No, my friend. It doesn't make any difference. There could be 21 or 11 or 31 million BTC, and nothing would change. What matters is that the supply is limited, and that we know what the limit is. Besides that, total amount of BTC in circulation is irrelevant. It is relevant from psychological point of view. As people are highly illogical creatures. Amount of bitcoin flowing through system can influence its price greatly as people will perceive in the future that every bitcoin was mined and its supply indeed limited. I would assume a huge price rise near the end of mining bitcoin. |

But what will the value of gold be in 20 years? Gold existed since the dawn of the man. I wouldn't worry of its cost in 20, 50 or even 500 years. Bitcoin from the other hand is around only for couple a years, and if something goes really wrong can disappear even faster. |

Yeah im rocking .06 in the central US. Electricity prices in USA can differ greatly from place to place. I used to have map of US with electricity costs marked. And I can tell you that you do not need to invest in Venezuela if your electricity can be so cheap as in some places in the usa. |

So you are just talking about 'hosting' You basically own physical miners equipment and send it to your specified "mining location". These kind of dealings were very popular not so long time ago mainly in 2014. It was golden era of 'mining hosting' back then. But since 'cloud mining' was invented it is not so popular anymore. So you may want to find good cloud mining company instead. |

You realize that wikipedia is mainly a geek/nerd thing. Normal people do not care about Wikipedia donation at all. As far as can tell Microsoft is already accepting bitcoin and price is not that high. So I am not sure anymore. A big company like dell , amazon.com , ebay.com is start accepting bitcoins in the site gyft if ebay also accepts the price i high now you can see its up from 260$ to 300$ now I do not think that is due to Dell acceptance that bitcoin price went up. It is overall market tendency that caused it. Amazon and ebay still do not accept bitcoin at all... |

I wouldn't be so sure I see that barrier of $285 is too much for now. Bitcoin is way under $300 threshold since couple months now. Some really optimistic news are needed to bring back trust in bitcoin.

I think the most important thing it will focus upon, must be adoption.
As more and more good news start coming in, we will surely be up >$800 at least in the mentioned time.
We may hit 300$ before the end of the week and we should trade at much higher rates before the north atmosphere summer comes around. Firstly I do not thing that adoption will rise bitcoin price that much. Secondly you think that with the end of winter price will rise... I like that idea, but it may be completely wrong, as I see charts are just dropping just now... |

Info in opening post is misleading a bit, as I understood the full documentary movie about Silkroad is available now, and it is only a teaser for now, short trailer. Nonetheless it is a good premise and I would gladly watch it now. And I love how it is not about selling drugs and rather to make political statement. I hope full movie will be available on youtube soon.
