3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 02, 2022, 06:40:03 PM
Almost impossible, but not impossible at all, we still having some casinos like Just-Dice who allows multi accounts, bots, and they never ask for KYC. If you use the alts or the bots to try to damage the site, they only ban your account, but even banned accounts are allowed to withdraw. I would say is the last one of that freedom casinos types.

Freebitco.in, which started as a faucet and today is more of a casino/betting house, also does not require KYC. Apart from those, there are a couple of others that can be seen in Mahdirakib's thread, the rest require KYC above certain amounts above all. So if you want to gamble without KYC, as long as it is not a huge amount, you still can. I hope this space of freedom is maintained as I haven't passed KYC yet for any cryptocurrency casino and I hope I don't have to.
I agree with @Don Pedro Dinero, who said that Freebitco.in is a casino. Although they don't have too many gambling games, but it is enough for gamblers to bet and is KYC free. And so far, with its reputation, Freebitco.in has become one of the casino sites recommended by many people. The site still provides rewards in the form of faucets for people who want to play gambling directly and the interesting part is that on the site, you can also invest in FUN tokens and get reward points or WoF. But for other casino sites, there may be times when you have to KYC because that's the rule.
And even though they don't require KYC, multi accounts are still hunted and banned by the platform. It means a casino doesn't need KYC feature to fight bots and multi accounts. There are efficient methods of doing this without being intrusive on someone's privacy. So it's not accurate when people say KYC is needed as security measure for the website.

However, we don't know how long freebitcoin will be still able to operate without KYC rule. Regulators are enforcing the siege over crypto services like never before and at some point soon freebitcoin may be left without any alternatives besides finally introducing the feature to the platform.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 02, 2022, 05:57:21 PM
Without any doubts delays on withdrawals are the most annoying situation you can face at an online casino, especially if there is the option to pay a more expensive fee to have your transaction completed faster and even by paying this, you don't see your transaction executed soon.

Besides this point, hidden or catchy terms and conditions for promotions and bonus are also annoying and disappointing. You complete all the requirements full of expectations to receive your prize and it simply doesn't happen, so you discover it hasn't because you didn't pay attention to a micro detail on the terms of the platform.
3463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do think that POGO should be declared as legal or Illegal ? on: November 02, 2022, 04:30:18 PM
I think it is unfair to the legal companies that they have to compete with illegal brands. If they offer the same services and dispute the same public, all of them should follow the same regulations, otherwise, what incentive companies will have to follow the rules and pay taxes to the government?

In my opinion every businesses should be allowed by the government to start unregulated until they become profitable and solid. Only then they should start following the local requirements. Anyway, inevitably it would happen at some point, being impossible to stay informal forever.
3464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 04:07:38 PM
Lottery has the advantage of being cheap to participate and rewarding huge amounts of money which can be a decisive life changer in the winner's life, although winning chances are pretty low. However, it is also possible to bet in partnership with other gamblers in order to increase the winning probability.

Lottery is one of the least harmful categories of gambling, because participants tend to not lose much money on this, since tickets are cheap and you have to wait few days to have the results of the respective draw, until you can start betting on the next one.

Sports betting is the currently hype among gamblers, especially youngsters and it's considered the best category for betting, since you can analyze teams, players, game conditions and so on... But undoubtedly there are many gamblers losing considerable sums of money on this category as well.
3465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are five things you will do if you win huge amount of money?? on: November 01, 2022, 11:59:26 PM
1. To purchase a vast and rich in natural resources piece of land.

2. To buy a modern and confortable car.

3. To travel to another regions in my country and to another countries in the world in order to know the local cultures, nature and people.

4. To give part of the prize to my family, so they can use it as they wish and for what they desire.

5. To invest the rest for future plans, although it is not advised to hold money for too long.
3466  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 01, 2022, 10:06:11 PM
I prefer career jobs or salary base jobs, as mentioned. This kind of job brings stability to the employee and his family. There are many potential benefits and increasements on his wage as he rises in career, while keeping the same workload.
But this type of job is able to kill the creativity of any person and make him hostage to certain circumstances, including government jobs, which are the most guarantee of providing a stable income.
Freelance professions may be more tiring, but they are more productive and therefore more profitable. As for investment, it may be more profitable and does not cost much effort, but it is less productive and does not provide direct benefits to society and the market.
Well, workload varies a lot. There are governmental jobs with 4 or 5 hours workload from monday to friday. It is possible for those employees to have a fixed job at the governmental sector and an extra job as freelancer, so they can continue exercising their creativity anyway. In some cases, just a secondary hobby activity is enough to balance the monotony and annoyance of a public job and achieving welfare in life.
3467  Economy / Economics / Re: friend I want to invest short term in bitcoin and crypto. to meet their living a on: November 01, 2022, 07:04:57 PM
The only way to invest on short run for daily gains in order to meet with daily appointments and expenses is to invest a large sum of money in bitcoin and deposit it in a lending/investment platform for passive income which can be paid in a daily basis or every month or few months, depending the modality of investment of your preference.

However, it is not possible to rely on daily trading for a living, because it is like gambling, since the market is highly unpredictable on short run. A short sequence of bad moves can lead a trader to severe losses in few days, so just trade with money you can afford to lose. Never use money you will need later for your basic needs.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question concerning Crypto.com and CRO on: November 01, 2022, 04:38:31 PM
CRO is just a shitcoin created by Crypto.com and this exchanges is centralized. VVS Finance is a fake decentralized project, although it's decentralized finance, but it doesn't have relation with decentralization.
Not an empty shitcoin, though. You need to stake CRO in order to acquire different tiers of debit crypto cards which guarantee you cashback on purchases made with the card.

I think it is one of the best altcoins around due to the features it proportionates customers. If it wasn't for crypto.com's debit card I would be in a complicated situation when transacting, swaping, exchanging crypto and using it as money. Even though the chain and the service is 100% centralized, it is still worthful and helpful.
3469  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 01, 2022, 03:49:43 PM
I prefer career jobs or salary base jobs, as mentioned. This kind of job brings stability to the employee and his family. There are many potential benefits and increasements on his wage as he rises in career, while keeping the same workload.

On the other hand, if you want to earn more from comission jobs, you have to work more, you have to invest more time without the guarantee you are really going to earn more after all. There are less guarantees and benefits for this kind of employee. Social skills are also a must and not everyone is able to communicate to the public in a clear, charismatic and captivating way.

But since opportunities are scarce for all nowadays, we can't choose with what we want to work. Any opportunities available (since they are legit) must be taken in consideration even if it is not the job of your dreams.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGECOIN AND ITS EFFECT ON SOCIAL MEDIA on: November 01, 2022, 03:31:20 PM
Why will he do such a thing? I doubt Elon despite how unpredictable he is will ever request payment from Twitter users. this platform has been free for everyone right from the start, so why would he want to change that so suddenly?
Maybe he can create a means where dogecoin will be used in the platform but definitely not charging fees for account verification, that will be so centralized method.
He is going to charge 20$ monthly from users who want a verified seal (blue seal) near their names. For common users nothing is going to change, though. That idea is being discussed and even if they set a price inferior to 20$, people will have to pay anyway, or lose their badges.

The doubt is if users will be able to pay the membership with cryptocurrencies or only fiat.
3471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is losing bitcoin in account have a significant impact to the bitcoin economy? on: October 31, 2022, 11:49:25 PM
The more bitcoins are lost, the more valuable, scarce and rare bitcoin becomes. It's really unfortunate for those who lost access to their holdings, I feel sorry for them and wouldn't like to see anyone on the same situation, but I can't deny it impacts bitcoin price positively as more adopters start investing. It works like an extra boost for bitcoin price during bullish seasons and even during the bearish ones, as it also helps keeping bitcoin at support level price ranges.
3472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear And Bull Market? on: October 31, 2022, 07:02:34 PM
A safe strategy to make profit with cryptocurrency is to always think on long term, preparing yourself during one season to make profit only on the next one. That is, to acquire most coins as possible during the bear market (since currencies are cheaper), so you hold them and sell for profit once the bull market begins. You just have to be patient and the more money you have to invest the better, because it can take up to few years until you can conclude this strategy for financial gains, so the profit must make it worth the time you had to wait.
3473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - How high can it go? on: October 31, 2022, 06:57:31 PM
Bitcoin has already reached 69,000$ once, so we can expect a new ATH must guarantee us bitcoin near 100,000$ at least. However, until it happens, we can't say anything else regards bitcoin price, otherwise we would be skipping an essential stage on the progression of bitcoin. It is like desiring to know what happens on the middle of a game's storyline without playing the previous levels which lead you there.

What I keep in mind is that bitcoin is pretty likely to hit more expensive price levels yet, so it is a good investment for now and for the future, although I can't say exactly how further it is going to reach yet.
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to say? on: October 31, 2022, 05:02:46 PM
So is it safe to say that all this billionaires in the society controls the crypto market, because why's it that whenever they tweet about a project or just say a random words, the project start to pump?.

What's your opinion guys?

It sounds like you are referring to Elon as he is the only billionaire using twitter to manipulate the market. I don't know how many other billionaires are in the crypto space but no one can control crypto. Elon doesn't control crypto, he just uses his own tweet to manipulate a coin and here dogecoin. It only takes place in a short time, but cannot control the market completely.
We don't know how many billionaires are in crypto market, but there could be many of them investing anonymously or through their partners. Since they have money to spare, it is pretty possible they create fake hype by heavily investing in random altcoins, so other investors follow the trend pumping the altcoins' prices even more. After a while, initial investors who created the hype sell their holdings, recover the investment, make profit, while late investors are caught by surprise by a dump and lose money. That is how the ponzi scheme works in crypto market, possibly boosted by billionaires or whales.
3475  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: October 30, 2022, 07:35:14 PM
Actually, in this case I probably won't look too far from the word home because apart from this it can be used as a business area but we must narrow our way of thinking first, if indeed we don't have the capital to make a house a business land, at least we must still have a house so that we can still take refuge and stay.

There is no need to insist on investing in a house because this is a primary need in my opinion and we need a place to take shelter and of course the house is one of the best places. If indeed we are able to make this a business then it is good but when indeed we still can't and are very lacking in terms of capital then still making this a primary need is enough.
Yes, a house, apartment or piece of land are a guarantee in life you have where to settle yourself despite the financial difficulties you may face during harsh times.

Imagine how frustrating it is for those who don't have a house, so they become homeless, live at hostels or have to share a room at friends or relatives' places. Privacy is a key factor in life which contributes for our self-esteem, and in order to achieve that a self owned place is a must as basic need.

However, to have more than one house for investment purposes must be very well thought if it really worth or not depending your local area, economy, criminality rates, supply and demand, maintenance costs, taxes...
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency replace other currencies? on: October 30, 2022, 05:51:33 PM
Cryptocurrencies are here to stay, that is an undeniable truth. But are they going to replace other currencies such as Fiat currencies as we know it?

Well, the reality is that cryptocurrencies as Satoshi envisioned are in a dying process. The total regulation over the Ethereum network and its change to a POS network that turned into a completely centralized network is clear proof of it. Now, once CBDCs come in, we may be seeing state digital currencies taking over while a total ban on unregulated cryptos is lifted...
The come in of CBDCs represent the takeover of cryptocurrency over fiat currencies, at least in technological terms, because nothing will change regards centralization since it remains the same even when dealing with cryptocurrency.

Crypto as it started with bitcoin, decentralized, won't replace centralized currencies, but it can remain as a side currency we have the possibility to use simultaneously while trying to avoid regulators' intervention with mechanisms we have at our disposal on the internet which can take us closest as possible to anonymity.
3477  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: October 30, 2022, 04:46:36 PM
Scammers and exchanges faking volume can be already spotted and caught with the currently tools and mechanisms regulators have at this point.

The problem is that the law forces act too slow, therefore more regulations wouldn't solve the main issue. It would only make things worse, with common investors being prejudiced by bureaucratic demands and even impediments, like we see at the traditional financial markets, while the big wealthy investors are the only ones capable of participating investments' activities.

Unfortunatelly I guess more regulations, censorship and limitations for us are inevitable in some years. We have no resources to fight against it.
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Growing Money is Knowledge on: October 30, 2022, 04:14:20 PM
Instead of growing money, grow patrimony, because money loses value within time. Some people worry too much about saving money and accumulating maximum as possible during decades of their lives, so after all those years they finally decide to do something with the money. However, they don't open their eyes to the fact there is a constant devaluation impacting the savings each new day. If they used this money for investments instead of saving, after decades financial results would be much more impressive and rewarding.
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: October 30, 2022, 03:54:04 PM
^

In addition to online gambling, there are a huge number of illegal casinos that are hidden from the gawkers and you can get there only by invitation. In my opinion eradicating gambling is the same as eradicating arms and drug trafficking. And we all know that not a single state has been able to do this so far. So if a person wants to gamble he can, in any case, find somewhere to do it. It all depends on the desire.
Yes, a gambling ban means nothing on the practice. There is always going to be a gambling alternative on every territories of the world, doesn't matter how restrictive the local laws are. Before the internet it was harder to find such alternatives, because clandestine houses were one of the few alternatives, although a group of friends could manage to bet among themselves without any issues too.

But now there aren't excuses. Anyone can have access to the internet and sign up at an online casino to start playing. Countries which insist in forbidding gambling are simply losing income to other countries which could be being received by themselves, if they allowed gambling by the rules.
3480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY FIRST BITCOIN PURCHASE. on: October 29, 2022, 04:33:34 PM
It is still not too late to start investing in bitcoin. I believe you made it in time for future profits that must come in the following years. Bitcoin is cheap right now and the more you are able to acquire and hold, the better for yourself once the market's tendency is reverted. I hope you can inspire many others through your story to make their first bitcoin purchases as well, so bitcoin community can become larger and bitcoin can become widely spread among more investors' hands, truly decentralizing the supply of coins.
