3461  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 23, 2020, 10:21:49 AM
Vaccine preparation is supposed to follow certain rules and regulations. When a vaccine is developed, it'll be tested for the results as well for its side harms. This is why vaccine development is time consuming. I don't know how long this gonna take place, but in my country we're into the third phase of clinical trials.
And therefore that will take time to develop as the WHO will certainly check on that first and knowing how corrupt the world is, big Pharma might just hiding the vaccine and sell it when the time that they think the total infections are already worst. For now, people are not anymore talking of the vaccine as they have been waiting for so long and it seems our economy as slowly picked up as we got used to the current situation which we call "the new normal".
3462  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin Signature is back on: October 23, 2020, 09:26:15 AM
Looks live the Livecoin campaign has been either paused or halted, because all the people I tagged are wearing different signatures.

I removed all my tags, and I encourage anyone else who left any to do the same.

Maybe we should also notify the signature campaign overview thread that nobody is wearing the Livecoin signature anymore.  Livecoin did not make any update on their thread, the last edit was made on October 1 making it CFNP.

They have no option but to remove the signature, otherwise that tag will remain and they can't find a signature campaign anymore to join once the Livecoin campaign is over.  I guess we will not see them try again, unless they'll settle their scam accusation.
3463  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 22, 2020, 01:11:33 PM
If the Virus will truly not enough until 2024, there is nothing we can do about it but to wait and lets make ourselves safe from the virus.
I think you are trying to say virus vaccine,  Grin... I'm already enough with the virus, we don't need more anymore.
Definitely we have to make ourselves safe as until now there's still no vaccine about the virus, all we heard are just rumors or speculations, nothing is real.

I'm just hoping though that the virus that they will create will not be added by some other shit stuffs on it and its just the vaccine itself.
So you are trying to say a virus kills the virus? I was not following this thread a lot, enlighten me please.
3464  Other / Meta / Re: Voting for important forum changes on: October 22, 2020, 11:56:05 AM
A ban/unban poll can be easily manipulated as people have a lot of alts here and to win poll people may even create another business around it.
There will be a lot of politics if we do this by voting, in a country there are regulators like the police, and mods here has that job, they can ban members whom they believe have violated the forum rules. Maybe voting in other matters, not on this particular thing.
3465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 22, 2020, 09:55:17 AM
At some point I think the NBA was rigged before not quite sure when was that but if you are referring to current playoffs we can how really both Heat and Lakers do their best in games we can see also how Butler works and we can see how LeBron and his teammates do the same thing to win. I really don't think it is rigged
Heat did everything but I think ref somehow help them to win games, if there's a good call, Lakers could finish the heat in 4, we've seen it but sometimes best players are going to be out of rhythm if the calls are all against them, just like what Davis experience, he also had some off games in the series.
3466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 22, 2020, 09:07:10 AM
Some seemed to forget how good the Warriors is as a team.

They have 5 trips in the NBA finals, won 3 of them, it's a championship team, even Durant leave, the core is still there, they will remain a championship team as long as Curry, Thompson, and Green are in the team.

here, worth a read.

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/2021-nba-finals-six-reasons-why-warriors-will-play-title

Thank you Botnake for the link.
That is really worth the read.

A young team surrounded by champions. What will be expecting? A lot.  Wink
Looking forward to Wiggins putting a big exclamation point next season. I am hoping he can learn more from the core trio of GSW.
Although they are young, they are veterans in some terms like playoffs and Finals experience.

Wiggins needs to give everything he have and I hope he will be inspired playing in a championship team.
First they have D Angelo, it was a failed experiment, now they go Wiggins which I believe better in all aspects as he is also good in defense.

Curry and Thompson will always be the best players in the team, but they should be supported with the young players.

They had their rest, time to wake up the monster.
I'm expecting that as the NBA returns.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: October 21, 2020, 11:01:41 PM
So there's another controversy,

https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/kubrat-pulev-in-hot-water-over-racist-comment/161425

Quote
“He has a very powerful punch, undeniably,” Pulev said at the press conference, before adding, when asked what other strengths Joshua has, this clanger: “What are his other strengths? His tan is better than mine.”

Majority branded this as racist remarks from Pulev, and with the the social movement we have right now, I'm pretty sure he irked some sports personalities again. Joshua hasn't comment though, but in any case, Joshua here should get the job done.

Or maybe Pulev is just trying to sell the fights.

You have answered it correctly, knowing the personality of Pulev, you know what he can do, so Joshua here should not be distracted and just focus on the training so in fight night, he can show his best and teach the old Pulev a lesson that could probably make him decide to retire.
3468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 21, 2020, 10:34:04 PM
Interesting.
Is that (the bolded) just an observation or it certainly happens? Will be disappointed if it does happen in major football/soccer leagues.

Sure, it happens in major football leagues a lot. It's more like match fixing problem rather than ratings though. We know certified cases in Italian league etc., big clubs got relegated after that scandal was exposed.
I don't think NBA has that kind of problem because it's bigger platform and different challenge but I believe that happens occasionally and it's almost impossible to prove.
It is a big shame for the NBA if does it happens. I can't tell or to believe that it actually exists in basketball, a sort of manipulation, well, it talks differently when it comes to money and how the business moving on but doubtedly it happens.

For a game that has been set-up already, will it sees to be boring. I'm not sure how both teams dramatically performing the game until the end which very unlikley to see when both teams wanted to gain winnings and championship. So for now, I'm holding the trust that NBA haven't rigged.
We do have the rights and decisions on our own on what to believe and whats not but how can you explain about this game wayback in 2002 WCF?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITDJBr-iN1I

Try to watch the video of said finals and decide and see it for yourself if this is something normal that you do normally we believe?
Rigged games do exist as long theres money do circulate then these events are pretty norm.

Look at Divac's face here, he was laughing like he really know something was going on, players know as they are in the game and sometimes we see them complain while some just let the game flow as they know they would still not win and they might just threw out of the game.
3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Cornhole on sportbooks on: October 21, 2020, 09:57:05 PM
You were the one asking but you made me curious about this game as honestly I don't know that this game exist and don't know if sportsbooks are offering this one. It tells me that everyone have different type of games, people usually look for NBA, NFL, MBL, Soccer Football and other popular sports, but this one just ring a bell to me. You may try the popular sportsbook here, look at the gambling section, that's all I can suggest for now.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 21, 2020, 12:26:06 PM

Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
No, there will still be tokens created and there will still people who will invest.
You are generalizing it, altcoin are all coins after bitcoin, so it's impossible there will be no more altcoins to be created as the market is evolving and different platform are introduce, they are just waiting for their time to be popular, like like the De-Fi, it's their time now and I believe we also call them altcoins.
3471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 12:11:04 PM
I made sure I never lose control, I've been losing in gambling but that doesn't affect me much, that is because I just gamble what I can afford to lose. I believe few dollars is alright, that means you can afford what you lose, the thing is, if you keep so emotional, you'll not only lose in gambling but in other things as well, it could be your relationship with your family and people around you because everything will be affected.

Discipline is a must, you know what I'm sayin.
3472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 19, 2020, 12:14:53 PM
If you hate cryptocurrency, it seems that you disregarded all of the facts about them and makes you in this kind of mindset. Learn before talk.

People who hate crypto does not accept any positive argument about crypto, their mind are close and they believe that bitcoin is really ponzi.
We can't control them, that's what they believe and everyone has the right to believe whatever they want, that's the reason why we see people who are successful investing in bitcoin while the other keep throwing negative comment about bitcoin.
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 16, 2020, 11:06:44 AM
I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?
3474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 16, 2020, 10:44:45 AM
This fight will be similar to Floyd Mayweather versus Canelo Alvarez, I reckon. A new rising star who might not be ready versus a veteran of the sport.

MMA fans would understand. We have witnessed this situation many times hehehe.
You know what, you have a point, Canelo that time although making a name for himself in Mexico was thrown too early for Floyd an we do know what happen to that fight. Floyd just play around with a young but hungry Canelo but didn't make it a fight as it was a one sided beating.

But comparing to Lopez though, he is too confident, specially his Dad, so I will stick to my early prediction of Lopez by early KO or not and Loma taking over.

Floyd  is special, can't compare him to Loma, and Floyd will be a hall of famer despite the fact that he also has a lot of haters and did not consider him as a great fighter due to his style, but he clearly teach Canelo that he is not on his level, I think the only fighter that give Floyd a hard time was Maidana.
3475  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New to signature campaigns, questions. on: October 16, 2020, 10:07:14 AM
If only all the bounty hunters have the same attitude as you, then we won't see any complain, and we won't hear investors blaming bounty hunters for dumping their reward, and at the same time that would help the project not to dump because bounty hunters are treating their reward as a coin with potential where they'll only sell at a good price.

May i ask what has bounty hunters attitude got to do with investors complaining about price dump? don't tell me you still believe in those cock and bull story about hunters being the reason why price of a project dump! that is so cliche,
in this time and age where most project are hopping for partial payment of bounty rewards that will spread around 3 - 5 month before the whole bounty pool is paid, where is that opportunity for hunters to dump price! except that project has a very ridiculously low volume,
there are many project with no bounty at all the price still dump, hunters has nothing to do with this.

The attitude to hold, just like an investor, I just appreciate @welovedcrypto  reply as he said he doesn't care about the price, he will hold, so if all bounty hunters will hold, the price will not dump, simple. If bounty hunters sees that there's a very low volume of the project, they should hold it, selling it is affecting the entire market and could cause panic among investors and other bounty hunters.

This is just my opinion based on my observation, you might not disagree with it, so I respect your opinion as well.
3476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New to signature campaigns, questions. on: October 16, 2020, 09:00:28 AM
My experience with signature campaigns are not much good. Because till date i managed to join only in token bounties signature campaign wich I got paid but those tokens are not trading yet.
Bounty signature campaign does not guarantee you'll be able to trade after the reward is given, and it's also not expected you'll get a good price as mostly they are trading below an ICO price or IEO price, that's why it's not really attractive to join in bounty campaign now, unless you are a holder.
Nothing is better than something. As a I am newbie I am not much familiar with signature campaigns and their projects. I just join the campaign and hold the coin or tokens which I earn from it. I don't care much about price too.
If only all the bounty hunters have the same attitude as you, then we won't see any complain, and we won't hear investors blaming bounty hunters for dumping their reward, and at the same time that would help the project not to dump because bounty hunters are treating their reward as a coin with potential where they'll only sell at a good price.
3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: October 16, 2020, 06:58:47 AM
Small bets on the express in several games can bring profit more...
Really, it's not proven man, I tried it many times but I failed most of the time, limited games is better if we like to be profitable, that would make us focus on the games we are capping or analyzing.

The main thing is not to choose the big odds, but the smallest! And do not specify too many events! Wink
Easier said than done, though small odds, it still does not guarantee a win all the time or even a win most of the time.
3478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 16, 2020, 06:37:32 AM
Lomachencko, and 1, is that round 1 win like kO?

I think it's possible considering how Lopez camp are disrespecting the champ here,
Loma doesn't have the record for round 1 KO IIRC. He likes to destroy opponents' mentality first, like toying with them and forced them to retire. It's risky (based on record) if you want to bet on round 1 KO.

Quite risky indeed because Loma is a slow starter, that is why Lopez camp is urging their guy to catch Loma in the earlier round because the longer it gets it would be disaster for Lopez.

Here's my take, KO in the earlier round for Lopez and KO in the latter round for Loma, just don't know which particular round  Smiley.

BTW, hats off to Lopez Sr, he is a good promoter of the fight as he get into everyone's skin.

Would be nice to bet on Lopez early here, the odds is quite attractive and anything could happen as Lopez though less experience and younger, but this guy has a great potential with some heavy KO rate, 12/15 KO rate, I think this guy is really dangerous.

Yes, Lopez is the underdog here so the odds are really quite attractive, that is if you got lucky and predicted that he will win and what round it should. And with that said, I would say that he has a puncher's chance.

But then again, Loma is a cerebral fighter, we all know that he destroys his opponent, and what I mean is that he will crushed you not by knock out, but round by round and it makes you questions your ability as a boxer, and that's why many quit because they know they can't do it.

All I know to see in this fight is Lopez to give Loma a hard time.
Loma makes his opponent quit, that's big than knocking an opponent as you can't call that as a lucky punch, he was the power and he knows how to slowly destroy an opponent, however, he is not undefeated, he can still lose if he made a bad mistake against this younger fighter who really has the power.

Draw doesn't make the fight exiting, after that there will be a rematch and the 3rd fight, of course we love to see a winner, only one.
But it does make a bettor happy due to a good odds.  Grin

Yes, you nail it, hehehe. I bet for Loma for a KO in early rounds. And then have Loma take over in the latter round to look for KO/TKO.

I also have a bet for a draw, risky bet but I like it though,  Grin

Draw is a great choice as well, if both fighters will remain competitive and will not give up, this might be a close fight and judge could score a draw.

I'm browsing now about Loma, and I was really thinking he was undefeated until I review his record and found this article.

LOOK BACK Vasyl Lomachenko’s record includes just one loss as Orlando Salido, an Uber driver in his spare time, beat him in his second professional fight
