Most of those commands you posted are for mining or servers, which are not needed here, either, so it would just be forcing your client to run less lightweight and be more of a resource hog than it needs to be
Remember, some people are running a bunch of masternodes on one machine, so usage is important to keep low

Why the attitude toward me? I have been nothing but nice to you through this transition.
You act like I've not been helping people. I've written two in-depth guides and been working on connections issues for the past 48 hours straight, which are now resolved If I don't give a conf example it's because you don't need one unless you want to add maxconnections=999 Fair enough. I don't see anything i have written that implies that, but OK I will ask no more questions. By the way the latest fixes have worked great, I now have 10 connections. Thanks for your hard work. Sorry, I'm stressed. Glad it's working. There really is no need for a conf file, though, other than that one line if you want it

I see that lots of people including myself are unclear on what is supposed to be in a proper .conf file.
PLEASE can someone post a full example of what the contents of the .conf file are that is fully working for this coin.
Nobody has done this and it only causes confusion for all us noobs not totally familiar with what it contains.
Again. Can someone post an actual working .conf file that the noobs can use or modify to their own.
Spots, I don't know why this was not included in the op like most other coins and why nobody has posted one yet after so many have asked for it.
PLEASE PLEASE
There is no "proper" .conf file. My answer above has nothing to do with the connections issue. The config file serves the purpose to pass flags to the wallet. What you include in your config file depends on your needs. My config: I know they can be user need dependant, but some other coins give you an example with proper ports for the coin and a basic starting point. One taken from the 365coin op page: Code: (example 365coin.conf) rpcallowip=* rpcuser=yourrpcuser rpcpassword=securerpcpass rpcport=8869 server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 addnode=50.186.150.238 addnode=69.140.163.94 addnode=80.241.220.178 addnode=37.187.9.53 addnode=50.116.57.160 addnode=80.241.220.178 addnode=164.138.27.175 addnode=212.83.191.214 It gives the proper file name and a starting point config that can be changed/edited later as the user needs change. It only takes a second or two to do and then at least everyone is using the right info. It eliminates support issues from users who try to figure it out themselves by trial and error using wrong ports, wrong syntax etc. That's because that coin runs like shit. I included a .bat if you want to edit folders

maxconnections=999 That's it, or nothing. I have nodes running without a conf file at all. You are only used to using conf files because the coins you use run like shit

Give it a few min, I changed some ban rules, too
|
|
|
OK cool so the connections issue is solved
|
|
|
I don't use flags like that so I don't know the format, but it's 'walletpassphrase password time true' in console, so I'm sure it's something similar
|
|
|
Wallets been up a few mins and only seeing 4 cons which is what I've been averaging all though it's never the same between the main client and two bands.
Edit: Just hit 8, only got the main non band wallet running right now.
Edit 2: Ehh, bouncing 6-8 but seems better, for the one client running ne way.
If you get capped at 8, the issue is local

Ok, just pushed a major change to solve connection issues. Please close wallet and make sure your conf has:
maxconnections=999
Then reload client
lol I set my max con to 50 simply because I had well over 70+ nodes connected. Please don't cap it yet. Give us a few days of seeding. The more the better I am trying to sort out why my wallet crashes, so I have to do some try and error. Not sure what the problem is, but I have the same problem with some other qt wallets that are the same as GB. When running on my spare box, no problems, but too much cpu load for my poor P4 cpu. Staking will use a much higher resource load than a GBand

A primary look at the numbers on c-c-cex today now that its got volume. Lets compare the old bucks to the new bucks and see how we came out value wise. You received 6.3 "Newbucks" for every "original bucks". To be beyond fair I took the highest price of the most recent 24 hr orders on c-cex today, and that was .00019999 BTC per new buck. Take .00019999btc X 6.3 and you get 0.001259937 btc. So for every original buck you swapped you received: 0.001259937 btc 0.001259937 converted into US dollars is: 33 cents (for 6.3 new bucks). The last trade on the original bucks, on gorilla exchange was about $1.30, BUT I want to be extra fair, and take the LOWEST bucks ever was and that was $1 per original buck. So if Im looking at this right everyone lost 77 cents on each original buck that was swapped. @Spots, Im going to ask that you keep this post live, and open for discussion, and even respond. Please dont delete it, as I will just repost. This just needs to be discussed with everyone. It might even calm people if its handled professional. If im looking at this wrong, Im open to correction. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs13.postimg.org%2F5dj72x2ef%2Fbucks_chart_wed_july_1st_2015.jpg&t=663&c=YMVobH1epnejww) Thank you Vegas Here is my maths as I am already in profit off bucks I purchased 200 bucks for $200 so they cost $1 each. I then staked them 200 bucks but split them up into 198 deposits of 1 and lost 2 in fees so was left with $198. I staked from the start untill the snapshop and ended up with a balance of 3657 bucks on conversion them 3657 were multiplied by lets call it 6 as whats a .3 giving me a total of 21942 of the new bucks Now the price of bucks has been dropping so lets now call in half of what you said and say 10k sats each 10,000 x 21942 = 219420000 or 2.1942 btc lets round it to 2 btc now then whats that value of btc atm 1 BTC = $257.9088 I,ll call it $250 round that down aswell so 2x $250 = $500 :O I have over doubled my original investment Thankyou spots ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) So your $200 initial investment rose to $3657. Now in the blink of an eye it's worth $500. And your happy about it? Just asking.... He way more than doubled his money in a month and now has a much better product to continue staking and hosting masternodes. I would be happy with that..

Everyone good now?

Also if you are going to stake, what's the optimum size of inputs? 1 coin? 5? 10? 50? 100? 500? Will be transferring from c-cex with its annoying email confirmation so tiny inputs will be a pain but worth it if every 5 coin input is staking rewards of 1-9 coins occasionally Thanks
No idea what optimum size is, I just let the wallet split the stacks until I think it takes too much time to stake. thanks ButtCrack how do you let the wallet split them up? I'm about to send coins from c-cex shall I send in one block or send a few at a time? Thanks again jk Few at a time

....and Im not trying to at at you either. Ill also post results when they are positive too. I was going to post this if the results are good or bad. Yes, its VERY early, Ill give you that. Ill also post as price rises too. I know you have plans that will take time. Ill be following along, good or bad. I hope you DO see, that I was VERY fair, by taking the highest price in past 24 hrs, and lowest price of original bucks. I always try to be as fair and impartial as possible. I just think the ratio on the new bucks was FAR too low. This could have been avoided with a ratio of new bucks of about 20:1 . It was that simple.
Vegas
If you were really trying to do math on getting out, you would have sold when it had 40+ BTC volume at .0005 Getting out? You didnt swap any original bucks for me! I know you did alot of orders, but you swapped 141 teeth for me. Thats it. I knew what was coming. I was out WAY before you even knew. I did NOT create these results. Im just posting absolute facts, thats all. Im not even upset. But lets not start a pissing match. Go back to work. Vegas There goes that 'lawsuit' you were trying to set up ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)
