3481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How will AMD Vega affect GPU mining? on: July 27, 2017, 10:01:02 AM
I all comes down to price , availability and power usage , yeah the hash rate and mods by miner devs are important

but no one knows what the true combination of thosw three factors are, for now the smart money is sticking with nvidia
3482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Manual mining possible??? on: July 26, 2017, 09:22:50 AM
What is manualy mining?? With shovel or? Smiley

Or manually calculating SHA256 with pencil and paper?  Cheesy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3dqhixzGVo

Really!!!!is it possible with paper and pencil???

har har har I think ive heard it all, hope u have alot of paper😂😂😂
3483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Group Buy - Innosillicon A5 Dashminer on: July 26, 2017, 04:51:32 AM
I lost track..

when were these units supposed to ship?

I realize deadlines can slip

but curious

thanks

Well  I saw a screen shot above that says shipping from factory on Oct 2017  and in my opinion with a 10,000 usd at stake, you will miss a lot of opportunity to gain with that amount.
Ill wait for a price drop
10k istoo much

Innosilicon miners cost too much
3485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hardware options for mining LTC on: July 25, 2017, 04:29:52 AM
MOQ 5 on the A4, unfortunately.

There WAS a group buy early on where you could order "only" 3 at a time, but I dunno if they'd honor that at this late point.

Innosilicon seems to be the only major miner maker that doesn't run it's own mining farm - probably because they are the *only* miner maker to date that already had an existing chip-making business before they got involved in cryptocurrency ASIC making (I don't count SFARDS there due to how it came into existence, though the WiiBox side of SFARDS might count the GridSeed side does not).

the cost is low for 5 thoug only 2BT around 6k, i think each L3 is 40 LTC or around 1700USD
3486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: July 24, 2017, 09:36:28 PM
A4s are cheaper 280 mhs for 1000 it seems why buy an L3+ now
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Lets say the second batch of Bitmain D3 has the same release date & price... on: July 24, 2017, 12:38:17 AM
20 to 30 if btc price stays at these levels. My aim is not only to profit but also bury baikal and pinidea for their ignorant ass attitude towards their customers.

bclcjunkie
A part of me has a lot a respect for you, I agree baikal and pinidea treat us like shit. I was going to give them 30K USD worth of orders but needless to say they have big priority customers.
I agree with you. I'm waiting for two Baikal miners for more than 3 months. I think there is no hope anymore. Good to know that Pinidea has the same approach!!
what do you mean waiting? you mean you paid and they did not ship? never heard of this
3488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 6 - Giant Plus - 2000MHS - $4000 open on: July 23, 2017, 03:58:42 PM
Im in for 4 if we can get a volume discount for 3k per unit
3489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 6 - Giant Plus - 2000MHS - $6500 or Lower on: July 23, 2017, 04:46:37 AM
Greetings all,

it has been a while since my last baikal groupbuy but the manufacturer is prepared to give us a good deal if we can come up with the numbers. 50 units will really give us some buying power. Deadline is the end of the month to build numbers.

x11 2000mhs 430w
x13 1600mhs 430w
x14 1600mhs 440w
x15 1600mhs 450w
quark 2000mhs 248w
qubit 2000mhs 280w

Price: $6500usd including shipping, we will need at least 10 units to get this discount, the more units we can get the better.

miners are available for deployment.

NOW before we get everyone jumping on saying; what about ibelink, what about A5, what about bitmain D3:

WE HAVE HEARD THIS BEFORE, BAIKALS VALUE IS OUTSIDE OF x11 MINING, and BAIKAL HAVE UNITS AVAILABLE NOW

I realise a lot of people do not want to get these miners but this thread is to allow an EASY way for customers to buy, so PM me and lets get this show on the road.

Ibelink Batch 2 will be on sale soon (wait for my thread) but once again it will be a long wait until you get your miners

6500 are you crazy? they just sent me an email offering. to sell for $4000 , 1500 is the most id pay for a grp by
3490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 23, 2017, 02:06:59 AM
Vega is ... hot. In stock it takes about 400-450W in dual, 300-350W in ETH-only mode at about 33MH/s. And it's throttling like hell. It's very good in dual mining mode, but it's too hot.

Undervolt it - DUH. I forced mine to never go above 1.025V, and she mined Sia under Linux at 1600Mhz stable! :3

yeah but what was the wattage, even a 120 mv uundervolt on an RX 580 8GB only saves 30-40 watts

250 watts for 31 eth and 1600 SIA is garbage for a FE card that costs $900

I can get 37 mhs eth and 1300 SIA out of a gtx 1080 ti for 230 watts , and its a cheaper card
3491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 22, 2017, 10:07:33 PM
Help pls !!

I have 6 RX 570 gpus connected to the PC and they all are enabled and seemed to be working fine (Windows 10).. I want to save the bios of the 5th GPU, modify and flash it with ATI Flash.. When I open ATI flash, it only lists the first 3 GPUs.. No way to scroll down to the 5th.. Sad How do i scroll down and save the bios of the 5th and flash it back? I do not want to unplug the other 5 from Mobo and do it.. It will screw up the already configured and working ones..

You should always BIOS flash cards in the primary 16x slot directly connected to the mobo, and should always be done individually before you try connect all the GPU's.

never had to do this, I flash my cards in any slot even connected to risers no problem after reboot
3492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Group Buy - Innosillicon A5 Dashminer on: July 21, 2017, 09:23:48 PM
Well, if Inno can really deliver according to specs, I see their price justification because if you are limited in power/space, the A5 would have higher density since it's only 750w compared to 1200w for D3. for the D3 to have same hash rate, it would be 750w to 2400w. That's a premium that they are trying to set. Sort of like how the smaller the laptop, the pricier it gets.

Edit: If someone can get a group buy going for 10 units and get 1 free, then that's actually about $9k a unit. I wouldn't mind buying 1 for $9k if it happens.

Inno has never delivered on thier specs , I cant see them delivering this time either either way 10k is a joke man
7k at the higest would be a decent buy but 6.5k should be rhe price.

unless the gro buy gets terms 7 to 6k ill wait for the D3 thank u
3493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Group Buy - Innosillicon A5 Dashminer on: July 20, 2017, 05:17:54 AM
Id be infor 3 or so
3494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: July 19, 2017, 09:01:22 PM
From the ETH dev meeting.... looks like there is going to be a big relief and continuity for ETH mining.... hope this happens.
My group has a 6GHs ETH farm and we are watching this development very closely....

https://themerkle.com/ethereum-developers-contemplate-delaying-difficulty-bomb-by-another-1-4-years/

ETH mining has gone into crazy ultra-madness difficultly level, next jump is expected to be up by +40% (according to BBT), if the ETH devs dont do anything about it...

Since a week, it is quite stable. Something is going to happen to surge +40% Huh

so I think if you caught by this jump up...... example: if you have a few rigs and see ethpool dashboard saying your reward in 5 days.... in the next five days.... you see the same dashboard, I am not surprised, if it says "reward in next 4 days" !

3g myslef here and i prefer ethpool since at least 10 percent of the time i get an uncle ,
I preorders a few d3s probbaly just gona sell them though, Ive had bad experince with bitmain gear

thank god i sold all my baikails , got some really salty buyers out there l feel bad for them
paying $3k for 300 mhs baikal smh

you would be better served to part out your 25 mhs farm roi or not even if you
get a 3rd of what you paid for it , then put that new $$ towards d3 or any if the othercnew asics

3495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: July 19, 2017, 05:39:18 AM
Yep it's X11 miner check Twatter for their tweets.  You have keep in mind that there is bunch of new miners. SO dont expect that 9K a month. Smiley

has to be a typo , 15,000 mhs more like it
3496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEW Baikal Miner Giant Plus (2000MH X11) on: July 19, 2017, 05:35:57 AM
well check this out 15GH x11 miner for 2699$ at bitmain
https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170718203947438V537cuy7067F
Good bailkal sucks always sold out for anyone outside of China, now we got some real competition that blows their junk out of the water

I bet bitmain is reverse engineering other ppls hardware
3497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is your local Craigslist / Kijiji flooded with GPUs ? on: July 18, 2017, 01:36:23 PM
Yeah in last 5 days there are more than 300 mining rigs for sale  while 2 weeks ago there were only few adds for few rx cards.Btw about 90% rigs for sale are amd

keep dreaming lol, prices are going back on on cryptos , so good luck with that

3499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: July 17, 2017, 07:42:59 PM
Good morning ,

I have the Powercolor RX580 8Giga (Hyn).....my question, with this cards is only max. 27,5MH/s possible to mining?

I had change a lot of things, but everytime the same value 27!

Maybe is that the best one with Powercolor?? or you have someone idea more for me??

I had flash BIOS a lot of times with different values.....nothing change!

Thanks guys for help

Greetings
Luisa

Is it a red devil/red dragon one?

Sorry....that is a RED DEVIL! and I had try all what I see in youtube for example....no more then 27 and I think the problem are the Powercolor card??

Use bios uploaded/made by anoraknophobia
https://anorak.tech/t/powercolor-rx580-red-devil-8gb-hynix/11180/22

Check hwinfo for any memory issues. Then if needed, downclock mems by 50 MHz and it should be fine.

Hello...THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Now is working with 30,4MH/s and "only" 110Watt.....i hope I can reduce to 100Watt..

Thank you for help!

Greetings
Luisa

110W  for 30Mh/s and only minig eth is a lot, if you mine dual than its ok.

that seems pretty standard to me, you have to rasie. power limit now due to the dag bug on rx cards or core to keep higher hashrates so they will use more power than they used to
3500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is your local Craigslist / Kijiji flooded with GPUs ? on: July 17, 2017, 07:38:29 PM
Hah, I noticed a flood too. Secondhand prices sometimes still higher than retail, even though they are new in stock now.

thats bc these fools paid double the price of what gpus were worth, they cant sell at retail unless they want to lose alot

fudruckers .

central nj has 11 cards 7 1070's 4 1080 's

all overpriced and not a single 1080ti.

the op is a years long debbie down poster with hundreds of downbeat posts over the years.  he always is calling for bear markets and downer news.

Op take a month off please.  I am tired of reading all your doom and gloom posts.

The rally is coming early sept.  and if you think the one in april may and june was good wait till you all see zec at 500  thats right 500 I said it here.

the 1080 ti will rule for months to come   well into 2018.

BTW it is BTC that has crashed here 3000 to 1900 is a big ass crash.  Dead weight dinosaur  and the developers are rocking the boat due to alt coin envy.

You do have to admit his threads/posts are entertaining if not anything else lol...

We were able to pick up a few 1080 Ti GPUs for $620-630 a couple months back, now it's difficult to find any for less then $700. Thankfully, we're almost finalized with what we wanted to do this summer, so we should be fine as is until either good sales happen again, or profitability bounces back up big time.

i wasnt sold on TI's but i did buy 10 of them when 107s were clsoe to 500, i figured why buy a 1070 for 500 when i can get a ti for 670

man , these things are monsters , Zcash at 700 heck 750 with good cooling which i dont have , currently they are doing 22 mhs each on that new pumped coin

basically a 470 or 480 can do 6 mhs at max at 150 watts

If i could source good 4000 watt PSU's id be buying more 1080 tis , but I just cant find a way to power more than 3-5 on one rig withoute the server PSU's and PICOs

at 200 watt a card  or min 150 if in under power them thats over 1200 watt , so 1300 watt total system ore more

Yeah Marvell1 I moved off desktop PC's to server PSUs to power my 1080Ti rigs. A DPS-2000 works like a charm and I just grab the PICOs from Deepinthemines and breakout boards from Optimizer. No complaints here with my setup other than having to either buy the new risers with 6pin power to replace my SATA ones or sidehacks setup to power the SATA risers off the server PSUs...
Ill check with optimizer and on ali express then, still need to source the 2000 watt psus, do you have a link to optimizers thread?  Ive used finsky in the past but he is constantly backlogged lately
