM
with this very low hashrate this coin is at danger of an attack, how do we know if this coin is not being 51%'ed and the attacker is already double spending on the exchange? the explorer say something about it? i ask because i see huge hash appearing and disappearing
3475  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 29, 2017, 10:34:37 AM
I don't understand how they claimed that the hi and lo game is provably fair when I will double my faucet earning then lose back all of it..

you just said it, if you double first all the earning and then lose everything, you have zero gain and zero lost, therefore it's fair, the only thing not fair is the house hedge that in the long run will eat all your income and make your running -ev, 1% may look small but with huge amount in play it's not at all
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone NOT made profit in this astonishing bull run?? on: April 29, 2017, 10:31:26 AM
My belly is full of profit. I have done nothing but hodl some alts (and of course BTC). All my losses are wiped out.

Has anyone NOT made profit during this bullish 18 month boost from $8bn to over $30bn total crypto market cap??

Some say it was always going to happen, but it's still astonishing to me.
The only way anyone loses money is by shorting or not buying into the market in the current bull run!

but someone lost money here because not all can do profit, trading it's a sum zero, if few are on grene streak, other are on red, maybe one is the winner and many other small fish are the loser, but you get the point, it's not noticeable if many people lose few cent and one is winning a tons, it's like he stole the coins from them, and the story repeat itself
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Bitcoin, USDT, USD and EUR? on: April 29, 2017, 10:28:11 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to this scene and started a little bit of trading with bitcoin and altcoins on Bittrex. Now I have seen that on Bittrex you can trade your Bitcoin for USDT (USD Tether I guess), but it seems that this price is volatile (https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/). So is this trustworthy? Are there other exchanges where I can trade the Bitcoin for 'real' dollars or euros? And if I want to cash out some of my Bitcoins in the future, what would be the best way for me to do this (I'm from the Netherlands)?

Many thanks in Advance!

i think it's better for you to use exchange that have very big volume for selling large quantity of bitcoin in euro or dollars, like kraken or coinbase, they are the bitcoin exchange, bittrex and poloniex are more like altcoin exchange to me, don't get me wrong you can trade there with bitcoin and real money, but they deal more with altcoin
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with "Lightning Network" support on: April 29, 2017, 10:25:14 AM
pretty much every segwit coin, will have lightining network, you can vertcoin and digibyte, they have segwit activated

Nice thread idea. It would be interesting if you'd add other stats such as block # of activation, block # of enforcement with links to each and prices at each time vs. now.

you can search on whattomine for that or coinmarketcap, these coins are well known by the community, very easy to find about the specifications
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What unknown alt coin best to mine? on: April 29, 2017, 10:24:04 AM
search for yourself, no one is stupid to share a profitable coin, maybe there are secret coins with better profit than known coins, but they are minable with a very small miners, like 1 rig? if you have a big farm you can't mine them, and what about searching on the exchange what coin could give you a better profit? there is also the ann thread for this

yeah i made profit with this last crazy increase of all the alt, all went green, how can't you not profit from it? it's impossible lol they pumped every shit coin out there, even old coin that have very small marketcap and can be mined only with a single gpu, i also see that investors still like to pump x11 and family, which is plagued by asic, i recently bought some cheap altcoin, and some of them wnet easily x3 like atomcoin, there is definitely tons of money to be made here, someone i feel dirty like i'm legal scamming other investors or something
