3481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone NOT made profit in this astonishing bull run?? on: April 29, 2017, 10:31:26 AM
My belly is full of profit. I have done nothing but hodl some alts (and of course BTC). All my losses are wiped out.

Has anyone NOT made profit during this bullish 18 month boost from $8bn to over $30bn total crypto market cap??

Some say it was always going to happen, but it's still astonishing to me.
The only way anyone loses money is by shorting or not buying into the market in the current bull run!

but someone lost money here because not all can do profit, trading it's a sum zero, if few are on grene streak, other are on red, maybe one is the winner and many other small fish are the loser, but you get the point, it's not noticeable if many people lose few cent and one is winning a tons, it's like he stole the coins from them, and the story repeat itself
3482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Bitcoin, USDT, USD and EUR? on: April 29, 2017, 10:28:11 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new to this scene and started a little bit of trading with bitcoin and altcoins on Bittrex. Now I have seen that on Bittrex you can trade your Bitcoin for USDT (USD Tether I guess), but it seems that this price is volatile (https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/). So is this trustworthy? Are there other exchanges where I can trade the Bitcoin for 'real' dollars or euros? And if I want to cash out some of my Bitcoins in the future, what would be the best way for me to do this (I'm from the Netherlands)?

Many thanks in Advance!

i think it's better for you to use exchange that have very big volume for selling large quantity of bitcoin in euro or dollars, like kraken or coinbase, they are the bitcoin exchange, bittrex and poloniex are more like altcoin exchange to me, don't get me wrong you can trade there with bitcoin and real money, but they deal more with altcoin
3483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with "Lightning Network" support on: April 29, 2017, 10:25:14 AM
pretty much every segwit coin, will have lightining network, you can vertcoin and digibyte, they have segwit activated

Nice thread idea. It would be interesting if you'd add other stats such as block # of activation, block # of enforcement with links to each and prices at each time vs. now.

you can search on whattomine for that or coinmarketcap, these coins are well known by the community, very easy to find about the specifications
3484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What unknown alt coin best to mine? on: April 29, 2017, 10:24:04 AM
search for yourself, no one is stupid to share a profitable coin, maybe there are secret coins with better profit than known coins, but they are minable with a very small miners, like 1 rig? if you have a big farm you can't mine them, and what about searching on the exchange what coin could give you a better profit? there is also the ann thread for this

yeah i made profit with this last crazy increase of all the alt, all went green, how can't you not profit from it? it's impossible lol they pumped every shit coin out there, even old coin that have very small marketcap and can be mined only with a single gpu, i also see that investors still like to pump x11 and family, which is plagued by asic, i recently bought some cheap altcoin, and some of them wnet easily x3 like atomcoin, there is definitely tons of money to be made here, someone i feel dirty like i'm legal scamming other investors or something
3486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will LTC correct? on: April 28, 2017, 04:01:31 PM
I just can't imagine LTC at 50$, i would love to see it off course, but i'm not sure how this is going to happen. Sub 10$ now when everything is pointing to the sky i would say very hard. Im talking about this year, longer predictions are very expenive  Grin.

litecoin was at $50 before, it's not like it never happened, so i can't see why it can't happen now with all the excitement about segwit, i think the pump is just started, can go very high first and correct on double of the value of today, i can think of 0.02 as a new bottom when the price will begin to move forcefully, even i mae a prediction i'm not going to enter this pump and dump but i like to watch it, too rigged and unpredictable for me one wrong move and you are fucked lol
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC launching GPU miner. 8X GPU, 16XGPU, UP TO 32XGPU. on: April 28, 2017, 03:55:10 PM
LIGHTNINGASIC launching GPU miner. 8X GPU, 16XGPU, UP TO 32XGPU.
waite for our good news.
Here is some nice pics:

If I understand this correctly, this image is an Add in PCIe 16x board that you can run 8 risers to?
This is an entirely separate product from your $2000 LightningASIC 8 GPU miner correct?

If so I would be really interested in this add in card, as I am sure many of us will be. What motherboard/CPU combinations is this compatible with - do you have a compatibility list?
When will this be available to purchase? What is this going to cost? Can this be coupled with any regular risers?

Also, the 8GPU lightningasic miner, would you be willing to sell it barebones - minus the cards/PSU?

i don't think any motherboard currently can handle so many gpu without burning the 24 pin, it's a problem of maximum voltage, but i see they have their own motherboard design with the thunder that cna support 8 gpu and more
3488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gaming / mining rig on: April 28, 2017, 03:52:23 PM
Those new 270/370 chipset mobos has 1x PCIE at the first place.
If I connect GPU to it on a riser, is it going to be primary display card, even if i place second GPU in PCIE x16?

afaik the primarely is always the one on the first pcie x16 slot, so you won't get your gpu with riser as a primarely
3489  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin Punishment => 8 Hour's To transfer coin from Blockchain... on: April 28, 2017, 03:46:39 PM
I wonder what is happening in bitcoin network. 8 hour's to transfer coin from blockchain   into localbitcoin wallet.

Currently, this is happening who knows what is going to happen within the next 3-5 year's. Shocked Shocked

Thanks

did you used the correct fee? the fee is now very high maybe you used a low one and hopefully in the next years they will fix this will segwit or another solution for handle better capacity

as expected you used half of the fee, it's the reason of the delay, people always open topic and complaing about the speed of transaction, but we always discovered that they used incorrect fee
3490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 28, 2017, 10:32:03 AM
Thats a sad year, i just lost 100% of my coins in just 4 months
tried a mix of strategy, safe ways, risky, playing just a few times per day
but results are always the same
you lose in the end
i feel cheated
its unbelievable
know
why the house always win?
And you see people saying "it happens, you can not win in a long run"
why not? why i cant win in a long run?
why we never see a casino losing and closing the doors?
why 999999999% profiles of the top gamblers are negative?  Huh
 Undecided
but you know what i like? I like when the house eat the shit back
when someone manage to find a bug and make 6-7 digits over it  Cheesy
the house cheat, thats it

it's gamble man, you are bound to lose eventually, but you can be lucky at the beginnign and run away with the money, even if the house have zero edge you will lose on the long run, which sound like cheating but it's how the thing work, maybe you had just bad luck and another one like you won 12 btc instead, if the system is provably fair the house should only win the % on the edge, and the player end with a sum zero result
3491  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker Players: Promo suggestions on: April 28, 2017, 10:26:27 AM
Good day POKER PLAYERS!

As a poker player what promo/s do you want to see in a new poker website?

Promo that is a win-win for both(players and the site owner)

what i like to see is many freeroll with an actuall good reward that ancourage more newbie to come and play, new people don't like to invest in something new and unknown, give them the opportunity to play for free and win a lot, a welcome bonus is also good, like many room are doing in fiat money, they give $20 or something when you register, you can add that as a bonus for your poker room
3492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: April 28, 2017, 10:24:25 AM
yeah i searched before posting, and on reddit they don't mention that you only get the coins from the 12th of the month of may, but you get everything prior the 16th of the month, look at this https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2pjeh5/heard_about_this_clam_stuff_how_i_got_64_in/

I don't know why the particular block heights were chosen. I didn't hear about CLAM until a while after it launched.

The specific blocks at which the snapshots were taken:

   BTC block 300377 (2014-05-12 12:48:17)
   LTC block 565693 (2014-05-12 13:06:31)
  DOGE block 218556 (2014-05-12 13:09:17)

but why on reddit they are implying otherwise? i find it strange that you have only one day windows for the claiming, it make more sense if there was a range of days, well i think i'm going to throw a wallet at it and see what i can get
3493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with all the green rise of altcoin today? on: April 28, 2017, 10:22:19 AM
the liquidity in the crypto world simply exploded now, there many new investors, just look at the various ann, many new comers are investing in crypto and many don't know where to invest they throw their money blindly hoping that they can get a high return from their scamcoin that they buy
3494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Cap: an All-Time High on: April 28, 2017, 10:19:49 AM
I'm curious what is the closest equivalent of shoeshine boys in the 21st century Smiley

Yup.  These graphs look outright scary:

http://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#btc-percentage

I wonder whether:

1) BTC will soon dip under the 50% market share psychological level
2) if so, whether this will have an impact

or whether the alt coin bubble will pop soon.

Not so soon, I think there are a few months to a year of steaming on before it starts cooling down.

At that rate, bitcoin will be on the 10th position or so by then...  most major alts are growing double digits per 7 days, while bitcoin is at a few percent in 7 days.

but that is only thanks to ethereum not because of other alt, if it was not for ethereum all the alt have only a minimal marketcap which make no point in the equation, and yes alt are growing faster but alt have a very low marketcap, it's easy to pump, bitcoin it's harder to pump now with a value of $1300 and more
3495  Economy / Gambling / Re: Favorite (Unique) BitCoin Games? on: April 27, 2017, 04:44:12 PM
i prefer skilled base games where winning is depending on skill, not only luck, such as dice or high-low.

add some arcade style games and pvp games, will be more funny.

good luck in your work

i second this, i'm looking for fun skilled game that do not require luck, not necessarily fps or rts game that are well known, but something else like turret defense to play and win bitcoin, or other small arcade tank based game, too bad steam don't support betting, because they have plenty of good indie game that can be ideal for this, steam should really add a betting platform, would attract many more players
3496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CUDA Miners - What is the most mined coin using the Green Teams Hardware on: April 27, 2017, 04:39:42 PM
I have recently started writing miners and I am having some success.  I have partnered up with another guy that writes incredible code.  I have been working on a New AMD miner for ZEC for a couple of months and hopefully we will be able to release it soon.

In the meantime I want to take a crack at something for the "other" cards (The Green Team aka Nvidia). Grin I was wondering what is the most mined coin with Nvidia hardware and/or what coin is not represented well or at all for Nvidia hardware.

Thanks

could you guy release something for nvidia too, that s not private and open source with nice speed boost on all algo? i can tell yu that the most mined is lbry or zcash for nvidia, which do pretty well, feathercoin is also a good bet with the green team, just check whattomine and put 1070 or 1060 as a sample to see how they perform or check here http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench
3497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EQUIHASH ASICS!?!?! Can it really be? on: April 27, 2017, 04:35:35 PM
no it can't be, but equihash is more prone to fbga than etheruem for example, so in the future it's possible to have the hash rate much higher, i think what you linked oculd be a rig that mine equihash, made of amd gpu like they did with the panda miner for etheruem, at first everyone claimed that it was an asic, but it was just composed by gpu chipset
3498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Signature campaigns on: April 27, 2017, 04:33:38 PM
I've noticed most of the signature campaigns in the services section of alt are of upcoming projects or coins, are there any signature campaigns that give coins from the top 20 of marketcap as payouts?
And actually surprised to see no Ethereum paying campaigns, I think people would be interested in those as much as bitcoin if not more.

no because those signature also serve as a way to distribute the initial reward, all the 20 coins in coinmarketcap already had their distribution phase, thereby it's pointless for them, and signature for new coins pay quite well would be stupid for the top coins to release coins for free
3499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Noobs thoughts on BTC on: April 27, 2017, 04:31:38 PM
Anyone selling large amounts of bitcoin is literally doing the community a favor and helping a more fair distribution of it, if you want a stable market then go open a central bank in which you are able to control the market and have a stable price.
As difficulty increases the price naturally will go up and the only reason why we're not in $1500 range price is because the uncertainty caused by BU and the possibility of a hard fork.
Fiat doesn't need to go any where and we're good as long as people willing to pay fiat in exchange for bitcoin for now.
Bitcoin is not a replacement nor an alternative for fiat but just a new kind of currency which could be obtained in a decentralized manner.

If you want ETH and LTC then go start mining them while it's much easier than bitcoin mining.

man you are confusing the two thing, difficulty go up when the price increase, the difficulty always follow the price, if it was like you said the mining would be unprofitable, because there will be no guaranteed that the price will increase after the diff increase, recently the diff increased again because the value went up this prove the theory
3500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: April 27, 2017, 09:51:17 AM
i don't know why all the hating on zcash it's a great coins, just need the time to get rid of that stupid 2 coins per block to the dev bullshit, in 4 years that amount will go all to the miners after that you will have a true coin, i like the anonimity of zcash more than monero at the moment, and the value is not so good because the production per day is very high and miners are making a tough pressure on the buyers walls
