3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 22, 2020, 02:57:05 AM
It's those bounty campaigns that you should watch out for. That doesn't mean they are already a scam to begin with, but they might be new to the forum, and they want to have more reach with the cryptocurrency members everywhere. If they are diligent enough to understand and know the workarounds of Bitcointalk, they would know to hire a campaign manager or let an escrow hold the actual funds of the campaign itself.

If they are legitimate, then it's easy to show that to the public. If not, then be careful about those projects, don't get scammed.

A little more dump, please. The current position of my bag, XMR, is at -54%. It was previously -200%. Look at the chart of XMR at a 5 minute timeframe. I'm feeling a little hopeful with it. ~2% price difference. Hoping for a little more dump.

Average Entry Price: 141.67017
Current Price of XMR: 145.38

But let's not be emotional and let Gunbot do its thing continuously. No interventions whatsoever.

3464  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're almost half way to 100x (250k) on: December 22, 2020, 01:07:39 AM
I'm concerned about how much volume it's going to be when it reaches that amount. The volume of money that would be invested to reach that amount. That's really a high figure and considering that we have reached another 600%, I'm sure that the news about it is widespread. It can reach another new high in the following months.

I hope it's not going to be a constant USDT printing.  Shocked
3465  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance bug " "Insufficient balance" on: December 21, 2020, 11:28:57 PM
Thank you but the fees are deducted from the amount of the transaction .. Binance has confirmed it to me ..
So Binance confirmed that the fees that cause that type of insufficient balance notice in the GUI? I'm not sure, but there could be a volume issue because you are selling a large amount of stack with a market price. Their books might not be able to gauge it at an instant or something correctly. The volume of that is a lot upon computing on your video; that's $63223 USD. People can short it while you do that, lol.
3466  Economy / Economics / Re: A reward system for Covid Free people.... on: December 21, 2020, 03:39:21 PM
I know many people can really benefit from these kinds of ideas, but it's typically not efficient and not sustainable enough to work. Imagine having to check weekly with swab tests, and who is going to pay for that? I know that there is nothing tangible to be benefitted from "following protocols" just being healthy. And I think that's enough of a reward for people who aren't going to get sick.

If there is a reward all the time for being the "good guy" who always follows the rules and making sure that everything is in order, I think many people would be richer.

I think having the opposite can be a discussion as well. Like those people who got infected and are not following the rules like quarantine, they need to be punished in a way. Maybe they could be the one providing the money for those "rewards" to the healthy ones, lol.
3467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 21, 2020, 05:18:05 AM
Trading 24/7 is definitely a good thing as it allowed people to react immediately at any time to the new events as opposed to stock markets. And what you refer to about trading anything but top20 cryptos is a valid reason as those pairs have less liquidity, less coverage, thus they have more arbitrage and inefficiency opportunities to be exploited by the ones who are able to do so.
That is the advantage of cryptocurrency markets, and that's why I love it even though I have been down so many times with it. That's just the process of becoming an efficient trader and, hopefully, a profitable one. Anyways, once you have paired it with USDT in an exchange, you would get great volumes on it because most of the people want to profit on a USDT basis and not BTC. I'm currently not doing arbitrage at the moment, but the market maker is definitely a great strategy.
3468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Start with $2000 on: December 21, 2020, 03:50:18 AM
Here is a breakdown of how many profits I had with the different pairs that I have in my account in Binance Futures. It is showed below in the right chart.

The lowest profit that I have is XMR, so I hope it goes down and let me change that pair to get a more profitable one.

USDT-COMP, USDT-ADA, and USDT-VET are the best-winning pairs currently. Maybe the criteria that I have there are replicated in other pairs. Any ideas anyone?

I have updated the OP and the current cumulative PNL% is 4.7186%
3469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance bug " "Insufficient balance" on: December 21, 2020, 12:28:26 AM
I have a couple of questions for you about what you are doing. What type of order are you executing? Limit or Market? Because you might be wondering that you might be executing a price in the order book, but you are not considering the fee with your trades. There's a fee depending on your VIP level in Binance, in which your rates are included. You could see the link below what those rates are.

https://www.binance.com/en/fee/schedule

And you could also compute there if you are close to being level up with the amount of volume you are inputting, etc.

3472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Start with $2000 on: December 19, 2020, 06:29:31 AM
I have this feeling that I want to rush the process. I want to be greedy and make more possible profits but once I felt that, I know I shouldn't be. I don't want to let my emotion of greed get the best of me. The current setup is working, an average of $8/day is really not that bad. Hopefully, in the long run, it continues. I just can't wait for what the outcome could be.

I still have the XMR bag, I hope the price would go down soon. I have the necessary settings in the bot already so I don't have to worry so much.

Below is XMR chart in 5 min. Hopefully, it goes down continuously.

3473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 19, 2020, 03:59:37 AM
I'm completely aware that with the pair USDT-BTC, you could get really volatile. So whenever I'm trading right now, I stay away from it because those swings will either benefit you or kill your account in the process. With my current trading setup, I avoid the top altcoins and BTC from my trading pairs just because of those swings. I mainly regret the part where I included XMR because it left me a bag, but it's quite far from the liquidation limit.

I think the innovations on trading in the stock market have affected and definitely the same it's just that in crypto, it's 24 hours. No closing in the day or night (in different timezones). It can be called an innovation because it wasn't previously used in that category, but it doesn't mean it didn't improve.
3474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tip. on: December 18, 2020, 08:16:17 AM
~snip
When we followed the signal, we need to analyze more to find if that signal can be our reference to buy and sell. If we can get more info from that sign, we can determine when we can trade. But still, no one can accurately predict the crypto market, and it is normal to see if our target price can sometimes be missed. We can learn more about trading to improve our skills, so we can get more data to trade, giving us the chance to make a profit. Be careful when we want to follow other signals, and make sure that we know how to determine when to trade.
To become successful in trading you need to be consistent with your decision and trading strategies. Because if one indicator tells you to buy and another supporting indicator tells you to buy as well you need to buy according to that strategy. But if one is not agreeing to the other, and then it is going to be a conflicting sign which means you shouldn’t trade.

So what happens when the trading indicators all that you are using are aligning but the result is not what did you expect? It’s just the probability of what could happen in the market but it’s not always 100%. I hope every trader does understand that.
3475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Start with $2000 on: December 18, 2020, 01:36:43 AM
My current bag - XMR

My bot stopped DCA'ing the pair because the pair actually hit the liquidation limit that I set in the bot. I could just HODL that bag for a while and hope that it goes down to my average entry price. Essentially, still profitable but with this bag.

3476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tip. on: December 18, 2020, 12:08:06 AM
Great set up in a way if the SL didn't hit you in your play. I know we all think that this prediction is great because it happened, and we are all happy for it, especially those who rode the wave up to the new ATH. I hadn't seen this tip about when it was posted, and even if I did, I wouldn't have followed it anyway.

Great tip because it went to the prediction. I'm not sure what members would post here if it didn't. Probably get roasted for it, lol. I hope OP made some big bucks!
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of Football Clubs Fan Token in the Soccer industry on: December 17, 2020, 03:00:34 PM
I think that once you have made your fan token Well known to the industry, you might have the chance to partner up with Binance and then list your tokens there for further profits for sure. I know that to get listed with Binance, you need to pay a large sum of BTC. The last time I read about it was around 7 to 10 BTC. I'm not sure about that one. Once the token has been listed, it will have real-world use. That's the point of them listing it. If they ever will.
3478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Start with $2000 on: December 17, 2020, 03:52:26 AM
With the recent ATH by BTC, it has caused altcoins to be affected in a way, and there are still no bears winning the price action. Hoping in the next coming weeks, some of the altcoins, *ahem* XMR, to make a bearish trend so that I could remove that pair and change it for another, lol.

Below are my current positions with the GUI.

I have updated the first post as well.
3479  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC break 21000 usd, great! on: December 17, 2020, 01:30:09 AM
This is what we are waiting for, and we are thankful for that. For this year, I believe we are not going to see more action until next year. It's currently at a high right now, and you know once it has reached a higher high, it could give another retracement and possible consolidation in a few weeks first and then possibly reach another high.

In the Bollinger bands, it has pierced it, and possible correction could come after that. Let's see what the market would do next.
3480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: December 16, 2020, 01:20:14 PM
Do you know who can control the direction of the token? The whales that hold their specific tokens that large stacks will be swaying the market to the lower side and be bearish all the way. Of course, we are just members that go by and wish to get that sweet profit that everyone wants and then live off it for the rest of our lives. If we manage to do that, then everyone would've been in the most luxurious islands by now. But we didn't because we can't really predict it.

If someone told you that there is certainty in trading, then that person needs checking, lol. Maybe ask him for money since he can predict it 100%.
