I got a non-fuctional windows 7 pro key from OP's autobuy service. Can't find him in skype either plus the OP account now seems to be banned?! Yikes. This is so frustrating.
3482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 20, 2017, 08:06:58 AM
livecoin.net are advertising a card, but no details appear to be publicly available in their page yet. Anyone here have experience with them?

3483  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin and altcoins when under 18 on: January 20, 2017, 07:53:47 AM
Local bitcoins would be an option for cash, but other than that there are some debit cards that allow ordering physical cards with no ID verification; feel free to check out my thread List of bitcoin debit cards Perhaps you could also use P2P trades to receive funds in something like a paypal account but that's the most risky.
3484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to Candlestick on: January 20, 2017, 07:44:24 AM
You're probably talking about chart analysis. Well, there are several websites and services to help with that. Investopedia is a nice start because you'll need to familiarize yourself with the terminology at first. You can follow live market data through charting sites, a good one is cryptowat.ch.
3485  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ross William Ulbricht not Pardoned! on: January 20, 2017, 07:40:35 AM
It's no wonder in my opinion. Obama might have had a light hearted approach when it comes to drug use and hence why he pardoned some cases but that doesn't really mean that you could count on him for more controversial decisions. Ulbricht was regarded by the media as the kingpin of an online marketplace that sold illegal goods, things much further than just drugs.
3486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 19, 2017, 10:33:18 PM
Do you think that virtual banking services like Leupay and number26 should be included in the list as relevant services?

yes, leupay.eu
It's a pretty good service. The debit card they send is nice and verification doesn't take ages or tons of bureaucracy. Number26 requires passport identification for most countries which is too much of a hassle.

In other news, I recently found out that The Rock Trading have a (prepaid?) card service. I don't know if it's new but I'll just leave this here for future reference.

3487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mycelium's "crowdsale": basically a donation, not an investment by any means on: January 18, 2017, 03:26:14 PM
LOL sorry I mean this
https://card.mycelium.com/

Something is happening. Now if they are gonna put WAVES these cards I can see this  quite litterally one of the main ways crypto can go mainstream. Hold tight guys hehe
This isn't new either, the Bitcoin Card project has been around since 2012. Mycelium has been "working on it" with seeminly no progress other than redesigning the project's web page for years. In my humble opinion, it's a project with no real world use so it's no wonder that there's no apparent progress.
3488  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which is the best mining equipment company? on: January 18, 2017, 03:01:17 PM
There is a list https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_Bitcoin_mining_ASICs

But Bitmain is the only manufacturer that currently offers competitive miners in retail. Their s9 really is the best option out there in terms of competitiveness and efficiency for new equipment.

Why is Bitmain the best mining equipment manufacturer? Is it because the Hash Rate is the company that produces the highest devices? Or the hardware quality of the devices is longer than others? Have you used the equipment of different companies besides Bitmain?
The efficiency of Bitmain's latest miner makes it the only viable alternative to consumers. J/Gh is the metric miners should be judged on when it comes to profitability.

A post from July 2016? This isn't new and on the contrary was part of the material to promote the ICO before parties responsible went AWOL.
3492  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fuck Coinbase on: January 17, 2017, 10:30:41 AM
It looks like the issue in the reddit thread mentioned in the OP was resolved:
FINAL EDIT Rosie finally emailed me and said that if I made another trade she would credit me the difference. I did, and she did.

I have used Coinbase to cashout 5 figures worth of bitcoin at a time, to buy 5 figures worth of bitcoin at a time, and withdraw 100+ bitcoin, all on multiple occasions, and all with no issues to note.

They have recently raised their fees, which make them somewhat uncompetitive, however other than that, I would recommend using coinbase to others.
Having to go public to have such issues addresses isn't acceptable for a "regulated" service in my opinion. Coinbase shouldn't assert to such tactics as canceling orders for whatever reason.
3493  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 17, 2017, 08:09:21 AM
bitcoin-card service without a monthly fee as advcash? Huh
Coinsbank for the first year is the main one that comes to mind. But aside of that, if no money is in the card no fee will be paid, regardless of card.
3494  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Interest in a Bitcoin integrated chess website? on: January 16, 2017, 06:25:46 PM
It'd be fun, but nothing to be taken too seriously. With machine-assisted chess beating humans in all aspects, nobody smart enough to know this would put much money into such a thing unless playign with someone you trust beforehand.

What about an anti-cheat system similar to lichess and chess.com?

http://dataskeptic.com/blog/episodes/2015/detecting-cheating-in-chess

Also, not allowing free accounts would surely help this problem, I would think.
No anti-cheat system for online chess can check whether or not the player is using external devices to input the opponent's moves and receive suggestions.

This is a very non-standard practice. Not that other services check the authenticity of documents thoroughly but at least obviously faked are rejected.

With other services I've used, using fake documentation to verify yourself would be against your interest as it'd risk a user account shutdown. It's weird that loadoo has chosen to take this path, end even express their intent though support statement. If the above is true, there certainly must be some risk on their side, which IMO isn't ideal for the potential of reliability for their service as their banks could cut them off at any time if a breach of contract was observed.

In other news, Coinsbank's verification requires either your proof of address in English/Russian or a notarized translation. First time I'm seeing this in a service that requires verification.

1. notarized translation big problem
they will lose a lot of customers

2. looado - guy from Latvia muzzie
http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-accounts-sale/88942-loadoo-vcc-ebay-paypal-verifications-withdrawals-instant-secure.html

3. load BTC via MasterCard with service ecopayz.com

So the main party behind loadoo is a senior member in a ebay/amazon suspension forum? That's a bit shady. Not to downplay loadoo's service but I'll be leaving them in the questionable category until I can see more user reviews in this forum.
3497  Economy / Economics / Re: $1100 to $750 is significant on: January 15, 2017, 11:09:21 PM
Call it sla bubble if you want but in reality it's closer to a bull run, although there must have been some attempts to manipulate the market. Large players certainly dumped some coins on people believing in a long uptrend.
3498  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 15, 2017, 08:33:22 PM

Loadoo info:

Quote
Points 1 and 2 contradict each other... if you won't accept "creative" documents, then how can one open a stealth Loadoo account?
And this is necessary since you will block any unverified accounts which receive PayPal withdrawals... so after the first account/6
cards, Loadoo is useless.
---End Quote---

loado support (LV):
Quote
You can open the loadoo account if you're going to submit your real info, if you wanna use photoshoped stuff just try and get a VCC
from other buyers on loadoo is like you're signing up a contract with a bank! i'm pretty sure you won't go to bank with fake
documents, unless if you're not from this planet Smiley

It's kinda odd how much time it took for people to start being skeptical. At least it happened, although with come. Scam accusations are just NOW started being spouted against Mycelium, but when I made this post many people were skeptical about MY claims, even though evidence to support everything I was posting was out there. Hard to tell if early naysayers were shills or plain foolish.
3500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fuck Coinbase on: January 14, 2017, 12:32:45 AM
Coinbase recently questioned the origin of a decently small BTC payment I received to a Coinbase address, citing that they're a regulated service. XAPO has all the benefits Coinbase's wallet has plus no regulatory hassle or worrisome ToS restricting gambling, tumbling ETC.

If you're after an online, no fee, 2FA wallet just use XAPO. It allows for more financial freeome but is still not nearly as close to the freedom a wallet installed in one's own computer can offer.
