Hi guy's could anyone show me what I'm doing wrong? I'm running a 6950 on windows 7. I made a bat file as below and get nothing but rejects
sgminer --pool-algorithm bitblockold -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:6002 -u xxx -p xxx --thread-concurrency 4032
I also tried this and a few other ways I either get 100% rejects or it just crash's instantly?
--gpu-platform 1timeout /t 10
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
sgminer --pool-algorithm bitblockold -I 19 --auto-gpu --auto-fan --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:6002 -u xxx -p xxx
I'd really appreciate some help to get my measly 1.3 m/h's on your coin ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Did you try the new drivers we spoke about in the IRC ? sorry I wasn't in IRC, I saw some mentions of 14.6 or something? are they amd drivers for the gpu? can I find them by doing a search for new drivers in the amd catalyst (I've never updated drivers on my video card before) After lots of messing around I've just managed to get my 6990 running @ 2.54 mh/s which isn't great but will do. I was also getting crashes and hw errors. To fix I had to remove new 14.6 amd drivers and re-install older 13.12 version. The link to the Windows 7/8 64 bit version is here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=13.12#amd-catalyst-packagesI have looked for the 32 bit version just in case you are running that but cant find it on the amd site. The 32 bit file is called 13-12_win7_win8_32_dd_ccc_whql.exe its available from other download sites if you need it via google search, try and find a reputable site to download from ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Also my .bat file is this: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:6002 --pool-algorithm bitblockold --name BBL -u ***** -p ***** -I 18 -w 64 -g 2 Hope that helps ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) EDIT: Sorry forgot to say this is on Windows 7 32 bit.

Has anyone got a Radeon 69 series to run using this software? Trying to get a 6990 to work but just get hardware errors.
If not can anyone recommend any x15 software that will work?
Did u use bitblockold? Thanks, yes I did still no luck. Here's my .bat file perhaps I've got it wrong: COLOR 0A setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:6002 --pool-algorithm bitblockold --name BBL -u *** -p *** --gpu-platform 0 -I 12 -g 1 -w 256

scamcoin!
Firecoin's clone!!!
lol talking about clone, everything is a clone here but this one is cloned so bad, it even compiles to the name "Firecoin" ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) can you set a pool for this? or too busy? I dont want to add a pool for every shitcoin.. This one is - in my opinion - DOA .. But someone will surely jump in and create a pool for it, wait a few minutes. Good for you I hope other pool operators and exchanges take a stand and do the same. Coins like this with so little effort and nothing to offer don't deserve pools or exchanges. The only purpose of this coin is for the Dev to dump as soon as an exchange is available.

I have downloaded the cpu miner and tried running it on both 32 and 64 bit windows 7 pc's on suprnova pool using .bat file command line 'minerd -a bitblock -o stratum+tcp://bbl.suprnova.cc:3663 -u x -p x -t 3' as shown on pool getting started guide and every time the miner wont start. I've tried different thread settings and no thread setting and still the same.
Can anyone please tell me correct .bat command line.
Try start it with this in the bat to see if it runs and gives you a hashrate: minerd -a bitblock --benchmark Pause If it still won't run, make sure the miner id not being block by your firewall. Also check the file properties to see if Windows is blocking the file. I know Windows 8.1 will keep some wallets and miners from running until you unblock them. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYwxPOpF.jpg&t=663&c=89jM9cWhIVMuKw) Thank you very much that's done it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

This is the second time I ask you. How much is your fee on this miner? It's open source like any other sgminer so there's no fee, sir ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) God damn people, don't be sorry sacks of shit when it comes to this. Dude wraps up Windows binaries for a coin algorithm that had to be CPU mined only 48 hours ago, you get a huge increase on hashrate with a GPU and you still fucking complain about the possibility of a small fee? Even when the guy doesn't have one, just left a pool in the sample .conf file in case you were too stupid to figure your own out? And then you go to the grocery store and happily swipe your card which includes 3% fees. Shut the fuck up and just mine dudes. Or find a real problem, go buy some crack and smoke it or something if you want an immediate fucking reward with "no fees." +1

Looks like someone selling thier monero - is that to do with the DDOS ?
no doubt. bittrex is crashing hard a bit as well .... i'm holding tho, i don't care if i lose a few $ overnight, it will bouce back! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Really ? A coin would go down in price because of a DDOS ? I don't understand since it is only the pools that are affected That's what not they want, the ddos'ers want to deny access to pools to give them access to mining themselves more coins. Stupid cunts just driving more to solo which they cant control ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Pools have ruined most coins like it or not especially multi-pools. Go back a few years that'll do me ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) How so ? Being a newcomer, I thought pools were about decreasing the variance... He talks about multi-pools. It doesn't exist on Monero (yet). A multi-pool mine altcoins and dump them automatically to only pay Bitcoins. Did I say there was a monero multi-pool? No, I said multi-pools were killing coins.... Sorry to disagree with you but I stand by what I said....
