Unfortunately in the bitcoin space the "we've been hacked" excuse can more often than not be directly translated as "thanks for the satoshi's...suckers!!"
What happened? People is claiming hashie.co got hacked, and there is an announcement in their website that links to a song that says "let it go", along "hashies operations are temporarily unavaliable" I just got to south africa for the end of the year and i get to read this crap Well, that I know, First clue is 'SOS', it's in the song, I think next we go here https://hashie.co/scs.html. Anyway if people want to check their accounts https://hashie.co/login works fine... Where is the information about the hack? And if the website gets compromised are any funds also compromised?

So, the prize for winning the game is 20 bitcoin?
This behaviour is defined with the "stockholm syndrome". In dummy words falling in love with your predator. The hacker butfucked y'all yet you're playing games with her ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) Should be because of the pain of loss. What hacker? hahsie.co is hacked How do you know that?

Any differences from DropBox?
Storj is not a dropbox competitor, however dropbox can use storj for storage.

Porn movies don't premiere in every theater cinema in the world, there's a lot less money to be made. But you can find some expensive and elaborated productions, like Porn Wars by Private. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

wouldnt wonder me if that torrent was a xmas present from obama+sony ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (its kinda rare nowadays that you get good/high quality ripps right after airing especially if the movie didnt even aired lol)well they released via other mediums ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It is not, Sony released it online at seetheinterview.com and via Google and Microsoft, only available on USA, people ripped it and shared via bittorrent for the rest of the world, thanks RARBG. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hmm... I wonder if it's possible to implement torrent links in a decentralized blockchain-style manner? The Bitcoin blockchain is just a list of transactions. It shouldn't be too difficult to create a blockchain composed of torrent entries. Some type of rating system could be implemented on top to filter out non-genuine entries and there could be a built-in mechanism for pruning of old or inactive links.
Datacoin seems to work pretty well for data so I'd be surprised if the concept isn't viable for torrents - which are a type of data.
http://www.tribler.org/And there are also forks of popcorn time that do not need central servers.

Give a look at some of those faucets out there and check what ad network they use...
