3481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spreadcoin Scam alert!!! on: February 05, 2015, 06:49:49 PM
Why don't you read the whitepaper.

Pools are possible but not financially viable as they can be abused.

And the block reward was decreased from 66 to 6.6 along with the block times from 10 minutes to 1 minute so the minting rate did not change.

this is a thing of beauty:

It is a thing of beauty. This coin will go to places.

Yeah. 200mhash  on the 750ti. You can solomine and wait for the jackpot. One block is 50 btc. Good luck:)

Haha, now we only need 1,677,721,600 pieces of 750 Ti to be close to a 51% attack.

What will be the mining algo plz  thx

Undetermined at this time. We will be taking feedback from the community.
SHA 256 or X11 are possibilities.

No x11 please , choose any other Asic resistant algo .......sha256 is also fine.

sha256 is a fav of mine

Along with everyone else who owns an ASIC. Conversely, miners with GPUs prefer algos like x11 and others.

K4000 is using Compute 3.0. Should work If you build yourself. My binaries are always build with compute 5.0 and 5.2.
just changing settings to compute_30,sm_30 in CUDA C/C++ -> Device -> Code Generation in VS2013 project preferences
leads to results not approved by CPU.
Not that i need it, just tried ))).

As well as trying to compile with CUDA 7.0

Any step from default config leads to not working code ... Wink

I can confirm that compiling for 3.0 doesn't work (CPU validation errors) but 3.5 is fine.

For anyone wondering about compute versions:

What do you mean by low difficulty? Does it affect solomining?

I don't have issues on filedropper with adblock but mega.co.nz have terribly slow early distribution, meaning new uploads will take a long time to download for a lot of people.

The 500 BTC ICO is for the game or the potential lawsuit that might follow?

Anyway, the moment the coins will worth something, the mobile app will be hacked.

I'm running a script that cycles through different algos on YAAMP so that in theory the pool gets me to mine the most profitable using  "-p x11,x13,x14,x15,quark,lyra2"

Does that actually grant you higher payouts at the end of the day? I'd imagine constant switching is just lagging behind what was profitable. And the more people use a script like it the worse it gets.

Edit: CPU validation errors are still there with v4.
<--- look at my stats, I'm a newbie. This is the 1st day. I will try single algos and see what difference I get, my wallet is not synced yet. I'd assume that the pool calculates what profitable and switches you to it. At the moment its X14 (alipaycoin) and quark (a mixture) no idea they really are the best, though I see many more people are on X11, going to try a few different things over the next few days and see what happens.

Sorry, welcome and good luck! Feel free to pm me if you need help.

0.1281 BTC worth of coins are being minted per day and people are actually mining this. This is hilarious.
3500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 10MHASH CCminer modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernals by SP. on: January 27, 2015, 02:57:16 PM
but quark is still very profitable compared to a lot of other algos if you are hashing with yaamp and other multi-algo site ...

#crysx

It is however it is worth noting that there isn't much volume behind the coins which shoot the price up momentarily. I'm talking about MonetaryUnit which doubled in price but only have $14 volume and Dimecoin which also only have $16 volume.
