A few tips that I can give.
1. Gamble with the money that you can afford to lose
2. Don't get yourself addicted to it
3. Don't chase your losses
And in the end, just have some fun and enjoy whatever games you play, and don't think that you can always win.

Woodley might be tough, but this is a different ball game for him. But for sure this will be a good fight for Woodley as he will be given a chance to make money again and exposed Paul if he ever pulls an upset in this fight.
Agree. The odds make sense. Odds providers really see it that way. Upset has a chance to happen but that was touch to expect. Gamblers might take a risk though if they think a lopsided result will happen. Woodley knows that he's behind so he will make sure he will try to stand close, by any chance, against Jake Paul. After all, he's the one to called out Paul to arrange the fight between them. We don't know what Woodley is thinking, but in any case maybe he thinks he has a chance as Jake Paul and there are a lot of YT videos of him showing his training so he must be confident that he can beat Jake Paul at his game. And that odds is very attractive for an underdog, for sure there will be gamblers willing to take that big risk for Woodley to win. I'm not that excited for this fight though, but I wanted the underdog to win.

Only one reason I believe in, and that's the bitcoin price will continue to go up in the future and I don't want to be missing out on the possibility that bitcoin is going to be at that point and I don't get any profit from it. Pretty simple reason for hodling.
Exactly, as bitcoin become one of the best speculative asset and it is so scarce that holding will be the best thing to do to get huge profits in the future. Of course there will be a point wherein we need to cash out and make profits from our holding. But it requires a deal of mental toughness to hold for at least a year. I've learn to hold because of the pandemic though, but from time to time, I sell some for cash but I still continue to accumulate. Simply reason but very effective.

I think if they will choose they should go for IT. They badly need a shooter and IT could provide. I just don't know if James will like the idea because he didn't look pleased with him when they signed him at Cavs to play with him. The chemistry is not there and it's so bad they are like two players playing in different teams. Let Beverley stay with the Wolves, they need a veteran there to help KAT and DLo.
Isaiah Thomas is just a literal backup now. Not a shooter or playmaker anymore. His skill and talent before are now gone even during back when he is on Cleveland Cavaliers. Pat Beverly is much good but I don't think he and Lebron will make chemistry. This guy is like Dennis Schroder. I'm wondering why are the Lakers only limiting their options to these 2 players? They can offer a trade for someone else or try to get a good player in the free agency right? One reason I can think of is that they can offer IT a one year veteran salary just like what they offered to others. If IT bite then it's good for the Lakers are they can work it out within their budget. And there's not much left players to trade, they have overhauled their roster already. Yeah, I agree that he is no longer the same IT when he was traded to Cleveland because of so many injuries. But the guy can score easily every game and can give quality minutes while in the floor, if some of the Lakers stars are resting.

^^ Correct Carreno Busta is the top c seed in this tournament. I picked up another winner , Monteiro beat Nava (never heard of Nava before).
Tiafoe beat Andy Murray yesterday. He wont be happy with that early departure, I would say he was looking to carry some form into the U.S Open.
There are a few other interesting matches on today but I cant get onto Sportsbet to check out the odds ATM
Paire v Ruusuvuori Struff v Ivashka Carreno Busta v Koepfer Evans v Gasquet
Evans vs Gasquet sounds interesting, I might go over in this match. Struff vs Ivashka - I think Struff will win here, he has been playing tremendous tennis lately. Paire vs Ruusuvuori - First time to hear Ruusuvuori's name, I have to dig his records to see if he has a chance against Paire. But I wouldn't be surprise if Paire will easily win in 2 sets a well. Carreno Busta vs Koepfer - Tough match for Busta, but being the top seed, for sure he has this one in the bag but I'm seeing another 3 setter for him.

Canelo Alvarez vs caleb plant are both good fighters but this fight can be very tough for alvarez canelo is strong and big and he has world class skills.
For real though, who is going to have a tough time? Mind your grammar next time or structure so no one gets confused. For me, Canelo will be the favorite in this match since he's a much better fighter than Caleb but that doesn't mean that Caleb doesn't have a chance, he's a champion too after all but he has to put extra work if he wants to win against Canelo. Yes, Canelo will be the favourite in this fight, remember that Canelo broke Billy Joe Saunders orbital bone in their fight. So you can see how powerful Canelo is, to be able to hurt someone with that uppercut. He also took Callum Smith's 0 and then KO one of the best LHW in Kovalev 2 years ago. So he is on a path to destroy everyone in his way. So I'm predicting that Canelo will win against Plant, maybe another KO victory for him if Plant is not careful.

I am thinking that if the bitcoin continue to go up to $100,000 and above. it will be expensive for the poor people to invest. It will be for only rich people. It will be better for bitcoin will not go so much high so that it will be affordable to everybody to invest and have profit.
I will like to read and learn for everyone here.
That's wrong mindset to begin with, if that is yours then you wouldn't earn any satoshi because the price keeps going up. And remember that's what others have said in 2017, it's too expensive when it hit $5k, but look at the price right now. Or even when the pandemic strikes, it's about $3k and people are saying that they can't afford it. You can just small portions and then continue to accumulate whenever you can. No need to immediately buy 1 BTC.

Every new team adjustment/roster is an experiment. But I think this Lakers team is kinda over stacked, and there might be some conflicts on playing style with these veteran superstars. It's all up to them on how the players is going to adjust with the Lakers and LeBron system. I hope Melo and Ariza will fit with the current Laker roster. In the case of the Lakers, it's not an experiment. There is no room for experiments as these veterans are already used to that. They will know how to adjust and form chemistry at the Lakers. These players know each other very well already. Melo and Ariza are no way to play with a mindset that they will carry the team. They will surely follow what Lebron or Russ plays. If these veterans are new players then I can call it an experiment but it's not. There will be no conflicts too. Russ already said that he will allow Lebron to be the playmaker. Experiments is a sense that this is the first time that this players are going to play together, Lebron, WB and Melo. So technically, they will need to feel each other but being a veteran, it will help a lot and loosen this experiment in the early stages. And they know their places, Lebron being the franchise, WB and Melo and AD as support to form one of the biggest team that we have seen in recent memories.

I cant see the Chicago Womens Open on Sportsbet, there must be about 10 or 20 other tournaments listed though, strange.
I'm keeping a watch on whats happening in Winston-Salem, the only bet I have on today is Carreno Busta to win against Kwon.
I thought a lot of the top players would be there but it turns out not to be. The ones playing are all of similar capabilities and the odds are very even.
Yeah, but a lot of familiar names in this tournament, browsing sportsbet right now and there are a lot of games to put a bet. Maybe it's time to do multi-betting? Lol. In any case, I like the Busta vs Kwon match, sure fire with here I would say for Busta. Paire vs Simon Giles might be a close one though, so I won't bet on that match.

WTF? What actually happened? How did Yordenis Ugás won the fight? This is like the worst thing that can ever happen to Manny Pacquiao. If he had lost to Spence, then it was still OK. But a loss to Ugas? It is really difficult to digest the outcome of this match. I understand that Manny, at 42 years was well past his prime. But we have seen other boxers like Mayweather giving very good performances even in their 40s. Anyway, I am glad about one thing. This time the jury didn't made any mistake. Their scorecard (115-113, 116-112, 116-112) matched with those from third parties like CBS Sports.
You shouldn't be dramatizing, it was a good fight with a decent ending, without a knockout and total superiority of one boxer. This is clearly not the worst thing that could happen to Pacquiao, now he may well end his career on a high note and everyone will remember him as a great boxer who performed with dignity in every match. We have seen worst of Pacquiao, getting knock out by Marquez, a decision lost to Bradley, (which is the worst for me), and then the Horn robbery. Yes, I know that it is hard to digest the Ugas lost as Manny is the favorite, but that is sports, so it's really an upset but we have to take it and accept. Just sad that this will be his last fight, however, let's just remember him for the fights that he gave to us in the last 15-20 years. I will not agree that it was Manny Pacquiao worst fight. I don't think so. However there are some interesting stories being developed recently. Have you came across this news where Pacquiao to consult with eye specialist. I mean why would he need to go for an eye specialist although he did had a hit over his left eye and that were stitched too afterwards. Media creating drama ? I did not say that it was Manny's worst fight, I said we have seen worst. I will assume that it was customary that after a fight, boxers need to go to doctors to assess their overall health. And we have seen Manny fight through the years, so it's better to have his eye check to detect any issues as early as possible as everyone said, he is not getting any younger and the wear and tear might show after this fight. So for me its not media creating drama, or probably it is, for click-bait.

I'm not familiar with Quant, but let me tell you that if at the end of the year bitcoin will have a super fast and huge bull run, it will trickle down to alts as well. So who knows, maybe Quant can benefit from the last quarter bull run and we might see it at least having a good price, but not necessarily a new all time high.
Or if the project is really solid, then investors are willing to pour their money on it, just saying.

I absolutely thought bitcoin will reach 50k by this week.
I previously say that it will be at the end of the month. But hey, we have hit it the first day of this week so no complains whatsoever. Bitcoin is currently on an upward trajectory and I think we’re going to see BTC reach new all time heights in the coming months. The reality is bitcoin is an amazing technology and we are seeing more acceptance and adoption of the technology by large corporations and governments that will further drive the price up.
Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if we surpassed the old ATH of $64k and then goes at least $70k-$80k at the end of the month. Mostly holders by now are very happy to see their portfolio increasing again because of the upward trajectory that we are seeing.

Very difficult to walk away, however, I do always question myself when gambling, and most of the time it's effective to me and I simply just walk away because I already have made a good profit, regardless.
I don't want to put myself in the position to lose my winning and then my capital. I'm not really sure if this made sense to others because usually our decision is clouded. But questioning myself most of the time are very effective to grasp what is going on.
|
|
|
So do you feel right now you become a bit wiser playing gambling games? Or are you still the same as the first time? Do you still feel hard to manage your time and money? Let's share and discuss I'm not sure if I consider myself wiser, but as far s budget goes, I already have set limits and if I lose my capital then that's it. I no longer deposit additional money to recoup my losses. Not unlike before wherein I was out of control. This also holds true when I'm playing on a traditional casino, if like I end up winning some, then I immediately go home and enjoy my winnings. No need to stay for hours and eventually losing everything in the end because of the house edge.

Currently at $48,850, but I've seen it going above in the $49,200 price and I thought that we are going to break it today. Unfortunately, it dip a little, but nothing to worry about it, cashing out at $49k++ is good strategy for some speculators, that's already a sure fire profit already.
So I expect that next week and up to Aug 31, we might see it exceeding $50k, and now entering the last quarter with a fresh and bullish sentiments, nothing can go wrong, and maybe we will hit another all time high.

At full strength, nobody can beat us. I'm just going to leave it at that. ^ James harden on what his expectation for next season. He may sound arrogant to others with that statement but he's got a good point. What's more important is they can definitely back it up. The problem though is the probability of having a full strength team the entire season is slim. I would still take them over a 100% Bucks. I agree with them being healthy, the Nets will definitely be a sure fire top seed in the East. They've showed that they can blend already, during the regular season and in the playoffs. It's that the injury are going to kill their chances if just one of the big 3 gets injured along the way. The same way with the Lakers, Lebron and AD are not 100% in the playoffs, imagine if they are in full strength against the Suns in the first round, the outcome might be different. So let's hope that the coming season, Nets will be healthy so that it will be a good battle for the number 1 spot in the East. And let's see how instrumental Harden will be.

Bitcoin price is back in an uptrend. I predict the price of Bitcoin will still trend up in the coming period. I predict Bitcoin price will move towards $100,000 by the end of the year. With the current conditions, the Bitcoin price target is more likely to happen at the end of the year.
Yes, bitcoin now is back on the right track as we have seen that the price can reach $47,000 and maybe this week, the bitcoin price will still increase and back to $50,000. But there is no guarantee for bitcoin price to still increase as bitcoin price can go to any price. But hopefully, the bitcoin price can hit $100,000 and if that happens, we will see the price can make two ATH in the same year. Bitcoin price has a big chance to increase more than the last ATH this year and next year, so we need to prepare our bitcoin and set a target price to sell. I'm not sure if this week, it can reach $50k, but definitely, this month we could achieved that round numbers. And if we do, we will see another set of FOMO to come along with that. Usually this round numbers are what we need to break and sustain. And obviously, to continue and march to $60k, and maybe a new all time high before the end of this year or early 2022. And who knows, that $100k is within range.

For the same altcoin, some people make huge profits while some make a loss. So can you share your profitability skills? Or some reminder to avoid losses?
Don't be greedy. If you are already on the green, they it's better to cash out and get your profits already. And then re-invest again, rinse and repeat. The problem is that there are newbies investors to think that the price will go on parabolic rise and hoping that the price will continue to grow. And then suddenly it went down, then you will have to regret your decision. It's not that bad to take profits from time to time, basing on my experience.

Anybody talking about how Cade Cunningham the NBA’s #1 draft pick is getting paid his signing bonus 100% in Bitcoin through a partnership with BlockFi? That’s nuts… I can’t believe that this sort of thing is becoming normalized in professional sports. I hope he makes a ton of cash and becomes a major ally in crypto. Certainly others will be following in his footsteps.
This is truly incredible. A few years ago we used to talk about whether such news about bitcoin could be true. We are living it now. It's nice to see things like getting a salary, making contracts, paying with bitcoin. With this deal, he will have earned much more money than many players in the NBA They'll earn big money if bitcoin will pump and they will cash out, however, I think they will not go all in, just like a typical investor, learning how to manage the risk is very important and we can't considering holding bitcoin as a way of saving money, if I'm a player, I would go for 70/30, 70% fiat and 30% in bitcoin considered for long term hold. I think young NBA players are wise now, as to compare to like 5-10 years ago wherein rookie or even experience NBA players lost their money because they don't know how and where to invest their millions when they are beginning their career. So perhaps they have now investment advisor to help them out specially with regards to holding bitcoin and the risk involved. No news yet on Ben Simmons isn't it?
