Are you guys sure its not just the uptime/total hash division issue bug caused by having a uptime of weeks? As in, on the pool side the hashrate drop too?
Personally i have MMMonitor set to reboot once a week so i never encountered this issue, and also i'm using purely EVGA g2's.

Not sure what are your setups but you could all have a look at;

Sound like it might bandaid your problem.
3482  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Sidehack stick solo pool club on: September 25, 2015, 07:35:45 AM
Maybe we post it 4 times a day.

If you're up to it, if you did it at least twice a day you could know accurately enough by using the 1d average to see if the stick has been up for the time its supposed to or not. Doing it more times would allow people to realize something is wrong with their miner if they chose to track it through here rather than do it manually...

Tho it would like to find a way to add the stick to M's Miner Monitor~! Maybe we should bring it up to him?
3483  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Project Assistance] Have Access To Free Electricity, but... on: September 25, 2015, 07:29:00 AM
Just waiting on the go ahead from facilities and tech (network needed and I want a port so I can keep an eye from home).

In the mean time, anyone got a link to a good explanation on the blockchain and how it all works from the inside?

Have you got any replies this week? I am wondering what you final setup will look like after all the ideas we bounced at the wall. Please keep me posted, i'd be up for more idea bouncing if you ever meet some technicalities that need resolved~

I did not receive my payment at all this morning, perhaps the bot is running late? Is anyone else have their payout delayed today? Smiley

I'm surprised no one replied to this yet, am i the only user affected? Since a partial payout last week, my post limit (100) did not update and now this week i simply did not receive my payout and the bot is stuck in the past;

I just checked the bot again and suddenly i got my payout. I didn't get the 0.014BTC missing from last week, but i got got 110 posts paid for a 10 day run, so a fair portion of what i posted over 10 days.

Thanks for keeping this campaign going!
3485  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 25, 2015, 06:41:24 AM
Virosa, /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh

Thank you!

Look like the guide to install smit's worked tho. So i get a nice 2800-2600 RPM now. And i manually installed cgminer 4.9.0.

So i'm messing with voltage now, look like even though its not the PSU that came with the machine (That one died according to the original owner), the replacement he got is the same crap. It look pretty unstable, it doesn't even seem to do 0710 at 206.5 without eventually a drop in hash after 20-30 minutes and a few chip drops.

I was kinda of hoping getting a bit extra hashrate than stock for a bit less power than stock settings but it look like i might have to pick between a bit more hash or a bit better power efficiency.

Another "quirk" is that the Fan4 is fried, i got the 2 stock fan he removed, Fan3 and Fan4, both doesn't seem to work but the PCB of the fan that was probably in Fan4 is fried, burnt to a crisp! So i'm guessing something shorted and it fried the Fan4 controller.

Right now if i plug it in, the Fan doesn't start if its on PWM and if i plug it as 2 pin it work at full speed but the RPM report goes haywire. So i'm guess i'll try to find a 3rd fan, since right now its running with some led fan you put in your computer case for show.

So even though it's sifting air strait from outside's 10C the temp are still high so this is obviously just a setup i can run during winter. But at least for now my ears are saved.
3486  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 25, 2015, 03:52:18 AM
I'll probably be selling my S4s and S4+s soon if anyone is interested. Located in Montreal.

Thanks for the screen. Doesn't overclocking the unit overload the PSU?

Also the temps are surprisingly low, are you able to lower the fan speed to reduce noise?

If they were stock PSUs they'd be overloaded, yes. I'm running them with 2000w server PSUs, so it's fine. I wouldn't go past 212MHz on the stock PSU, and only if running on 240v.

The temps are probably artificially low. I revered the air flow by flipping the fans, so the temp sensor is likely being hit with cooler air than normal. I cold always slow down the fans with --bitmain-homemode, but I don't bother since they're not running in my house.

Where would be the right place to input that command? I probably won't need it since i found out you can flash an old version to the S4, then add smit's low fan, then install the last version cgminer version and keep Volt control.

Also, i'm thinking of grabbing another S4 now, so a Canadian seller would be pretty nifty.

You could add my stick line now, even though it is not online yet, merely for the sake of completeness;

I think they were reshipped with one day shipping from Canada by Valkir yesterday, Thursday, but my tracking number is not in the system yet so unsure if i will receive it Today or Monday.

That's pretty ridiculous, even my bank realized this and is open till 9PM now.

I guess you can trust Poste Canada to continue digging its grave. It's evolving really slow and not keeping up with the pace of the modern age.
3490  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SIDEHACK STICK] Group Buy for Canada on: September 23, 2015, 07:21:11 PM
There should be no duty, as the items were manufactured in USA.  There should only be GST or HST payable plus whatever brokerage fee the courier charged (i think Canadian customs now charges $10 for assessing/clearing, on top of what a courier may charge).

Good will check that to be sure.

Indeed, slap them NAFTA in their face. Also you can calculate what it should have cost on their website;

3491  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SIDEHACK STICK] Group Buy for Canada on: September 23, 2015, 06:51:52 PM
I will check but Im not sure I can really argue with the border fee.
For the bubbleenveloppe, im going to the post office right now and will let you know later.

Perhaps, just sound like they did a mistake. I got 600CAD~ worth of ASIC recently and the border fee was 27CAD~. I'll pay and if they refund their mistake then we'll see but yeah its several time what it should be.

So I just receive the miner. (Well I need to go get them at the post office  Tongue )

The border fee is 125$ (124.21$ exactly)

I need the postal adress of every buyer to make the final bill.  Grin

Send me this via PM

Edit: Ok I check a little bit the price of canada post. Should be around 10$ cad + 5$ for the border. So 15$ cad instead of 15$usd+ border.

No so bad!  Grin Let me know what you guys think. 10$ is 3 day. You can get 1 day for 15$

-armedmilitia 2/paid = 5+5+10 = 20 Cad
-HerbPean 2/paid = 5+5 (if pick up in montreal) = 10 cad
-cryptoglance 4/paid = (5*4)+10 = 30 cad
-sk8erskid420 3/paid = (3*5)+10 = 25 cad
-SFMiner 2/paid = 5+5+10 = 20 cad
-VirosaGITS 1/paid = 5+10 = 15 cad
-tcrasher 5/Paid = (5*5)+10 = 35 cad
-Finksy 2/Paid = 5+5+10 = 20 cad

1 day for me! Can I have total BTC amount owed?

I need you full adress  Wink

Edit: I will have to do it tomorrow.  Angry

You wake up too early Tongue I guess we'll all have to just be patient.

Woah 125$ border fee? Thats crazy for a 525$ import, make sure they didn't do a mistake and are trying to fuck us over!

For shipping, for me just use a bubble envelope. For instance 50-100g would be 1.80$ postage fee. The envelope are 1.79 for one or like 5$ for a pack of 10. (All CAD prices)

Hey guys, can somebody please tell me why am I still seeing limit when I check my stats? I thought that limits have been lifted? Have I missed something?

Thanks!

Me too, but apparently its because the limit was not lifted in time so even though i had a payout 1 day after the announcement, the change was not made by then, thus we are still under limit until a second payout after the announcement.

Oh Ok, so you need to be paid once in order for limit to be removed, right?

After the change has been made. Yes. I just don't know when it was done or if it's been done. Since as i said, i got a shorted payout Wednesday, the announcement was Tuesday. Thursday i hit the 100 post limit again and i have not received reply about this nor about the full payout yet.

So we just have to be patient and then we'll be able to enjoy the limit being removed Smiley

Hello again Tsar. Yes you did not wait for Marco to reply. Some people get pretty busy in life and seeing your attitude here, i'm not surprised you would get refused from Campaign Signature. You might of had a chance if you did not start attack and insulting people in this thread(?).

Meanwhile i think you are using Marco's personal avatar, not Bit-x's avatar, in which seem a bit weird.
i didnt wore marco's avtar ,it was bit-x ...loll

This is Marco's personal custom Avatar;

So basically you were using someone else's custom/personal Avatar.

What if your miner finds a block?

Your name will appear on the acclaim page, your own very name on the Hall of Fame of Kano Pool... Forever! (Maybe)
Anyways, here, at least for now Tongue ;

Somehow you need to be logged in to see it, however.
3498  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB][CA/QC]Thinking of buying some S7s? Then sell me your S3/S5's! on: September 21, 2015, 12:00:50 PM
If you really want an S5 badly enough your only choice right now is that other thread on here where he is selling 30 S5 for $320 USD each. He's in Ontario probably so shipping will be cheap for you.

I'm not in any hurry. I'm looking for deals and am open to offers. If Skycoin Lab's S5's are v1.91 i could be interested close to that price, but i'm not that interested in buying one for 330$~ total, and the price is not good enough to bother asking yet, but i will probably make an offer sometime soon, see if he can sweeten the pot.

Otherwise i might just pick up some deals for S3's. Where do you go about finding those local S3's you're talking about? Just the fact they would be located in Canada would cut the shipping cost in half and may prove of interest.

I have S5's for sale for $320 and S3's for $70 Buyer pays shipping. PM me if you interested

7 x S3 Units and 4 x S5 units left to sell

I am still interested in your S3's and perhaps i could could pick up a S5, but did the situation since the last time, where you gave me a 40$ shipping per unit quote, change?

I'm looking at a 330$ shipped for a S5 deal at the moment from skycoin lab and would be interested in S3's at 85$ shipped for S3's.

its OK ,its my fault how can i expect open mindednes from a 5 year old..

I don't think starting an argument/insult war here is a good way to get accepted. It was the weekend so getting upset about not getting a reply seem counter-productive. The guys need a break, i am not expecting him to do this 24/7.
Meanwhile i think you are using Marco's personal avatar, not Bit-x's avatar, in which seem a bit weird.
Regardless, best of luck.

Best campaign around Wink
