People are free to try offer better deals and services though often times they'll likely be much worse.
Offering better deals in this area almost always means offering horrible services.. I don't think it is fine to do this, especially not when the user was already hired. If you allow this, then you essentially allow users to do this out of spite; slippery slope here and there, you reject someone's entry in a bounty because of them being a farmed account: They attempt to get you ("legitimately; by offering "better" services") fired. Even if you lose business temporary if you provide a good enough service the word will get out and you'll continue getting business.
No. In traditional industries, sure. For bitcointalk ICOs, no. A lot of the ICOs don't really give a damn about the negative effect (spam, farming and whatnot) and would go for the cheapest option that just marks which addresses need to be paid. |

Yeah Electrum is pretty much the only major software wallet supporting bc1 apart from Bitcoin Core (I've never used core so I'm not 100% sure, but according to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bech32_adoption Core is indeed supporting Bech32. Probably something related to Core's 0.16 update) at the moment but if I'm not wrong then Ledger and Trezor too have support for bc1 (again this is via Electrum) That is correct. The default addresses are encapsulated SegWit (3..). You can generate bech32 addresses by starting with '-addresstype=bech32'. |

None of the people that you've added have anything to do with this[1]. It was TMAN and I, nobody else (I've been repeatedly calling for the removal of minifrij's name due to no-involvement, but you don't care about the truth). I have tagged all accounts.
Working on it. Even though the write up of the rating by the reporters has helped considerably, tagging 50-60 accounts (see first case) still takes more time than it should. I've thought of a more efficient reporting format crafted for myself, but I'd probably have to make a general thread (i.e. send all reports to Lauda here in XYZ format kind of thing). Additionally, there are certain member groups actively working on causing dissent here and creating distractions in order to delay tagging connections. *If you know what I mean*. How is this balanced with a full time job?
You make a false generalization. Not everyone is a modern slave (full time) worker. Anyhow, you can find time for this if you want to.

There are cases in which tagging someone for speaking out is warranted, i.e. when someone makes a shill account to make a horrible accusation without any evidence (e.g. that one is a pedophile). However, there are also cases in which it is not (e.g. just honestly questioning certain *businesses*; cough). I wouldn't recommend questioning unless you are ready to face the consequences which others have suffered already. |

There is nothing Ponzi about NastyFans. If you continue to spread libel statements with no evidence and do not correct your prior ones, I will red tag you for spreading lies about provably honest community projects. As can be seen by my unedited post, as well as by owlcatz's unedited post. I gather that this is because it's easy to see the way in which DT1 abuse was threatened towards me. I saw nothing wrong with what I posted, nor did I find any of it to be untrustworthy. But based on the documentation in this thread, along with the actions I've observed, I really am concerned that this user is a DT1 member. It is not weird; the post was being set up to justify a negative rating in order to silence you. If you keep poking for information there, you are likely to get one. |
