You have 2 options: Restore your native BIOS using programs on your computer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOGJIaK2fiM
or do it using the IC programmer.

The first method may have many options, but the main point is to detect the video card and update the BIOS.
If this is not possible, then option 2.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on 3050ti on: December 18, 2021, 05:06:11 PM
In such a laptop, as a rule, one fan is installed, and its price is no more than $ 20.
Mining will be profitable only if the payback period of the laptop is less than the warranty period.
Better to buy RX580 for $ 500 and mine coins.
This video card works without problems for 36 months or more in mining.
well i made fully payback rtx 3060 laptop mined eth for almost 5 months at first january 2021 and stoped after eth fee hardfork

nice back then when defy driving fee to the roof and as a miner makes 2x more profitable sometimes, after that the laptop only for gaming & trading
From January to August 2021, it was possible to recoup a laptop if you bought it at a good price. But now it’s impossible to repeat that payback if the price of Ethereum doesn’t rise.
But as a proponent of long-term mining, I prefer video cards.
I saw miners who broke 2-3 laptops out of 10 laptops in the same period of time.

what is the 580 Hashrate?

FP91G posted this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YXLubTptyI9n_dTNvuPBvqrjKWAx36DbhYj2H7-atcM/edit#gid=506857257

There's AMD section where you can find the hashrate for RX 580 4gb and 8Gb models

RX 580 4Gb - 720 Mh on the pool
RX 580 8Gb - 850 Mh on the pool

Nvidias are more effective on this algo

Thanks bro, any online calculator profit?

https://minerstat.com/coin/TON
The price of the coin changes, so the data in the table to which I gave the link may be out of date.
But 30-40 hours after the start of mining, you will receive more accurate data about the profit.
The most important thing is that your hash rate does not lag much behind the data in the table, although the hash rate changes in waves when mining this coin. I don’t know what it’s connected with.
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's your expectation for 3090ti in terms of hashrate on: December 17, 2021, 02:51:11 PM
Would the +100W TDP (450W) affect mining efficiency or can the power limit probably just be tuned down more than now without a significant loss?
Are you asking about the RTX 3090 graphics card?
The optimal solution for mining this video card is 114-120 megahash with a consumption of about 300 watts.
You will not be very successful if you add the power limit.
This will only lead to additional overheating of the video card.
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Toncoin mining on: December 17, 2021, 02:43:53 PM
Any non kyc exchanges?  Can you use uniswap?  I'm confused if I can transfer directly to an eth address?
This is not an ETH token.
A tokenized asset is probably traded on uniswap.
If you send your coins from the original wallet to the ethereum address, then either the wallet will write that it is impossible to send to this address, or you will lose your coins.
Send the minimum amount of coins for transfer to the exchange.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best in RTX series on: December 17, 2021, 02:34:12 PM
I'm hearing rumour about how good rtx3050ti are good for mining though power consumption wise can anyone confirm this for me? I'm only seen 3050ti in laptops not standalone graphic cards
Don't trust rumors. Graphics cards in laptops are a very bad option for mining right now.
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050-rumored-to-feature-8gb-ram-might-compete-with-intel-arc-a380-with-6gb
If you like rumors, then analogs of the rtx-3050 should be on sale next year.
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Blockchain compute GPU AMD -160 on: December 17, 2021, 02:24:23 PM
You can buy a rtx3060ti non LHR for 1300$ in my country as we speak if you get it from wholesalers which will give you 62MH so why buy a GPU that gives 70+MH at 2000$? Feels like a waste of money to me, in fact getting two 1660 super is even better

But 2x 1660 Super need more power and for me these cards have not enough vram. And if you want to sell the cards later, you get more for RTX 30xx cards than for the old 1660 Super
2060 Super are also a good deal -> 45mh@120w for 600€ used cards or 750€ new cards
RTX4000 if you get it cheap -> 38mh@100w for around 600€ used cards

There are many options and each of us has his own strategy.

Kindly explain how two 1660super or ti use more power cos I have these cards and they only draw 50watts using Trex miner and it's absolute core settings very good for power saving so yes they are extremely good GPUs for those who want to safe more power as possible
I always count the average power consumption: the power consumption of the entire mining farm per wattmeter / the number of video cards.
If you buy a wattmeter or smart plug with this function, then you will be surprised because you will have different data.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need info about rtx a4000 on: December 16, 2021, 02:50:30 PM
A4000 and A5000 all the way, they erase the issue of mistakenly buying LHR 3080 and 3090 and of cos the 3060ti too but right now isn't the time to buy new GPUs, this is the time to start rounding up for the next bear market, I'm guessing this will happen in February 2022
I think it's better to buy regular gaming video cards, because they can be sold to gamers if the mining situation is very bad.
Soon there should be news about the new testnets Ethereum 2,and if everything goes well, then video cards should definitely not be bought.

A4000 are just 10% better than 3070ti and costs 10% more, but they are much harder to resell after Ethereum 2 Undecided Cry, yupp i think it's better to buy regular gaming gpu. Wink
Why sell such a graphics card? It has no LHR restrictions and will perfectly mine other popular coins with a consumption of no more than 120 watts.
And if you want to sell them, then they will also be in good demand. There aren’t enough gamers to buy all video cards from miners.
Your buyers will be other miners.
3469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Blockchain compute GPU AMD -160 on: December 16, 2021, 02:43:44 PM
In my country, for $ 1700, I'd rather buy a RTX 3060ti without LHR(62 MHS). This is also a very unwise buying decision.
All old AMD video cards are now inferior in performance of the 3000 series Nvidia in mining.
They will pay off for a very long time after the end of Ethereum mining.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 on: December 16, 2021, 02:35:58 PM
Hi,

I am having a problem with my newly installed NVIDIA GeForce GT 730. I chose to mine BTG - ZHash (EWBF), but it stays in the STARTING mode. The error message is"

"Failed to initialize miner on GPU0:ZOTAC NVIDIA GT730
       no kernel image is available
        no devices for mining"

Please help.
Try another miner
https://btg.2miners.com/help
https://btg.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted
Мay have old drivers installed.
How much memory does your video card have?
These video cards were produced with 1, 2 and 4 GB of memory.
To be honest, this is a useless GPU for mining.
But don't give up.

Whales Pool
https://tonwhales.com/mining
Wallets
https://ton.org/wallets

Hashing algorithm: darkcoin

Settings for HiveOS (custom miner)
Installation URL:
https://whalepool-cdn.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com/software/danila-miner/hive/danila-miner-2.1.4-bionic.tar.gz

Amd video cards mine this algorithm poorly, but at RTX 3060 and higher it is more profitable to mine this coin.

https://t.me/koliamainer/5828

is this new coin, or old coin changing the algo, that darkcoin remind me dash  Cheesy , any info about amd performance, got 3060 laptop

i should try for fun, sometimes this gonna get quite profit for while before anyone join the network
Look at this data from Russian miners, if the profit suits you, then you can try

Do you have such a motherboard?
Buy any cheapest PCI network card and reinstall your Linux OS.
You may have problems with the drivers for the network card.
Or find out which network card is integrated into your motherboard to install drivers.
3473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1050ti + I7 7th gen on: December 15, 2021, 03:54:17 PM
Start exploring with this resources.
The GPU 1050ti has 4GB of memory. This is not enough to mine the most profitable coins, but trying mining is enough.

https://mining.help/
https://mining.help/profit/
https://whattomine.com/gpus/31-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti?cost=0.1
Thanks your information . I learn lots of think here . I appreciate that .

1050ti? I'm not sure if a 4gb GPU can still do the work very well today unless the coin you want to mine is new coin, you can easily get the work done by installing Nicehash mining software on this pc and do some mining benchmark you will see the easiest coins to mine on your GPU (1050ti)

Yes my gpu is asus 1050ti 4gb . I also think that I should start mining from new coin . Thanks for giving advice . I appreciate you .

you'll need about 10 of them and can't mine Eth with it. Roll Eyes yay maybe if you're mining RVN or ETC it could work, 1050ti for etc with ethermine on speed 12-15 mh/s.

Thanks. But I have a question that is I don't understand the mega hash system . Can you please tell more about it ?

I did not give you this link for nothing
https://whattomine.com/gpus/31-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti?cost=0.1
For your graphics card, the most profitable coin is Flux (FLUX).
But I advise you to choose the coin that has liquidity and is traded on many exchanges.

Then follow on
https://miningpoolstats.stream/flux
Choose one of the first three pools and read the instructions for setting up the miner.

Do the same with the coin you like.
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx 580 25mh/s on: December 15, 2021, 03:48:02 PM
Hi i have a rx 580 card and i have a problem with hashrate. My card only reaches 25mh, I tried to change the bios, but I have newer memories, is there anyone who could correctly change the bios to reach the speed of 31mh.
Unfortunately, I can't put a bios file here: /
Are you running Windows OS? Change that to hive OS first because hive OS has inbuilt bios flasher exactly for cards like rx580, before doing this check if your compute mode is activated in Radeon settings, also you might want to know the bios version of your card, this way we will find the perfect OC settings for your GPU, it should be Samsung, micron and others
If compute mode is not activated, then the hashrate will be less than half the value specified by Kapec.
The easiest way is to keep the original BIOS, and then change the BIOS of the video card.
Be sure to keep the original BIOS from each video card, they can be different.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O1ZnLLz2qI

I change the BIOS in Windows, and flash it using the Hive OS.
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH miner , Dual wallet adresses? on: December 15, 2021, 03:40:19 PM
Is it possible to use Dual wallet adresses on single rigg? maybe Switch adresses after  a set time or loop ?
If you have an even number of video cards and you want to honestly divide the profit between two, then you run 2 miners at the same time.
The first miner mines on video cards numbered 0,1,2,
the second miner mines on video cards numbered 3,4,5.
If the farm consists of 6 video cards.
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best in RTX series on: December 15, 2021, 03:33:09 PM
i am selling my old gtx cards and want your opinions about the best rtx card from the watt/hash point of view
If you are a beginner, then don't buy hot video cards like the RTX 3080 and above.
Better use RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 with any modifications in the name(Ti, super- if it will) . They do not heat up, do not consume a lot of electricity and do not require the purchase of a closed case with active cooling.
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody know which coin the Gekko Compac F can mine profitably? on: December 15, 2021, 03:29:43 PM

"Stock hashing speed: 200 GH (please note: these miners run very hot and you must provide active cooling such as fan)
High Speed: 350 GH++ (Running at clock speed of 545 MHz Higher speed requires usb port above spec). To reach max speed of 500GH you will need 3amp usb port per miner!"
I wouldn't waste my time on this.
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Simpleming, HiveOS, SMOS on: December 15, 2021, 03:23:04 PM
Huawei CAT12 has 3xLAN ports.
Connect your mining farm with a LAN cable, and everything should work if the network card and cable are working properly.
I have not seen such problems in Hive OS. Sometimes 1 or 2 times a month the farm stops mining, but this is not a Hive OS problem. This is most likely a problem with old video cards.
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Understanding Big navi / RX66xx overclocking with PowerUPP on: December 15, 2021, 03:16:02 PM
The "Clock frequency" under DPM3 is Memory clock however, anything I add more than 950 mhz, GPU get throttled to 500 mhz.

Now need to know how to bypass that throttling .

Any idea ?
I don't know what ideas there might be.
If the video card does not have enough power or it overheats, then throttling starts.
Until the miners learn how to change the BIOS of this video card, then I think that nothing can be done.
AMD has tried to make the video card as good as possible for gamers.
3480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Malware WAR in Altcoin mining subforum on: December 15, 2021, 03:11:54 PM
I spent the last hour or so in the Altcoin Mining subforum reading new posts (procrastinating), and ran into  "LHR" malware posts.

In the span of about 1 hour I reported 28 cases (28 posts in the hour were LHR malware).

I never realized it was so bad!

During that time period there were just 4 VALID posts related to mining.

4 good, 28 malware.

They must be successful (making money) as it must take time to create these ID's

Question:  Is it worth reporting these to the moderator?
I constantly report fraudulent links to moderators and posts are quickly removed.
All newbies should know that there is no need to download miners from links from posts of ordinary users.
Every famous miner has its own theme and all the links you need can be found in the first post.
