3461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: March 07, 2020, 01:52:09 PM
I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day
These are some weirdass crypto exchange. Like "SystemKoin" exchange? Lol, what kind of an exchange name is this? Never heard of any of these exchanges. Sorry to hear that you had bad experience using those exchanges. This wouldn't have happened if you tried to find reviews for those exchanges. I am pretty much sure people have encountered those exchanges and already reported them at least on this forum. I myself would have thought twice before trying out an exchange named "Latoken".
3462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: March 07, 2020, 01:45:48 PM
Today, i was discussing with my friend about bitcoin, and we argued that the world is trying to make bitcoin look like a currency, replacing fiat majorly and used as payment everywhere.

I want to ask a question, if there is a Bitcoin ATM card, and you want to use it to pay bills such as an hotel booking, will the payment reflect instantly while the atm machine or Miners still has to process the transaction?

Also, let’s say in the aspect of payment for services, would you have to wait for minutes? Or hours if there are large transactions to be processed, we are talking of when adoption eventually takes place in the world.
Remember what happened to binance yesterday when India lifted the ban on cryptocurrency, even binance exchange had to do a quick maintenance.

For me, i do not think bitcoin can replace fiat totally, because when their are larger transactions to be processed, it takes hours or even a day, except you have to pay Higher fees to process your transaction.

I will love several suggestions below, to further enlighten and brighten my knowledge.
True, bitcoin won't be able to completely replace fiat currency. People who think that bitcoin will soon take over the fiat currency system, are just day dreaming. The sad truth is, there are a lot of flaws in the current cryptocurrency system, mainly in bitcoin to be used a regular fiat currency. Like you said, the transaction confirmation time is one of the biggest problem. If one will have to wait more than 10 minutes while making purchases for their transactions to confirm, then its going to be really annoying. Unless some sort of plausible solution is found, it can not replace the fiat money completely. Though I do believe that bitcoin and fiat currency will be used side by side in harmony.
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Legal in South Korea! on: March 07, 2020, 01:39:52 PM
China will accecpt bitcoin soon, because they are launching their own crypto currency because without accepting the wold's biggest crypto currency they will not make strong thier own crypto currency , if they will not accept bitcoin then world's will not accecpt the chinese currency so they have to admit forcefully .
Hard to understand what you are saying but I guess you are trying to say that the Chinese government must make bitcoin legal in order to make their own crypto currency. They will need to accept bitcoin so that the world accepts their own crypto currency. Lol. No. This won't happen. The coins they will make are going to be heavily regulated. Those government based crypto currency are just going to be like the traditional currency, but they can be used online. The crypto currencies they make will be easily traceable by the government. There won't be any financial freedom or privacy if people uses such coins. People would just ditch the government made coin, but alas, the government will force it upon them.
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for bounty payments on: March 07, 2020, 01:20:26 PM
Bounty hunters have been facing bounty related payment issues since day 1. Bounty hunters have been scammed so many times that this board have been filled with threads asking for a solution to this problem. I was just thinking about what could be the solution for the payments of bounty hunters that would be feasible for both the project team as well as the bounty hunters and an idea struck my mind. It goes like

We all know that every project has a % of amount that is allocated to bounty programs and campaigns.
What most projects do is raise the funds and then distribute the tokens at the end and this is where the scammers take advantage of this method.
A possible solution could be that the project team raise funds and distribute the % of money raised on weekly basis for that particular week and that too in BTC/ETH/ProjectTokens.

For example:
My project has 5% of money raised allocated towards bounties and campaigns. Assuming the bounties and fund raising starts on the same date,
after a week is completed the project team can distribute 5% of the funds raised in that week to the bounty participants in bitcoin or ethereum or dual (tokens+ BTC/ETH).
Similarly they can proceed with the same process the consecutive weeks until the fund raising is complete. Hence only 5% will be distributed every week for that week alone.

This way the project will still be distributing only 5% of the total fund raised but would have distributed it on weekly basis.
Since the project team will be collecting BTC/ETH from the investors they shouldn't have any problem in distributing what they promised to the bounty participants and the bounty hunters will be more than happy to receive BTC/ETH as a payment and that too on a weekly basis rather than have to wait until the end of fund raising.

Let the comments drop below!
Doubt they would do that. People would be really disappointed with the payment they will be receiving weekly. What if the project raised  only few dollars at the first week. That 5% of the few dollars would be split among hundreds of bounty hunter as a payment. That is, everyone will receive just dust payments that won't even cover any transaction fee and we will be seeing more people crying more in this forum. Again, I doubt the developer team would like to make payments using BTC/ETH. They will want to be using their own tokens.
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 06, 2020, 09:37:40 PM
It's no more news that many of us would have had some horrible experiences participating in some resources wasting projects. However, my opinion is that, do bounty managers just accept hook line and sinker to manage bounty campaigns for any project without taking some time to look at the prospects of such project?

I think there should be some experienced members of this forum apart from moderators (because moderators' works might be too enormous) that should be in charge of reviewing projects before bounty managers are allowed to create bounty and/or announcement threads for such projects.  If this can be done effectively, I think the advent of these unworthy projects can be mitigated.

To wrap it up, a bounty manager once told me when I called his attention to some unrealistic plans of the project he was managing, he said he is not concerned about the success of the project, once he gets his weekly payment from the team. I want to know if there are some levels of punishment for bounty managers that manage unworthy projects apart from negative trust?
Like the person you contacted said, as long as they get paid properly, they wouldn't care much if the project is legit or not, or if it is going to scam its participants and investors or not. Sadly, they managers getaway with this crime.
What makes you think that the "experienced members" won't make a wrong call? What makes you think those members won't go rouge or corrupt?
Stop depending on people to help you find out a scam or not. Do it yourself. Trust your intuition.
3466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 06, 2020, 08:55:31 PM
Which is Best Trading or Freelancing?

The truth is that that you cannot make good money with freelancing, the only thing where you can make money is trading but for trading you would need a good revenue and expertise in trading otherwise you will just loose because the good exchanges has high trading fee and it is difficult that you could generate profit.

I found there that many youtube channels are promoting freelancing but they are just misleading you. Freelancing has no more scope. Do not waste your time by learning anything related to freelancing. Instead learn something about trading.
These are completely two different things you are talking about over here. Trading involves risks. You will be risking your capital/financial aspects. Trading requires some sort of financial capital that you can invest before you can start trading. On the other hand, there are no risks involved in freelancing. You will not have to invest any money for freelancing. You will just need skill which can again be developed overtime without spending a single penny.
Not sure why you are saying that there are no more scope of making money with freelancing.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: March 06, 2020, 08:48:41 PM
i am level 4-6 because i am allocating part of my monthly wage to gamble, but only maximum of 10% and nothing will excess.
in past yeah  i can risk all of my Money but now that i am a family Man?No way that i will let them starve just because of my vices, and also i even stopped drinking liquor to prove this claim.
Lol. You are level 4-6 and you allocate 10% of the earnings for gambling. Trust me, if this continues, you will slowly be allocating 20%, 25%, 30% and so on. You will eventually become a gambling addict that will ruin your life. You are saying that you are "family man" now and you won't let your kids starve ever in your life, so you won't risk much gambling. But, snap back to reality. You will be using this "excuse" of not letting your family starve to gamble.
Stop before its too late. If you managed to stop drinking, you will manage to stop gambling for good.
3468  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 06, 2020, 08:43:51 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.
Who told you that people are too scared to hold money because of corona virus? Like how do people even come up with these? I know what you mean over here, but still. If a place is affected by the virus, the person will have to take certain precaution no matter what. One of them is to make sure the person doesn't touch their face, eyes, nose or mouth without washing their hands properly. The virus can't just fly and enter your system. So, if you take money from someone, you won't magically get infected with corona virus unless you don't wash you hands and start eating.
3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 06, 2020, 08:39:22 PM
Of course the people won't be willing to elect a person who is known as a "gambler". They can't trust him in any way. All they are going to be thinking about is the funds they will be giving. If the person is a gambler, there is a high chance that he might gamble with the funds and peoples money. So, if that person truly wants to be elected, then yeah, he will want to stop gambling (even if the person is honest to the core) since his reputation will be at stake and might lose the election.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 06, 2020, 08:32:26 PM
These won't help to stop them, this will help to catch them. If they get caught, they are going to come back as a different person with a different project, but this time more stronger. They just spread like plague and can be found here and there like mushrooms.
Unfortunately, the points you gave are not enough to judge if they are a scammer or not. All those points you mentioned can be covered up quite easily by the scammer. The best way to know if they are scammer or not is by just following your own intuition.
3471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 06, 2020, 08:28:27 PM
I see many people still optimist in crypto but others deny the optimist and make me think. We know crypto is alternative and we need to grow and find what next after it because crypto is not safe, law nature also says everything has beginning always has ending. Many country try release their own coin and connect with global issue also become indicator crypto can fall deeper than before. See 2020 as good moment to find alternative out side crypto and forex is the closer and realistic answer. Now my positive thinking about crypto start collapse, do I need leave now or stay with crypto until replacement?
You words are kind of confusing? Did you mean wait for a better coin that can replace other coin? Or a whole new replacement of the crypto currency system? In both case, stay. Don't leave. Play with the coins you have now and keep holding them. There are no guarantee that a new better coin will pop up. Also, stop thinking about the replacement of crypto currencies. You are just overthinking which might end up harming you. What if you sold out everything and left the crypto market thinking a new system is going to pop up but it was never invented. How would you feel then?
3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoronaCoin profiting off death and Infection? on: March 06, 2020, 08:17:57 PM
The CoronaCoin is a coin developed by a group of 4Chan ( ‘surprise surprise’) activists and developers. While they are adamant that the purpose of the coin is to help raise awareness and funds for the RedCross, there is something distinctly unethical about profiting off the death of others.

Here is why the intention behind CoronaCoin seems a bit sketchy: https://4king.com/whats-up-with-the-coronacoin/?preview=true&_thumbnail_id=27123

Do you think they are profiting off death and infection or actually trying to help?

Another shit coin that is going to die as soon as the corona outbreak is taken care of by the world. Do you really expect this kind of shit coins to exist in the market forever? All they are trying to do is take the advantage of this virus and make as much profit they can. The coin will die eventually soon (along with the virus) and become worthless. What else can you expect from a group of 4chan developer? Stay away from the coin like you would stay away from someone infected (didn't mean to offensive over here).
3473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 Chinese charged with laundering money from exchange hack on: March 06, 2020, 08:13:04 PM
Its really good to hear that the law enforcement agency are making such arrests. All those hackers thought they could easily steal those money and launder it with easy using crypto currencies and prepaid cards, but they were wrong. At least this is going to cause fear on other hackers too. Quite hard to track those hackers, but yeah, they did get caught. They probably made some mistakes and left out traces which eventually lead the police to them. Good job.
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 05, 2020, 10:13:57 PM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote
The duration does matter. Bounty programs may promise rewards, but might end up not paying the participants and go scam. We have heard around hundreds of such project where the bounty hunters were not paid a single coin despite of them working hard. Most of the time, the project itself turns out to be a scam. Now imagine you have been working as a bounty hunter for a project for more than 10 weeks, but then the developer decided not to pay the hunters or you have been kicked off without you not even know? How would it feel to waste your precious time for nothing?
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: March 05, 2020, 09:19:46 PM
That coin is really scarce for which the price of "42 coin" is really high (around 20k according to your charts). But this doesn't mean that the 42 coin is better or can take over bitcoin. The price doesn't really matter in this case. Look at the market capitalization. Bitcoin easily beats the market capitalization of "42 coins" and the latter coin is far away from the top. Compare the trade volumes too, you will see that bitcoin is one of the most traded crypto currency, where as 42 coins are rarely traded thus showing us that the demand for bitcoin is higher than 42 coin.
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 05, 2020, 08:51:16 PM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
I don't know why people keep on waiting for this altcoin "season". I mean like what is the hell is that? Does it even exist? We have seen few altcoins sometimes growing while the price of bitcoin was struggling or just remained the same. This is nothing impossible over here. But, mostly we have seen the price of altcoin following that of bitcoin. Though you will sometimes see some altcoins skyrocketing like crazy. Keep in your mind that those are mostly some shitcoins that are getting pumped by the developers themselves and will eventually get dumped. Most of them ends up dying really soon.
3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: March 05, 2020, 08:45:02 PM
By casino gambling, you mean playing on real life physical casinos right? Well, it depends from person to person on where they would like to gamble. Most of the points you stated are true, so are your pros and cons. When someone wants to gamble with privacy, that is wants to keep themselves totally private, then they can choose to gamble online with crypto currencies. Again when someone wants to socialize and have fun with friends, then they can choose to gamble on physical casinos. Though, most of the online casino does have options to socialize with other gamblers. But, yeah, they both give different kind of experience.
3478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think, India lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies will impact BTC Price? on: March 05, 2020, 07:57:42 PM
Depends on how much popular and demanding bitcoin is going to be in India. As far as I can see, it won't be causing much of an impact on the price of bitcoin. Remember, crypto currencies are global currency. Just a single country itself can't bring huge changes to the price of crypto currency. Even if they can, it is going to be a very short lived change. Again, even if the price of bitcoin starts to change due to trading being legal in India, it is just going to be because of a "hype" that will be created (which I also doubt is going to happen).
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 04, 2020, 10:52:37 PM
Have you known that there is an age restriction in gambling? But it is varied among the countries in the world. I have just checked in wikipedia that commonly someone can play gambling starting from the age of 15/16/18/19/20/21 years. It depends on where he lives, every country may have different regulation related to the age restriction. Below I classify some countries based on the age restriction:

Age 5: Malawi (Casino)

-snip-

Source & more detail information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_age#cite_note-27
Lol, are you sure its age 5? Probably the place where you found the statistics had a typo or something. Why would it be legal for a 5 years old to play at a casino? I mean would they even know what gambling is in the first place? That is really weird.
15 years and above seems to be a reasonable age to set. During this time, they at least learn to take their own decision and starts to understand the "financial" aspects of the life/world.
3480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 10:14:59 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
Not really. If the team is working really hard on the project, then their community will really appreciate them. They won't hate the team. The dedication by the developer team will instead cause the price of the tokens to increase.
Most of the people hate the projects and calls them a scam because the developers really stop working at their project at all. They don't give any effort for the further development. Most of them are "all talk" for which people start to hate them even more.
