3461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: April 06, 2020, 08:55:10 PM
Honestly when an offer is not really "too good to be true" but just makes sense, hell even tells you that there is a chance to lose money as well and so forth, you start to believe them. Think about it, someone comes up with an investment opportunity and tells you that you will make about 10% a year probably but there is a chance to make more but also a risk of losing money as well, that sounds quite reasonable to you doesn't it?

And explains to you that this investment is for a raw material production, there is this X material in every Y material and they will use this money to buy the necessary equipment and when they are ready to go they will be able to buy those Y items which are cheap and even can be found in garbage, and then use the equipment you helped bought to process the X material out of it and then sell that material and make money.

Now, can you tell me this doesn't sound realistic? But, dude could simply take the money and go, without doing any of this.
3462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 06, 2020, 07:07:45 PM
This has to be like number one thing that is available to every single trader, they should first check if they have double the amount of money saved somewhere aside before they can put in some money, if you want to deal with bitcoin trading and put in 1000 dollars into it, you first need to know if you have 2000 dollars saved aside that you haven't used in months, if you haven't used that 2000 dollars in months and haven't touched it at all, you can spend the extra 1000 dollars on bitcoin trading.

There was a dude who got a loan of 150k during 2017 peak because he didn't want to miss it, 150k, during 2017, that dude is still paying for that mistake. Obviously he was someone who made enough money to pay it all back even without selling anything since he was able to get that loan but that type of moves are definitely idiotic and should not be an option in your mind.
3463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING BOTS: WHERE AND HOW on: April 05, 2020, 09:13:06 PM
Do not forget that the reason why you are being so late could also very well be people putting orders before something happens as well. It could be thanks to a bot or it could be thanks to exchange being properly developed but whatever the reason is there are options to trade before something happens.

Most commonly known one is "stop loss" which makes people sell when the price falls under a certain level, when the price falls too much there are stop loss activated and those are sold as well, and when they are activated and there are some more sell, more and more stop loss activated and it basically rushes downwards. Same happens for every movement and every order, it is not all bots but there are people who put orders. Of course, bots are a thing as well, that is whole another point if you want to go deeper.
That is the tricky part about bots, you have to know trading before you can use a bot and that never changes. If you have zero idea about how to trade, there is no way you can make any money thanks to a bot neither. Traders usually use bots to actually save time but also be able to reach to places they normally can't because they are not fast enough, they know what they should do and they know how to make a profit but they use a bot to both be faster and also do what they would normally do while not in front of PC as well.

So, if you are a person who CAN make money trading, you will make money using a bot as well, if you are not a good trader then that means bots will not help you neither. That is just how all of the bots work so far, none helps a noob out with just one click.
3464  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 05, 2020, 07:21:34 PM
@FortuneJack  Today I receive an email from casino as they are giving me no deposit bonus of 5 mBTC is this correct mean is there any promotion around here or its just scam because sadly as I am trying to login in my account every time its showing invalid login message appearing please give update about this promotion thanks.
^ Thank you for knowing us here but I think that is a phishing scam attempt and probably your email address now is vulnerable to hackers.
Probably it is good if you show it here the message that you received and what looks like or something image of a screenshot.
Nevertheless, the comment above was right. Let us just wait for the official announcement of their support team if this legit or not.
The estimated loss of money from phishing attempts in 2018 (I know old data, but that's all I could find) was 1.1 billion dollars. Of course not all of it went to the same person but that is a huge sums of money that was stolen, 1.1 Billion dollars, with a B.

I suppose there is really not much you can do to stop them since it is not really possible to prevent it from at least being attempted, best you can do is try to educate people from not getting scammed that way, in order to stop this you need to make a counter marketing to humiliate the people who do phishing.

Everyone remembers Nigerian prince? Nigerian prince scam became such a funny thing that everyone mocks about it now, nobody can make money that way anymore, but look at ponzi, it was holywoodized so much that ponzi actually still gets some attention and people can scam that way. Make phishing look like nigerian prince, not ponzi and you will solve it.

We have to give the casinos a bit of understanding during this times of need because they must be trying to figure out a way to make everything work from remote. To be honest it is a great time to have an online casino because almost everyone could work from home and nobody has to go to work in an online casino business.

Just think this way, developer could work from home and be in contact with any other developer that might be working there, designer same, marketing same, ceo same, community managers same, basically everyone could be at home and nobody has to be anywhere.

The trouble is to actually make them all move to remote work at home and make it start there, after that initial stage it will get easier and easier. I am sure everything will go back to normal when dust settles.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: April 04, 2020, 08:11:20 PM
Not a chance that we all had the same idea at the start of the year. I understand that when it hit above 10k some people imagined with the halving and all price would go above 20k and I can understand that, it happens, for some reason everyone assumed mining halving equaled to price doubling, which is quite wrong but some people believed that and I get it.

However do not forget that we started the year at 7k, when the price was 9k or so during autumn so it is not really shocking that if you talked with someone on 1st of January and told them that price would be 6.4k or so during march, nobody would be surprised. Right now price is 6.4k if I told you tomorrow it will be 5.8k would you be shocked? I wouldn't be honestly. So, it is basically at the realistic levels for 2020 if you ask me.
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser add-ons are just not safe on: April 04, 2020, 07:18:26 PM
They are not safe in the sense that they are basically controlling all the wallets in their system, they do have security measures and they are trying best they can but they have been hacked many times before as well, for example mew has been hacked 2-3 times that I can just remember right now, they have been hacked a lot more than that usually as well.

It is obviously not ideal to give all the wallet rights to a third party, it would be regarded as a bad move in any other instance, however for the add-on wallets it is not seen as bad as it sounds. The only reason for something like that is the fact that some of them are just for the looks and not for the rights, you basically look at your coin in them but can't be touched or used by them at all, sort of like blockchain viewer.
3468  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Up to 30% Rakeback💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: April 04, 2020, 05:34:47 PM
It is a good feature obvioulsy. In the past, players used to use a bank account (secondary account) to separate their funds for some reasons. Now some gambling site use "Vault" to give players a better way to separate their funds without sending it to a bank account or withdraw it to their wallet.
I think it associates with taxes of gamblers, mainly associates with taxes, right? Some nations charge taxes on income from cryptocurrencies so the Vault will help them to stay away from problems with taxes, and tax reports annually if they don't withdraw from casinos.
The reasons why people try to bank their money with another account was because they do not want to gamble with all of their money but they also want to make sure they have a certain amount of money to gamble on that session.

For example, let's make the numbers up and say that there is this one dude who will play 100 dollars per day for 1 week, he deposits 700 dollars because he doesn't want to put in 100 dollars every day, there is no need for something like that. What can he do if he wins? Continue to gamble?

He said he will only wager 100 dollars per day, so even if he wins all of it or some of it, there will be some excess, he probably will not lose all of it, so lets assume he has 20 dollars extra, he puts it back to the vault. He does this for 7 days straight and maybe he could be higher than anticipated? That is how it would work with the vault.
3469  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: April 03, 2020, 05:42:25 PM
This is the right direction for marketing honestly, earnbet (or previously eosbet, they have been doing this for years) have been marketing the "look at how much dividends people are making" part of the casino for years now, this "look at how much gambler won!" type of marketing is much better, people at least could saw that and try to come and bet themselves and maybe win or even if they lose they will at least have dividends coming to them forever which could potentially make up the loss in the end if they wait long enough for it.

Dividends needs to be increased again and it is significantly lower than it used to be, only way to increase that would be to get gamblers on this website. Now that people can buy bet token, it is harder to find gamblers, you have to do marketing for that.
3470  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: April 03, 2020, 08:23:19 AM
It is very important to mark down the stupidity of people right now, all the people you see going around the world walking and even some people who are spitting to other people, they are all voting.

Yes, that is right democracy that you think so highly of, the rights of many, the electibility of anyone that wants, voting rights of every citizen, all comes down to this. All of those "civilized world" stuff people talk about when saying everyone should have equal votes, goes to show you that all of those anti-vax people, all of those walking around when prohibited, people who literally lick products and put back, votes. These are the people who decide on a president in every nation. This is not just stupidity this is willful ignorance and being evil with it.
3471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: April 03, 2020, 07:43:07 AM
We have some sort of bottleneck situation that can't be resolved until there are not many people who are willing to sell at the current price. We go up, it gets stuck at a resistance level, people start selling we go down, we go up it gets stuck in re... well you get it, there is really no way out of this until we get rid of all the sellers and unfortunately a lot of them are traders who sell at the top and buy at the bottom so they will never run out of money to sell.

I don't know what we can do, I don't know what the solution is, I just know about the problem and knowing the problem is one half of the deal but having a solution is much much more important. What do you guys think? How can we slow down the traders enough to go beyond $8k before they start selling again?
3472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gamification Works in the iGaming Industry? on: April 02, 2020, 07:56:21 PM
Gamification is something that is a broad term, there is levels for example in many casinos as a VIP, now in any sense of the word you can assume that us gamification but honestly is using "level" word enough for gaminification? You can say premium vip and it wouldn't sound like one, you can say diamond vip and wouldn't sound like one, but as soon as you say level 2 vip that sounds like gamification.

There are other stuff like that but I still think it is not really too much gamification around crypto casino world. In the outside world you can see websites that are doing this better, it allows you to earn experience points, allows you to get higher levels, allows you to spend the points you earn on stuff that will get you further as well, basically all around much better implementation.

@xvids
Is there any chances for reducing the weekly post requirement to 20 or lesser?

Any chance you can accept the requirements as is or don't apply? Hate to derail this thread but the manager/company set these requirements, if you folks don't like em then don't apply.
I am sorry; it is just a request after realizing weekly payments are in lower side in my opinion. I am sure in recent past, at least 2 or 3 campaigns have adjusted their payments or post requirements after its applicants suggested about it.

Veteran managers like you are always bringing attractive pay rates (or as per what is trend in most campaign) but new managers are usually coming up with what is favorable to owners hence I guess they might need this kind of suggestion. I respect all new and experienced managers and their rules and requirements; if I sounded I am not, I am sorry again and I am ready to remove my suggestion.

3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game Over? on: March 26, 2020, 07:00:09 PM
Bitcoin or crypto in general could never be game over. However there could be game over currencies when this kind of low happens.

What people do not realize that when a coin or a token or basically any project is already having a hard time trying to survive and when things are not going well for them, that means they might die because of this, they were already doing bad so when this happens they are just game over, when all else recovers they are considered dead and never recover.

So, game over does happen for some projects, I know not many, and I know most of them even deserves to end so I am not really to sad about it, but we also can't say that it is not game over for some of the projects, we can't just act like everything is fine. Sure it is for the top ones but the bottom ones are dying because of this.
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 26, 2020, 06:30:48 PM
Well, it all depends on the airdrop isn't it? Normally %99 of them are really bad, when you give people free money what they will do is sell it and take the money from it and move on, not many people see the free money distribution as something they should keep in case it goes higher, that is why it doesn't work out that well.

However, if you contribute something and you get some money from it and wait, there is a very very very tiny chance that it will go up in price and you may actually make a good amount of profit from it. Mostly it is not that important and not really going to go up all that much so we can say that it is usually a waste of time, if you act as if all of them are waste of time, there is a very minuscule chance that you would be wrong.
3478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: March 24, 2020, 06:29:01 PM
I guess it is a psychological thing. I have talked with a friend before about being addicted to fast food and I know fast food and gambling has absolutely no connection at all the addiction thing has something common between ALL addictions. People who have addictions, doesn't matter if it is eating, drugs, gambling or anything, they can't really give up because they have something in their psychology that they are trying to surpass usually.

It means they have some sort of emotional gap in their soul, in their mind or whatever you believe in and they are trying to fill that gap with something. That gap could be anything, a hurt from a lover, a financial dispute, feeling inadequate, basically ANYTHING, when a person feels vulnerable, even while not realizing it, they are more open to addiction.
3479  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: March 24, 2020, 05:39:30 PM
Hello! Is this just sport bets, or is there some other games on this project too?
Are you crazy? Cheesy Sportsbet has been the LAST thing they added, how the hell stake has known as "is this just a sportsbet or any other games", I mean haven't you even just clicked on the website, seriously its as easy as that, dude has a signature so maybe he is spamming I don't really know, I can't really imagine having stake, the most known casino in all of crypto that you can literally just click and go to website and see it could get a question like "is this just sportsbet".

I can't take this seriously, I can't respond to him like "yes there are other casino games bla bla bla" seriously, this dude could have literally just go to website and see it even if he didn't know about it so far. And I do not buy anyone who is interested in crypto gambling wouldn't know stake.
3480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: March 23, 2020, 07:59:12 PM
I prefer cryptocurrency with much lesser fees when sending a transaction and fast confirmations like ETH, TRX, XLM and similar cryptocurrency as long as the gambling platform supports those currencies I will use it. For the time being BTC blockchain is not that fast enough unless you modify the transaction fees and pay more fees than usual.
It is really bad for bitcoin when people are switching over to the cryptocurrency due to the reason of high transaction fee and long time required for confirmations. Because, I do study gambling industry is providing big volume in day-to-day transactions of bitcoins but bitcoin foundation must need to improve something other than what we had in segwit. I believed lightening network will provide some big changes but gambling houses are taking time to adopt it which gives room for gambling houses and gamblers to adopt some of the cryptocurrency.

I am still sticking with bitcoin based gambling for no big reasons. Recently I have deposited 0.05BTC into freebitcoin for gaining daily interest but that transaction took more than 2 days to get first confirmation even I had included more fee than what electrum suggested.
