3461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why the price of crypto seems so volatile right now ??? on: January 29, 2018, 03:05:08 PM
It always has been like this and judging the question you have asked I think that you are still new to the cryptocurrency market as you have asked our current month which all cryptocurrencies are taking a hit. The right answer here is because majority of the cryptocurrencies made a price rally together with Bitcoin which created a lot of noise, right now the noise had died down and majority took profit.

Looking at it way back you will see that there are really now stable currencies out there at all, as all of them are volatile or subject to change because there are no governments controlling it they are only influencing it the price movements, also the biggest price mover are the whales which are large holders of that crypto they can really make a big influence to the prices.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 29, 2018, 10:28:45 AM
From what I know there is a difference of fun and excitement of winning real money from play money. Of course you are risking your own money just a chance to win more with it, the fun and excitement will be less when you are just playing with free money which we all know don't have any value at all to us. And also if I gamble,  I gamble for fun as if I gamble for money I am expecting at the end that I will win something which is really depressing if I don't produce the result that I want.
3463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: January 29, 2018, 08:11:08 AM
Yup the first time I tried to enter a casino in my country they have stopped me and questioned my age as I really look younger to what my age is really is, they asked for a proof like a driver's license or a valid I.D. which unfortunately I don't have during that time after saying that I don't have any I.D.s on me they did not allowed my to enter the casino. Ever since that happened to me I always bring an I.D. in my wallet so that it won't cause me trouble in entering any casino ever again.
3464  Economy / Gambling / Re: POWERBET [Uncensored] Legal action in preparation! on: January 29, 2018, 06:55:36 AM
I do not really understand this service for what. Can you explain it in more detail,
- File criminal complaints against the liable people/company behind the powerbet.io scam

- Request enforcement titles to enforce the claims

sorry if we use your service you can protecting us from fraud site?? how can you do that?
The Online gambling scams! information service can protect you from fraud if you avoid these sites.

If you are already defrauded, legal action can lead to get your money.

You do realize that filing a case against a gambling site needs the complainant with you? Which means you cannot represent them with only the words you have collected online, even if you collect evidences online against powerbet your case won't push through to the court as they will render those evidences as invaluable. They need to be physically present in front of a prosecutor which I believe you are not doing based on the words you are using.
3465  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: January 29, 2018, 04:58:37 AM
In my own opinion we should not even start thinking about using recycling as our advocate to boost economic growth. If we really care about the mother earth and everything that is currently living it we must teach our current and future generations how to properly throw our waste as you can see our trash literally ends up everywhere even our ocean floor has garbage which can endanger our marine species and also our environment overall. We must practice on going green as no matter how frequent we do recycling if there is endless garbage everywhere our time and work would only be useless.

waiting for a response from support since Friday
I had a pending deposit with a low fee,it has been pending for quite a long time
finally it has been confirmed, imagine my surprise when I  logged in to Duckdice
to only see that deposit was ...manually cancelled by admin

https://blockchain.info/tx/c7cfbac274ffac2df3ca75f84a541120f9f01c71f6181ab3496ff7b27a4a0ebb

I don't even want to ask why would a pending deposit be cancelled at all
especially given the current state of the blockchain, but not to answer a support letter for more than 2 days is
something new and is safedice worthy  Grin
anyways, waiting for my 800k to be credited, thank you in advance

sent a copy to duckdice's admin account here

This is the first time I see an issue like this where player's deposit is canceled manually by the admin. Do they think that your deposit is considered like a double spent attempt because of the low fee? Even if they think like that then I think they should not cancel your deposit, they should only wait until 1 confirmation or more to credit your account balance.
Is there no active admin on the chat during weekends who can help you to solve this?
I wouldn't be surprised that this thing has happened currently DuckDice hase now bad reputation due to recent actions brought by them especially the accusation regarding their bonus conditions. And I do agree that they don't have the right to cancel a member's withdrawal without any valid reason what they can do is hold the withdrawal at most for a fraud assessment. Also before cancelling the withdrawal the staff should have informed the player the reason why their withdrawal got cancelled.
3467  Economy / Gambling / Re: what the most honest casino ,provably fair that accept bitcoin? on: January 28, 2018, 07:47:23 AM
i mean based on real and honest feedbacks , never accused for scamming  users .
I guess there will be none if you looking for a gambling site that has never accused of something of. I mean when you look at their own threads you will see that a lot of members (especially the lower ranked ones) are accusing them from holding the withdrawal to banning them without any reason. And of course it will be normal for it as it is a game of chance where people get to be hotheaded or tense about the game, some of them take it to the next level where they hate will put them of putting some dishonest feedback about the site.
3468  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 28, 2018, 06:49:09 AM
Hey guys sorry if natanong na ito before pero di ko mahanap sa Thread ng Coins.Ph kung nasagiot na ito. Gusto ko sana malaman kung saan nila bini-base yung value nila sa App nila? Preev Rates ba or based on a specific exchange? Importante kasi ito para mas maging accurate yung charting natin para sa prices ng coins. Sana may makasagot na representative ng Coins.Ph or any member na alam talaga yung sagot. Thank You in advance.  By the way Bitcoin is going up again Smiley
3469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: January 27, 2018, 06:50:44 PM

Stake.com will pay for your transaction fees!

We are tired that you are paying unnecessarily high fees, and because of that, we are covering all your Stake depositing transaction costs.

Contact support with your transaction ID alongside a screenshot for your refund.

Keep in mind....

  • Minimum deposit is 0.01 BTC.
  • Maximum transaction fee to be paid is 0.0025 BTC.
  • If you are sending from a 3rd party service (i.e. exchanges) you may be asked for extra information to avoid abuse. Don't worry; we respect your privacy.
  • Promotion ends before the 31st of January. Contact support beforehand to ensure this is still running.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to post it here or contact our 24/7 Live Support.

This is good promotion to encourage people to use Bitcoins to gamble instead of going to other altcoins because of the high transaction fee.

I thought it may be a long-term promotion but ends quite fast in few days.

Anyway altcoin is much more faster, but who does not like a free thing? I believe nowadays there are many similar promotions around which related about the transaction fee, I just wondering why they suddenly do that including stake. For stake, I do not deny them because they already have huge bankroll to support this. I am sure they can cover tons of their players. Btw is primedice including on this promotions?
Well that is good that you offered up free transaction fees to the members of the community unfortunately it is just a promotion which will end at the end of the month of January. I hope that this kinds of services become a mainstay site feature as it will really encourage players to play in your site as they know their winnings won't be deducted because of paying a network fee. I hope that you put it up into consideration as some members here view it as a bad thing because they view it somewhere in the lines of "we are just withdrawing our money and we need to pay for it".
3470  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: January 27, 2018, 04:58:49 PM
It seems odd that kind of scenario will happen in the first place. What I mean about that is all the gamblers that I know who win or wins big in a gambling site will instantly withdraw it as they know keeping it in a Wallet is much more safer and also it won't tempt them as easily as keeping it in the gambling site itself. If that kind of event ever happened I don't think that it will be in the gambling site's protocol to do so as you might be entering in a legal situation of them like showing them a death certificate for proof also an evidence that you are indeed one of their heirs.
3471  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion/ Recommendations for the Current and Future Merit Sources on: January 27, 2018, 07:09:06 AM
Thank you very much! Will you be updating this thread? Please do! I would be following this thread for my references! Thank you once again!
I only highlighted a couple of examples of how Merit Sources can give sMerits but I don't intend to update this thread frequently. But if there is a demand I think I could create a separate thread about people who are giving sMerits away or maybe another member could do it who can actively update the List.
3472  Other / Meta / Suggestion/ Recommendations for the Current and Future Merit Sources on: January 27, 2018, 06:39:08 AM
It has been 3 days since theymos announced the new merit system and there is still a lot of mixed emotions going on with the new feature which it has left a bad impression for most of the lower ranked members, it made them lose hope that they won't be able to rank up again. And by the time that majority of the sMerits of non-Merit Source Members run out the only way members will be ranking up is by being Merited by Merit Sources.

So with the days that passed by I see that the new system will have a good effect in the long run which will drive people to improve their post, as I see some of the merit sources out here are actively giving Merits for deserving members. So for the current and future Merit Sources out there I suggest that you would do the following as you are the only ones who can rank up other members in the future.

Hunting
Actively reading different threads from different section might be a hard and time consuming but there are honestly good high quality post waiting to be merited out there, searching them and giving them one will encourage them to do more posts with the same or better quality.

Reviewing
Similar to what bill gator made. He created a service thread where he offers to review any post that seems to him to be helpful or informative after that he will give the user a MERIT for FREE. For merit sources who don't want to go to many threads hunting for quality posts this might be a good alternative.

Contest
Be generous and at the same time creative when creating your sMerit giveaway as it will surely drive a lot of members to create high quality posts. Here are some of the members who created contests/challenges.

So for the current and future Merit Sources out there take advantage of your regenerating sMerits to make Bitcointalk a Better Community.
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting-analyst.com premium tips in all sports on: January 26, 2018, 10:22:58 AM
Even if its a paid analysis or a paid tip of a sports game it does not guarantee that the prdiction is 100% accurate and the bookies made sure of that. Yes I know odds are created to make the bet still harder to side on that is why we can't have a guaranteed win in every game. And basing it from my personal experience I always watch these kinds of tips and I would sometimes end up losing some of my bets. Now I am only using free tips as my reference point for my decisions.
3474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss Trading on: January 26, 2018, 09:47:26 AM
I cannot recommend anyone to use the stop-loss feature in an exchange as you will literally incur what was before your paper loss. I would rather do a preset of stop gain where you can still profit from your trade as it is still better than losing money. Before in trading I am practicing stop loss in my trades but then that is when I notice that it is slowly taking away my gains that is why I created a better plan in which I set my target prices so that I know when to sell.
3475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: January 26, 2018, 07:18:48 AM
That is only for people who are not into seeing a lot of people. Like me when I am in a table and a lot of people are surrounding me I always feel that they are only looking at me when the truth is they are looking or waiting for the results of the game. What is more sad about my situation is the feeling that I want to go away from that table but still a lot of people are there making me stay even though when I am losing. That is why when I prefer online gambling as I can do it in my house without me feeling that someone is looking at me.
3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your friends or your family think BTC is a fad that will fade away? on: January 26, 2018, 05:56:49 AM
Well my friends do and I can't blame them as something like this that is too good to be true makes them have 2nd thoughts and actually warn themselves in entering. Of course I still have friends that thinks Bitcoin is a bubble and and that it is a currency for criminals but I think that can be change through time. What I mean about that is many new people are entering into the world of cryptocurrency that even they themselves have change their views to it. With some support of the government and businesses I think Bitcoin will become a currency for the future.
3477  Other / Meta / Re: Could Theymos rename Merit as a Like? on: January 25, 2018, 02:38:06 PM
I don't think that it is a good a idea to rename the Merit to Like as theymos has also hinted that putting a demerit system is possible if necessary by changing so you are also asking for a dislike which is nothing to be serious about. Merit is a more proper word to be used in a forum where you want good quality posters.
3478  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT BUG on: January 25, 2018, 01:04:01 PM
Yes it is. It is similar to giving trust as you refresh the page you will re-post the trust you gave to another member, the good thing about it is the copy can be deleted while the merit you gave will not. One quick fix will be avoiding refreshing the page and try to visit the thread in another way hopefully you won't be wasting your sMerits that way until they have solve the issue.
3479  Other / Meta / Re: Vital Facts and Figures about Merit Point.(Answers to your Queries.) on: January 25, 2018, 11:26:05 AM
Now the problem here will be would other members be active enough to use their merit points to give to other members? I have seen similar features on other forums as well and  they don't bother to use it. But who knows it is a new system and members might be well aware of what comes when they are giving merits to other members as ranking up is on the line.
3480  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 25, 2018, 07:36:19 AM
I had been playing slots game for some days now. while I am playing, I notice that randomly there is a session expired message while running the game. The message sent was like, I was disconnected for being idle while I am actively running the game.  Is this a kind  of bug?  Honestly, this is manageable but somehow annoying.
It may be due to the reason that slot games are being opened to other window/tab which results to the main page to become idle. I also experience it when I am playing slot games but one quick fix is clicking or visiting the main page once in a while to prevent it from logging out. And I agree fixing it will be a good thing for us players as our game won't be interrupted.
