3461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: November 25, 2020, 10:19:06 AM
if that is what you say so. isnt mining a co tinius earnjng than investing to altcoin which you have to wait to profit. the bullrun isn't going to make altcoins shoot up over night. you will still have to spend every day too.

i hope you have sort other source of income other than mining. because holding altciins will take months to wait substantial profit.
3462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your experience trading cryptos vs trading Stocks/Forex on: November 24, 2020, 08:36:08 PM
1. yes its easy to create a trading account and most of the broker do offer a demo account unlike in crypto. software will be installed too.
2. manipulations still exist there especially on penny stocks. stocks can be manipulated too by sudden news and does apply as well on forex as far as i know when there is war for example, pandemic or massive importation of goods and etc.
3. its forex that you can easily make money but this is if you learn well with strategies USD/EUR is the usual pair just as we do like BTC/USDT.
and there are more strategies shared by traders than on crypto. i find it odd to have debts when it comes to margin trading in crypto while not on forex actually. in crypto, your debts' interest keeps rising.
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Emotional after seeing this Rally on: November 24, 2020, 08:19:45 PM

i'm still not getting back what i could have had since 2017 so i'm not yet happy with this $19k as i don't have much btc. Smiley

the altcoins i was holding isn't yet soaring high that if the price will go beyond $100, i may be able to get rid of this bag off my back. ETH still not reaching $1200 is too hard to watch while BTC is already up there.

3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 08:06:38 PM

stellar and XRP seem the logical tokens to buy while they are up to run up wildly these days, i hope this will not end bad though. the last price i remember for XLM was $0.08 and not its $0.19, its a damn profit already if i just got in at the right price.

having $2k to invest, i would certainly be looking to the most cheap like TRX, NEM or ADA. this is going to be for a long term that i may sell on mid 2021.
3465  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of crypto exchanges on: November 23, 2020, 11:36:30 AM

it could be the case as its whats going on. tron bought polo. binance buying other projects and even CMC. there was an article from cointelegraph that paypal is going to buy bitgo. this isn't confirm base on that article but paypal may really be considering this option if they want to be in the game.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin very Big problem on: November 23, 2020, 11:08:09 AM

its not going to be a big problem, it happened many times where two projects have same Ticker. but this will be solve by its logos. investors of crypto i think are also going to have to be smart to identify which project exactly they are going to invest in.

the fake project is the most common problem and newbies are often the gullible that will be their victim. for investors i guess its time to start being smart.
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about IEO in altcoin season? on: November 23, 2020, 10:51:23 AM

a team can still do an IEO as long the IEO platform allows them.

the diffirence of doing it today is that the bullrun that is going on today isn't fueled with ICO or crowdfunding. this because of the institutional investors proving BTC is worth keeping. big investors are accumulating BTC.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 06:23:57 PM
In 2017 when bullrun took over crypto space and many altcoins joined later some people still keep holding thinking that their altcoins will keep surging and surging, little did they know that bull season always have short life span when comparing to bear season, bear season can stay for years but bull season is just in months, so why are you holding when you should be selling?

Remember that some bought bitcoin at 20k and they have no choice but to hold till today, imagine all this year's waiting just to get back to where you once are. Bitcoin is over 18k now, good for them cos they are near recovery since 2017.

Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.
As far as I can see, continuing to hold is also a wise decision.  Bitcoin halving is an advantage for the upcoming bull run, but what's even more special is that there are a lot of major tech financial funds already involved in holding Bitcoin.  They certainly saw the potential future of Bitcoin so they bought and held it all at once.  It is possible that this year or the Q1 of next year, the price of Bitcoin will break ATH $ 20k and grow to $ 30k.  Meanwhile, those who hold $ 20k also have 50% profit. Wink

what is best to do is just sell the BTC while the price is still good and wait til it price hits the bottom. you just got to be in the forum to ask people of the speculations, most of the users will always give their opinions as to what could happen prices. timing though can be hard to do but as long as you profited and buy back at the right price, youre good. to me as long as i profit its fine.
3469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH ideal transaction fee using MEW? on: November 21, 2020, 04:03:57 AM

I never got this warning, I also always used the gas recommendation given by MEW and managed to send a token, usually a warning like that happens if the gas limit is too small, maybe you can add another gas limit, or maybe at that time Mew was experience an error

that's what i did actually. its their recommendation but the result is still out of gas error.  i have to set at least $3 for like 5100 GWEI same as the price for uniswap transaction from USDT to ETH.

a friend says to avoid this situation is to not make transaction while eth's price if rallying. there will be changes to its price and what could be the fast transaction right that very moment might not be the fastest in the next second. all in all i paid at least 8USD to finally make it. this is nothing like the previous ETH, ETH2.0 failed.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH ideal transaction fee using MEW? on: November 20, 2020, 06:27:50 PM
Code:
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]

i tried sending about $50 to someone using the browser extension of MEW on firefox. i pick the fast transaction that the MEW set for users and the gas is about $1.10, but why do i get the error " Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas] "?

i tried slow, average and fast all transactions didn't went thru so i want to use the advance option, how much should the ideal fee to put for transaction to go?
3471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: November 20, 2020, 05:19:01 PM

great promotion by the way. since its working other forums might just follow what you did here.

altcoinsTalks is getting popular. there are many active users somehow, cryptocurrency will be populated with lots of people and I guess different forums as well will be populated by different people who wants to communicate with people of same interest. i will create an account there, it doesn't need to have same email address right?

3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fastest blockchain? on: November 20, 2020, 03:46:56 PM
Well, based on my experienced Nem, TRX, EOS, and Ethereum are all good and fast to me.
These all are good to use when you want to make a transaction with them, and in terms of fees they are all
cheap also, so you won't regret it for sure in the end.

ETH actually isn't fast, you'd have to pick whether you want it faster or not. the option to pick how much you wanna spend for a transaction means by default its slow and that they only prioritize transaction when you pay higher for the transaction. i prefer EOS really, its the same thing after all I play games on EOS chain from casino to real online game.

fast transaction is important for different purposes, TRX and EOS simply delivers it well and same with some other blockchain like the Vechain.
3473  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 19, 2020, 05:18:02 PM

the goverments have plan to create their own cryptocurrenicies, so the btc and eth was just testing currencies to see how it works and get people to use with cryptocurrenies?
I don't think government will and want to go the Cryptocurrency way, there are other huge side of economical effects when a country currency is pegged to cryptocurrency.
How do you think the relationship between volatility and economical growth will react, it will be a suicide which will be even centralized by big players and politicians. Let's assume your country releases a coin prototype for example of 31 million and governments decide to withhold 70%, how will you feel?
Have you thought about change of regime? This are my reasons and opinion.

Quote
first whats wrong with fiat currency?
There are so many thing wrong with fiat currency, for example : devaluation of value, Price Instability and concentration of wealth to certain groups of powerful people. This is pure wickedness which is heartedly entertained by average people in the real world.
In cryptocurrency, this has birth to DeFi and its really working except for some little difficulties.

we have not seen what is wrong with digital currency yet which is what OP could be saying. the government wants control and this digital currency will help the government making our transactions more transparent for the authorities to monitor. they may send Interpol right to your doorstep when they see you spend suddenly large sums to buy a car.

whats wrong with fiat/cash? well they can't be traced and online transactions can't be transparent with it. made the think CBDC is a solution.
3474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another mistake in Bitcoin fees? on: November 18, 2020, 11:38:26 PM

i don't think it will be returned. even solo miner will not return it. not even a pool.

they wasted energy to keep mining transactions, they continue to do so when BTC price submerge that they hardly can't pay bills. this is just one instance that miners will have to breath good air that they at least get an amount they like. feel sorry for whoever made that mistake though.
3475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 09:57:27 PM
they can talk whatever they want. BTC is a threat to all government they would face BTC whether they like it or not. they'd have to regulate the market if its possible. its going to be a battle and just like China did, there may also bank accounts that will be frozen. preying over other country though is just not acceptable. the people are good but their government is like owning other countries.
3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Miners Struggle to Pay Power Bills, Regulators Clamp Down on OTC Desks on: November 18, 2020, 09:27:53 PM

BTC price had already moon but they can't pay the bills, that's odd. its not like they have no people in US where to send their BTC and exchange their coins and send it back. they can pay their bills but the frozen bank accounts are their problem.  they do have law there so its just that its making them difficult. its the law. they can't get around to it when they need to exchange their money to fiat to pay bills.

3477  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do I need to be in favor of the company I am advertising? on: November 17, 2020, 06:42:55 PM
For example, if I wear a signature of a gambling house, do I need to talk in terms of supporting them while I compose posts?

How about campaign managers' and campaign owners' stand on this?

normally users don't do this, they just need you to post on gambling subforum.

but yes you are hired to shill.  Lips sealed i have seen users doing it to the point of creating threads about it. its not against the rules of the campaigns.
while the campaign manager nor the casino didn't tell you to talk about them in the post you are to make, they surely want someone who will do that. but you doing it will be like kissing asses.

3478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 17, 2020, 06:07:14 PM

what comes up must come down. eventually the market will be overbought and the bear market again. i wouldn't want to be holding anything before the massive dump. the problem is that its hard to identify when its going to happen because if you get greedy you will just keep riding the pump not minding an exit strategy.

there are different speculations so if the price really will go up to $300K, you might just sell yours when the bullrun still isn't over. it could go $500k. burn.
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 16, 2020, 05:54:18 PM

they know ETH will be a success because they are the first smartcontract platform as far as i know. but this project was full of fud too, it was a struggle before it emerges. ICO today is very much abused by developers. they even show real faces, get known locally but still scam investors, no one bother to sue them that is why the scammers spawn boldly. you dont even have to dox because their profile is public.

if they are to start again, yes people will still invest which is why scammers offer the same thing over and over.
3480  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Avoid Bittrex! on: November 14, 2020, 05:17:59 PM

send them your data.  that's the only way you can get back that 0.5BTC you have there. you login there to see if its there because you needed it. you wouldn't be going back to bittrex if you didn't need that 0.5btc.

what is the difference anyway, you submitted to Chinese exchanges like Binance but you don't submit to bittrex?
i have submitted data to bittrex. probably the reason why is kept using them still.
