3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will gambling signature promoters still get the same rate on: July 24, 2020, 09:57:04 PM
The trend has slowly changed, before the payment is just per sats or all btc, but now most campaigns payment are already pegged with the USD valued, they may or may not adjust it, that's according to their own discretion, there's only one campaign that are consistent with their rate regardless if the value of bitcoin will rise, and that is chipmixer.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 24, 2020, 02:28:24 PM
Sportsbet.io like to share those "small bet into big ones", they just shared one recently with a guy who bet on 10 outcomes including the Arsenal win over Manchester City if I am not mistaken it was 3000x. They give something like 15% or 30% boost to many multis, so I guess people really love it. Nice to bet $1 and get that much!

The boost was really very attractive, that's why I like their site and sometimes I also do some parlay on live betting and it adds up the excitement.
I even go beyond 3000 total odds on my parlay, but I never got too lucky, maybe my time will come and the winner you shared was very lucky, I'm sure he was already betting parlays before and his time has just come.
3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum (ETH) Price on Course to $300 on: July 24, 2020, 01:58:00 PM
$300 is not too far away from the current price of ETH now which already rise to $274 (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/markets/)
As we noticed, ETH rise but bitcoin rises too, so I like to believe that this is due to the rise of bitcoin where altcoins just follow.

I would be surprise if ETH will reach $300 but bitcoin will drop below $9k or will stay at least at $9k as that means altcoins is gaining investors.
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sudden Ethereum PUMP!! What is the reason? on: July 24, 2020, 01:34:12 PM
I think I will wait until ETH will hit $300 then I will get in.
Bitcoin dominance is still at 60%, that's still too high, meaning, altcoins hasn't penetrate yet.
If we are looking for an altcoins season, then probably bitcoin should drop its dominant rate just like in the past.

I am thinking of the launch of the ETH 2.0 that's why the market for altcoins now is quite bullish, but it's not confirm yet, so let's be careful.
Just in now, or wait, it's up to us to decide, but make sure we analyze it on our own well.
3465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freelancer get payed by Bitcoin? on: July 24, 2020, 12:48:59 PM
If you have skills like doing signature campaign, or handling campaign management, then just post on Services there are lots of people looking dor this skill. There are many already but you can always start and gained trusted clients later on.

OP is a newbie, he can't even join a signature campaign and managing a campaign requires experience and reputation, so that job does not fit on him.
he is looking for something similar on his post, and I think google would be the most useful platform to look into.

I'm not so familiar with the freelancing site online but you might want to check this one. https://www.webemployed.com/freelance-websites-pay-bitcoin/

This is a popular platform - https://www.upwork.com/.. I'm not sure if they are into crypto now.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 24, 2020, 12:32:13 PM
I dont know what you think guys but i think airdrop and bounty kill the project let say after the project finish the ico all the bounty and airdrop hnter sell their coin/token , this make te price go low.Since all of bounty and airdrp hunter did not care about the project.

No, I'd disagree. Bounties and airdrops should be quite a small share of the overall distribution. Bounty/airdrop sellers can only crash the price if no-one else is trading, which suggests that the coin has a more fundamental problem. I think a bigger contributor is some of the big bonuses on offer to early buyers. These are essentially free coins, and can dwarf the amount paid as bounty or airdrop.

Bounty is actually small, some projects will give 1% of the total supply for bounty, but the problem is when there is no liquidity, that 1% will dump the market as basically bounty hunters are not investors, they work to earn so they will dump the moment they receive the reward.

It's expected, and I know the team knows that, but they just disregard it, they allow the project to have a bad start as it dump, and then later they will just leave the project, it looks like a basic style of scammers.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? on: July 24, 2020, 08:40:04 AM
My reason for a public post, instead of messaging Sportsbet directly is because I want clarity on a public forum. This way, for the future, when sportsbet make decisions to their users and using VPNs / multiple accounts as leverage then it will be clear from this thread on their stance.

I encourage sportsbet.io to clarify this for us. Thanks
I advise you to raise this question to the main thread of Sportsbet.io. Steve can give you an accurate answer as he's the active staff of Sportsbet.io on the forum.

Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day!

In his post.
I encourage sportsbet.io to clarify this for us. Thanks

Hopefully he is reading the thread he made so he would just post in the ANN thread. Maybe he already know the answer and just asking seeking some opinion based on our experience if we have already used a VPN to access the site, especially from ban countries though our IP.
3468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: July 24, 2020, 08:21:25 AM
Bitcoin and Crypto related sportsbetting sites not giving any odds for these games and fiat sportsbetting sites offering all markets for these matches hopefully we will have these on bitcoin related sites in next few days if they able to provide any markets.

It's not at the moment, I've been searching from popular sportsbook here but unfortunately, I haven't found even one site.
The best thing we can do now is just to keep ourselves busy and wait for the regular season to resume, surely the odds will be available.

Meanwhile, we are going to witness games again tomorrow, no odds listed at the moment but that's okay as we can't bet on it anyway.

3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? on: July 23, 2020, 11:32:19 PM
If you don't mind to get blocked, continue to use any gambling platform with the stated conditions.

I think no gamblers would want this, especially those who are betting a decent amount, a blocked account simply means a loss money, yet, you loss without betting it, that's too risky and I would not even try this. I don't know, but I think there are gambling sites that could cater us even if we are block at sportsbet, so why not look instead for other sites as an alternative than trying to cheap the system and face this kind of risk.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 23, 2020, 11:17:34 PM
It's a good thing that few bounty managers are now limiting participants for bounties but another problem I'm bounty projects are dumps, one way that bounty managers can help to avoid dump is three phase distribution, many would probably hate this but c'mon we all want good $$$ from projects we promoted right? Controlling dump this way works, what do you think? I've seen bubbalex doing this and even COVIR that plan to use bitforex to raise funds plan to distribute tokens in three phases
I think dump is still base on the quality of the project if the project has a promising future investors will be eager to buy more than to sell more
Exactly, but sometimes you can't see the quality of the project in the early stage, actually people are more attached with their emotion so when there is a hype or FUD, they act very fast without analyzing carefully before making a decision.
3471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 23, 2020, 10:53:48 PM
Since gambling is an activity that attracts a lot of lower income individuals, I would be curious to see how the industry will perform in the future.

They will continue to grow, Las Vegas as one of the biggest earners in the world of gambling is not attractive for lower income individuals as it's an expensive casino, a classy one where you have to spend, maybe what you are referring is the lottery owned by the government, there, betting a penny is possible, but not in vegas.
3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: July 23, 2020, 01:18:41 PM
That's a wrong perception, it's tantamount to saying, advertising kill a project.

In reality, it's really the team who are at fault, first they don't launch the project at the right timing, and maybe 2nd  is they give promise too much to the investors like the short term return which would only make it more unrealistic.

Regardless of how good the project now, I think they could still struggle as the investment interest has gone down due to the pandemic, and before the pandemic, the market was still not stable, so that's really a hindrance for the success of altcoins.
3473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 23, 2020, 12:47:40 PM
I don't think so, all of that is just a speculation that would never happen.
There are only two group of people in crypto, the bitcoin believer and the non believer, if you are on the side of the believer, you would continue to follow bitcoin, it's news and its trend, and based on the trend, bitcoin is still very dominant until now.

yes, we've seen some drop of dominant rate, but hey, let's wake up if we are sleeping, 61.5% dominant rate is still very high, it's clearly dominating the market. Take a look here (https://coinmarketcap.com/)

3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: July 23, 2020, 10:42:16 AM
It looks like PundiX is in danger with this, hopefully they won't be delisted.
If the volume goes below the required 24 hour minimum volume required by Binance, They will delist it as they did with other trading pairs.
This is the current state of the remaining trading pairs.

I agree with your fear because I have seen binance many times delisted a coin because the coin had lesser volume than their criteria but I just saw the stats of NPXS and it's nice to see that volume is slowly going up. So i guess for now we are safe

Currently with over $2 million trading volume - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundi-x/
Hopefully they will be able to keep that volume, this token might be delisted easily as they don't pay for the listing, they won a community coin of the month.
3476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 22, 2020, 10:12:15 PM
I already wrote above that in Russia, the vaccine has been tested on volunteers and is now being prepared for mass production.

I also read the news about this, and hopefully it'll be a success so all this struggle we are experiencing now will be over soon.
The production of vaccine will help Russia to be free from virus, but if you know the song "FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE", I'm sure others neighboring countries will also benefit or the world will.
3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 22, 2020, 09:47:02 PM
It looks like the Minnesota Timberwolves has been made available for sale by their owner Glen Taylor. There have been rumors that there is a chance that the team might relocate to Seattle if some suitors will be interested buying it but the current owner of the Timberwolves had made it clear that his only condition was to make the Timberwolves stay at Minnesota so the only clear options named right now is either the Wilf brothers or their former player, Kevin Garnett. The former one might be the likely candidate for the takeover as they are also the owners of the Minnesota Vikings which might make Taylor be confident that the team will really stay in the state.

Though the owner has this plan selling his franchise the good thing is he still  wanted to make sure that the team will stay at Minnesota,

This will be interesting if KG will buy it, He start his career there and even there's a gap between him and Glen Taylor  if he pursue

acquiring this team maybe there's changes for the future of this team, Let's see how things will turned regarding to this news.

The timing is bad, was it because of the pandemic, even an NBA team struggle so they are selling the team. I read somewhere that an average cost of a team in the NBA was around $4 billion USD, I think Kevin net worth is not that big, unless they'll buy it as a corporation or with other investors.
3478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 21, 2020, 11:14:17 PM

This could be a possible last fight between the two great fighters, so I expect they will reach a good amount of PPV, I don't want to talk about the figures here but I am pretty sure both will get a good payday especially to Wilder if he decides to retire after this fight if he will fail to redeem himself.
This is a over kill of the series as i was satisfied with two fights and everyone is convinced who the better boxer is and we do not necessarily want to see the trilogy and i doubt whether we will see more PPV sales than the second fight.

I don't think so, the first match was a draw(on paper), the 2nd fight Wilder loss, he had his first loss, so he deserve a rematch, this should be the last if he loss again and he deserve to make a good payday for the last time.  Grin

per contract also, there's a rematch clause, so Wilder can always demand, don't worry it won't take long when the fight happen, we will stop seeing Wilder in big fights, he might think of retirement after this.
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 21, 2020, 10:20:03 PM
I looked at my sportsbook but there's no betting line and the certain game are not displayed, instead I see this in the in play betting.

Anyone has an idea how this game is done?
That's only played on console by some NBA virtual players I guess and they are not the real thing as to the actual sport. I am waiting too for the reopening to bet on a sportbook, basically I only bet on basketball not that fond of other events.

But you can put a bet on this one, right? That screenshot is from my sportsbet.io account, that's the sportsbook I am using right now, I am just curious as I have no idea about the game, and I also don't want to put my bet until I am educated with that kind of game.

Of course you can bet on that one, that's where i bet on basketball lately Smiley. Just don't dive on the bet button directly, observe the pattern of the games, scores per quarter, for example and you will get some idea on where to bet. For me, it's better than the actual NBA games lol, profitable for me so far.
Exactly, I'd rather bet on the actual physical sport compare to this one because you can easily observe especially on the pattern of scoring. Though you can also study this one but I think it's solely on the gamer not the team composed on it.

You don't have to bet on that guys as the betting odds is already available, it was shared in

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091185.msg54841630#msg54841630

check that out, and start capping games early. First game, Lakers vs Clippers. probably a good match to start the reopening, but if they are not playing in a full squad, it might not be as entertaining as we are expecting, so let's hope all will play and will play at their best.
3480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu on: July 20, 2020, 12:51:04 PM
Tszyu should study the tape (i think they will) and find the weakness of Jeff Horn.

I'm 200% sure that Tim with his father had already studied everything about his opponent and Tim's father already pointed all the weak points of Horn. All what time is need to do is to stick to game plan. But still, I think this fight gonna be in favour of Horn, as he is more experienced and like it is already mentioned, he fought against more elite boxers than Tim.

That's you opinion but the betting odds said it favors the young Tim Tszyu.
Well, good luck to you, if you consider betting, go with Horn now as he is still an underdog, I'm just looking on what site would provide the odds of this fight.
