So who is picking up opponents here? The challenger or the boxing body? At some point, we see boxers challenging others to catch with the rankings.
During negotiations, means no other name involved in the process?
It's the boxing body that order the champion to fight the number 1 in their ranking, in this case, it's IBF who ordered the fight to happen and if Lopez will not heed IBF's call, then this sanctioning body will strip Lopez of it's championship belt. All boxing body do this as promoters of the fight will have to pay the sanctioning fee  . This is what i have understand on that mandatory defense, correct me if i'm wrong. |

Ohh, this is bad news. Anyway, i think that PBC will look for a replacement as i think Team Broner can't afford to postponed this fight to a later date as their boxer is already out in boxing for too long, if he loses he might blame ring rust for it lol. Regis Prograis would be a fine replacement as the two have bad blood in them. |

After watching the last fight of Garcia, I started to follow this young man and search the history of Garcia and that's an impressive record honestly. He's a confident boxer and that's why he keeps on challenging and keeps on building his name strongly. This is gonna be a hard match for Garcia because Davis is not an easy opponent despite of his records, looks like Garcia really wants to become the king of boxer soon.
Fighting Davis at this stage of his career is difficult indeed. He won his last fight against Campbell who is way below the level of Davis in terms of talent and yet he exposed the weakness of Garcia and that might be used against him if this fight will push through. Garcia has talent, no one will argue with that but being on the top of his division, he need to be patient and follow the advise of his team. We might see another Amir Khan if he i always in a hurry . |

So we can assume that Manuel is the top paying player in the team, right? If Alaska is for sale, I hope it will not be bought by the SMC or the Pangilinan group because it will not make fans happy. Kambosos is the former sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao and he is a rugged fighter with a good knock out power, he is a good boxer but I don;t think he is good enough for Lopez, Lopez after beating Loma has become an elite boxer, I don't think the home crowd will annoy him and beat Kambosos, I'm on Lopez here he is in a prime of his boxing career.
Though he beat Loma, i think Lopez is young in terms of the number of fights and i can't consider him in his prime. With that being said, i will go for Kambosos as i'm sure the odds would be tempting to bet for him. Quality of opponents is still not a factor for me as the number of fights Lopez has had is still not that much. On that fight with Loma, i could say that he is good but the factor that made him won that fight was the inability of Loma to deliver what have had expected on him by the judges. |

Vic Manuel wants out of AlaskaVIC Manuel, a lateblooming forward from a small school who rose to become one of the premier big men in the PBA, feels his stay with Alaska is at an end.
On Friday, Manuel said he has asked his agent, Danny Espiritu, to explore all possible options after his contract with the Aces expired at the end of the year. Is this fight going to be a certainty this year or did @suzanne5223 only speculate that this would happen this year? The best of the best in boxing usually avoid each other or take the negotitations very long similar to Floyd versus Pacman.
Another fight that should be given to the fans is Terrence Crawford versus Errol Spence.
This is just pure speculation as there is no contract yet and people around Team Garcia admits that their fighter is not yet ready for this fight. Haney vs Garcia is close to reality as WBC ordered Haney to defend his belt against Garcia as the latter is now the mandatory on that belt. |

I definitely agree on this. @OP, let's just assume na ang Lokal board natin ay parang paaralan na kailangan nating pumasok araw-araw kahit tinatamad tayo. Sa pagpasok natin araw-araw, for sure may matutunan tayo dito at yong merit ay kusang aagos yan. Hope you get what i mean. Yong kalagayan ng merit source natin dito sa lokal ay very fragile. Gustohin man niya na magpaulan ng merit pero wala naman siyang post na pwede mapadalhan at kung pabalik-balik na account ang bibigyan nya ng merit, questionable din yon. they don't pressure themselves a lot and they just have to play like they are having fun, also coach Yeng for sure learn a lot in the bubble. I heard this in an interview, I think it was Jericho Cruz who said that when he was named as the best player of the game, and it really help them. I remember this one also but i've got another interpretation on that one. When NLEX had a losing streak in the bubble (which is 3 or 4 games i think) coach Yeng told his boys to not pressure themselves as coach Yeng already knew that that they are already in the brink of elimination and he understand that because they only have a few days of practicing together due to the pandemic. Coach Yeng loves hardworking guys and don't even care who you are and what is your name. As long as you bare the scolding and work hard, players will have future under his watch. He is making a "nobody" to somebody in the PBA, JR Quinahan, Lurdy Tugady, Cyrus Baguio to name a few. |

Nakuha mo na ba yong card mo kabayan? It's almost a week now na pinadalhan nila ako ng message na "we will advise you within the next 72 hours regarding the specific date of delivery to your current address" pero hindi ko pa rin natanggap yong debit card ko. Wala pa.. Nagtaka nga ako bakit wala pa now pero yung text nila klaro naman.. buti sana kung may tracking number tayo para malaman natin kung asan na ang card natin, di ko rin alam kung anong courier mag deliver ng card. Yong card ko, though hindi ko pa natanggap physically but it is already considered "delivered". Yong delivery, pumunta sa bahay namin kanina kasi may work ako at hindi kami napang-abot. Tinawagan ko siya at sabi niya bukas nalang ng umaga nya i-deliver. |
