One of the major mistake people around the world are making is that majority of people focus only on the Presidential office and ignore others government posts like the gover hnor, etc. However, having a good government also don't have to do with the President and the governor alone either because we also have a situation where people also focus on these two office only. Whereas the people that will elect to Senate are also important. An example is Sen Bernie Sanders who is known as the person who has done a lot to help railway workers, reduce the price of pharmaceuticals drug, etc.
Although, we have some areas where the constitutional laws are not in favor of the people and will need amendment but if people elect the right people in the houses they will do what will favor

If Sanders had pushed railways into making their railroad safe, people wouldn't be dying right now in East Palestine, Ohio, from the rail spill.

If pharmaceuticals were increased in price until people couldn't afford them, a whole lot more people would live a lot longer.

Wake up. Sanders and most of government are screwing you in ways that look like they are good, but really are killing you.

Imagine how much your country and "most powerful" army needs to suck when your 5 day war takes a over a year and took lives of nearly 200k of your soldiers.
At the same time whole world hates you and lots of them are not planning to go "back to normal" even when Putin dies and war is over.

And only people defending your victories are dictators and deranged and mentally challenged forum trolls.

It's sort of sad and funny how some western trolls in are totally unaware of their privileges of free speech and they are using that freedom to praise dictators who take that freedom away from their own citizens.

I don't know whether you guys know most of the interviews from Putin that are available on Youtube. I find it impressive over and over again how he can blatantly lie, watching straight into the eyes of the interviewer with the most preposterous statements one can imagine.

I just recently saw the interview where he was asked about the commercial flight of Ryanair being forced to land by fighting jets from Belarus, when the journalist Roman Protasevich was immediately captivated with his girlfriend right after the forced landing. Protasevic was then tortured in an extremely awful way, his face was smashed and then heavily made-up and put in front of a camera. There he gave an interview that he regrets everything and made mistakes.

Asked what Putin thinks about it, he answered that as far as he knows the plane wasn't forced to land, it requested an unplanned emergency stop because it was suspected they had a bomb on board or something. The landing had nothing to do with politics, it was only for the safety of the passengers. Cheesy

The stories he sometimes tells are so absurd that I find myself shaking my head and smiling desperately because there are people who believe those stories.

The stuff he talks about Ukraine would actually be hilarious if there was no war. The war is just too serious.

And finally I get why the propaganda worked for Hitler. If there is only a single radio channel and state controlled media, it is difficult to inform yourself otherwise. But the Russians can't fully restrict the Internet, can they? Technically, aren't the several ways to circumvent access blockings and such? He can't prevent every single VPN from working or how is that possible? Anyway, it is devastating to see how much support he gets from his people. I know that he puts them into prison, kills them, tortures them and whatever else he enjoys. But so many survey results are still deeply concerning. That is one thing I don't understand. Is all of that fake or is the majority of people in Russia still backing him because he tells them that German nazi tanks are on their way towards Moscow?

Putin doesn't lie all of the time. Neither does Biden.  But Biden lies a whole lot more.

ONS confirms 92% of 2022 COVID deaths are among fully vaccinated population

The United Kingdom’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) has confirmed that the fully vaccinated population accounted for 92 percent of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths in 2022.

“In this article, you’ll see why the CDC will never release this data and why the mainstream press is never ever going to ask to see the data; because it would reveal they lied to people and killed over 500,000 Americans by recommending they take an unsafe ‘vaccine,'” he said.

Maybe marriage is about sex, kids and cheaper living.

I mean, if you get married for sex and that's all, great. You don't even have to live in the same apartment or house.

But if you want to live in the same house for money savings, great. Have your own separate rooms, and a special room for love making... unless you really want to share the same room.

If there is any chance at all that kids will come along, talk about it ahead of time. And write up an agreement as to who does what in the event you get some kids. Make it legally binding so that there are no questions later.

I mean, you don't have to share your ideals in marriage, right? Just your bodies... and the kids of course, right?

Nigeria Electoral voting system basically the body (INEC) is so currept that they will tend Tamper, currupt any transparent voting system that is introduced, look at the B-VAS for example,  upon all the promise made by INEC, on the election they still failed in allowing Ad-hoc staffs upload results directly to their server.

Talking about transmitting of elections using Blockchain, Currently there is a ban on crypto transaction in Nigeria and I think Nigeria will be the very last country to adopt such transparent system due to their level of curruption and slowness in the adoption of new evolving technology.

Everybody who wants Internet and World Wide Web freedom needs to consider NOSTR. The only way to block NOSTR is to shut down the Internet. It could be used to implement a corruption-proof voting operation.

What is NOSTR? It's a super-basic form of social media. And all kinds of applications can be built on it. This means that cryptocurrencies can bypass government censors. The only way government can stop NOSTR is to shut down the Internet.

NOSTR is in its beginning stages. Not many platforms are built on it, yet. Those of you who are developers should start now.

I do not know how they can be left alone while they live within society. Societies need laws that regulate the relations between individuals and also between individuals and society as a whole, otherwise chaos will prevail.

Of course, I do not support governments and I know that they are corrupt and thieves, but my point is that a civil society in the modern era cannot live as our ancestors lived in ancient times. At that time, life was simple and there were no complications, so there was no need for governments. Now, the situation is very complicated and different.
No law will be sufficient for a society who accepts secret societies to exist within. This January 6th nonsense highlights exactly what's wrong with the left vs right bullshit.  It's very obvious the left turned away additional security and the security that was there was ordered to fall back and let the protesters in.  It's also obvious that the FBI and antifa were the ones that were riling the crowd up and pushing them into the building.  Sure, the right wingers talking about stopping the results were bat shit crazy, but taking advantage of crazy people to create some invasion talking points is honestly worse than the mentally ill people who thought that storming government buildings was a good idea.  It's all such a joke.  I can't believe anyone gives a shit about this other than to find out why it was allowed to happen.

What do you make of Rupert Murdoch admitting Fox ordered the network to keep lying to the public because he feared losing his viewers to more right-wing media outlets like Newsmax? He said it was all about the "green".

That to me is outrageous, the legacy media in the USA has unparalleled power and influence and they have been shown to be very dishonest and corrupt.

I was actually a big fan of Tucker Carlson and this makes me view him in a completely different light. They are all full of sh*t.

The important part in the lies is, accidental lies vs. intentional lies.

Anybody can tell a lie by mistake. When he sees his mistake, the honest thing to do is own up to it, and start telling the truth. Those who are intentionally lying won't change except to save their own skin.

The other side of it is, in something as big as what goes on in government, the media, and the medical, it's often difficult to determine what the truth really is. This means that one can't always judge who the liar is, to say nothing about if the lies are accidental or intentional.

If you look at history, properly, you will see that the Russians originally came from Kyiv. But that is irrelevant, because we are not in the middle ages nor under the Napoleonic empire nor in Stalin's regime (not yet anyaway). The independence of a country is based on the will of the people who live in there. It is quite evident that a majority of Ukrainians would rather manage their own business instead of letting Adolf Putin manage them for the benefit of the Kleptocrats of Moscow and St Petersbourgh.

Again, you seem not to need any justification to make allegations. Anything goes, anything is good just because you say it and some "media" out there says so. I guess all your posts here are just to feed the algorithm, not really intended for human consumption.

Do you really think that your biased view of history is the proper one?

Russia and Ukraine are a mixture of peoples who are very similar in mental and physical makeup. Their ideologies are similar. Here is the crux of the problem between Ukraine and Russia.

Outside forces of the US and Nato (not the people of those countries) have infiltrated the Ukraine government, to use Ukraine to take over Russia, because they want Russian land and resources and raw materials. The people of all those countries (US, Nato, Ukraine, Russia) don't want war. Those that say they do have been "brainwashed" by the forces of government.

Oust Zelensky out of government, and replace him with a non-warmonger leader, and you will get peace. Because Zelensky has attempted to harm Russia, it might take a little while for the peace to settle in. But it will come... if Ukraine only stops trying to take Russia over... at the behest of the US and Nato.

This is exactly why the US was founded as a republic rather than a democracy... even though the standard government in DC is a democracy.

How is the US a republic? By the way that Amendments 6 and 7 in the Bill of Rights allow for a jury in any contention. Any US law can be neutralized by a 12-person jury. But the people need to bring the case to court when they have been harmed by government, or when they don't like a particular law or operation of government. And they need to bring it to court in the right way.

So we see. It is the banking industry that is behind money supplies to Ukraine. And all this is doing is devaluing US money  around the world.

The people of America and other countries are the ones being hurt through this action on the part of the banking system. Some of the people support Ukraine and don't mind being hurt. Others don't support Ukraine, and maybe not the banking system (willingly). Most don't even realize what is happening, even though they realize that something is not right.

Time for Americans to get out from under the control of the banks, and use some other money (like Bitcoin?) that is not bank controlled. This will make bank money worthless, and the whole banking industry will fail, right along with Ukraine.

https://www.infowars.com/posts/treasury-sec-yellen-meets-zelensky-in-ukraine-as-u-s-commits-10-billion-more-to-conflict/
Yellen met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev to signal Biden's continued support for Ukraine "for as long as it takes," the same vague talking point used by Biden officials numerous times.

"I bring to Kyiv a clear message from President Biden and the American people: We will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes," Yellen said.

"As you have said, our support is not 'charity,'" Yellen told Zelenskyy. "It's an 'investment in global security and democracy.'"

Yellen announced on Friday that the U.S. would commit another $10 billion to Ukraine, not for military purposes, but to assist its budget and energy costs.

"Just as your life is a part of the history of Ukraine – I believe that Ukraine is a central part of the history of the free world. And you are writing our history right now," Yellen said. "As you do, I hope you know this: America stands with you in this fight for freedom. And we will be by your side to help you rebuild."

Though Yellen said Friday that the U.S. sent $50 billion to Ukraine since the start of the conflict, but the true figure is over double that at $100 billion.

The Covid Lab Leak is a Scandal of Media and Government Censorship

http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2023/february/28/the-covid-lab-leak-is-a-scandal-of-media-and-government-censorship/
This has led to another media "my bad" moment where news outlets are shrugging that the theory may not be a conspiracy or racist theory after all. As usual, there is little attention to the experts who were shredded for raising the theory or the reporters who insisted that this was a debunked conspiracy theory.

Here is the column:

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Energy Department has concluded that the COVID pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak.

The conclusion is reportedly based on a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress. Many will be exploring why the scientific evidence of a lab leak was so slow to emerge from intelligence agencies.

However, for my part, the most alarming aspect was the censorship, not the science.

There will continue to be a debate over the origins of COVID-19, but now there will be a debate.

For years, the media and government allied to treat anyone raising a lab theory as one of three possibilities: conspiracy theorist or racists or racist conspiracy theorists.

3496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bill Introduced To Ban Fed From Issuing CBDC on: March 01, 2023, 05:16:52 PM

FED solves everything by printing money so why would someone prevent issuing CBDC. With CBDC, printing is much easy, it's just digitally adding zeros. Isn't life much easier when the government prints money than not?

If the government does the same with the Nigerian government by deeming a $100 or $20 bill, people will be forced to use the CBDC wallet.

If this is the case in the US, why not get rid of the FED, and let the US Treasury print the money? Why pay for FED people and the owners of the FED, when the US could cut out this waste by printing the money themselves? Besides, then there wouldn't be any reason for the IRS tax.

The FED is a method to screw the people out of their money/labor.

Cool

The treasury is responsible for the physical printing of U.S. currency but with how banking works now the fed can just digitally transfer credits to whatever accounts they need. The oversight is completely political and of course it doesn't help when currency and digital credits can be generated out of thin air.

Even if you dissolve the agencies, as long as USD can be created without repercussion then the Congress will continue to spend money that isn't there.

Perhaps the fed isn't the issue, the politicians are.

Politicians are definitely an issue. But if the FED was gone, and the US Treasury were in control, there would be a much easier way for people to direct money affairs by getting their representatives to put an honest Treasury Secretary in place. Below is the real issue.

The Constitution allows for only gold and silver to be made into money. If you stretch this, you can issue gold and silver backed paper. But the problem with gold and silver as money is that there isn'e enough of it to maintain money with a growing population... especially considering the industrial uses of gold and silver.

The FED idea was used by government because it is based on a whole different idea. Government is allowed to contract with outside, private companies. And these companies don't have limitations on using only gold and silver. So, now we have fiat money that can be expanded across unlimited population size.

The problem with the FED idea is that the FED is loaning money into existence, and is collecting double in return for the money - not including the extra amount they get from interest on the loans. Half of this double loan repayment is going directly into FED owners private coffers. It gives the private owners money to manipulate the world, provided they don't push enough of it onto the market to inflate it beyond what the people can bear.

The point is that we are giving the world to the owners of the FED little by little, simply by using FED fiat money. They owe us the money back. So, they are trying to move the money system into CBDC to greatly confuse the fact that they owe us countless $trillions, and to maintain their control of money into the future.

The answer is to get rid of the FED, and to take back the money FED owners have stolen from us, militarily if no other way.

Why not, blockchain isn't meant for bitcoin alone, other companies and organizations including government can make use of blockchain for their secured means of storage that is immutable and decentralized, we already have many brands names hat have their original products listed on the blockchain, services and commodities with their respective prices as well, they uses blockchain because they believed it's a technology that cannot accept any form of alterations on the data it comprises.

Good idea. Many have expressed this before. The problem is that the voting machines are interfered with through the Internet. And this is done on purpose by governing officials who set up the technical part of the election.

What this means is that the connections between the voting machines and the election control center are the problem. The vote by any citizen can be diverted from going to the control center, and replaced by an impulse that looks like the vote but isn't. The whole control center could be corrupted to make it look like a good vote.

In the US, the voting machines are open to hacking and corruption because they are on the Internet. This hacking was part of the way that Trump and Kari Lake lost their elections. However, blockchain would be a start, and would make it more difficult for crooks to hack elections.

The real thing that needs to be done is to get the corrupt election people out of there, and replace them with honest people. What Stalin said still holds true, "The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything."

After The Election, What Next?

After the election is  important. But laying the groundwork for 'after' should be done before, right?

People vote for a candidate because they like what he said, his platform. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't vote for him. Note that I am talking about real voting here, not about something like forcing only one candidate to be running, which is some kind of dictatorship behind the scenes.

What should people do before the election? Make the platform a candidate is running on to be a literal contract between the people and the candidate. Then, if the candidate is elected, he has to do what he said in his platform/contract, or a penalty. What penalty? Death/execution. Let me say it again.

The candidates' platforms are contracts to do the things the candidates say in their platforms. If they win, and don't do the things written in the contract in a time specified in the contract... death/execution.

Now, there might be exceptions, like life in prison with hard labor, if the newly elected person can't complete his contract on time because of outside interference. The details of how to handle the contract need to be worked out by the people.

This needs to be enacted into law. It will eliminate much of the election 'sinner' from doing things other than what the people voted him in for.

Again, you are not. You are trying to make it look like that is a "balanced" position which is not. Ukraine did not amass troops in the RF border, did not send a column of tanks to Moscow, did not try to take land away from the Russian Federation. "standing with the people" is an empty phrase to launder the attack of the RF on Ukraine.#

Your links are meaningless (apart for leading to a pay-wall for data). Your reference to drinking in Mariupol,...proof please?

When you look at history, Russia and Ukraine have been friends at times and enemies at times. And the borders between them changed many times over hundreds of years.

Ukraine amassed troops on the Donbas border... and started killing and harming both Ukrainian people and Russian people who were associated with them. There was a Ukraine military build-up on the border about a week before Russia started its police action.

Russia simply intervened to stop this stupid Ukrainian harming of its own citizens, and Russian people who were living in the Donbas area for decades. This Ukrainian almost-massacre didn't happen until the US and Nato started getting into the governmental affairs of Ukraine.

So, let's see some details that clearly justify the Ukraine government's Donbas attack. Just because the Donbas was considered to be part of Ukraine isn't enough. Governments don't start attacking their own country for nothing. Explain to us clearly... why... with some details about what the people of Donbas were doing to harm Ukraine.

If you can't, standing with the Ukraine government ISN'T standing with Ukraine. And maybe not even if you can. It's like standing with Hitler or Stalin, who both killed their own people.

----------
[This talk was the Arthur M. Krolman Lecture at the 30th Anniversary Supporters Summit of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, Callaway Gardens, Georgia, on October 26, 2012. Click here to watch the video of this talk.]

Many people are misled by formalities. They assume, for example, that the United States went to war against Germany and Japan only after its declarations of war against these nations in December 1941. In truth, the United States had been at war for a long time before making these declarations. Its war making took a variety of forms. For example, the U.S. navy conducted "shoot [Germans] on sight" convoys — convoys that might include British ships — in the North Atlantic along the greater part the shipping route from the United States to Great Britain, even though German U-boats had orders to refrain (and did refrain) from initiating attacks on U.S. shipping. The United States and Great Britain entered into arrangements to pool intelligence, combine weapons development, test military equipment jointly, and undertake other forms of war-related cooperation. The U.S. military actively cooperated with the British military in combat operations against the Germans, for example, by alerting the British navy of aerial or marine sightings of German submarines, which the British then attacked. The U.S. government undertook in countless ways to provide military and other supplies and assistance to the British, the French, and the Soviets, who were fighting the Germans. The U.S. government also provided military and other supplies and assistance, including warplanes and pilots, to the Chinese, who were at war with Japan.1 The U.S. military actively engaged in planning with the British, the British Commonwealth countries, and the Dutch East Indies for future combined combat operations against Japan. Most important, the U.S. government engaged in a series of increasingly stringent economic warfare measures that pushed the Japanese into a predicament that U.S. authorities well understood would probably provoke them to attack U.S. territories and forces in the Pacific region in a quest to secure essential raw materials that the Americans, British, and Dutch (government in exile) had embargoed.2
