3481  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Problem with blockchain.com (I not receive anymore authorization email) on: March 20, 2021, 04:49:29 PM
Great, feel free to email me direct LoyceV if you ever find a pressing Blockchain.com related issue appear on the forum and you think we should log in and take a look.

Hopefully in the near future we will have ringfenced resource specifically for offering support on social and forum platforms like this.

Until then, you can reach me any time via email.

Consider hiring someone for this job rather than doing it with the help of someone for free. Blockchain.com wallet reputation is not good at all in bitcointalk but if you have a rep here to take all the cases about the issues and help them to resolve will be good idea and also can bring back the reputation.
3482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: withdrawal stuck on Binance on: March 20, 2021, 02:56:13 PM
I made a withdrawal to a bank account in euros 3 days ago using the SEPA system, but the money did not come.

My bank asks for a copy of the receipt to track the payment, but Binance support is not responding. What should I do?

They clearly mentioned 3 business day which means week days and today is Saturday that is why the fund is yet to arrive and in my opinion I guess you will receive the funds on Monday and next time you can opt for SEPA instant which is also having the same fee.
3483  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Film Festival on: March 20, 2021, 08:58:58 AM
But, actually how many of the films were made related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Lot of new films are using the name or signboards but its not actually creating any awareness or anything. Only documentary movies are available or atleast that is what I had seen about cryptos until now.
3484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoiding banking challenges (how do you buy crypto?) on: March 20, 2021, 05:34:56 AM
I'm in the UK.  Buying crypto isn't banned, however trading is.  I
You are the owner of the money and I don't know why you have to bend to the bank policies since you are from the UK. Why do you change bank just as Welsh said cause I read that Barclay, Natwest, SCB, RBS, TSB supported crypto related payment.
You can also also open Revolut account if you don't want leave the bank though.
The ban was brought in via our FCA:

https://www.fca.org.uk/news/press-releases/fca-bans-sale-crypto-derivatives-retail-consumers

To be fair to my bank, I've not yet tried to move money to a broker or any other route that might suggest 'this customer is buying crypto' so I can't comment yet as to whether they would block my account.  However I'd rather find legitimate ways to avoid even highlighting this to them.
Its just your bank policy maybe so they started to block even if its legitimate but you are saying they are uet to ban but still want to continue with then which is so weird.
3485  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: March 19, 2021, 07:51:04 PM
Hello. I see different platform like nexo, blockifi, etc... that can borrow you crypto or stablecoin. I'm here to ask if you have a strategy for example you borrow btc with an interest rate of 6% and then you use it on defi with 8% APR. Thanks for helpful. Cool Cool
Investing on BTC with 8% interest may sounds good but you are talking about a defi which can become a scam project in any time. It is better to take fiat loan and invest it on BTC which is pretty less risky compared to your idea.
3486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying 1 BTC is ‘like owning 60 cars? on: March 19, 2021, 04:39:34 PM
I am willing to pay him 1BTC and please ask him to buy me  60 cars or atleast 60 cars which are in running condition. The comparision itself is stupid thing so just avoid those stupid people's statement like a plague. Maybe in future we can own 60 cars by simply paying 1 BTC until that keep on HODLing.
3487  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange with lowest fees to sell BTC on: March 19, 2021, 02:30:06 PM
According to https://www.kraken.com/features/fee-schedule, that 1.5% is for their instant trade services. If you use the spot trading platform, the fee is lower than that (if I understood it correctly). Most exchanges do this btw, you pay a premium if you use any instant trade services since it doesn't go to the order book, which is probably good for a trade with a huge volume.

You still need to count the withdrawal fee though. Most fiat withdrawal fee is quite "high: btw. Can't be helped since you're dealing with fiat.

I'll need to figure out what a spot trading platform is. Yes, I'm totally clueless. This is the first time I sell BTC for FIAT. Thanks for the tip.

Spot trading platform is the traditional trading platform where you can create your order at your desired price when the price match with someone's buying order the order will be executed then you can transfer the funds to you wallet or to bank.

Binance itself a spot trading platform where you can trade at the lowest possible fee which is 0.1 and you also will get further discounts on the fee when you are having BNB in your exchange's wallet.
3488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit is required? on: March 19, 2021, 12:11:53 PM
What kind of post gives good merit? Huh
Anything that convince someone to read your post can get you merit(s), in this thread OG convinced so gave you merit. But in general people say make quality post to get some merits so I do suggest the same. Cheesy
3489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Questions regarding signature campaigns/managers on: March 19, 2021, 09:37:26 AM
For a signature campaign manager, they hold the funds, and manage participants? Any recommendations for one?

For most of the campaigns, the manager itself holding the funds or they will use escrow as well on certain cases. I you want to accept lower rank level members of bitcointalk then its your wish but only member rank and above is having signature with clickable links so anything below is waste of time.
3490  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gokumarket withdrawal problem, scam? on: March 18, 2021, 06:18:16 PM
Sorry to say thing but you need to accept that you are scammed because the exchange itself is scam.

First time heard about the Gokumarket exchange.
For me its like I had seen somehwere so used google search with bitcointalk keyword then ended up in this thread Be careful with the Gokumarket exchange where our community members clearly exposed that it is an complete scam exchange and connected with the dascoin team which also a scam project.

"but we have a feeling as deep as love for terrible things and darkness, deception and lies are just a terrible test."

Found this under his profile which shows that he is in some sort of personal issues, so needed a break from everything (just my guess though).
It just sounds like a hopeful, positive-outlook quote and might be just that and nothing more.

Exactly, when we are having difficult time we try to be positive as much as we can or atleast that is how my mindset will be.

By the way is there any way to find when he added such kind of quote in his profile?

User: furylmz (currently on the Bitvest campaign spreadsheet)

archive: https://archive.ph/SCZVV

FYI, this user was banned, so he is no more available on bitcointalk to wear any signatures that is why the signature were removed, anyway great catch man. Wink
3494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoiding banking challenges (how do you buy crypto?) on: March 18, 2021, 06:37:27 AM
what method do you use for your outgoing and incoming crypto transactions?

Bisq  Smiley

It is a pretty perfect solution for "small" transactions, deals are secured by an inbuilt escrow. Everyone is anonymous and there is a reputation system too.

You can use fiat bank transfers with strangers or even trade alt coins for bitcoin with people.

https://bisq.wiki/Main_Page

Downside of Bisq is security deposit which maybe higher but the minimum amount could be 15% of the total trade volume so its actually perfect for bigger trades not for someone who trades in few hundreds or less than hundred dollars too often.
3495  Other / Meta / Re: Effect Of Plagiarism In Forum. on: March 18, 2021, 03:24:36 AM
What is the purpose of copy paste someone else work and claiming that your has no real benefits and its like a cheating that is why bitcointalk gives permaban when someone found involved in plagiarism. But as long as they are copying and adding their own view about the article they wanted to share and also leaving the source link is acceptable and not punishable.
3496  Other / Meta / Re: 🔴 Problem with an inappropriate attitude (racism) on Bitcointalk on: March 17, 2021, 05:44:24 PM
Actually, you can also take it as the user is referring the profile created for the project is fake because most of the projects works in that way but only the user who commented on that can give on what context he posted a comment like that.
3497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where the F*%^ did my BTC go? on: March 17, 2021, 04:10:03 PM
@findingnemo, I remember who refunded the transaction and they are also trying to help; with no luck thus far.
After looking at your transaction then it certainly going into an exchange wallet but can't be able to find the actual name because not all the addresses are revealed by the exchange to public. But you can count the number of reputed exchanges available and try to login with all of them and let's see your luck?!
3498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where the F*%^ did my BTC go? on: March 17, 2021, 02:59:39 PM
Hi all.  I recently received a BTC refund and I've NO idea where it is.  I've signed up for so many exchanges but as I'm an American living in Ireland, I usually have to delete my account.  Is there any way to see what exchange the BTC is sitting in by using the address it was refunded to?
From where you actually received BTC? Refund from where?

Do you remember anything?

Did you ever heard the wallet coinbase which is also exchange so my guess is just try to login to coinbase with the mail you remember and lets see is there anything left.
3499  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xbet Luring out non-crypto gamblers on: March 17, 2021, 12:59:06 PM
Money speaks louder than words in the modern world so the user need to be careful with the people who they are trusting. Most of the YouTube content creators will ignore such offers because it can even take down their channel if more people become victims and reported the contents of the channel.
3500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: -Newbies- watch out for these on: March 17, 2021, 11:56:35 AM
Scammers are way ahead than what we think, they started to create the fake clone sites to get the login credentials and fake wallets to steal funds rom people, these video concepts are very old but still people are falling for it quite annoying because its easier to know that those kind of doubling offers are completely fake but still people tends to send money and waiting forever for their double rewards.
Well, they might think they were in advance but with the same scam tactics repeated everywhere, I think most newbies have a slight understanding about it although they just need enough time to do their own research and understand the situation. But of course, if the person is illiterate in computer and techy stuff they might be the first person to get scammed first.

It's always do your own research is the best way to avoid an easy money offer that you think it's kind of suspicious when any normal person wouldn't do with you. Just a little use of common sense and guts will tell you exactly what is happening.
I can say that more than 90% people who got scammer are well literate but when the scammer induce the greed they lose their mind and simply go for it without any second opinion so they are well educated doesn't mean they are knowledgeable it is something can be dealt with the experience.
